Rangers are rudderless from the board through the management team through the squad on to the pitch.
We have no core nor direction and we are being conned by DK's hish.
Time for honesty about the standard of our play, the manager's failings and, most of all, do we have two bob!

02 Jan 2017 21:29:33
I don't think we have any Bob's.

02 Jan 2017 21:43:09
P&B, Hi, effen, larious. Clown.

02 Jan 2017 21:48:46
Why thank you sir. It's taken me this long to find joy and fun after that result. Perhaps you're a wee bit behind that?
Or do I truly amuse you?

02 Jan 2017 22:18:15
Billy king said what he said to get the support and the control of the club. I believe that he thought that Rangers could win the title then he was going to put in some cash to try and qualify for CL. Its gone wrong. Celtic are miles in front. Forget the result ladt week. Celtic are 19 points clear with a game in hand. Miles away. So he does not see any point in putting cash in now. To challenge Celtic would take 5 or 6 quality players and players like Sinclair cost £3.5 mill. So let's say you need 6 players at an average spend of £2.5 mill each so that's £15mill then those guys want £15 to £20k a week. So another £6mill a year. Now that's just to challenge Celtic. There is no guarantee that Rangers will win the league or qualify for CL even if money is invested so no guarantee of any return on the investment. So is king willing to gift Rangers £25mill with little chance of getting it back? Also if he puts in the £25 mill all of the shareholders benefit so he is paying out the money and everyone else gets a benefit. Is anyone else going to put in big vash? no chance. Rangers already owe about £10mill in loans so that needs to be paid back before any money is spent on tbe team. So king will accept second place for as long as Celtic look dominant and he will see if Rangers can gradually improve and maybe qualify for Europ league which right now is not nailed on. Why do fans just assume that someone will just throw millions and millions at Rangers so they can beat Celtic or prevent Celtic getting 10 in a row? Rangers had £22mill in the bank 4 years ago and blew it. Rangers now need to live within their means that's what everyone else does. Currently Rangers are the team in the SPL with the most debt. Rangers will need another £2mill to get to the end of the season so more debt so do fans just want the club to keep on taking on more and more debt. If tbey keep on doing that then tbey will go bust again. So Rangers fans need to accept that this is the way its going to be forca long long time.

02 Jan 2017 23:43:13
Any sensible Rangers fan didn't expect to win the league this season. There's no need to write a book about it. These are exceptional times Rangers are 18 months into a 5 year plan. We'll finish 2nd this season and grow from there.

03 Jan 2017 00:01:09
KPBLUE

Any sensible fan would realise that a 5 year plan is a myth. Do you honestly think Warburton would survive for 4 years without winning the title? Also how do you expect to grow finishing 2nd when the only other team who can win the title will finish 1st and get another crack at the champions league.

03 Jan 2017 00:21:20
Johnnymac, who the feck is Billy king?

03 Jan 2017 00:26:42
Stewie, so did you expect to win the title this season? If steady growth over the next few years is not the way to go, what is? To me it's not a myth, it's the only way to go.

03 Jan 2017 00:33:38
No chance Warburton will last 5 years I can think of 5 players who would improve our team straight away Jason Cummings callum Patterson if not injured Chris cadden jonny Hayes and they certainly wouldn't cost 2.5 million as stated above there are players out there that you can find that are better than what we have and can be found if the club starts looking in the right places David king has maid this problem for himself with his statements of him investing money so why should he invest maybe because he promised the rangers fans he would and that's why they backed him when there was other interested parties in our club and got him in the door so fans deserve to ask him where his investment is that he promised and ask for the transparency as for soft loans they will be converted to shares in future so won't have to pay cash back.

03 Jan 2017 10:20:33
Passionate, understandable but outrageously ill informed comments on here this morning. Of course we will be back, any student of history will tell you that the underdog always returns. The other thing in our favour is the inevtitablility of a Celtic implosion and unravelling as they believe their hype and lack the structure to support, likely to commence around September 2018. Let the Celtic fans enjoy their current success, we will return stronger. Recognise that we are at the early stages of our journey back and rise to the different challenges and questions that it presents.

