what is the deal with with windass? he plays well for 20 mins then hides for the rest of the match. also pena is clearly hopeless should have been sent off twice.

30 Sep 2017 00:10:52
I'm fed up with windass tbh does anybody else not think when Wallace is back to play john left wing and Wallace behind him? Think that could have a better balance down the left side.

30 Sep 2017 05:06:54
I agree that up until now Pena has not shown us why we paid between £2-2.5M for him. I personally think that he will come good, and the only way he can do this is by getting game time!
I do think that he has ability and a good football brain BUT he needs to get used to the tempo of our game.
I get why there were supporters who were unhappy at him being selected for the Accies game, although I've not seen the match and I do not know how he performed? But Pedro must include Pena as this is the only way he can get to the level he needs be at.
For me I would use him in games against Teams that we should be dominating but against Teams such as the Sheep, Hibs, Hearts and St. Jstne if he is still off pace then a change must be made!
It is difficult and frustrating to take but its the only way to get this Player to the level he should be at!
Again I know its p! sh BUT there is NO better way to get the Player up to speed than to throw him in! He needs to get his act together soon tho and if Caxinha is saying that he is 100% fit then its surely just a matter of time until he starts to produce the goods when it matters.

30 Sep 2017 08:03:51
Andy 1872 I did see the game last night and to an extent I understand what you're saying about Pena. Give him game time and surely he'll come good-have to say I have real doubts about him. Off the pace from the very start, poor passing, poor control, poor tackling, poor discipline (should have been sent off twice and will probably get banned for an off the ball elbow the ref didn't see) He makes think of that guy Aly Dia who Souness signed at Southampton who was a total imposter. Maybe the real Pena is still playing in Mexico and is smashing it. Look I want him to be great otherwise he's a total waste of a lot of money we can ill afford but for me you have to earn a first team place and he's miles off! We have youngsters like Bar jonas who are bursting for a start and have already shown they can put in a decent shift. In my view he deserves a chance and would certainly have to be bad to be worse than Pena last night.

30 Sep 2017 08:25:41
Like playing with 10 men when penna in team utterly useless lucky not to be sent off

30 Sep 2017 09:15:17
I wouldn't be surprised if he is punished for the elbow last night. Probably should have been sent off to for that poor tackle as well.

30 Sep 2017 09:24:42
I hope Pena comes good but I do worry.
He reminds me of the other Latin boys who came to Scotland. Good players but just couldn't get up to speed with the crazy tempo of out game.
I am of course thinking of Sebastian Rosenthal and Gabriel Amato.

30 Sep 2017 09:44:37
What, amato was brilliant. If Pena is as bad as amato he'd be the best player in our team.

30 Sep 2017 14:18:38
Amato was a very good player, but was never up to the pace of the game here. I think that was the point bluegenius was making. At the time all the fans were saying if Amato had a yard of pace he would have would have went from Mallorca to Madrid and not Glasgow. He's now coaching in Mexico, by the way. Pena, however, is a player I've willed to do well for some time now and it's more than just a bit of pace he lacks. He is clearly unfit, his touch is awful, his concentration is zero, his passing is woeful and he has no discipline. If we keep playing him he will eventually cost us dearly. Sorry, this one's a mistake, but if you have to sign 10 players almost all at once, then a 70% success rate should be viewed as good. I think Pedro's around that mark. He was always going to need two or three transfer windows to make this work and he should be given that by our very fickle, glory-hunting 'fans'.

30 Sep 2017 14:34:15
He is playing out of position he is not a left winger and does not have the engine to get up and down the wing.

30 Sep 2017 14:36:02
Not convinced about Pena either, but i don't think a wet plastic surface helped him cope with the pace of the game.

30 Sep 2017 14:54:16
Aye Amato was pure class. Pena nowhere near that calibre of player.

29 Sep 2017 22:31:39
Good attitude tonight to get the win, going forward we look decent defending not so good tho, that pitch must be a nightmare to play on. For me although I like the lad Windass doesn't do it time and again he gets into good positions and nothing happens also doesn't mark up when he should. Need someone else in there.

30 Sep 2017 00:29:49
I'd give the lad Nemane a chance on the left and get Walker on a pre contract in January. Windass is far too inconsistent

30 Sep 2017 09:16:16
I thought Nemane looked quite lively when he came on last weekend worth a start to see how he performs

29 Sep 2017 22:17:08
Think rangers fans need to get the bigger picture not that long ago we were in the bottom division no money no team add on value . yes we have moved on and now back were we belong but in reality do you think we would spend millions and overtake celtic get a reallity check . it's going to be small steps that started last season and will continue and the fans better realise this or would we rather go back to the lower divisions because that would happen as I said small steps is our only option and the fans better get used to this.

30 Sep 2017 04:03:37
You're right but with the miney we've spent anything other than 2nd place is a huge failure

30 Sep 2017 08:04:58
Cob320, we have always had money, the problem was that people were steeling it out of the club, remember 40,000 season tickets at £400 is 16mil coming in . Now that the theives are gone we should be asking for more for our £400. So when we watch a player that cost 2-3mil and clearly is not fit therefor in my opinion not interested we are more than entitled to moan and ask questions. The fact is the players are not good enough and the manager hasn't got a tactic in his head. Be honest here did anyone see one bit of quality tonight? Look at the goals, all 5 of them, all of them came from mistakes it was just that they made more than us. We need change now.

