Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

02 Apr 2016 22:51:33
----we were pretty bad today on a pretty bad surface but not the end of the world as ibrox will rock on Tuesday and a bigger crowd will also attend obviously. pesonally I think celtic will wipe the floor with us as our defence is awfull. yes ill take slack for that but just my take. -----the one positive is we play at hampden prior to the big game so let's wait n see. waghorn back would be a plus methinks. ---- we need 6 new players for the premier and that includes a goalie. and yes the managers changes are a liability.

02 Apr 2016 23:05:31
I agree, as much as I was confident a few weeks ago, I don't see us beating them.

02 Apr 2016 23:21:17
Waghorn won't be back for that game. It would be madness to pitch him into a game like that having not played for 2 months.

02 Apr 2016 23:53:37
As long as we don't lie down for them and make it a real game I'll be happy.

An improvement on the last time wouldn't be hard, just get a shot on target!

Biffo316, I agree about Waghorn as I don't think he would be match fit and that's a shame.

03 Apr 2016 00:07:24
A think we need to sort out losing goals as we r ok up front. The defence needs a lot of work. A think we can give celtic problems but can't rely on defence to stop them.

03 Apr 2016 00:10:28
yeah you could be right biffo, but heavens we need someone to shake them up and I don't really see anyone .

03 Apr 2016 08:42:01
Deecee

Agreed but you can't expect a guy who has been out for that length of time to play in an old firm game.

03 Apr 2016 09:01:11
Play against Celtic the way we did against Dundee and ill be happy no matter the outcome tbh, dnt forget this isn't the exact same squad of players that will be playing Celtic atleast 4 times next season, so i'm very happy tbh, mon eh gers *****.

03 Apr 2016 11:46:10
We might reduce the goals we are conceding but we need to get used to the fact that this is a feature of Warbs style of play, with full backs spending more time in opposition halves. We will never "shut the back door". That won't change regardless of the opposition and even if the middle pairing change. A quality defensive midfielder should make a big difference. Crooks is 6ft 5 that should help the panic attacks at cross balls next season.

02 Apr 2016 22:35:10
Hoping that these last three games are just a blip; we'll win promotion on Tuesday and beat Peterhead securing a second title on the 10th.

That would fill the team with more confidence than they carried into the cup game against Dundee.

Looking forward to see what happens during the summer transfer window as well.

Still a very positive season overall, even if a wee embarrassing at times with results like today.

02 Apr 2016 23:22:00
It's going to be a long 90 mins against Celtic.

02 Apr 2016 23:55:51
A second title?

03 Apr 2016 09:28:06
If we play to our best with 100% concentration at the back and our quick 1 or 2 touch attacking I honestly believe we'll do a job on the eastenders, having seen bits of their game yesterday Hearts could and should of gone in at half time ahead, a mix of woeful finishing and bad luck prevented that, but Hearts slick passing had their defence at sixes and sevens at times and I think we move the ball about better than Hearts, can't wait to stick one right up them. Mon the Gers.

02 Apr 2016 22:11:23
Last three games we have conceded 9 goals and scored 9, partly due to slack defending and substitutions made when
we have been in control of the game especially v Falkirk.
Ball was brought on loan as a CB so why don't we start him against Dumbarton as complacency could be a problem as Kiernan and Wilson are guaranteed to be in the starting 11.
I would consider playing Law as he gives us an option offensively and defensively.
Next up Dumbarton.

02 Apr 2016 22:03:00
Comon guys for once let's just enjoy our moment. cup final too look forward too. that other team from glasgow running scared in semis. league nearly wrapped up. ohhh and newcastle looking like they going down. best times in a few years i'd say. mw got a vision for us which is working.1 transfer window in and objective complete. let's judge him and the team end of next season but so far. magic hats off to u mw an dw. take a bow and well done.

02 Apr 2016 23:00:37
I disagree about the other mob running scared, I think they may have seen our last three matches unfortunately.

But I definitely agree with the rest of your post davie1980.

02 Apr 2016 23:24:04
Davie1980

Do you honestly believe there running scared? If I were one of their forwards I would be licking my lips at the prospect of facing that defence. I fear a very long 90 mins against them and they won't just settle for 2-0 like last time.

02 Apr 2016 23:49:44
Biffo316, it will be a much better game than last time. We at least have attacking players who are capable of scoring against decent teams.

Hopefully it's a much tighter defence though!

