Working as a team 3-0 doesn't flatter us I know it's only a friendly but a performance is a performance

Only slight concern is Morelos went off after his goal in 55 minutes

Glenn Middleton was just brilliant but every player out there looks fit and lean and hungry. I love the high pressing game we are playing and the physical aspect Stevie has brought. I know it was only a friendly match but I have to say I was mightily impressed. Goldson and Katic may just be the difference between winning and not winning the league. Great start and the players are beginning to gel. I"ve refrained from using the corny line but hey ho, here goes - "let"s go! "

3.can you please tell s what will he boy have to do to slightlyvalter you very negative opinion of him . taking into account he scored today . worked his socks off . could easily have had 4 assists if those around had been a bit sharper. definatly worked more than his fair share of 50/ 50 harassing Wigan into making numerous errors along the way. And showing increadable passion in sticking up for DC when he got chopped . ah yes you want consistency. like over all the league you could pick less than 10 and certainly none from our team last season. so apart from that what else might ease your pain. Dressing up as the mascot on his down tome like ally did? Can you give us a small clue? Cheers pal.

I'm glad morelos got another goal, great finish, put his head in where he's likely to get hurt. I hope he does kick on, he needs it. He is frustrating because he does miss where he really should be scoring, yes all strikers do, but him more often. In big games where he might only get one chance he has to take it, if he starts to do that then he will have turned a corner. Another quick point, how refreshing is to be dominant and a threat in the air again. Middleton has to get a run of games, what a find that boy is.

Thats fine dlc but iam hoping he proves you wrong think the criticism is way over the top, the young boy came to a new country finished top scorer, fair play missed a few sitters but he will learn and develop, we played a friendly pre season game and 2 matches in europe before this week and got slaughterd even thoe no serve just think it bang out, give the boy a chance.

Molsgoals as I've said I'd be delighted if this form continues yes I was at ibrox and yes heard it but my and most others based our opinions on the tail end of last season IMO he's nowhere near the finished article and IMO his finishing has been poor that's undeniable.

again as I've said before a professional footballer shouldn't be missing what he missed last year. I'm sorry that I and others don't blindly support everyone especially with his attitude.

Look at the stick and hate Andy halliday gets on here tries 100 % even played out of position very few cut hub the slack Morelos gets.

God love him . Glad to hear you were singing Alfredo’s name though. Some of the sitters the dear Sally missed were outrageous. G S even dropped him for months so come on cut the boy some slack . what more as I said does he have to do for you to realise

Dlc if he was the finished article he'd be nowhere near ibrox tho that's not the market were shopping in unfortunately. He's a young guy learning his trade yes he misses ones he should score but he's got the potential to be a really good striker and will make us some cash in time.

Where is Cummings going to play? Seriously it’s 4-3-3 he cannot play in that system as lone striker. he’s also single fish. we all love him due to being a funny likeable character but he’s not good enough unfortunately. he had chances at the back end of season to impress when morelos went off the boil but he fluffed his chances as well when clean through on numerous occasions. Laff or moult would be decent Squad players only.

BearMode91, let's just make them a final non-negotiable offer of, say, £300,000 plus Wallace and if that's rejected we look elsewhere. I'm sure it would be rejected but it would confirm that we can no longer deal with most Scottish clubs. Remember Walker? Our £300k bid was rejected as 'insulting' and he was then sold for - £300k. If they keep Lafferty they will have to pay him for a whole season and get nothing back from a totally disillusioned and demoralised player. But Scottish clubs would rather starve than deal with us, such is the hatred they have for us.

1 mill for a 30 yr old with a year left on his contract. Hearts are a f#@##ng joke. They called our offer for Jamie walker insulting, and then sold him for the same price. We can't do business with scottish clubs in the premiership; They are all at it. Unless we can nick their youngsters, or get people on pre contracts, then we should just stay away from them. They all tried to kill our club (Kilmarnock excluded) . We should hurt these clubs whenever we can, not provide them with any further funds, because the attitude that voted us down still prevails, and if you think I'm being petty, fair enough, but I don't think we can afford to stick our head in the sand, and pretend this isn't happening. I have previously stated on hear That all we doing with these low ball offers to other teams is isulting them therefor the will not won't to deal with us.
lafferty may be in his last year of his contract but he also scored 19 goals last season so hearts where never going sell him on the cheap.
We should have put a fair bid off 500k in and tain it from there.

I'm not surprised tbh. Think we've brought this on ourselves with the £200k offer. If we'd went in slightly higher then hearts might have been willing to talk. I'd like to get Lafferty back but I think we're now needing him to submit a transfer request or I fear the deal won't happen.

Hes in his last year of his contact, Hearts paid nothing for him. He’s worth half a million and no more on his final year I’m afraid.

Paying over the odds for players is how you get yourself into a mess financially, mind that thing that happened to us 6 years ago?

Celtic are doing the same thing with John McGinn and they are entitled to do it, their first bid well under what Hibs want, but as per usual Hibs and Hearts will play hard and they will end up with nothing. McGinn isn’t worth 2m on his last year and Lafferty isn’t worth around 1m on his last year either.

We have done it with every player we bid for from scotland and am yet to see a player join us after bidding so low.

embarrassment, you pay what your think a player is worth. if you think lafferty is worth 500k then you don't offer 500k because guess what that offer will be rejected. that's the way business works. you put in an offer, they reject claiming he's worth x amount and then ideally you meet somewhere in the middle. Embarrassment is really strong for a board who has forked out an absolute fortune over the last 3 seasons.

Wallace is a RANGERS player end of. He was our captain who sustained a bad injury and we, as a club, owe it to him to get him fit and back playing and I would rather he was playing FOR us rather than against.