30 Sep 2017 09:31:42
jyf what a load of crap. how much money does it take just to open up ibrox, do you have any idea? goals come from mistakes! of course they do, i'd a team doesn't make a mistake you can't get on the ball. difference from last year, we couldn't punish those mistakes. vive the team a bit of credit. i saw pretty good goals in there .

30 Sep 2017 14:23:34
Mikeger we've spent millions on many an occasion and not finished second. In my lifetime we went 23 years and won the league just four times and finished outside the top three a few times, spending millions on the way. Your post is dross.

29 Sep 2017 22:10:33
That was a better performance, a bit of backbone. Jack red carded and still we dominated, if it takes us putting in a few hard challenges so be it. Much better tonight.

30 Sep 2017 10:38:14
Fod, I'm starting to warm to you, that's the first sensible and positive message you've posted😀 When Scott Brown done his wee piroete he should have been tackled! In a "Welcome to Ibrox " sort of way which would have set the required tone and the guys would gave responded to that. Anyway keep up thus positive approach, it is much better 😊

30 Sep 2017 11:15:49
Yes Fod had to. laugh at Jacks first booking he stood on wee Crawford who was playing well at the time and gave him a mouthful that's more like the midfield enforcer we need, glad to get the points we were bad and Hamilton apart from young Crawford was woeful but hey will take the points and a few goals as a bonus.

30 Sep 2017 14:27:03
Aye credit where It's due. Well done guys, much much better!

30 Sep 2017 14:28:56
Easily pleased if u ask me. we had a good 10 min period were we scored 3 but still miles off it. poor Hamilton team with 5 players missing get a sense of realism lads

29 Sep 2017 21:45:00
You lot need to get off Pedros back out of all the players he has brought to the club the majority of them have improved the team and I think the others will become good, please don't be that sheep believe in the guy it's clear the players do, I believe sometimes the truth can hurt and things become a bit sour and when that happens you need to get rid of the bad apple that could affectively ruin what you are turn to build!
What is it you want we have been to the gutters and you expect instant success and yes I grew up in that era and have watched players at ibrox a lot of bears will probs never see in this country ever again!
I loved the response tonight I don't know what it is you expect, Rome was not built in a day!
Well done rangers and onwards and upwards!

29 Sep 2017 22:00:41
Well said Dazbear that team looked as if they were all in it together especially after going one down so early we know we need more players quality players but right now we don't have the money it will take time

29 Sep 2017 22:17:43
Well said dazbear totally agree 👍

30 Sep 2017 07:07:20
A few gers on the same page as me :)

30 Sep 2017 09:50:13
Fair play, great response from going behind so early. As I have said many times - there is a decent squad at Ibrox. I'd really love to see Pedro succeed guys but he has a lot to prove. Tonight was a good night. Let's keep it going

30 Sep 2017 09:51:17
Papering over the cracks i think mate. i know this isn't going to be a popular opinion amongst my fellow bears but i think Sutton talks the most sense out of all the pundits

30 Sep 2017 09:53:31
Remember this famous response:

When the seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea.

I think this sums everything up.

29 Sep 2017 21:40:07
Well done Rangers.

29 Sep 2017 21:58:23
We got the win as ugly as it was with only fod, John and holt worth there salt. Let’s hope rossiter fit soon with jack suspended

29 Sep 2017 23:15:02
I thought big Wes was outstanding again. For the life of me I do not understand what some fans have have against him, he does have my heart in my mouth but in over two seasons I can't directly blame him for a single goal without being hysterical.

30 Sep 2017 09:52:40
Well done Pedro

29 Sep 2017 20:42:24
I wonder if pedro will drop mcrorrie when alves comes back from his holiday in madrid. He should maybe grown a pair of balls an drop cardoso instead. I wouldn't put money on it though.
#pedrogohome.

29 Sep 2017 22:43:20
If you cannot support the manager of Rangers you are not a true supporter of the club, we expect our enemies to put us down but not from our own.

29 Sep 2017 23:16:36
Stick your hash tag up your Arsene Wenger sir, but personally I'd like to see McCrorie start with Bruno over Cardoso.

30 Sep 2017 01:18:26
Ron59 how do you work out hez no a real supporter cause he doesn't like the manager? That must be the most ridiculous statement ever. Its the club he supports managers come and go, not all are good. Is that tge same with players, boardroom guys too. Do you hope for an easdale return or let's get ally back to manage. Away to sleep ron59.

30 Sep 2017 07:33:27
There is no point in trying to explain anything about support to you, you just don't get it .

30 Sep 2017 09:47:42
Class performance from Pedro this evening.

30 Sep 2017 14:22:05
I'd probably drop mccrorie! As Mitch as I like him and its good to have good young players coming through he has had some shakey moments.

