i hope everyone realises that "wonder boy"Moralos apart from missing several sitters, has only cored three goals in two months. The £11 million is now looking more and more like a HUGE mistake.

02 Apr 2018 20:21:26
And who actually believes there was an 11 million pounds offer for him?

02 Apr 2018 21:30:22
ritchie2, if he scores in the semi final we will all be calling the boy a hero.

02 Apr 2018 21:42:10
pontless comment goalie, most of the trash on here is make believe, but the player himself admitted it this week, unless of course he has a contract with the DR? the point is, he is NOT scoring which is what he is paid to do.

02 Apr 2018 22:24:02
Bankie

Maybe maybe not. If he scores the winner then yes but if he scores while we are 3-0 down then no

02 Apr 2018 22:37:10
I don't recall Morelos saying that a chinese club offered 11 million for him.

He merely said that he was told that a chinese club had put a bid in for him and that the club who done so were not the one mentioned in the press. So the question is who told him and what evidence did they show him?

By the way, this is not concrete evidence of a bid being made and is certainly not evidence of the bid being 11 million, if it was made, which I am highly sceptical off.

Let's be honest here, with the financial position Rangers are currently in, they would be off their rocker to knock back a bid of this magnitude.

For instance that fee would have meant that Rangers would have actually made a profit this season, they would not have needed soft loans from Dave King and they would not have needed a 3 million secured loan from Close Brothers. Not only that they would have been able to buy a replacement and still have change left over.

02 Apr 2018 22:38:09
He admitted a bus but by a different team is what I heard.

03 Apr 2018 00:30:57
Yes scoring wise he has dropped a bit but take the game on Sat he didn’t get any service maybe in final minute he should have squared the ball but you have to crate chances for strikers to score and we haven’t been doing that but his work rate is great he is in the defences faced for 90mins of every game and he is a must against Celtic

03 Apr 2018 06:04:23
Morelos brings much more than just goals to the team. He pulls oppositions full back line all over the place. He’s got good pace, very strong and doesn’t lack in work rate. Can’t wven remember Morelos being given any half decent service on Saturday, he was creating more gab was being created for him!

You are looking at the wrong end of the pitch, it’s our defence that’s the problem, a look at the goal scored and goals conceded will show you that. We have the best attack in the league in terms on goals scored and assists. Oh and btw, Morelos is still 2nd top goalscorer in the league, then it’s Windass in third. Our defence is rank rotten and that’s why we’ve fallen out of any sort of challenge.

03 Apr 2018 07:44:29
Agree with you 100% bearmode. Morelos is our top scorer and his overall contribution is 2nd to none he assists 2nd assists creates opertunitys out of nothing by scrapping away and as jj said he's young in a new country 1st season if it was a boy from the academy people wouldn't be on his back so much. Our defence is shocking and we've no DM, what succeful club doesn't have a DM, jack injured and McCrorie was doing well there b4 he was injured. Hopefully he'll be back in DM or CB sooner rather than later

03 Apr 2018 09:07:41
Correct all people see is the miss against Celtic but he is a thorn to any defence creating gaps for others to run into there is a clamber to get Cummings into the team lord knows why he hasn’t impressed me I know he hasn't been given a great deal of game time but for me there is a reason for that and it’s that Morelos brings more to the team

03 Apr 2018 12:50:14
Morelos is tidy enough but I don't believe he is remotely near a ten million pounds worth player. Yen maybe.

I believe there was interest from China but that it was all inflated by PR dept at Ibrox. Just as other clubs like them across the city have done with Dembele.

03 Apr 2018 14:17:46
geromino, remember that is only your opinion, i don't like saying this because it makes me cringe but if you sold both of them now dembele would be worth a lot more,

03 Apr 2018 22:09:23
Morelos is not worth £10million just as Dembele is not worth £25million. Let’s be honest here, take any speculation about what a team in China may or may not ask and get to European transfer values. Morelos maybe may go to a Championship side or lower prem side for £5 mill max. Dembele May go for £12mill as he is a French under 21 international and is scoring well when he turns out for France but no one is paying more than that for either player. Now don’t start talking about Morelos causing all sorts of problems for defences. He is not scoring, Rangers are 3rd in the table and Hibs are 1point behind, so he needs to start scoring pretty quick because right now 3rd is best Rangers can hope for and it may be worse so don’t talk Morelos up when Rangers are going backwards.

