Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

02 Jun 2018 22:27:36
with the players linked I'd favour this formation.

. McGregor

. Goldson? ?

Tavenier. John

Jack McCrorie

Candeias Arfield Murphy

. McBurnie?

Keep :- Wes Wallace Docherty Rossiter Dorrans Windass Cummings

Out:- Alnwick Cardoso Alves Martin Hodson M'oH Pena Morelos Herrera Dalcio Dodoo

imo i see at least 2 players coming in at above 3M and 3 to 5 on loan

thoughts guys.

02 Jun 2018 23:40:16
Alnwick is better than Wes. Getting rid of our 21 year old top goalscorer because of his sulky looking face is madness

{Ed0333's Note - if clubs start selling players based on looks then Spurs will be looking for a new striker.

02 Jun 2018 23:59:11
ForzaRFC, you mentioned that you would keep Wes, my question is if McGregor is now our number 1 goalkeeper do you think Wes will hang about and be 2nd fiddle?

03 Jun 2018 00:07:41
Alnwick out morelos out never herd so much nonsense young players with bags of potentia and value iw

03 Jun 2018 01:26:46
Alnwick is better than Wes what planet are you on

03 Jun 2018 08:35:51
Why keep Candeias he is rotten

03 Jun 2018 08:38:49
Forza you realise our weakest point is defence and youve basically started with 1 defender in goldson as tav n john are almost like wingers absolute madness fingers crossed u were on the tonic

03 Jun 2018 09:59:29
This Goldson must be some player if he can cope with Tav and john bombing forward by himself.

03 Jun 2018 11:35:46
wes is a terrible goalkeeper not commanding in the box and he couldn't catch a cold

03 Jun 2018 12:06:44
If fit then I reckon Rossiter will start and I am hoping to see at least one quality older player in the starting line up. We also don't know who if anyone we will secure from Liverpool and if we get someone like Solanke then they will almost definitely start. Squad will need to be significantly better than last year and guys like Halliday and Holt should be used as makeweight for better quality players.

02 Jun 2018 20:23:44
A Rumour I had seen tonight was JD are to be our retailer.
Twitter: Rangers Loyal.

{Ed0333's Note - Jack Daniels?

02 Jun 2018 21:58:17
Heard the same mate! Heard its not a particularly long retail partnership as rangers want to eventually take it back in house, to where it should be!

02 Jun 2018 22:40:01
Super is that the same source that said it was under armour to be are next manufacturer? lol hope this is true tho 😃

02 Jun 2018 23:12:32
Yes it is!

03 Jun 2018 01:22:18
As of 1st August JD Sports will be the official retailer for Rangers.

03 Jun 2018 01:22:48
Well it's not going to happen then 😂

03 Jun 2018 06:40:36
Think Ashley has shares in jd if so think he is still involved in the retail deal

03 Jun 2018 08:37:05
Jimmy1967

Ashley seems to have shares in everything apart from us thankfully

03 Jun 2018 08:45:35
Pretty sure JD sports is connected to sports direct.

03 Jun 2018 12:12:46
Sports Direct owns 6% of JD Sports. Pentland Group is the major shareholder with 58% of the stock.

02 Jun 2018 18:52:51
hope we get drawn against the mob that put us out last year in the Europa.

02 Jun 2018 19:33:21
That will be a good way to check the Progres we have made

02 Jun 2018 21:58:23
😂😂😂

03 Jun 2018 06:24:35
Brb, I'll respond properly after my dinner, neiderkorn on the cob.

02 Jun 2018 16:09:10
O. K would just like to put out there a list of players I think we should be looking to sign that are realistic.
Bartley Goldson Souter Caulker
Cadden McGeouch Jones McBurnie Duelund Alex Denny Rhodes plus adding the likes of Solanke and Wilson in on loan we will look good for next season. Yes I have picked most of these players from the media but believe these are all within our reach. only my opinion so tell me what you disagree with.

02 Jun 2018 17:46:25
Whats all the hype about the young lad Solanke? 1 goal in 30 appearances, can't get excited about that to be honest.

02 Jun 2018 21:21:26
I've said steven caulker all along him and bartley or golson has any one seen the videos of goldson before his heart problem? Young player of the year and what a big FAST unit 3 million is buttons. Get him in never mind yer terrys, collins skyrtl any two of them three and uve got a heel of a scary back line. We are forgetting these boys have great experience already even at 24,25.

02 Jun 2018 22:42:04
People you think? You just put out a whole list of everyone we have been linked with lol

03 Jun 2018 09:49:01
As I said in my post most names are from media. Cadden Souter and Caulker aren't. All on manageable wages and are realistic. Who would you think we should be signing Deanobear?

02 Jun 2018 15:12:32
Morelos Morelos Morelos . let's give him another half season under Stevie. we could have a diamond here let's try and give it a polish . let's try and give him our support . I really beleive the guy will come good . strange country . language and the circumstances he had to endear last year losing his mentors in millar and Pena the boy felt increasingly isolated . I think he will come on to greatness next season . show them Morelos . let's go alfredo .

02 Jun 2018 16:25:09
Agree totally mols"" said it aw year, he remembers me of ally mccoist's first season" give him pelters aw you want but he never hides after a miss like plenty other forwards do

02 Jun 2018 18:07:52
I've said a few times his form dipped when Miller got injured.

02 Jun 2018 19:06:35
Thanks hms and Marco . glad to see more positive comments on him keep the faith

02 Jun 2018 19:07:24
Think Morelos could come good. He will be fitter that's for sure with new managers training methods from what we are being told.