03 Jan 2017 10:30:52
Johnnymac. I think War and Peace is shorter than your post. £22 million to which you refer was blown by the crooks Green and co. How do we know King and perhaps other won't invest? We were never going to win the league first time back and Celtic are not as good as others and themselves think. Mullered in the Champions League and it was only 2-1 on Saturday by the way. As someone else has said, injuries haven't helped us.

03 Jan 2017 11:19:22
Doiger whether it wax 2/ 1 or 10/ 1 celtic are 19 points ahead that's what you need to measure yourself against. It will be 30 by the end of the season.

02 Jan 2017 20:02:24
I must say foderingham was a pet hate of mine for a long time. Although I need to give the guy credit as the last few months he's been superb, even coming out and claiming the ball at corners and free kicks which he never used to do. His overall performance has improved dramatically. He still does the silly wee needless passes out to the defence at times however I think that has been drilled into him by the management team. If he keeps on improving he could be a valuable asset for us.

02 Jan 2017 19:29:44
Any news on joey garner?

02 Jan 2017 21:30:08
Still hasn't scored.

02 Jan 2017 22:06:07
Still in that waiting room you know the nhs mate nightmare.

03 Jan 2017 00:02:24
does it really matter?

03 Jan 2017 12:27:34
You ever been to NHS A&E your told remake an appointment with your doctor the result should take 4 to 5.weeks.

02 Jan 2017 18:43:29
why would charlie adam come back to us? dundee lad who got a rough ride at rangers last time. makes more money down south where he has been getting game time.

02 Jan 2017 19:08:37
Why would we want him back.

02 Jan 2017 23:17:21
Adam could play the role that Halliday is playing a lot better than Halliday plays it! That said I am sure that there are others that could do the same!

03 Jan 2017 00:16:45
Just curious as to if it matters where he is from?

04 Jan 2017 06:58:04
No doubt Charlie can play but he is too slow. The team needs a player with a turn of speed in the role Halliday is playing. Ironically Halliday has pace but his big problem is he's too casual on the ball. If he can sort that part of his game out along with adding a bit more in the tackle he would do well. Oh for a Stuart McCall right now!

02 Jan 2017 18:34:45
I know maybe not the highest level he plays at but Omar bogle is a player we should be after, just seen his 2 goals today, big and physical for his first goal, threw 2 defenders out of his way,2nd goal he out jumped the defence to score a header, he also set up his sides 3rd goal. i'm sure someone mentioned him on her not long ago.

03 Jan 2017 19:52:38
Unless he's 5ft warburton won't be interested.

02 Jan 2017 18:03:17
Message for Ed. First of all health and happiness to you mate. You have an agree or disagree option. My suggestion would be that people would give a reason for selecting their option, give a chance to explain themselves. It may be that there are quite a few Celtic supporters on here selection an option to cause an upset. I realise it's banter but when Rangers guys ask a serious question then we deserve an honest reply, cheers Ed.

{Ed001's Note - why? People have a right to register an agree or disagree without having to type a reply if they don't want to.}

02 Jan 2017 18:34:10
Sorry Gor - I'm with the Ed on this one. Too many people get a wee bit precious with the agree / disagree tabs.
Some people might not have the confidence to type a reply - I know it took me a couple of months of visiting the sites before posting.

{Ed001's Note - they will be changed over to a thumbs up/thumbs down in time, just because that way no one can be an arse with RIP posts. Some of the sites have them already. Other than that, I fail to see that it matters whether people click them or not, I never even look at them personally.}

02 Jan 2017 18:41:38
Yeh maybe Ed, but it would be nice to read why they have chosen their option. We are all different and it wouldn't do if we were all the same but I would like to read their explanation as to why we agree or disagree. Like I say, just a suggestion mate.