03 Apr 2016 09:59:47
I'm hoping that the sense of occasion will give the defenders a lift. Maybe the fact that we are getting back to the big time where we can again compete with them (I wouldn't count the last meeting as we were a total shambles, lucky to get away with 2-0) . To be fair we have risen to the occasion a few times this season when the chips have been down (Hibs, Dundee and Kilmarnock) . We are going to win the division in a stroll, win a cup and have a real chance of winning a bigger cup. Who wouldn't have taken that at the start of the season? And I think we may have a couple of aces up our sleeve for them. Harry and Andy look like big game players (remember Bradford v Chelsea) and Kenny Miller has proved to be a right thorn in their flesh in the past. And remember they are no great shakes defensively either. Sviatchenko is slower than any of our players and is often dug out of a hole by Boyata who himself is prone to regular howlers. I think the likes of Harry, wee Holt and Barrie McKay can really trouble their rearguard. Keep believing!

03 Apr 2016 11:37:27
The Seeker: Correct, we will be a different proposition for them, and we will give them problems because of that, it's just a question of seeing how it goes, as long as they do themselves justice which I think they will.

02 Apr 2016 21:17:34
Their is an age old saying if it's not broke don't try and fix it, best players off again this week, bad subs on and defenders get 90 min as usual Why should have shut the door, never been the same since Semi Final draw think we're being distracted by that!

02 Apr 2016 21:41:50
Great post mate. Hope u r rite because it means we wil sort ourselves out for celtic game. Don't think so tho ado think we've done the main job and back to WER we belong.

02 Apr 2016 20:14:07
I remember the scariest site as Rangers fan was watching Kenny Dalglish running at our defence. Today it's watching Warburton asking one of his subs to warm up.

02 Apr 2016 21:43:51
If u r as old as me and remember dalglish then why wipe out the last 4 years. We r back.

02 Apr 2016 19:42:01
Was visiting my Dad in the care home today and we were watching the results show and he said you don't hear much about Celtic these days do you? How right he is.

02 Apr 2016 19:51:36
Scotjo to be fair though, anything good that happens at celtic is overshadowed by media witch hunt to get Deila. Then across the other side of Glasgow, your team usually dominates headlines with either King or Ashley.

02 Apr 2016 21:42:37
The only good thing out of Celtic this year is tierney and the media haven't shut up about him.

02 Apr 2016 22:08:37
SeaOfIbroke or fact we are going to win double.

02 Apr 2016 23:45:11
DN30. U should no better. Never count your chickens. Celtic first half against hearts are well beatable. Second half a different team. If hearts took their chances first half could celtic come back. ?

03 Apr 2016 00:56:16
Boydy69 but that's football for u, games like that happen. Yous must of been thinking the same today against Raith.

03 Apr 2016 09:17:35
As much as I think we will win league on Tuesday and win Petrofac cup at the weekend i'm still concerned about our defence. Although we have scored 114 goals this season, i'm wary about Celtic game, we must go with Ball, alongside Wilson and Kiernan to stand a chance, and keep them on the park for the entire game.
Re the goalkeeper i'm not convinced, for by his howler
against Motherwell, is Cammy Bell any worse than Foderingham maybe worth another shot.

02 Apr 2016 18:31:12
that's now 11 goals lost in 4 games. no matter what he says, Warbs has to step up to the plate and explain, because it just ain't good enough.
My personal view at the minute, is that by bringing on subs roughly an hour into each match, it is disrupting the team. Albeit, the defence and keeper are NOT ready for the SPL so we MUST address this and slam the door shut at the back.

02 Apr 2016 18:46:00
I agree Bill. The substitution policy I feel is wrong, why change it for changes sake? That's what has cost us in the last games. Celtic will run amok should we play like that.

02 Apr 2016 18:46:24
Its nothing 2 do with the hour mark as we were 2-2 at half time.

02 Apr 2016 18:52:21
We were 3-2 by the hour mark.

02 Apr 2016 19:43:09
Hallett1 and Scotio - and AFTER going up 3-2 we lost our way and the substitutions came after that too, so I DO think it had an influence on how we played.
By allmeans use subs for tired or injured but NOT for changes sake.

02 Apr 2016 19:54:07
The subs have worked up fine mostly all season it's not their fault we conceded two in the first half.

