Why any true Rangers fans would have this opinion is beyond me.
Your at the windup pal. Bates came on early in an old firm and was outstanding and has never let is down before or since so the young guy has my full support. Would love to see him suceed.
Bet you were one of the fans that gave Charlie Adam, Alan Hutton, Mo Ross etc a torrid time but made allowances for foreign duds like Emerson and Capucho.

Bates has only started playing in first team regular last few months people on here slating him . ye he makes mistakes and passings a bit dodgy sometimes but I think he will develop into top centre half give him time

Am pretty happy with the window, even though its a lot of loans. Atleast we get to see the players before we put an offer in though.
With regards to Morelos, if his ambition is to be playing for Colombia then heading to china was never an option, only thing that league can offer at the moment is money. He seems to want to go to england. He is by no means a finished striker and I can't see a epl team buying him and playing him, am sure many teams in the championship would be after him though. But not sure if that's good enough to get into the Colombian team.
Now we are being told he is demanding more wages after such a short period of time? Sounds a lot like an agent is whispering in his ear. The boy should just be told put your head down work hard and the move will come. If a player let's his views be known that he wants to leave at the end of the season why would the club increase his wages? I don't know how to run a football club but I am very sure if a worker made it clear he wanted to leave a company in 4 months time but also wanted more money inbetween that he would be told where to go.
If he had told Colombian media he loves it here and isn't looking to go anywhere soon he could have walked in demanded more wages and am sure a new extended contract would have been offered but he hasn't done that at all. But I now take everything said in the media with a pinch of salt.

He will still get a massive pay rise at Rangers, and i agree its not right as he has made it clear he is looking to leave in the summer, so Basically Morales is just using us as a stepping stone and i also think we will see a total different player on and off the pitch in the second half of the season and not for the good either, if the 8 million is still on the table.
i would sell him now and bring Hardie back from his loan as cover or there are plenty of players that got released or the contract ran out that we could get in until the summer. NOBODY IS BIGGER THAN RANGERS!

Hi everyone, regarding David Bates the guy is a terrific defender for his age and WILL improve all round mark my words. i'm impressed with they way the club is improving in all areas, a strong playing squad now the youth set up looks very good with some very impressive results, the backroom staff looks excellent, and the manager really looks the part now everyone seems happy and enjoying there job. Merelos staying was brilliant business by the club he's a goal machine and hopefully he bags one or two tomorrow. c'mon us.

Like the majority of us bears on here, i'm very impressed with our signings, in the january transfer window there! I truly hope that even this early, that graeme murty, our manager, gets a 12 month rolling contract, that he truly deserves imho! He has greatly impressed me, in every aspect of being the glasgow rangers manager! I honestly can see shades of a young walter smith, within murty! I just hope he goes on to be even half as successful as wattie! Murty handles himself even in the media, superbly well! He has the full package imho, to go on to be a very successful glasgow rangers manager, in the years ahead!

Need to give Bates a chance. Everyone on his back saying he’s not prem standard. Coulda said the same bout Barry Mckay, he couldn’t get a game and had to go out on loan and look what it did for him. A season or 2 around Ibrox with guys like Miller KT and the rest will only help him.

Yeah I agree one day but I still can't help feel the Rangers Job came to soon in his Career, you can see by the way we have really struggled against the so call smaller teams the defeats by them, and we are still struggling against them take the Ross County game for example we were very lucky, just my opinion.

Have to say I am no 100% percent convinced by Bates either. I get the fact he is still young and can only get better with time but if we are to catch Celtic and better them, then I think we will need better than Bates in there.

I can remember when Craig Moore was coming into the team and got similar stick. He ended up being one of my favourite players of all time. Give the boy a chance and give him the support he needs. And remember few of the great defenders had good distribution, as long as he can get the ball comfortably onto midfield to someone who is good on the ball.

The big man will only get better but I think he will level out at SPL standard which will be fine although if we want to be playing group stage Europa League football or higher then we will need to upgrade both centre backs and probably a whole lot more in the next few seasons.
We seem to have a settled first 11 that I would like to see 2 players come into this summer but the back up is woefully short IMO, we could be doing with overhauling the squad in that sense and getting rid of the dead wood! (Easier said Ryan done I know! )
On the plus side we seem to have a raft of young talent at the club at present and we need to get these guys tied down ASAP and find a pathway to to the senior squad, you never know they might just be the answer!

The last game big Bruno played did you observe his
Distribution it’s was awful at best. I watched him to see what all the fuss was about and I was mega disappointed
Distribution was crap. It seems to be a common theme from recent Rangers defensive players
Tav has certainly improved
Need to work on defence perhaps if gough is tight with DK

See Barry Ferguson continues to demonstrate why he was shown the door by Sir Walter, failed in management at Clyde and was overlooked for the Assistant position at the Gers.
I don't doubt he has an affection fior the club but like Sutton he is now about building his own personal brand and even if the club suffers as a consequence he is more than up for it.

Absolute joke him coming out with that. Our "rangers men" should be talking our players up, wanting them to either stay at the club and prosper or leave only when our asking price has been met! I for one am impressed with the board this January. Good incomings and smart with loan-to-buy deals, and keeping our star man until summer when we could be selling the league's top goalscorer for £10M+.

rangers need to get the three points and if we could do it in a manner which humiliates his side then that would just be the icing on top as it would send a clear message to the rest of the league that we are back to being better than the rst of them and they would then I feel start fearing us again.

What's the thoughts for the Hibees bears? I will go for an optimistic 3-1 maybe 3-2, will be a hard game as Lennon always has Hibs up for the big games, don't think we'll see as much of the ball as we are use too but hopefully our pace up too will overcome them, I like Murphy to get his first gers goal as I feel these will be the types of games he can really come alive in, think either josh or Fredo maybe for one and Cummings of the bench to score would be ideal, given his personality think this is a game he will be desperate to do well in and show his commitment to rangers, anyway troops what's the thoughts?

To be fair to Niko he played the pass that set up our first real chance hit the bar played in holt who was fouled for penalty nice touch down to Cummings that led to second goal and played the pass to windass to assist the first, if pretty much any other player was involved in every goal last night we would be praising them, I think Niko is past it and should move on but I think on Twitter sometimes people criticise the guy without even watching the game cause if they were they would notice the positives from him as well as his poor touches and surely the guys to criticise last night were Halliday and Hodson they were awful.

it was a horrible place to play and the pitch was tiny and muddy for me there wasn't a player that stood out and had a really good game and I think niko get it tight from people that like to see people run about with more intensity but that's never been the type of player he is .
I think given a run of games in a positive, confident team he would show the class he has at his disposal