{Ed001's Note - people have suggested it hundreds of times, but the only thing that tends to happen is people say 'I agree' or 'I disagree' or similar without the buttons. Then the page just gets clogged up with those kind of posts that add nothing to the convo and tend to get in the way.}

02 Jan 2017 18:51:30
Ok, fair enough Ed, no worries.

{Ed001's Note - I do appreciate the suggestion though mate, don't mean to sound like I am having a go at you or anything. We are always looking for ways to make the sites better. Though it usually takes Ed033 a good few months before he gets round to actually putting things into practice!}

02 Jan 2017 17:35:26
A lot of chat after the old firm so I might as well put my 2 pence in.

Disappointing in the end as we took them by surprise and showed in the first 30 mins that when Celtic are under the cosh their defence can look as suspect as any. Sviatchencko got away with murder a couple of times. For some reason we can't keep that type of performance up which is a real shame but Celtic upped their game after the equaliser and deservedly won. We had a couple of chances to possibly nick a draw but it's unacceptable how our heads go down after conceding.

Tav is seriously off form or out of his depth. He needs the McKay treatment. Hodson all day long should have played. As we all know he is a much better defender but attacking wise he is pretty solid and realiable.

Halliday and Holt don't have the technical ability to control a mid field. Neither can read a game well, neither has a good passing range or can tackle. Trying hard can only get you so far. Windass wasn't much better he hid from the occasion apart from his role in the goal.

Foderingham is maturing into a really good solid keeper, McKay was superb as well as Miller but it's not enough only having 3 players actually looking like they wanted to win the game.

For me, again, the game was screaming out for someone like O'Halloran who would have been the perfect outball. Celtic found it hard to contain McKay running at them at times so he would have made life twice as difficult with his direct approach. Could have been different if it was him running clean through on goal from those couple of chances Waghorn and Forrester had in the 2nd half. The manager must know something we don't.

Hope to see some improvement up front after the winter break and hopefully we can bring in a couple of the right players we need.

Hope you all had a good new year. Onwards and upwards guys.

02 Jan 2017 18:40:02
Your summation of Halliday and Holt is pretty accurate. Halliday totally lacks guile and on Saturday there was little positive to say about his game.

We must sign a quality midfield player in January to replace Halliday since there is clearly no guarantees that Crooks and Rossiter will be fit any time soon.

02 Jan 2017 20:12:10
Crooks is fit Tom just isn't getting played.

02 Jan 2017 20:35:37
I agree with most of it Keven lad although thought windlass had a good game.

03 Jan 2017 00:04:58
Windass was worse than awful and should have been hooked long before he did. Clearly didn't fancy it and didn't want to get involved.

03 Jan 2017 01:05:02
Bit harsh stewie he was best of our midfielders, he has abit of maturing to do and would benefit massively from an experienced anchorman but on the ball he is tidy! Agree with most of your post leven lad and the reason for our heads dropping is experience and leadership were carrying too many players, yes we need to sign quality but I belive we must sign experience and that doesn't mean 34 year olds just guys who have won something played at a decent level!

03 Jan 2017 20:59:28
Tom usa your 100% right also Kieran is an accident waiting to happen, and Wilson always ball watches, neither one is good enough.

02 Jan 2017 17:09:00
As most people on here agree haliday isn't good enough for midfield how about giving jordan Thompson a chance. Everytime he's played he's looked a good prospect. He certainly deserves a chance.

02 Jan 2017 18:40:31
He certainly couldn't be any worse than Halliday!

02 Jan 2017 15:58:02
There are long of reasons for Scottish football being a mess, but one surely is the fact sky taking the mick. Scotland provide more than 10 percent of sky's uk viewers and should get a similar percentage of the deal that the epl gets. People might say the product is so poor we don't deserve that. But the reason the product is so poor is because we have been starved of investment. If fans in Scotland would organise and boycott sky for a while, I think they would soon see sense. At the moment we are paying into a system that is making our club into an also ran.

02 Jan 2017 16:09:33
No one is interested in watching most Scottish Teams be it on Sky or anywhere else. At the same time the majority of EPL Games are sold out each week and Newcastle tends to sell out each of their home games.

Where I would suggest we should see some quality is in what the Championship etc., in England gets from TV Revenue.