02 Apr 2016 20:07:09
Wee Bill: That's what I mean.

02 Apr 2016 20:31:12
I said on the match day chat that the defence was shocking however the substitutions seem to be having an negative impact on the team of late. Ball should have come on instead of shields and Law instead of the Arsenal boy. Law looked good during weeks we never concealed but ain't getting a look in now.

Wilson ain't good enough and too slow. Tav is great going forward but not too convincing defending

Peterhead won't be beat easy but we should win and score a few but the manky mob seem to be hitting form with key players up top so our defence need to get a grip and Warburton needs to start dropping poor performers.

02 Apr 2016 21:22:53
This may seem controvential but our aim was to get back into the Premiership for season 2016-17. Although not official as yet, will be after Tuesday night, it seems like we have done what is expected and NEEDED. The Petrofac cup will be a bonus if we win and also the semi against the other Glasgow team is also a bonus. Plenty more of them will be coming soon enough.
What I don't feel good at is the conceding of so many goals by our team. As Miller said on his post match interview, it's a team job to defend and not just goalkeeper and defenders. Each person will have a view on who's at fault, who's good enough for next season etc etc. I just hope W&W are addressing these issues of the team right now and not holding out for 'we'll score more than you so don't worry to much about defending'. Improvement IS required as a team to stop conceding goals especially as we are only in the Championship leaking these goals. Roll on the new players and new fixtures to the Champs.

03 Apr 2016 08:23:34
Wee bill we shouldn't be loseing 2 or 3 goals 2 teams like raith.

02 Apr 2016 18:22:57
Well done to our strikers again but our defence is shocking.

02 Apr 2016 18:20:25
Think when we play celtic warburton will have to keep our best eleven on the park no substitutions on the hour mark for the sake of it. Past few games subs have come on and we've lost our focus and flow.

02 Apr 2016 18:39:22
I would hope that he would "learn from this" and keep the strongest players on and not make changes unless they are required for fatigue or injuries etc.

02 Apr 2016 19:50:36
Btw the players we had on our bench today against Raith will not even be here next season, and don't forget we will have a much stronger Team for next season i gaurentee that, so dnt worry about the Defence for next season People, it'll be sorted.

02 Apr 2016 18:14:38
Said weeks ago that mob across the city will murder as with our defence. . at this rate Peterhead won't be a push over. . let's put league to bed on Tuesday without concening a goal and put on a great display onwards and upwards.

02 Apr 2016 18:53:29
Yes, we'll probably struggle against Peterhead.

02 Apr 2016 19:19:37
Dreadful negativity on recent posts - struggle against Peterhead - really?
How about just seeing how things develop over summer - some people have very short memories, cup half full here.

02 Apr 2016 19:34:49
It's nothing to do with short memories, or do you just write off the form of the past few matches?

02 Apr 2016 20:01:13
Lian got to agree with you mate, though ee have lost a few goals of late i think people should think back to this time last season where we were more concerned in making the play offs, even if we lose to celtic in the semi we are going up to top league and m. w. will bring in players to shore up our defence, ime just glad we will be back in top league.

02 Apr 2016 19:53:47
queen of the south and falkirks first goals were wild swipes that could have went anywhere but they landed in the net falkirks winner and queen of the south second goal were a good few gers defenders standing ball watching and shouldn't have happened.

02 Apr 2016 17:57:01
The strikers need to finish teams off because the defence isn't to be trusted at the moment, that hasn't happened.

02 Apr 2016 17:26:25
Interesting you are now fearful/ grounded about the semi final now.
Also interesting its all the defenders fault you lose 3 goals a game.
Wud you not blame the manager for the way he constructs his team or is he faultless.

02 Apr 2016 17:43:59
What does annoy me about the manager is his quote " we need to learn from that" each time we have lost 3 goals. It's clear we aren't learning from this.

02 Apr 2016 18:05:48
Rayman i'm surprised your not blaming Deila for their problems as well lol.

02 Apr 2016 18:16:39
To be fair DN he reminds me of RD he doesn't learn from mistakes lol.

02 Apr 2016 18:31:21
The quote is getting a bit annoying and there must be a lot of learning going on. Not that they're doing anything with what they've learned. For my penny's worth I think Ball is our best central defender and Law should be getting game time. I can only think Warburton sees something better in Shiels in training to make any sense of some of the substitutions going on. They're doing a good job of sucking all the joy out of winning this league, I'll give them that.

02 Apr 2016 20:32:38
"Plan b is to do plan a better" makes me cringe. Every team needs a plan b.

02 Apr 2016 21:11:06
Shiels is terrible and shouldn't be anywhere near the team. Thankfully we only have a handful of games left that we have to suffer him.