29 Sep 2017 19:40:17
Just watched pc's interview on bt sport. And i've got to say what a wee prick he is. Kenny Miller has been a rock for rangers since he came back. He is a very professional player who is respected by many of his follow pros. Keep kenny and get shot of this portuguese clown. I couldn't care less about how his future performances go as Manager. His petulance is disgusting. #pedrogohome.

29 Sep 2017 20:39:12
Aye nae bother teddy bear

29 Sep 2017 22:33:20
no player is bigger so the saying goes, if he us the leak then he deserves where he is. if you have staff and one is pulling against what u r trying to shape, then you need to move them out quick, all good managers do the same.

29 Sep 2017 23:19:56
Geesadodothat, i get where you are coming from and i agree to an extent. However i still feel that no Manager is bigger than our team. Kenny is a model pro! And i don't believe the shite that's being spouted about him.

29 Sep 2017 23:08:46
we have had this before with an individual who thought he was bigger than rangers, since he left his performance ZERO as player and manager although still nit picks like some kind of guru in newspapers . do not know what has gone on but let us be clear any board who takes a player against are so so wrong

30 Sep 2017 09:44:48
Cardosa was stinking for that goal

30 Sep 2017 09:45:46
Im glad we've came back but i'm afraid its just papering over the cracks and Pedro knows it. when do u ever see him just sitting still in the dugout?

30 Sep 2017 14:21:00
Kenny if he is the mole must be shown the door!

30 Sep 2017 14:32:17
@tb1872 - Miller is well past his best and if he has been running to the Daily Rebel with stories then he deserves banished from Ibrox, never mind to the U20's.

30 Sep 2017 14:37:24
Inwhat way is Miller a model pro rather than just a pro?
I don’t know him but I suspect his fan club don’t know either. He is an average striker with an average goal rate -less than 1 goal in 3 games according to two sites I checked including the lower divisions – he has no touch and relies on instinct rather than technical skill and now he is playing out of the box that is amplified.
He is not a Rangers man –not a really bad thing as most of our greats weren’t either – but the stuff on here about him being a loyal servant is OTT, he is very well paid and went to our biggest rivals so not a servant or particularly loyal either.

I am not anti Miller just fed up of the rubbish I see about him.

29 Sep 2017 19:03:12
I back Pedro 100% to be giving time but this is just a thought if our board did decide to sack him or of he had enough of the negative media which I wouldn't blame him then looking at the names to replace him you get same old same old mccinnes, wroght, big Eck etc. Well how about Alan Archibald mayby not as manager but get in a mccinnes or Tommy Wright or Eck and have Alan on the coaching staff he's young coach doing very well with partick and I feel like he will be at a big club mayby not a club with the same history and fan base as rangers but a half decent English side and who nose where he could go if he does well just my thoughts his side gets better every season even though he has been there for years which doesn't really happen now u see coaches taake a team as far as they can then 3/ 4 years of doing the best they can they call time but his side's still developing selling young prospects for profits and getting very good replacements either on loan or the cheap . Opinions?

29 Sep 2017 20:17:05
no offence mate but if that happened we may as well pack it all in

29 Sep 2017 18:46:47
This goes on about longer than I expected it too. It please read it all

So Pedro isn't winning the league in his first season but who really thought he would?

Not me!

Even the top managers with the biggest budgets don't always win the league in the first go yes Conte did it last year but Jose and Pep failed to set the world alight last season but look now after one year they have managed too put there stamp on there teams good and proper they are both unbeaten so far this season.

I know as Rangers fans we feel It is our god given right too be at the top but the truth is it takes time and chopping and changing managers isn't the Rangers way.

We are a better side than last season.

We are playing benfica next month in Canada which I fee is down to Pedro and will only enhance our global profile which I feel has taken a dent the last few years.

We are going to Florida in January to play South American teams. Again this will help our global profile I think this one is down to Allister Johnston but also helped by the South Americans in our team.

I see progress on and off the field so I would say that not everything is doom and gloom guys and gals.

PS I did go on a little bit.

29 Sep 2017 19:44:06
Your comparing winning spl to epl your having a laugh, there is at least 6 top teams in epl. Only need to get past the mhanky mob up here i'm sure jose, conte or whoever else you mentioned could get a team together for 10 million and have them gelled and winning by now. Giez piece mate.

29 Sep 2017 21:47:20
Only have to get past them as if that's easy they have far superior finances than us and a team that's been built over 5 years our starting team had 4 players that have Been at the club longer than 5 month

As for the EPL comparison obviously it's a different scale from the Spfl

30 Sep 2017 01:21:29
If it was that obvious why make a silly comparison? Just whatever pops into your noggin.

30 Sep 2017 08:00:54
Aye pretty much same as some or the rubbish yourself and others post lol

I noticed you didn't disagree about the positives and that we feel it's our right too be too you found one thing that was abut over the top and went for it but you couldn't build on the positive stuff yeah again this just came into my noggin

29 Sep 2017 18:32:01
As a supporter I never like to see anything other than a Rangers win but purely as a talking point, would you accept defeat tonight if it meant the end of Pedro’s tenure as manager? If so, why?