Of course if they let teams do there own deals that would inevitably be best for rangers and celtic and, to a lesser degree to Hibs, Hearts and Aberdeen.

02 Jan 2017 16:12:07
A lot of the sky games are on BT now mate.
I worked for Sky for 11 years and can tell you When Sky And Sentanta did there deal Sky stated the main games they were taking was the 4 old firm games then they worked out who was getting what after that this is a Fact!

02 Jan 2017 18:35:23
The reason Sky pay so much to the EPL is that it supplies world wide coverage to over 30 countries that have large viewing audiences.
Scotland has much lower viewing figures so the revenue to our clubs reflects this.

{Ed001's Note - that is a good point TBD, companies around the world pay to take the Sky coverage. Al Jazeera for instance, they pay Sky to take the feed for their BeIn Sports channel line up. ESPN and others do the same, rather than sending cameras and technicians etc over to do the job. That is where a large part of Sky's income comes from for the coverage.}

02 Jan 2017 15:55:39
It's clear we need money spent on the team we have to face the fact no individual is going to come in invest as they would be looking for a return so I'm afraid it's up to us fans . If say 100000 fans all donate £100 each to some sort of player fund that's £10000000 just not sure Warburton is the man to spend that kind of money.

02 Jan 2017 16:14:40
While I respect the sentiment I see little point in fans digging deep, as they tend to do on a regular basis while the man that is currently the Chairman keeps his hands in his pocket. The idea would be more appropriate if such a scheme could be structured and King agreed to match or double what the fans contributed! Question one, do we have 100,000 fans that would be that committed, answer, probably, question two, could we expect King to match or double the fans contribution; somehow I doubt it!

02 Jan 2017 16:18:57
100,000 thousand Rangers fans "donate" £100? Are you for real?

02 Jan 2017 16:44:55
100000 fans went to Manchester not so long ago bet they spent at least £100 each so why not .

02 Jan 2017 16:59:04
The general idea of fans finance I believe is the correct one and as a season ticket holder would happily pay more on a frequent basis but it has to be done in large numbers of fans to be effective

Like it or not Celtic have been well managed in a period when we have not so their financial strength will not be challenged unless we do something creative and different.

Why would Dave King or any other businessman put money into Rangers without security and under the current Sports Direct stranglehold the opportunities are limited if not legally constrained.

02 Jan 2017 18:38:59
@gman - us fans already pay our way through match day costs. Let's now see how deep DK's etc pockets are.

02 Jan 2017 18:49:25
Not deep enough I'm afraid.

02 Jan 2017 18:54:13
Novel idea chaps try getting your head round this. Try running a solvent football club based on a financial business model. One that spends only what one generates. Who in there right mind is going to pour tens of millions of £££ into a half dead football club for nostalgia? Certainly not so thousands of fans can enjoy the good times again. What's needed is sound business men with no fraudulent backgrounds and certainly no emotional ties. Unfortunately your club is not economically viable and as a result no investment will be made.

02 Jan 2017 22:39:31
G Man, go and read what Hugh Adam said about that.

03 Jan 2017 17:26:58
G man, try 250k rangers fans went to manchester mate!

02 Jan 2017 15:27:55
The winter break should suit us better, as I think that we are not as fit as others are, the other lot looked for quicker and fitter than our us on Saturday. If we have anybody 100% coming in, now would be the time to show what it should mean to pull on a shirt of the famous glasgow rangers, remember lads.

02 Jan 2017 16:17:13
It should give us the opportunity to strengthen and allow us time to bring in three or four players that will hopefully secure second place and put us in a better position for next season. Of course other teams will strengthen as well and at the end of the day it will depend on who we bring in.

Who knows, we might even have Crooks and Rossiter fit by then!

02 Jan 2017 17:23:58
The break will defos benefit Rangers and their fans, at least you can go a few weeks without having to watch the dung that you have been.