02 Apr 2016 17:12:02
We have no experience through the centre of the park defensively.

Kiernan, Wilson, Halliday and Ball.

Crooks being added to the equation. Will reserve judgement there, expect him to give us more of the same.

Need an experienced head in the centre of defence or in holding midfeild.

Think we'd have sorted that out at the start, given who our Assistant Manager is.

02 Apr 2016 17:22:04
Think we'll go a game without conceding 3?

02 Apr 2016 17:29:29
Doubt we'll keep a clean sheet between now and the end of the season.

Conceding another three in a game though. Don't think so.

Could of been more than four against today.

Defence is far from top three next season. This needs sorted for sure.

02 Apr 2016 17:37:51
Thank goodness the league is already won. Only highlights that much work lies ahead to make the step up next season.

02 Apr 2016 17:45:45
When will Warbs wake up to the fact Law when played adds some savvy to the middle of the midfield. 9 goals in 3 games is a problem a serious one.

02 Apr 2016 17:46:06
Results in this league are completely unpredictable.

Same in the top division. Can name one team who is slightly (just barely) more consistent than the rest though. Think we know their name.

02 Apr 2016 17:52:09
The doc: Law does add solidity to midfield and we should have had him for the past couple of weeks at some points anyway.

02 Apr 2016 17:56:18
It will be sorted lads, just wait til Summer Transfer window, our weak points will be sorted for sure,

02 Apr 2016 17:11:17
Yes - another disappointing game!

Looks like we are going to limp over the line - despite the words of Warburton - and end the season in a disappointing manner!

Not looking forward to Celtic match - "just another game" - hope not!

Things aren't looking so bright now!

02 Apr 2016 17:05:27
No problems scoring goals but signings for next season.

Defender, Defender and Defender. And a real holding midfield player who is able to defend and can protect said DEFENDERS!

02 Apr 2016 17:13:29
Agreed, rubbish defending again 2day.9 goals in 3 games, really hate to say it but that mob from across the city will crucify us if we defend like that in the semi final! anyway, title party on Tuesday night!

02 Apr 2016 17:19:27
You hope.

02 Apr 2016 17:20:29
Aye very worrying. That's nine goals shipped in 3 games with an injury time goal lost in each. The forwards are doing their jobs but the guys at the back just can't keep a clean sheet. You have to think this will give them a massive boost for the SF. What I'd give for Goram, Gough and Butcher right now!

02 Apr 2016 17:20:41
Our full backs are great and go forward at every opportunity. Isn't a problem when we score one more goal than the opposition or grab five.

When it comes to better teams than Falkirk, Queen of the South and Raith Rovers, doubt we'll be able to hit more than two or three on a regular basis.

That's where the triangle of CBs and CDM has to be secure. Our defensive three at the moment certainly isn't secure.

02 Apr 2016 17:04:20
That defence needs cleared out, absolutely shocking, Warburton showing his lack of experience when it comes to signing players, sometimes you need an old head to steady the ship, youth isn't always the answer.

02 Apr 2016 17:12:44
He tried getting John Eustace in.

02 Apr 2016 17:19:15
Rafbob

He isn't only experienced player Warburton could have went for.

02 Apr 2016 17:20:37
And your point - Rafbob given what's happening at Leeds?

02 Apr 2016 17:59:11
Hopefully He Signs Liam Bridcutt For A Start, What A Cdm He Would Be For Us.

02 Apr 2016 18:21:27
Ranger57- I think you're thinking of diagouraga who went to Leeds.

My point was that Warburton sees the requirement for a steady D. M with experience.

02 Apr 2016 18:22:59
Biffo316, couldn't agree more. I think that should be the priority for summer signings.

02 Apr 2016 16:55:33
What a joke 9 goals in 3 games. we have no chance against celtic in a few weeks if teams like our last 3 game can score 3 each. makes you think how many they can score against us.

02 Apr 2016 17:05:20
Shocking defensively and all against very average teams. God knows what Celtic could do to that defence total shambles.

02 Apr 2016 17:08:27
MW must get things sorted out quickly, we will scramble over the line for promotion, we should have enough to beat Peterhead, but as far as the Celtic game goes, we could end up humbled.

02 Apr 2016 16:53:06
9 goals lost in 3 games - as we surrender league in 94th minute!

Time to look at goalie?