29 Sep 2017 19:06:57
Brown brogues have a word with yourself

29 Sep 2017 19:19:01
Oh dear Gary75, a wee hypothetical debate not your thing son?

29 Sep 2017 19:35:23
I want rangers to win always

29 Sep 2017 19:39:46
Listen brownbrogues, for any so called TRUE rangers supporter even contemplating, wanting glasgow rangers to lose, just to get our manager the sack, imo really needs to go and support another football club! I really mean this and make NO apologies for saying it! Your bang on gary 75!Brownbrogues, "HAVE A BIG WORD WITH YOURSELF"! You're not a glasgow rangers fan in my eyes! End of!

29 Sep 2017 19:59:33
Supercooper, I don’t want to see Rangers lose, far from it, but you can’t deny a lot of Gers fans, whom are entitled to their opinion, want Pedro out. Some may accept a loss if it’s the catalyst to the end of Pedro which is the talking point raised - but they’re not true fans in your eyes even if they turn up each week and pay their money to support the Gers? Pedro deserves time but even with your short sighted views you can’t deny we’re under achieving at this point in time.

29 Sep 2017 20:28:28
supercoop is dead on. any person who actively wants a defeat for a manager to go isn't a rangers supporter and can bolt regardless of if they have spent money or not. not even a debate mate, more inciting a row than anything and if your statement is something you even contemplate you should be ashamed.

29 Sep 2017 20:49:08
I will NEVER want Rangers to get beat.

Managers and players come and go. All you ask is they try their best while they are here.

I think everyone is entitled to their opinion but wanting your team to get beat to get the manager the sack is just stupid.

29 Sep 2017 20:49:14
Cheers coops some don't understand supporting means to give support and to back

29 Sep 2017 21:49:07
BrownBrogues I've heard everything now. Unbelievable.

30 Sep 2017 09:42:06
@BB -that's the most embarrassing post ever on here. You should be ashamed of yourself!
Would you not rather hope the team bounce back tonight and go on an unbeaten run?

30 Sep 2017 09:49:26
I never want us to get beat no matter what the circumstances are but i fear that result just prolongs the inevitable.

30 Sep 2017 14:25:46
Well in gary 👏👏

29 Sep 2017 18:05:30
After reading a few reports on news now the media are now going for the jugular and will not rest till Pedro and the the players he brought in are gone. I will go as far as to say they are verging on being racist and it makes me sick to the stomach. We have a good thing going at Ibrox that just needs time to work. This manager will bring in talent from all over the world with his connections and the fact he can speak a few languages. If we want to go down the Scottish manager route we will be no better than for example Motherwell. We are building a model here that can attract under the radar players and sell them on at vast profit. If any serious supporters can disagree they are short sighted. Wake up, the Scottish players are not great look at the national team we can't compete at any level we need the foreign lads, give them time.
PS Miller - I love, but he is playing a dangerous game.

29 Sep 2017 18:48:42
What good thing is happening at Ibrox right now?

29 Sep 2017 18:55:22
Verging on racist? Which race or races have been insulted? Could you quote me a couple of examples of this?

29 Sep 2017 22:45:07
most of the press are out to give rangers a hard time. they hang on to every word ped says. diversity should be welcomed not mocked. i would love to see anyone of the going to central america and survive. most of what peds says is true, sure he uses some unusual metaphors but to me its fresh air. better applauded than mocked.

{Ed033's Note - Shouldn't it be all about results i.e. winning matches, not diversity?

29 Sep 2017 22:56:30
Naz, There is an anti Mexican and Portuguese agenda since Pedro started. If the same players or manager were from Scotland their origin would not have been mentioned on poor results, just that they are not good enough. Please explain if i'm not not wrong.

29 Sep 2017 17:34:08
I'm saying it now. Pedro needs to go
Reasons Why -

He is a liability, he's lost dressing room, man-management terrible, recruitment poor, results, dillusional speeches, ideas and tactics.

Reasons Why not -
No money to get rid and draft another in.
Speaks good English
Great at moving glasses
He works 6 - 6 so is devoted

I cannot see what he's implemented and what the buzz of having him here at the helm. I'm not being negative and still support my club but I'm entitled to my opinion.

29 Sep 2017 15:32:54
well that's very refreshing just seen on the polls here that out of bout 300 (rounding up)
200 of the rangers fans on here are actualy not wanting pc to go and have a brain in between their ears.

but one third of us are stupid enough to demand another manager even thoug we don't have the money to sack pedro and also don't have the capabilities to get rid of his players and build again which most new managers like to do.

the guy has brought in good quality players but it hasn't clicked as yet and maybe there is a missing ingrediant weather that be walker or moult or both. but u can't deny his signing have in most part been better than what we had.

alves candias morelos jack dorrans and the two mexicans have still to really get a consistant run in the team and i believe they will come good for us.

its been a long road back, don't lose our support now because that's just us being impatient!

give the man this season if no improvement then yes call for his head but i can already see improvement.

