I would like to commend our manager for his honest words regards the vacant managers job at Fulham, he sound like a loyal and decent man, stating he is building a long term plan, how refreshing, i really hope he sees out his contract, he will make us so much better from top to bottom. His legacy could be huge for our club. Although there may be frustrations, i am loving this gent leading my club. One word sums him up. Integrity. Carry on the good work Mark.

Well said, he signed for us he will see out his contract with us at least. he could get the chance to manage in Europe . we are in the early stages of a project to make us a force again and done in the right way with football.

I could listen to his interveiws all day. He is everything you expect from a Rangers manager and more in his approach to young players, if there good enough he will give them the platform which is bold. I wasnt a fan of our manager being on twitter but maybe its just part of modern football. Tuesday nights game we had a lot of the ball without doing much with it and went in at half time 0-0 no one booed because we believe the goals will come and its great I would love to see him see out his contract and sign another one if that's going to happen time will tell. safetyman2 I agree with what you say about integrity and i know its early days and we will see how far we have came next year or in the scottish cup this year but I don't want anyone else to manage us in the near future.

I don't think anyone would say MW was a stupid man not even these half baked journalists who keep talking about Fulham.
MW took a gamble, for whatever reason, to leave Brentford while they were moving forward, if he did the same with us it might look like he couldn't handle success.
He may well want to go back south tomorrow but he knows
he " is in the right place at the right time" and he will stay.

03 Dec 2015 14:56:08
He is a very clever man who will always say and do the right things in front of the media. Can't wait till he locks horns with wee Ronny next season (if he is still there) . If Ronny doesn't stutter and stammer just now, he will very soon!

Anyone know when the boy Murdoch is back? I think he should be played in CDM for the rest of the season. Handled it fine last year in a far worse team. Move Haliday forward beside Holt.
Saves us buying a player for this position in Jan, a striker and another winger would be better for the run in. Would also like to see Hardie given some game time in the run up to Christmas with Waggy moved out right.
Would still like an experienced CDM in in July for the SPFL tho as Murdoch might take time to settle in the harder league.

I agree recbob. I've consistently queried why Murdoch isn't playing for the first team this season. Get him back off loan in January and I like the sound of him playing alongside Halliday and Holt. Also, I see in the DR that Rangers are interested in Windass of Accrington Stanley. He is a goalscorer and the son of Dean. Could be a good capture?

03 Dec 2015 15:02:39
Obviously MW doesn't think wee Murdoch will do for us just now. That's not to say that will always be the case though. In my opinion he is a good player who just might do well for us in the near future. Just like to say I'm delighted for Jason Holt. He didn't have an easy start to the season and a lot of people weren't convinced about him. I think he has been absolutely terrific for us especially in the last five or six games. And apparently a top lad in the dressing room.

just a wee point, (always moaning - i know! )
watched the highlights of the match, reported to have attendance of 37000.
No way was the crowd anywhere near that, there were umpteen wide open spaces, doesn't really matter too much but it's just not reporting the truth. Thought we were above the lies now?

02 Dec 2015 20:06:19
Season tickets are always counted as being in attendance at every game are they not?

02 Dec 2015 20:56:07
Yes that's what all clubs do!

02 Dec 2015 21:02:47
Apart from Celtic, they do the opposite. Certainly did back in the day, but they don't like to mention it.

02 Dec 2015 20:31:03
Think that only applies cee in season matches as season tickets don't count for cup.

02 Dec 2015 22:24:36
that was in the days of the little brown bag of cash for everyone but that had nothing to do with sporting integrity it was just sporting greed.

03 Dec 2015 11:31:57
WULL and CUILLIN

Are you suggesting the worlds greatest fans were not all included in the gate receipts?

That would be tax and we know they would never do that as that as long as giros are green; they are at the forefront of honesty etc etc etc etc.

Anyone else think rangers should be looking at the likes of Barry bannan and possibly gauld if he's out of favour at sporting also think we should try to get Ryan jack off the sheep as I think he'd fit perfect into our midfield as the dm and as for a centre back if dk is investing for Europe do you think that we could sign either lees who in my opinion would be a perfect leader from the back from Sheffield Wednesday or Jonathan spector from Birmingham both could be a perfect partner to keirnan or ball or Wilson they would improve either one of our centre backs.

I see people on here still saying we need a striker even tho we scored more goals in this half of the season than pretty much all of last season just because we had a couple of games we didn't turn up just keep faith with what warbs and weir are doing with us I see a big difference people actually want to watch rangers and personally I am proud to say to one of my friends that don't know much about rangers because their English that they will be entertained by rangers .

02 Dec 2015 14:38:31
Jonathan spector is too old. we need big rummel up as striker to come off the bench to go 'Route 1' when 'Tippy Tappy' is not working. we have scored plenty of goals but teams now know how to line up against us now (had to happen ). at times we will need to be more direct, especially in the top league. As far as who comes in, in January, you may be surprised.

02 Dec 2015 15:44:56
Ball is out of contract with Spurs at end of season we should be trying to sign him! i think him n Kieran r a good partnership!

02 Dec 2015 16:11:32
With DK saying we need players who can not only compete in the SPL but Europe too we may be surprised in who we sign.

Tavernier has stopped scoring so we may need 2 strikers :) ok bad joke.

02 Dec 2015 17:23:51
Bluepete, as much as its a joke, personally I think Tavs should concentrate on his premium job. defending. I watched him closely against St Mirren and he had no drive to get back goal side and help the central defenders. He constantly "cheats" by not tracking back trying to gain those extra yards when we break. Maybe if we had full backs not flying forward would give the remaining defenders the cover we need to be a little more solid. Even kids are taught from an early age to get goal side when defending, I'm sure big Davie knows this and would be telling him this. I hope. Maybe there not bothered and implement " we'll score more goals than you" attitude, which doesn't really do my nerves any good. Roll on the good times!

02 Dec 2015 20:37:20
Yes Joerfc, Barry bannan would be a great signing he is great player, also big stevie May and we would be one hell of a team!

02 Dec 2015 22:29:10
red white and blue, your right and that's what is wrong with wilson he has not got used to the full backs being as far up the field.

03 Dec 2015 15:06:30
BigWull You are right.
I think Wilson is not suited to the system we play as he is left too exposed at times. A centre back needs pace to play that type of game.

02 Dec 2015 09:45:40
Another 4-0 win and a comfortable one again. This is a young team which is the most exciting thing about it. The goalscorers highlight the need for a striker though and I still think Hardie should be given a run but I think Warburton will bring in an experienced striker in January, though I've no idea who! We must beat Raith, Morton and Falkirk in our next three games and pile the pressure on Hibs - their next three games are Morton, Falkirk and QOS. Win on 28th December and we'll be at least six points clear plus a superior goal difference. A work in progress but we are back scoring goals again which is great.

02 Dec 2015 14:42:23
you're right doiger, the festive games will decide how hard the rest of the season will be. our main challengers will continue to be hibs so we must beat them at ibrox. as far as the rest goes, i think falkirk will get into the play-offs, st. mirren have too much to make up.