02 Apr 2016 16:55:32
keeper and defence.

02 Apr 2016 17:03:24
Put bell back in goals.

02 Apr 2016 17:13:27
Hallet1, too far mate!

02 Apr 2016 17:50:00
Rafbob can't be as bad as the joke we have in goals just now. I can't mind bell conceding 9 goals in 3 games and look at the defence he had.

02 Apr 2016 18:27:13
Hallet1, I see where you're coming from but Bell conceded 6 in two games that really mattered and I think he would have lost us a few important games this season as well.

02 Apr 2016 18:54:09
I disagree rafbob wf has cost us a lot this season league could hav been won by now if it wasnt for him i think. Just look at his throw outs or his we passes just outside the box's and he don't think b4 he acts.

02 Apr 2016 19:26:49
He was a proper bomb scare to start but has improved a great deal. Bell is definitely not the answer though.

Another keeper would be an option in the summer. In the meantime Liam Kelly is still improving.

02 Apr 2016 16:52:51
rubbish again.

02 Apr 2016 17:33:47
how can 2 people on hear disagree with me saying tht was rubbish again. teams like raith we should beat no problem regardless of them been playing good it's raith. even tho celtic are pish a was very confident after the dundee game but now we could b in trouble. the football is great at times to watch but a new formation is a must for me. getting found out at the back to easy with championship teams.

02 Apr 2016 18:23:40
Maybe it's because some won't have any criticism at all no matter what or maybe they are just loving all the goals.

02 Apr 2016 18:28:54
Bigcog, don't pay attention to the agree/ disagree it's usually button smackers that disagree on valid opinions.

02 Apr 2016 15:59:12
2 goals list by halftime 8 in 2 and 1/ 2 games!

Either we very unlucky losing so many "wonder" goals or we can't defend.

Either does bode well for cup matches coming up - never-mind winning this league in style!

02 Apr 2016 16:25:34
Have always said that the keeper is suspect, last week's goals were a prime example.

02 Apr 2016 16:53:42
Wanted 1 keeper and 4 defenders apply to Rangers FC before start of next season. Pathetic.

02 Apr 2016 15:08:35
If we win the league the day are they opening ibrox to celebrate with our players when they come back the night.

02 Apr 2016
The real time live chat page is open for today's Rangers match at the below link for you to talk to each other during the match

02 Apr 2016 10:18:18
My dream Rangers shopping list for the summer;

John Terry
Mikel Arteta
Kyle Bartley
Sam Bradshaw
Garth McAuley
Tim Cahill
Ryan Gauld

So I'll wake up now lol.

02 Apr 2016 10:23:08
Would take

Arteta
John terry
Ryan gauld
Gareth McCauley

As for the
Other 2 no thanks.

02 Apr 2016 10:39:47
Vladamir Weiss would do for me.

02 Apr 2016 10:45:24
He's in contract with new club in the uae google it and you will see I would have the Wee man any day of the week.

02 Apr 2016 11:18:06
By Sam Bradshaw do you mean Tom Bradshaw from Walsall and not the American quarter back.

02 Apr 2016 11:46:18
Saw that southside, prob earning a fortune in qatar too.

02 Apr 2016 11:51:31
Ryan Gauld is looking for game time as well.

02 Apr 2016 12:00:29
I would take gauld.

02 Apr 2016 13:37:40
Terry and mcauley would be the slowest pairing in the history of football.

02 Apr 2016 16:04:00
Ive said before on this, but we should defo sign Liam Bridcutt in summer, come on Mark Warburton do what u can to sign this lad honestly.

02 Apr 2016 14:55:37
Cee, would you agree that big davie weir wasn't very fast when he played with us in the twilight of his career? Yes any bear would but he read the game superbly and was solid all round and tremendous in the air, so I honestly don't know where some fellow rangers fans are coming from when they say they wouldn't want us to sign john terry because he's too slow, big JT is 35 years old and would play with ease in the spfl premiership next season and beyond up until he's 40 years old, remember jt is even 2 years younger than what davie weir was when walter smith signed him, to say the rest is history is an understatement, I would love us to sign by JT but I honestly can't see it, he'll stay in england or go to america.

02 Apr 2016 10:01:59
Hi I am putting a personal post for ivlarkgrham mate u came on here yesterday and posted about not being able to make it so as I have stated on previous posts I will be very grateful if you could reply to my post ed as stated before please help a bear out thanks.