29 Sep 2017 16:08:07
Good post peds and I for one am right with you on that. We're always looking for the quick fix get rid and get another manager in well its just not going to work, We must give him time. Pedro inherited a poor team with below rangers standard players and as you said has brought in some descent players we just need to give him time at least to xmas to see where we are going. Looking fwd to a good performance tonight and three valuable points. Come on Pedro.

29 Sep 2017 16:17:33
He’s not up to the job for me lads his results since he came in have been shocking the only decent result he’s had is 3.0 at pittodrie last season! he lost our 25 year home record against Aberdeen he got us our biggest hammering at home to Celtic and we got put out of Europe by a team we should have wiped the floor with and his record signing has been here 3 months and is still not match fit. A hate to be negative but the board took a gamble and it’s not worked they should now do the right thing and admit they got it wrong

29 Sep 2017 16:43:09
He has no CV worth speaking of, he has the worst win ratio of any Rangers manager post Souness, he alienates players and to top that off, he talks utter tosh to the media and makes us a laughing stock.

Keep the faith, faith in what?
We have yet to look semi convincing, at best, and we looked like we were happy losing 2-0 last weekend.

I just don't see what people see as positives from him?
I would love to, believe me, because we are the laughing stock of Scottish football all over again.

At a time where the board needed a steady appointment - they went with a guy that the whole world went. ehhh. who?

The board lacks the courage to do all that is necessary with Pedro, it is plain to see that we are a mediocre top 5 side and its shocking to be honest.
Warburton may have had a shoddy team last season, but amassed that team for pennies, not for the multi millions that Pedro has spent.

Folk need to stop pandering and look at the bare facts. He is simply not cutting the mustard.

29 Sep 2017 17:31:29
Yes we beat Aberdeen 0-3 last season, but they battered us for 75-80 mins

Still not sure about Pedro personally. Results have been too inconsistent

Major defeats against Celtic and Aberdeen don’t make for a good record

How many of you go to Ibrox each home game and actually belive we will have a clean sheet never mind win the match

Teams don’t have any fear coming to Ibrox and that for me is not on

29 Sep 2017 15:32:43
Can someone explain to me how Caxinha could have found out Kenny Miller was leaking to the press?

29 Sep 2017 16:25:16
Who says he has found out kenny leaked stuff to the press?

29 Sep 2017 15:47:47
edd can u do a poll?

who would you rather see as manager.
a) pedro
b) mccinnes
c) tommy wright
d) other.

{Ed033's Note - I put a poll up yesterday about this. I can put up another poll if you want, but based on previous polls on here, most Rangers supporters seem to want to give Pedro to at least Christmas before making a managerial change (if there needs to be a change) and most supporters prefer Derek McInnes to take over if need be.

Why don't we leave it a couple of weeks before putting up another manager poll?

29 Sep 2017 12:44:52
so answer me this guys, who thinks millers form this season so far deserves to be in the team?

pena and herrera have shown they can do it and with more game time and match fitness they will both be a real asset to our club.

if u managed any team in the world and they had a veteran player that done well for the club but the season you take charge his form isn't there and age is showing would you not think that its you're right to drop said player as he isn't doing it for you.

what would you lot do, keep playing a man reguardless of form as you would win nuthin.

29 Sep 2017 12:59:52
This is all circumstantial, if he genuinely has been the leak then i think he should never play with rangers again. If he hasn't, then no I wouldn't agree on playing him irregardless of his form, but i would certainly keep him there training with the squad as he would have a big influence in the dressing room.

29 Sep 2017 15:14:23
well said rutherglen bear i think there must be a little bit more to it as i could see him dropping him to the bench with poor form but not to the unders.

but it could also be a ploy to get him in with the youth before becoming one of the coaches and the media as they always do make the most of it

29 Sep 2017 15:24:20
Kenny Miller will still be at Rangers when Pedro is gone.

Rightfully so as he's served the club with distinction something that could never be said about the soon to be departed manager.

29 Sep 2017 15:08:04
First of all ped pena and herrera are barry white. Secondly its not the first time pedro has spat his dummy and banished players to the u20's.

29 Sep 2017 15:07:27
Pena has been pure keek. Waste of money. He will need to buck up his ideas when a new manager comes in. Kenny isn't the leak, we all know who the grass is.

29 Sep 2017 15:38:37
so we will need to pay ped what 3 mill to get himm off your books with his backroom staff following him .

then pay for a new manager for me it would have to be mcinness.

then we would have to sell his players as managers like to put on their own stamp on the team.

so tell me naz where is all the money coming from?

and tell me u can't see the better quality of the team and i will tell u you my freind are an idiot.
he has replaced the guff with good quality on a low budget and has us a better defensive untit but still needs a window or two to get all the type of players he wants

29 Sep 2017 15:41:27
Who because I don’t?

29 Sep 2017 15:53:32
Of course, the papers may well be making this up. The U20’s were well beaten by Leicester recently and Murty said they needed more experience. Who better to put into that team than Miller to use his experience and enthusiasm to help our future stars. Simple explanation that has been twisted into something else.