02 Apr 2018 16:18:23
Danny Wilson is rank rotten, sooner we offload morelos, windass from our starting 11 and get an experienced manager in the better. Morelos I'd gladly take my money back, windass bags of potential but no bottle, murts tactically inexperienced. Were not far away from being league challengers but these things need to change. Danny Wilson lol never in a million years though.

02 Apr 2018 17:48:24
what a wind up post your name tag says it all, i might change mine to prodanny

03 Apr 2018 23:09:35
My name tag? Did your wee sister choose yours, and how can u argue that morelos isn't worth more than a mil, windass is rank 99% of every game, danny Wilson is that horrific he couldn't get in the scotland fold and murts is now found out he hasn't the experience to take a job this big

02 Apr 2018 12:37:12
Here's a question for all Bears, if we were to introduce safe standing at Ibrox where should it be situated bearing in mind the % of the ground occupied by season ticket holders.

02 Apr 2018 13:24:38
Probably safe standing at ibrox would be best placed in the east enclosure or the copland/ sandy jardine stand joining corner (front)!

02 Apr 2018 16:30:19
Sandy Jardine front

02 Apr 2018 21:22:41
its cost celtic 750k money we can't waste

02 Apr 2018 22:01:13
Car park?

03 Apr 2018 08:54:19
A would put it in the govan west so it was visable on tv and put the union bears there and put the away fans in the west enclosure right in the corner out of view of tv cameras celtic fans included

03 Apr 2018 17:07:33
Thats a good suggestion SM99 it ticks a lot of boxes.

04 Apr 2018 16:33:18
Jyf seems the best option to me plus the manky mob get a certain amount of tickets but don't say where we can seat them put all away fans out the way so many time we've had a packed stadium with a big empty section because of the away fans and having union bears in there keeps the family stand for families and the ub on camera on games more

02 Apr 2018 11:52:31
First time poster. Hi all. Just seen pardews left west brom i'm not for 1 min saying i would like him as nxt manager and i don't really have a clue as to who could get us out this rut at present honestly feel we have too many players who are just not cut out for playing for a team with the esteem and expectation our great club requires.

02 Apr 2018 12:06:34
No thanks

02 Apr 2018 12:13:05
Like i said don't want him myself just making conversation.

02 Apr 2018 12:33:52
He has a pretty bad reputation apparently. When he was at Southampton he apparently slept with a team members GF. I think the only place he has had relative success was with Newcastle and his French contingent. Who do you think is not cut out to make it DB?

02 Apr 2018 13:21:03
Imho i would get shot of martin and cardoso. Alves i'm not sure of wins fair amount of headers. Tavs good going fwd but still lacking defensively although he has improved in that but i reckon that's dwn to the working back that candeias does windass despite his goals i feel still drifts out of games too much. Cummings i think needs more game time to see how he will pan out. And the likes of halliday hodson and moh i really don't think are good enough. Unfotrtunately for us i think i great deal of investment is needed and i have no idea where that will come from.

02 Apr 2018 13:34:45
He had also slated Scottish football several times so it's a no for me.

02 Apr 2018 16:00:03
We don’t want him at our club. He has been a failure everywhere he has been

02 Apr 2018 16:55:41
honestly don't know how he keeps getting jobs! would want a decent wage, comes across as pretty arrogant, crap results and somehow managed to lose a dressing room he was only in charge of for half a season! big no from me mate.

02 Apr 2018 18:42:56
Im reading views on Alves. There is no doubt he has been a class defender, in my opinion he hasn't cut it in Scottish football. He has had a few decent games but in general he is simply not worth his reported 30 grand a week. i'd go as far to say our defence hasn't been great for a good few seasons now. We are leaking far to many goals, time to get this sorted.