02 Apr 2016 12:54:23
I wouldn't hold my breath is was the 1st of April yesterday.

02 Apr 2016 13:57:24
That doesn't matter the guys genuine he been posting on here for years.

02 Apr 2016 14:38:26
I'm not having a go, I hope you get the tickets.

02 Apr 2016 09:12:26
Anyone else hope both rangers and hibs win today? That way Tues night at ibrox will be rocking. I know we want the league won as soon as but I would love to win it at ibrox on tues. Ibrox would be packed, atmosphere etc. Great night. So c'mon hibs don't let us down.

02 Apr 2016 09:27:09
Coldo. I disagree. Being totally selfish I've taken St Mirren 5/ 1 and Hearts 10/ 1 as a win double today! I'm sure we'll win the league by Tuesday whatever happens. Happy days are here again!

02 Apr 2016 09:40:21
Took hearts myself, great price. Obv would be great to win the league today but going for a few beers before going to ibrox on tues would be magic. I'm being selfish but hey sometimes we have to be.

02 Apr 2016 10:01:47
Sounds like Tuesday will be special. Unfortunately I live 450 miles away in Sussex!

02 Apr 2016 10:20:51
I'm in the same boat with you Doiger, live in Oxfordshire and no chance of time off for the games this month!

02 Apr 2016 12:01:23
Isn't there a really bad flu going about in Oxford at the moment. Sickness bugs also rife at this time of year. Just an idea.

02 Apr 2016 12:46:53
I am just getting over a bout, passed it to the wife and kids and I'm getting back into phys now!

Good morning fellow bears, let's hope today is the day we end up back where we belong, personally I've enjoyed the journey through the lower leagues, it's been a change visiting grounds I've not been to and making new memories along the way. Along that road we as fans have created new records for attendances not just at Ibrox but for the smaller clubs of Scotland and we have made lots of new friends. All across the country we were the only show in town, although I was born in England, by dad was Scottish and from the moment I could walk and talk I've always been a Ranger and will be to the day I die, but I've never been more proud to be one than seeing the way the fans have stuck by this great club, Rangers needed us and we rallied, each and every one of you deserves a huge pat on the back, i know you will all be as proud as I am. I would also like to give a mention to our captain Lee Wallace, " thank you lee you have shown what it is to be a true Glasgow Rangers captain". Let's all continue to enjoy the journey Then, Now, and Forever.

I agree with everything you have said English Bear. People can laugh all they want but it has been a fantastic journey. Last year was hard to take but it's worked out for the best, we ended up with the management team and board we need to take us forward.
The fans have been out of this world with their support and I honestly don't think there is another team on the planet with fans as loyal. Other teams may claim it but we have proved it.
Somebody laughed at me for saying Lee Wallace is a legend in the making but I stand by that comment. And when he lifts 55 he will have cemented that fact.

Re Andy Goram's suggestion that Rangers should go for John Terry, and talk of the amount of
money he would want, got me thinking when Frank de Boer offered his services to Rangers a few years back he only asked for 5K a week as nearing the end of his career and wanting to play along side Ronald. It maybe worth testing the water, as JT is well off and might fancy a last hurrah at Ibrox. Is it a pipe dream, if not what a coup it would be.

Ive got to admit i must be one of the few that says even of he played for free i wouldn't want him bad news always follows him and his attitude off the park as a person, great player yeah but just can't see mw wanting to bring him in, i can see the attraction to bring him in especially with sponsers etc but not for me.

His comment was made on April 1st. That's self explanatory.

I think JT has made a lot of mistakes in his career but his professionalism on the park is second to none. He must train well also to be playing like he has been for so many years. I would take him in a heartbeat. He's been the best defender in the EPL for years.
At his stage in his career the idea of 4 Old Firm games next year could have a massive draw. Let's face it he must be loaded. And he's a proper football man, sometimes that counts for more than cash.

No argument that he is a great defender, one of England's best ever. But the guy is poison and a racist, wouldn't touch him even if we could afford him.

I don't think for a second that we'll be signing big john terry but what a tremendous signing it would be if we could, jt could easily play up here for another 3/ 4 years as he's only 35 years old just now and we've got to remember how good davie weir was for us and we didn't sign him until he was 37 years old, it would be a terrific coup and would be very beneficial to our club as a whole and to the centre half that would be playing beside him, his experience would rub off throughout the whole team, he's also a solid, no nonsense centre half which I like one of the pairing centre halfs to be.