29 Sep 2017 17:09:40
Peds

Why is it you have to personally insult people because they don't agree with you? This site is a site where people can come on and express their opinions. If they don't agree with you how does that make them idiots? Is no one allowed to have a different opinion to you? Must we all bow to your wisdom and not have our own opinions Mr Kim Jong-un

29 Sep 2017 12:05:51
Here we go again almost an exact year from the 1st old firm game last season and out club seems to be imploding again. with reports of infighting and callouts between members of out staff and it didn't end well last year. C'mon it's time to pull together and unite against all the people who want to see us gone it's not a time to bicker amongst ourselves. WE ARE RANGERS!

29 Sep 2017 13:52:27
Yes Millar deserves not to be in team as not played well but so has majority of foreign signings so do penna etc be made train with u19s and not 1st team squad surely Kenny deserves better having been good servant to rangers

29 Sep 2017 14:27:52
But he hasn't been banished for his firm it's for leaking dressing room meetings to the press if it's true I'd banish him from Rangers never mind the twenties

29 Sep 2017 12:08:26
I can't understand all of the comparisons between the Le Guen situation and the current one.
Ferguson was 28, our captain, one of the top players in the country, we had just forked out 4.5 million for him the previous season, had many years of top level football left in him and the man act loved Rangers. Was One of the most passionate players we have had in many a year.
Where as Miller is nearly 38, will be gone at the end of the season and hasn't played well for a long time. He might be a model pro as everyone keeps saying but just like most of the team right now, where is the passion? Where is the fight?

One of the most dissapointing moments as a rangers fan over the last few years was watching the first old firm game after we crumbled, under Mcdowall. I had been looking forward to that game for years and we were lucky to get beat 2-0 in a truly awful game of football. To watch the squad laughing, and joking with the Celtic players on the way off the pitch, model pro Lenny included, broke my heart.

We have had a bad start to the season but for everyone who criticised Le Guen for having no passion, how can you honestly slate Pedro for having too much? I have seen more passion and fight from the manager this season than I have seen from the squad in many a year. If the players have a problem with it then simple. get rid of them. We don't need kenny, we need commitment, fight and passion.

If the players lack of professionalism and lack of will to listen, do their job and fight for our club costs the manager his job then it is nothing short of disgraceful.

29 Sep 2017 12:46:31
excellent post.

29 Sep 2017 14:03:36
After Warburton took over, he felt the need to plaster the dressing room with slogans in order to find some passion within the squad. After Pedro took over he actually had to install a set of rules as he said he wanted his rangers team to bleed blue.
Both managers faced ridicule for what many fans called gimmicks. But can you honestly imagine Graeme Sounness or Walter having to remind Richard Gough that a rangers player shouldn't be wearing green football boots?

Something is seriously wrong when a englishman who hasn't lived north of Leicester and a Portuguese man who has managed mainly in Mexico are having to teach professional Scottish football players what it means to play for Glasgow Rangers.

Wallace and Miller have been at the club long enough to take it upon themselfes to be drilling this passion and commitment into the younger players and also the new foreign ones.

Pedro identified this early on and that's why he targeted a core of Scottish players as I imagined he thought they would know the privilege it was to pull on the jersey. If they haven't done this and are showing signs if being happy to just turn up and do the job and not make the effort then no wonder he is going crazy.

29 Sep 2017 11:43:56
Well done pedro for having the balls to drop miller and showing the the squad that no man is bigger than the team if it's true that miller had spat the dummy he deserves all he gets having a team that get on can only benefit us. Having mates in your team will only make us stronger and more determined to do more

29 Sep 2017 15:13:50
Well said. First time poster. Felt I had to comment on the negativity surrounding Rangers from our own supporters. Other side of Glasgow are laughing at us, stand together in Pedro we trust.

29 Sep 2017 11:39:45
So with Kenny being the leak he deserves to be dropped to the reserves, regardless of what he thinks of the manager he shouldn't be doing that. However Pedro still has to go, he's completely lost the dressing room and is not the man to lead us forward as many of us have known for months. His win ratio is the same with us as it has been everywhere else, a bang average manager. Who knows what half the board seen to invest this much in him.

29 Sep 2017 11:57:40
How is kenny the leak? Tell us your knowledge. I don't think miller is the leak but he did play for them before, haha.

29 Sep 2017 11:00:38
so that's ohallran mackay forrester doodoo and now miller getting shiped to the youth the manager has lost it
for me the next manager has got to be someone that has man managment skills to get best out of the players and experiance
sam allardyce or mcinnes would be good choices

29 Sep 2017 11:41:31
ohallaran was a dud and done nothing for us dodoo needs to be out on loan to get game time forrester everyone hated and mckay was not consistant enough miller has been no good this season.

honestly i don't get some people on here the same ones that wants major change to get a better team want all the same players to stay even if they don't actually help us to our goal.

honestly we have thi biggest bunch of moany face bastar*s in this league honestly have a moan that we have these players that do nothing then have a moan because they are being shipped or sent on loan or sent to the youth squad because they have not been doing their own job.

king kenny (who i have nothing but admiration for) has been too busy trying to cover and has run backwards this year more than he has went forward.

trust in pedro and after one "FULL" season and then judge how far he has brought our team and if at the end of we don't see progress then call it a day but not 10 matches into a season we are not going tpo challabnge celtic with ony having spent what we spent i one window . we need to give him another window and option to build a winning team

29 Sep 2017 11:59:37
Peds, you've done a mccoist; we don't do walking away, now your stuck with the bed you made. Your blind if you don't see what the rest of us see, pedro out.