02 Jan 2017 15:11:12
Being totally honest, we are a mile short of where we should be and, in my opinion, due to many reasons.
Financially we are a mess, mostly for historical reasons I may add.
The board is rudderless, due to mis-information being the basis of their policies. i. e. DK holding back on certain information available.
DK has led the fans on a merry dance hoping that our blind loyalty and funding we be suffice to cover the problems.
The manager is a Yes man that is running out of ideas. His team selections are just to justify " his gang".
Tavernier is only being played for why? MW. We have adapted to 3-5-2 to justify his selection. Fine if Wallace is fit and running, but not just now.
Hodson must play and if we struggle at left back play Halliday, as he is doing hee haw elsewhere.
Another player that must be in our starting line up is MOH. Again singled out for a back up involvement, if that.
I could go on but will finish up with Garner, the man is no use in his current role. Blood and snotters win nothing.
Our manager's approach to the game will win nothing and unless there is a radical overhaul of the board we will deteriorate to a complete nothing of a club. Take away our cash and take a long, cold, hard look at the REAL input of DK, then realise of how we are being taken for a ride.

02 Jan 2017 15:42:20
Billyb, it's great to read an accurate and honest post, credit to you sir. Happy New Year to you mate.

02 Jan 2017 15:51:42
DK wants his £20m back with interest . time we all woke up .

02 Jan 2017 17:29:27
Billyp and punter, thankfully, 2 guys who do seem to have avoided the mass brain washing that's going on. If only your fellow fans listened to guys like you. Truth tellers.

02 Jan 2017 17:55:03
Bhampot, I think you'll find many other bears thinking along similar lines.

02 Jan 2017 20:10:38
Happy New Year to you Gor and all the punters on here.
We call others sheep, but we have a high proportion of our support that are exactly that.
We really need to waken up, and show DK that we have a mind of our own. I have been pissed off since he orchestrated the season ticket ban, and the damage that done to us. Ashley is a mercenary and I have no time for him, but DK likes to get close to enable him to dip pockets, OURS.
Have a good look at the accounts and you will see our input is frittered away over the year. While him and his friends soft loans are "covered".
We need a sensible business man at the helm then, depending on the outcome of court cases and our financial backing then we would have a stable club. Whether that could be converted into a successful club would be dependent on a good manager being given the backing to nurture a team that would be a credit to the jersey.

02 Jan 2017 21:18:23
Naz, if you are correct and i'm sure you are, then serious noises by those fans has to be made, the concequences of no action is a very dire future.

03 Jan 2017 16:28:17
We all know DK is spending all his time trying to get this sports direct/ puma kit deal sorted out which is proving to be very difficult indeed! Surely to god we should have moved something on this by now! Our merchandise shirt sales is big money for our club if it can be sorted out! It most definitely needs to come to a conclusion one way or the other before the end of this season! Common DK what's happening with this?

02 Jan 2017 14:42:21
Regarding the lafferty and naismith posts is there actually any credibility in these rumours as I haven't seen or heard anything on this other than this site. And every transfer window this rumour pops up. I'd hope there's something in it.

Mackay lafferty miller up top
And Hallyday windass naismith in the mid looks a lot more solid for the time been.

02 Jan 2017 15:00:36
I do know Lafferty wanted to return at the start of the season, his agent was pushing for this, however those advances were rejected. It wouldn't surprise me if Naismith wanted to return as he has a young family who still stay in Stewarton. Remember Rangers nursed him back to full fitness after 2 bad injuries then he buggered off. Really can't begin to believe how some people would take back Norwich rejects. It's a big no from me!

02 Jan 2017 15:06:45
Ppl go on abt us not having a creative midfielder (#10) type player, well i think the answer is right under our noses in young Mckay, i think the boy would b a standout in that posistion.

02 Jan 2017 16:24:17
Surely the need is to replace Halliday in midfield. He has been hopeless all season and as we saw again on Saturday, he is out of his depth!
A good quality holding midfield player and our defence will be more solid.
Certainly, Naismith would add to our team but I am not convinced that Lafferty would add anything.

Personally I would be more tempted to try and get Chris Brunt for the left wing position and move McKay inside.

02 Jan 2017 17:08:47
I don't think Brunt has the pace to play in a front 3 for us TOMUSA, we're alrrady short on pace up top without getting another player in whos legs have seen better days.