02 Apr 2018 20:26:05
Who's gf did he sleep with? Why on earth would a young hot wag who has already achieved her goal in life by worming her way in to someone with loads of money want to sleep him lol another team mate maybe but would she really think I'm going to sleep with his old grey manager lol

02 Apr 2018 22:40:36
Both single fish and a banker to boot, no thanks. Good friend to Brenda and Dorothy I hear.

02 Apr 2018 22:58:06
Pardew is a joke no thanks. Really don't know what the solution is. Welcome DB2378. Hope the team screws the nut and gets some results. Let's finish the season strong. Onwards

02 Apr 2018 11:20:06
Morning Fellow Bears, Said a while back more chance of fourth than first, deep down dindt really believe that would be the case however its now going to be a battle to achieve second and guarantee European football. Believe it or not Motherwell are the only team that can prevent us from European Football. If they were to win the cup and we were 4th - no Europe. All other scenarios would get us in. I never thought I Would say it but come on the sheep. In fact just thinking as i'm typing, could you imagine if we are 4th and we get to the final and its against Motherwell. Both teams playing for Europe, the cup, revenge, salvation etc what a game, don't know if I could handle that - let's just gets second!

Whats everyone thoughts on Redbull, if that was an April Fool am I being a bad sport on never buying a can ever again. Still hope its a double bluff. doesn't make sense to me why they would do it unless their board are full of tims, board room would need a thorough clean at least twice a day! The fly spray cost alone would dent profits) ) ) )

02 Apr 2018 12:47:24
Hey TJBB. PMA mate, we are in pole position for 2nd even if it were to come down to goal difference. we have some key players returning from injury and more strength in depth added to the squad. Have faith mate! I think the Red Bull things was an April Fools post. This image was fan created last year when the rumours were circulating about a partnership when we had that friendly with RB leipzig. Nothing came to fruition off the back of that, so i am positive this was a dud.

02 Apr 2018 13:36:26
Aberdeen have a game in hand so surely they are in pole position for 2nd?

02 Apr 2018 14:19:06
I guess you are right. But i don't see them winning vs Motherwell and Hearts away. they will definitely drop points before the split. Hopefully to both! Then they have Motherwell again in the cup so who knows! I can see us getting the 3 points vs Dundee. I have my suspicion that we will still be level on points by the time the league splits. Exciting times! still think we will get it

02 Apr 2018 21:07:05
We can beat Aberdeen one more time.

02 Apr 2018 11:15:31
Condolences to stuart pedley family and friends aka BROXI BEAR who sadly passed away

you brought joy and smiles to many young and old rangers fans

he also done charity work for the rangers foundations and sandy jardine projects etc

R. I. P.

02 Apr 2018 13:30:08
Here here tryanikian! Stuart pedley did a lot of fantastic worthwhile work for glasgow rangers! Will be so sadly missed! Brought a lot of joy to many people and young kids in general! Just wish we could find out the knuckle daggers who disagreed with your post mate!

02 Apr 2018 13:47:39
2 disagrees! Shocking! How low can some **** go?

02 Apr 2018 13:56:42
How can people disagree to this comment
RIP Stuart

02 Apr 2018 09:37:55
If we slip up against Dundee next Saturday and Aberdeen and Hibs don't, we'll end up in fourth place come Saturday night. What is the situation regarding qualification for European competition? Is it 3rd, 4th and 5th get in the Europa League? On the positive side, maybe Motherwell will do us a favour against the Sheep then they have Hearts away after that. Strange that a short time ago we thought we might nick the league and be a point or so behind the unwashed and now worrying if we might not even finish in the top 3!