29 Sep 2017 11:58:01
@peds11 - totally agree. We criticise players for not doing the business. They are punted / loaned and they are the greatest thing since sliced bread. Where are same fans now bigging up McKay ( can't get a start for Forest ) or Garner who hasn't scored in 5 games for Ipswich?

Our job as fans is to first and foremost support the team through thick and thin.
If we sack Pedro - how many games do we give the next manager?

29 Sep 2017 13:04:38
fod its not "what the rest of us" think. your poll results clearly showed that

29 Sep 2017 14:09:03
The "rest of you's" are deluded.

29 Sep 2017 16:15:08
fodtheprod you are not the majority
the majority want pedro to stay its the minority that are thick.

its the minority that are impatient.

and its the minority that can't see the manager has done well with very little money.

its the minority that don't want to give players a chance and want nothing but the club to go backwards to square 1.

dont tell me i don't see what the rest of u see whern its you that's a part of the minority.

29 Sep 2017 09:59:32
Right that's it's I'm bloody raging that Kenny Miller has been dropped to the 19,if it's true bye bye Pedro. that tells me the dressing room is split. I've always backed Pedro. I love his passion but he's obviously lost the home grown players. they obviously arn't buying into his training as Celtic looked much fitter 2nd half. I'm just gutted. another wasted season. sack him now and try and get Micheal O'Neill in asap.

29 Sep 2017 10:36:00
I remember posting after the European debacle that I thought the players weren't getting on and there was trouble afoot, as for Kenny Miller he has been a great servant to the club but we don't know the reasons he was disciplined for, I personally think he's not happy about being on the bench but he has to realise that was always going to happen this season.

29 Sep 2017 11:16:05
If miller leaked info to the press he deserves to be dropped

29 Sep 2017 11:43:40
stop believing the newspapers it could be that as he hasn't played well this season he needs to be dropped or that he wants his influence on who he should bring through to the first team.

29 Sep 2017 09:49:28
Shoot me down but didn't i call this days ago? Something has happened for Miller to get not just dropped but "banished to train with the youths". Sour grapes for being dropped and ran to the media. Pedro has found out.

29 Sep 2017 11:45:08
if its true kenny went to the media then he shouldn't be any where near ibrox as we don't exactly have a great relationship with any of them

29 Sep 2017 09:19:54
Carlos Ancelloti spotted at glasgow airport.

29 Sep 2017 09:37:51
It would, of course, help the humour of your post if you were to use the correct name.

29 Sep 2017 10:37:18
Was Carlo selling spaghetti.

29 Sep 2017 09:14:29
I hope Pedrinho turns things around, but I don't think he has a clue what he is doing.

Dropping kenny Miller to the reserves! He is a model pro!

29 Sep 2017 13:13:18
a model pro that kissed the celtic badge, told the manager to eff off when he was subbed, has been rotten all season, sold jack under the bus for his red card against hibs and its that pally with some of that lot he calls them by there nicknames eg "lenny". footballing mercenary that follows the cash and can't handle he isn't the main man anymore. no player is ever bigger than rangers, least of all kenny freakin miller

29 Sep 2017 13:45:22
I'll bet you were cheering when he scored all those goals against Celtic! Short memory mate!

29 Sep 2017 14:09:20
Nah my memory is fine mate haha ;)

Course I cheered those goals, goals that Kenny was paid handsomely to score. Representing our club is a privilege for him, not the other way round.

29 Sep 2017 08:14:26
I think Caixinha has offically just become another Le Guen, singling out the Scottish players for his failings, I can't see him being here past christmas. Personally thought Tommy Wright was the better candidate for us and would be delighted to see him come in.

29 Sep 2017 09:24:59
Exactly someone who knows how to win ugly.

29 Sep 2017 10:39:55
Have plenty of respect for Tommy but I don't think he's up to the Rangers job but I might be proven wrong time will tell.

29 Sep 2017 11:48:32
honestly if tommy wright gets pedros job then we are in big trouble. if we do end up sacking pedro (i think would be a mistake)
then only one man for the job and that is derek mccinnes

29 Sep 2017 07:36:09
For me Dorrans, Pena, Alves, Morelos, Jack and Candeias are all better players than we had last season. Pedro should be giving the season to get these players to gel and if he does and is giving another 8-10 million next summer and brings in four 2.5/ 2 million pound players then Rangers will have a team to reckon with. I know there's a couple of big ifs there but we need to support and trust the manager.

29 Sep 2017 09:04:41
Saying kenny miller banished to play with u19,s play no further part under caxhina is this paper bull or beginning of the end of his reign

29 Sep 2017 09:16:00
Give pedro another 8-10mil, are you joking! This clown needs sacked. He wasted 5mil on two useless mexicans.