02 Jan 2017 14:16:56
I think we need a reality check, and move on, aye players may have been ill advised etc etc, but there is no doubt both big Lafferty and Naisy would improve our team. The bottom line is that's what I am looking for an improvement.

02 Jan 2017 13:56:50
I can't believe some of our fans saying they would welcome back the judases that ran out of Ibrox and Auchinhowe when times got bad to seek ther fortunes elsewhere.
Just read if true Naysmith holding out for more cash!
I'll tell how I feel your not welcome even to watch us I'll never forget who they were! Mercenaries the lot f you.

02 Jan 2017 14:18:27
So Bongo, you'd rather stick with the average lot we have now than see better players come back to play for us?
Not sure that adds up to supporting your club!

02 Jan 2017 14:31:31
Personally I would happily take Naismith. I would also be looking to see if I could get Brunt if he is on a Bosman. As far as Lafferty is concerned I wouldn't want him back. I just don't believe that he is anywhere near good enough. We have a lot of mediocre players adding another one doesn't make a lot of sense.

02 Jan 2017 14:44:55
No I'm not happy with what we have but bringing back old players especially the ones that left us I'm not for, There must be players out there in the transfer window, I'd even go further get rid of O'Halloran and Halliday as well, O, Halloran been here a Year now how many starts and Forrester gets a start before him all the time Halliday is mince and the fans are turning on him!

03 Jan 2017 15:38:46
I'm totally with you bongo as regards to they 2 mercenaries lafferty and naismith! They're not welcome as far as i'm concerned! Not good enough for norwich so they want to waltz back here as if nothing has happened! Don't think so! GTF the pair of you!

02 Jan 2017 12:36:44
Laverty and Naishame can't get a game for Norwich and low and behold they want to come back to Rangers. The audacity of them both! I do believe Wier would not welcome the idea.

02 Jan 2017 12:54:07
Both would walk into our team.

02 Jan 2017 13:06:08
You can say that again cee. As for weir he should concentrate on learning the players how to defend corners.

02 Jan 2017 13:19:57
Simply can't believe some supporters agreeing to have lafferty and Naismith back. While I agree they have to financially look after themselves and their families, it's was the timing of their departure. I believe they could have stayed a little longer to command a transfer fee (how little or large) for our club and indeed would still get their move down south. So for me I'm not sure if I believe this rumour but if there is any truth in this I would welcome either player.

02 Jan 2017 13:30:54
Yeah gor they could have stayed and snapped a leg in division 3 career over! Family out on their arse! The fact is they didn't stick around and neither would you if your company went to shit.

02 Jan 2017 13:39:17
Sorry my last sentence should have read I would NOT welcome either player.

02 Jan 2017 14:00:53
Gorgeous, say they stay and commanded a fee, how much of that would the club have saw? Zero. It would all have went to green white ashley etc so what does it matter.

02 Jan 2017 14:34:45
Naismith was -laying well and was a bad loss. At the time a lot of us were glad to see the back of Lafferty and I am struggling to see why we would want him back. There must be better younger players that we could sign!

We also need a quality midfield player to replace Halliday and that should be our number one priority!

02 Jan 2017 16:47:31
Nic861

No Rangers player that played in the lower divisions got his leg snapped so stop making stupid posts like that.

03 Jan 2017 14:21:28
It was down to Davie Weir that Naismith left when he did.
Source: Naismiths bird/ wifes father on the Sandy Jardine walk to Hampden.

02 Jan 2017 12:18:42
Goodday chaps we all know they were the better team for the majority of the game but when we were on top in that opening half an hour, I honestly think if we had Novo and prso or naisy and a younger Kenny Miller u all see where I'm going with this. I honestly believe that's one of the most dominant half an hours ive seen from any rangers team and had we these guys of the past it could of been game over so early lol just my thoughts. :D

02 Jan 2017 12:47:20
Agree, a very good 30 minutes but let's not kid ourselves on, they definitely created more chances and, more importantly, scored a goal more than us to win the game which they deserved.