02 Apr 2018 10:25:22
Interesting point you've made there. I know a lot people will not agree with me as the done thing is to slate your competitors and also slate your teams performance. However i honestly believe that the top 6 teams have upped their game. I will highlight Killi at the moment as they have really impressed me since Steve Clark got the job. Motherwell have also been a different beast this season and Hearts have looked good even with a massively depleted squad. I know we have a culture of hatred, which i am sure i will be slated for not following here, but i am actually starting to enjoy Scottish football. I can watch teams and see some great young scottish talent playing week in, week out. That Allan Campbell at Motherwell looked great if i'm honest. Hearts have a good 4 or 5 young teenagers who look great and Killi have young Greg taylor/ Greg Kiltie. I can't help but feel positive about the overall direction of Scottish football. Truthfully, Rangers are exactly where i would expect them to be with a team who haven't been able to put out a consistent starting XI for a run of games, have had 4 different manager in the past 3 years, probably turned over in excess of 50 squad players. We need consistency on and off the pitch and that requires patience from us as fans. we can say we have closed the gap, because we have. the gap last year was 39points. This year the gap is 4 wins. 12 points. Last year there was also a 34 point gap between 2nd and 6th. This year that gap is just 16 points. My point being- We have improved. but for the good of scottish football. Everyone else has as well.

02 Apr 2018 10:44:49
Teddy well wrote post mate, agree with everything you say

02 Apr 2018 10:57:03
Teddy you are correct to a point. Top 6 teams have improved and Celtic have gone backwards. Regardless of that no one is going to stop Celtic over the next few seasons

02 Apr 2018 11:08:58
Hey Johnny and RTMonkey- thanks for the responses. Johnny- I kind of felt the same the other day, but how can someone define that Celtic have gone backwards? Would you say the quality of their team was not as high as last year? Because i disagree there. it's almost identical. The big difference is the teams who have taken points from them. Kille/ Hearts/ Motherwell/ Hibs and us. Are you saying that it's more down to Celtic going backwards or the other teams moving forwards?

02 Apr 2018 11:11:01
Seen some good posts on here but that is the most honest and best post teddy. Well said.

02 Apr 2018 11:13:42
Thanks mate!

02 Apr 2018 12:12:29
Excellent post Teddy! I agree, I think we can see that the like of Hibs, Kilmarnock and Motherwell have improved considerably this season. I don't think Celtic have necessarily gone back, rather stayed the same but the competition has got better, including us. Had Murty been given the job on a permanent basis instead of Pedro who knows where we would be in the league now? Don't forget our younger players too like McCrorie, Bates, Docherty and Murphy. I'd like to see others from the youth team given more of a chance too. The games after the split should be interesting with everyone taking points of one another!

02 Apr 2018 12:15:53
TOTS, i reiterate what the other guys said regarding how well your post was written mate! Out of a matter of interest who would you want to be our next manager mate?

02 Apr 2018 12:31:20
Supercooper it's not a matter of who people want it's a matter of who is available and how much they would want for a wage and also playing budget.

Big Sam would not come for any less than 3 million a year and he is not even worth that. Padrew is hopeless and would also want 2 million a year again not worth it.

You can put all the names in here you want but no one knows who shall be next manager and I include the board in that.

02 Apr 2018 12:42:45
Hey Doiger - Believe me i had not forgotten them, i am however disappointed not to see more of them this term. Barjonas i thought had the potential to at least be bench for most of this season. Bates has dramatically improved and I was gutted about McCrorie. Also shouldn't forget that Declan, Docherty and Morelos are all 21/ 22 so with barrels of potential. Supercoop- Honestly i like Murty, yes he is new and inexperienced at this level, but Rangers is developing in every aspect, so i don't see why getting a hugely expensive, experienced manager would make a blind bit of difference. Murty has class, he handles himself well under ridiculous pressure to win every game. He has not had his 2 starting midfielders (Jack and Dorrans) and has had to change his CB partnership on an almost weekly basis. For me, he deserves the chance and i am still confident we will claim 2nd.

02 Apr 2018 12:46:18
I say again, Chris Hughton of Brighton. Looks like they are safe in the EPL but I don't think he can take them any further.

02 Apr 2018 13:05:29
Not a Rumour- Have to agree with you. In an ideal world i'd love to have a high calibre manager come in. But in honesty would what they bring to the table? For me, Murty is the way forward. Young, complete understanding of our youth system and players, understanding of the Scottish game. Developing himself as well as the team. All he needs is time.