29 Sep 2017 09:32:39
Stewartyg65

Paper bull or the end of his reign?

I'll go for the second option.

Bye bye pedro.

29 Sep 2017 09:53:07
Asked a question naz if true kenny is a model pro I think he's reign could come to end so I agree

29 Sep 2017 09:46:20
Pedro will be off shortly, no chance he's getting the chance to buy 4 more players with a 10 million kitty.

29 Sep 2017 10:43:36
If Pedro survives to the January window he could strengthen the team markedly by signing up capable players on pre contracts and it would cost nothing but wages but will he have that luxury.

29 Sep 2017 11:47:05
Please go pedro, you've lost it

29 Sep 2017 11:54:53
three players i say would help put us above the rest is moult walker and i'd get another right back to challange for tavs place a more defensive minded one

29 Sep 2017 11:54:10
Model pro? But it's fine for him to run to the Daily Rebel, and Keek Jackson with stories? I much rather have have a man with principles like Pedro over him any day of the week.

29 Sep 2017 06:15:15
I can't believe the rubbish written this week about PC. What's the world coming to when a manager can't give his team a bollocking for under performing? Did Ferguson give his team the hairdryer or a kiss and cuddle? Its ridiculous, the DR have a vendetta and they are twisting everything he says. I'm fed up with them flouting everyone's small passive comment up into what the call "scathing attack" or "brutal analysis" just for headlines, they are an embarrassing publication. Maybe PC is as shocked as we are at how the team are struggling? Let's all be honest on paper it looked brilliant, who was excited at the names coming in this summer? I know I was. So he's dropping Miller? Good, he's now showing his age he's been useless this season, all we need now is to put all our efforts into finding a number 10 or let Dorrans have a go there, we aren't that far off it really is a confidence issue now they all know they're under the cosh and it's showing on the field. Another thing I would like to see is Tav and John as wingers, I read somewhere that young Ross can play at L or R back so let him and push Tav up, he's a midfielder and so is John, I want to see a solid back 4 of defenders, attack minded players would be better off in the opponents half.

29 Sep 2017 06:51:10
Matt rfc. While I agree with your comments entirely I now think that pedro is on borrowed time. Iv been in here calling for everyone to get round the team and support him I think this latest bust up with Miller is now going to be the beginning of the end for PC. Miller has been a devoted servant to the club over three parts of his career and has covered every blade of grass in every game he has featured in and if he is going to single out KM for punishment it will cause a divide among players and fans ( including myself) who hoped that Miller would stay on and become a coach to the younger players.

29 Sep 2017 07:04:42
Totally agree with you about the vile media they have an agenda against our club!

29 Sep 2017 07:43:37
James 2016 KM has been a great servent for our club! BUT he is not doing it now and that's what we should be focusing on is now the manager is PC and he should be allowed to manage if you have guys undermining you because they don't agree with there methods then that's there problem and deserve to be dropped no matter who it is!

29 Sep 2017 08:54:49
Makes me laugh this for weeks I've read on here Millar should be dropped he's finished then he's dropped it's get the manager out for me he's been poor he hasn't played well all season and (if and it is if as I'm not privy to what goes on in the dressing room) he has been telling tales he has to be dealt with it happened before with La Guen where Boyd and Ferguson and their side kicks thought they could run the show that's not how it works I worked with a few bosses I didn't particularly like but I got the job done the club comes first so I'm all for the manager doing his job it's when he backs away from a problem you have a problem so I haven't changed my mind end of season I'll look and see where we are but the team and fans need to be behind the manager he gets enough crap of the media without us throwing our lot in he was left with an absolute crap team by MW and it will take time to sort it out

29 Sep 2017 09:08:41
CD Ranger

What have the media said that you find so vile?

29 Sep 2017 08:27:23
CD I can't disagree with your comments on millers form as it hasn't been great and I'm sure he would be the first to say so. But all of this has the hallmarks of PLG and Ferguson and look how that turned out.

29 Sep 2017 08:41:15
CD Ranger

Who are the guys who are undermining the manager and what did they do?

29 Sep 2017 09:30:16
Are you being serious mate the manager is clueless! Who plays three strikers against this Celtic team?

29 Sep 2017 09:47:44
Sparky 1320

I forgot to add in my statement imo or in my option. do you have 1? I am surprised you never picked up on my spelling mistakes also!

29 Sep 2017 11:00:29
matt: "Let's all be honest on paper it looked brilliant"

So do you not then think that the manager is the problem?

29 Sep 2017 12:59:12
No I think mangers take the stick as they are the lead figure, and our media are jumping on the bandwagon for a story. Apart from the Celtic game we played well enough in every league and league cup game to win each game, we've had some silly mistakes at the back and it's not PCs fault, if you bring in a European championship winner who still gets in that team you expect him to stroll the SPL and command the box as we all thought he would. If we sort it out at the back the goals will take care of themselves and we will win more. I don't think he can do a lot more as a manager, it's not his fault his other targets didn't sign