Thought Barrie McKay did particularly well but when he says we could have given Celtic a bit of a doing then I have to disagree. It's results that matter as I told my Celtic pals throughout the 90s when Tommy Burns teams could have given us a doing time after time by that logic but when we would generally hit them on the break and win under Walter.

We can go on putting a spin on results but I think we should just acknowledge that us challenging for the title is not on the horizon at the moment and concentrate instead on thinking up ways to bridge the gap.

What really annoys me is the fact we had been playing good and started winning games with hodson at right back and waggy who scored 3 in 2 but since warburton loves tav he decided to change the whole formation that we've had been trying to perfect for a year and a half just to fit tav in that team against st Johnstone and we droppped waggy!

02 Jan 2017 08:27:29
I think the players who keep coming out in the press saying the gap is getting closer, we have proved we can beat Celtic etc are living in dream world, we can only just match st Johnstone at the moment and unless we get huge investment I am worried the gulf will stay for years to come. The tactical decisions being made by MW and DW are a joke which are leaving the team vulnerable all over park.

02 Jan 2017 11:02:33
It's only going to get wider, Celtic will spend big this January, Rodgers said he want to bed in new players before next seasons cl qual, that was our only chance to beat Celtic this year, as we don't have money to spend.

02 Jan 2017 11:29:47
Won't necessarily mean they will get stronger, they can't improve much more and sometimes teams that spend when on top actually go back the way, it's happened to us before.

02 Jan 2017 12:23:49
I think the delusion of your players and management is a big part of your problem! I mean uve got wee Barry McKay coming out this morning and saying yous could have gave us a doing on Saturday! I honestly couldn't believe what I was reading! A doing hahaha what total and utter nonsense! your reality is fighting Aberdeen and to a lesser extent hearts for 2nd. this there isn't much difference between the teams stuff is just embarrassing! The table doesn't lie and not just the points tally either, check the goal difference to! We are on a different level at the movement and a major reality check is needed from your players! A doing! Hahahaha.

02 Jan 2017 12:53:14
Disagree if you like I am just stating that teams don't always go from strength to strength just because they keep recruiting, maybe unlikely but they can't have a better start to a season anyway and that is a fact.

02 Jan 2017 12:55:03
Spending big means nothing. Do you honestly think they are as good as the Chris Sutton makes out?

02 Jan 2017 13:08:57
Joscro how is it a fact? We could have had a better start because we dropped 2 points at Inverness! Next season we'll be looking to remedy that lol. so it's not a fact we can't make a better start! And again your clutching at straws if u think us strengthening won't make us stronger! We will be stronger by the end of this window, make no mistake about that!

02 Jan 2017 13:16:45
Mckay was right, could have been convincing.

02 Jan 2017 13:35:39
Lads Celtic are looking at better calibre players now spending more Rodgers has clearly stated the phones been ringing from agents wanting there best prospects to come to Celtic to ply there trade as wee give them a great platform to show there class. the money wee get for van dijk will be rodgers January money. How many calls do u think yous have had let's be honest your lines probably cut off ps. Unlucky on Saturday good performance from McKay yous made a game of it take care all.

02 Jan 2017 13:42:28
Read my post iit's a fact won't get a better start next season's is what I said, what are you lot like?

02 Jan 2017 13:43:04
You don't know that for a fact about being stronger, make no mistake!

02 Jan 2017 13:50:49
What could have been more convincing? U didnae win 😂😂😂 we had double the shots and 3 times the amount of corners! U crack me up pal lol, it's gullible supporters like u that's part of your clubs problem! U can't see what's clearly in front of you!

02 Jan 2017 14:13:21
Doh we had chances to go more than 1up, is that not more convincing, sure you lot can see what's in front of your faces? MY e that's part of the problem.

02 Jan 2017 14:17:52
Joscro u really brighten up my day with your garbage! Read your own post back! U didn't say won't make better start u said can't! And I said yes we can because we dropped 2 daft points and next season we'll be looking to remedy that by taking maximum points! I know the thought of that hurts but try and not get urself to down in the dumps about it! Lol.

