Draw would have been much better result cause we now need 4 pts instead of 2 pts (Spartak will lose in Spain) hope we manage it but will be tough with our inexperienced team.

Lads no matter how we do it’s been a million times better than last season. What tonight highlights is we still need investment in better standard of players
But take nothing away from SG or the team they battled very well and have made this season a big step in the right direction.

Ordered a training jacket on Tuesday for my boys Xmas and it was delivered this morning. Top quality gear I have to say. Those that were knocking Hummel can get it right up them.

Think it will be a score draw tonight. Yes it would be nice to win but I’m just delighted with the fact that we can compete against this level of competition again. Number one priority is the league so if we go out at this stage won’t be a disaster👍🏼.

I quite fancy us tonight to take the 3 points. Undoubtedly it’s a difficult game against strong opposition but with the atmosphere at Ibrox on European nights, I feel we spurn the players on to perform at the next level. The 12th man as it’s often referred to.

Tough ask tonight, we will need to be at our best, they will attack us though so should be a cracking game and will be backs to the wall at times I’m sure. We need massive performances from Ryan Jack, Coulibaly, Goldson, McGregor, Tav and Fredo. If they all perform we can win but I’d take a draw and go to Vienna knowing what’s required.

Good evening fellow bears thought I would just share part of my evening with you.

Was out celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday in Miller and Carters restaurant in Glasgow and Nikola Katic and Ross McCrory came in. Got the customary photos and got talking to them and asked them if they were both in the squad tomorrow and McCrory said he was and Katic said no. I asked him if he was out injured and he said no.

Wished them all the best for tomorrow and rest of season.

Sorry for the long winded statement but personally cannot understand why big Katic is not even in squad. Big guy looked quite down but said to him keep the chin up once a bear always a bear.

Find that strange if he's not even in squad. We're sacrificing our own player for a guy in worral who we have no chance of signing, and who has no intention of staying anyway. All were going to be left with is a young player who's confidence is shot to pieces or who wants away.

Katic seems to have been made the scapegoat for the horrific defensive performance in Moscow. To be fair he was rotten on that occasion but he wasn’t the only one. Test of character for him now, head down, work hard and take your opportunity when it comes.

Steven Gerrard wouldn't castigate katic for no reason guys! There's obviously something happening in training, that stevie G is noticing,
thus why katic isn't playing! We have to trust the manager, as he takes training and sees katic everyday! Big katic does look short of confidence just now, if i'm being honest!

This is a consequence of this daft rotation nonsense. When you are playing well then suddenly you are out the team for no legit reason it will affect your form. If you are injured, running on empty or out of form then there is no reason why you should be dropped. Katic was playing great, he wasn't in need of a rest the issue is this daft rotation👍.

He’s 4th choice CB for now so he has to knuckle down and get back in front of the others. I think it will be Worrall and Goldson tonight with McAuley back in for Sunday.