02 Apr 2018 13:17:54
Problem we have is we don’t have time

02 Apr 2018 13:23:32
Doiger - Hughton is proven to be a decent manager, so can't argue with your choice at all. I would say that Wagner would be decent as well. For me the only issue i see with our current coaching staff is Johansson. I just can't figure out what he would bring to the table that wee Barry wouldn't improve on.

02 Apr 2018 13:37:03
I'm 100% with you on graeme murty getting the rangers manager's job permanently! If you've read my posts teddyofthesouth, i have continually said almost identically, to what you've just posted regarding why murty deserves a chance beyond this season! So i find myself again,
wholeheartedly, commending your very well written post!

02 Apr 2018 14:22:04
thanks Supercoop- I follow your posts often and have agreed with a lot you have said so i appreciate your response. For me it's a no brainer. Murty is a likeable guy who has been thrown in the deepend in the middle of a marathon and so far, he has managed to stay afloat. I'd say that is commendable. he needs to add a bit of steal to his management team in my opinion. Good cop, bad cop type methodology. Personal i'd like wee Barry in

02 Apr 2018 15:00:27
I think most fans have realised murts is not the answer to mamager, s job. my choice would be souness or butcher or both. I think any of them would be better than those being touted would, nt cost the earth and would instill fear into non performers. they know the club and it, s expectations.

02 Apr 2018 15:25:41
What would a proven high calibre manager bring? Eh? Signing a proven, successful and respected man would give us something we haven't had for years. Nobody doubts murty is a nice enough bloke but 1 point out of the last 9, the consistently poor home form. I don't care how much killie have improved, WE should be beating them at home! I sincerely hope we finish 2nd and win the cup but right now that very unlikely

02 Apr 2018 15:47:29
Graeme souness will NEVER be a manager again blue bear! The guy has had his fair share of heart problems and has repeatedly stated he will NEVER go back to being a manager! Now on to terry butcher mate! God you've honestly got to be at the madam here! No danger should terry butcher be anywhere near being even spoke about, to be the glasgow rangers manager!

02 Apr 2018 16:49:05
Of course butcher won't get the managers job. But just how is murty so much better? Aye I know he's pal's with Allen but apart from that?

02 Apr 2018 16:54:30
I'm more inclined to believe that we and the rest haven't really improved and that it's more the case that we're all as poor as each other, Celtic included, having not missed a home game at ibrox this season, I honestly can't remember a game I've came home and thought that was a great game by 2 great footballing teams.

standard in Scottish football is terrible, and to suggest it's anything else is just rubbish, and will be proven when we're all out of Europe again when the weans school holidays aren't even over.

02 Apr 2018 19:24:17
Surely the only way to gauge any improvement of the Scottish game will be how the teams that qualify for the Europa league qualifying rounds do. All very well saying the game has improved however that needs to be shown in better performances in Europe only then can we say the game has improved

03 Apr 2018 01:56:32
Eddie Howe.

I know money would be an issue but a young dynamic Manager who won’t win anything with his current club.

Thoughts Bears🇬🇧

03 Apr 2018 08:19:17
Grant you this Greyfriar, eddie howe is a very good young manager and of course like probably many bears, would think he'd be an absolute brilliant appointment for us, but here's the but! Howe's career will remain in england with a much bigger club than bournemouth! Maybe arsenal even as early as next season who knows!

03 Apr 2018 11:44:14
I can't deny that Europe will be the litmus test to gauge Scottish footballs progress. Quick question on how people would gauge progress for our club?

2nd place finish? Smaller points gap? Win against Celtic in the cup? What will define our season right now?

Review Of The Day 2nd April 2018

02 Apr 2018 07:23:41
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 2nd April 2018

02 Apr 2018 16:56:17
If Murty has such an understanding of our youth system why isn't he playing them? One thing we have is strength in our youth and it breaks my heart none are getting a chance.