02 Jan 2017 14:25:33
You brighten mine with your garbage, you still don't get it do you?
And the chances of that happening are unlikely, bleeding hell.

02 Jan 2017 14:28:22
Hahahaha guttin myself here! Part of what problem? We don't have any problems! lol.

02 Jan 2017 14:47:03
At the present time Rodgers doesn't need to bring in any new players to stay ahead of us in the league. He is in the fortunate position that we were in historically where if he wants he can bring in one or two quality players, spend decent money and secure a player that is statistically more likely to be a success.

We, on the other hand, will continue to look for raging pro's or hope to pick up one or two gems from the lower leagues at little or no cost outlay. We might be lucky but recent history shows that this is unlikely.

Right now we still have a number of players that are no more than Championship level at best and unfortunately they are in key positions.

We don't have a leader on the Park, we run the risk of losing any young players, (like McKay), if someone comes in with a decent offer and despite his comments to the contrary we have yet to see any meaningful investment by King, in the quality that is needed, to take us forward never mind compete with Celtic.

We see criticism of Warburton but Celtic moved for Rodgers presumably because they saw Warburton as a threat and how can we expect to compete when he has both hands tied behind his back in the transfer market.

We need a quality full back, a quality centre back, two quality defensive midfield players, an attacking midfield player and a striker. Does anyone really see us signing even two quality players!

02 Jan 2017 14:50:34
Get what? Go on tell me what I don't get! And don't come on and say it would take to long to explain blah blah blah! Go on tell me what I don't get! I would really love to hear what u think I don't get! It would be some laugh! Haha.

02 Jan 2017 00:19:55
Kiernan and hill been our best players for good few weeks now. Yes kiernan did a mistake in st johnston but never cost us the game. Wee had our chances to win it yes but that's football. Ramgers fans who thought wee would cole straight up to challenge celtic in the first place must be off there heads.

only fault a would say wee had on sat would be tav he is worse than a man down he think he's better than he is thos season hs shown tht the players wee had in our squad are nothing but championship players aport from a few.

We need more money in january to get players who are willing to put there body on the line for the jersey and willing to fight right to the end!

02 Jan 2017 00:57:55
How can u say that, Keirnan and Hill were to blame for Celtics first goal. They were both marking the same player. They forgot to mark celtics best player. Embarrassing.

02 Jan 2017 07:30:20
You're wrong eezyeez. Clint and Keirnan were sound. Warburtons game plan as usual left the back line exposed. Shocking tactics.

02 Jan 2017 08:10:20
It was wilson who was at fault for the first goal, he leaves the striker at the back post and jumps under the ball.

02 Jan 2017 10:06:59
Don't no what game you were watching. It was wilson who left dembele. So it's embarrassing that you said that.

02 Jan 2017 10:49:50
Wilson got caught under the ball. I agree Kiernan and Hill have been good the past few weeks.

02 Jan 2017 11:04:27
Spot on, Wilson had moussa, but I still don't understand why hodson never started.

02 Jan 2017 11:33:33
Wilson was at fault for the first goal but would that have happened had Wallace been playing? Second goal was down to Tavernier who is poor defensively but, and keep repeating this, if we had two quality midfield players rather than Halliday and Holt our defence would have a lot more cover and we wouldn't lose as many goals. What is more we would most likely score more. Halliday didn't even have the guile on Saturday to get Brown a second booking and that would have reduced them to ten men and taken off one of their quality players. The guy was booked early on yet no one had the intelligence to get in his face and pressure him. At the end of the day and it pains me to say it he showed the fighting qualities that our captain lacks.

02 Jan 2017 11:31:08
the way it looked to me was leading up to the goal wilson was marking dembelle then didn't follow him moving away from the pack then he was left on his own to score.

02 Jan 2017 11:46:50
Eezyeez, it was danny wilson who was too blame for dembele's equalising goal on hogmanay mate! He was marking dembele and lost him and got somehow sucked into trying to help clint hill out who was marking his man! Instead of trying to help hill out, who didn't need help, he should have stuck with dembele! So there you go mate!
