Let's be honest were never going to afford a 20k a week player never mind mikels wages, let's be realistic who do you want brought in and why? Personally me I'd like to snatch Cummings from hibs and bannigan and lawless from thistle.

What do they call doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results? We learnt what Hibs are all about through the Scott Allan fiasco and so forget about Cummings.

I don't know why anyone would think hibs would sell Cummings to us in the first place when they wouldn't sell SA in the Summer. Also just like to say big kiernan was solid on Saturday and that scapegoat Danny Wilson strolled through the game. Tav and waggy (both I rate very highly) were a little out of sorts but because of the standard that has been set they can't look great all the time.

I'm not dean shiels' biggest fan, but I think he set up 3 goals when he came on, plus if anyone ever wondered why we hardly put corners into the box, then Saturday gave me the answer. Every corner that was put in it was just as good as giving the ball away. However i'm happy with the progress in such a short period of time. Totally dominated the game.

Sam Nicholson, Greg Kiltie, John souttar and Jackson Irvine.

Billy makay is your man, you need a proven goal scorer he knows the Scottish game inside out up ther, and as iv said on here before he is rangers to the bone, his work rate is unreal and with the proper feeding he would score plenty as he has proved, I personly can't believe Celtic didn't grab him at the price he went to Wigan,

Tavernier shares accommodation with Kiran and Fotheringhay. There was an article in the paper a few months back where he said Kiran does the cooking. Waghorn lives with his wife.

I said in the summer that we should have signed Billy McKay, he would score a shedload in this Rangers team.

just a wee observation, noticed on a few close up shots yesterday that both Tavernier and Waghorn are carrying a wee bit extra round the tummy area.

Is it because they are sharing accommodation? and possibly not eating properly?

just a thought.

with recent signings, management and loanees we must have a lot currently living out of suitcases too when proper family life would be better?

I thought there was a cafeteria at training with healthy foods? Modern footballers know all about dietitian its drummed into them as much as tactics these days. So they get a longer carrer eating fish chicken pasta bananas not in one dish though that would be to freaky.

29 Nov 2015 12:29:27
Aye they are grossly obese, the pair of them. As for not eating properly, maybe they are eating too well. Some people.

To be fair the guy has only said a few extra pounds and he is right. Being fed right all day doesn't mean 2 young lads living together are going to behave all the time.
I'm sure they will sort it though.

Wee bill our management team are doing checks on the players body fat all the time, as the boss is a stickler for diets. so if any of our players had a problem with weight, they would be forced to remove it straight away. so I don't see a problem.

29 Nov 2015 17:38:24
All players bmi is checked before they go on the training ground also they are checked on their hydration levels and if anyone isn't where they should be they get fined plus can't train.

29 Nov 2015 18:29:05
The blind loyalty supporters have towards management teams never ceases to amaze me.

29 Nov 2015 20:00:32
Does that go for your lot as well?

29 Nov 2015 22:54:15
Said seeker, they are unreal eh?

29 Nov 2015 00:07:15
Another piece of football irony, it was Peterhead we played in our first league match in the lower leagues and now we will play them in the Challenge Cup Final in what will surely be the day we get that monkey off our back.
It's funny how these scenarios work themselves out in football, to set things up.