02 Jun 2018 20:28:25
Folk on here know I'm a fan of Morelos. 77 games in Europe scored 41 goals. Yes missed plenty.
That record proves he knows way to goal, needs to work on heading, offside and one on ones with keeper
Give me a twenty year old all day who can develop with good coaching.
We should not be in a rush to sell unless for big money. I. e. seven million. One day we will se him at a World Cup and say remember he played for us.

02 Jun 2018 21:23:27
Morelos is a player whoever says he has a bad attitude because he hates getting beat should check the reason they support rangers sometimes ill no leave the house . he's strong as an ox and works his balls off could do witb polishing but a real gem.

02 Jun 2018 22:42:54
Grumpy needs to stay!

02 Jun 2018 23:41:37
Youre bang on there skidneybroon

03 Jun 2018 06:31:19
I watch a lot of Scandinavian football and in Finland Morelos was very similar to here, rough as all hell but the boy can finish when his mind is right and has a lot of pace, I think with us he was thrown in at the deep end too early and even though he done fairly well with some time and polish I'm sure he'll come good, he definitely works better with a 2nd guy up front though sort of in a McCoist and Hateley type partnership.

03 Jun 2018 08:36:42
F-U, I don't like to be pedantic mate0 but I'm going to be pedantic; Finland ain't Scandinavia. Nordic yes, Scandinavian no. Agree with your point about Morelos though.

02 Jun 2018 14:48:14
SG at Toulon tournament.
He might be scouting.
But do you think he will be watching Scotland U21s as Rangers are well represented.

02 Jun 2018 15:14:57
Doing his final coaching badges so has tasks involving watching games will no doubt be watching for potential signings as well. Rangers will have scouts there watching well

02 Jun 2018 13:20:46
Just wanted to know the thoughts of other bears on Kenny Miller. Went out with a wimper after a bust up with murty. Surely we have to show a bit more respect to the man for all he has done for the club?

02 Jun 2018 15:15:00
I agree with you Rfc_Chris! Without being privy to what actually went on, regarding kenny miller and lee Wallace, i still think kenny miller should have been given the chance, to say his goodbyes, to the rangers supporters! He's been a model professional for glasgow rangers over his 3 spells with the club! Miller is an absolute thoroughbred, who's still as fit as a fiddle! For all he's given his beloved rangers over the years, imo he deserved his chance to say his cheerios to us! The board should have shown him a wee bit more respect!

02 Jun 2018 15:19:16
Good servant to the club over many years, but can't help notice the 'leaks' dried up after him and LW were frozen out.
Coincidence?

02 Jun 2018 15:25:30
Well it would depend exactly why he was suspended in first place and not just rumours

02 Jun 2018 15:56:17
Some of the rumours being released were the absolute truth and the way the club was being Managed by ametuers like Pedro and Murty was a disgrace and these guys should never have been anyway near our club🇬🇧🇬🇧

02 Jun 2018 17:56:18
On Kenny, thanks for all your efforts and it’s a sad way to bow out but it is how it is and no dramatic farewell is required. If he’d been available in the last few games he’d have been on the bench at best wouldn’t have got on due to the close nature of all those matches. I wish him well and hope no one at the club bears him a grudge. If he moves into management then hopefully we’ll send some boys on loan to him.

For LW take your fine and start a fresh under Stevie, if he rates you then we move forward, if not then goodbye and see you in court for whatever you feel u are owed!

02 Jun 2018 19:29:05
Don't have a problem with miller, on the field he's done alright. Off the field he's obviously been a bit of a sh*t stirrer. No need to mourn him leaving.

02 Jun 2018 19:55:55
Miller has been a great servant to the club and deserved much better than what happened to him. The whole suspension was a joke and not the way our club should be run. Murty was shown up for being totally inept and can’t imagine Miller or Wallace said anything that bad. The actions of Halliday and Candeias were far worse and nothing happened to either

02 Jun 2018 20:29:57
Artur d my info from someone in dressing room was Murty was not there when both players slaughtered the team

03 Jun 2018 08:40:21
Jboy

Never said he was there just can’t imagine what either said was any worse than the actions of Halliday or Candeias but nothing happened to them

02 Jun 2018 09:26:10
SG saying he's not wanting to encourage bids for Tav and Windas, anybody think this is true or just a smoke screen to encourage higher bids?
Personally i would not mind if either or both went.

02 Jun 2018 10:55:52
I think Tav played really well against hibs but bottom line is he leaks goals at the back which costs games so wouldn’t bother me if he went but I think SG will keep him. Windass should go and stay with his dad down south. He’s too inconsistent and doesn’t play in big games

02 Jun 2018 11:11:08
Why don’t we play him further up the pitch and buy a right back that just defends? . Tav

02 Jun 2018 12:34:10
We can't get rid of the whole team, tavernier was probably one of the better players over the season and i think he will get better with better players around him, windass is extremely frustrating as there is a player in there but consistency has been his problem, hopefully stevie g can get there confidence sky high and we can get the best out of them.

02 Jun 2018 12:49:27
Ryan Jack started his career at right back. I would play him there

02 Jun 2018 12:56:52
I think you will find Tav is the highest performing full back in the league, left side or right. (Queue the obsessed mouth foam) . The stats do not lie.

He has improved defensively this season also, the CB's and our midfield which is soft as sh*te is the reason why we have lost so many goals. Tav is one of our best players, a complete clear out is not the way forward, keep the good players and add better quality to replace the ones that are good enough.

02 Jun 2018 15:00:19
Tav is much better when mcorrie played in midfield as ross, s natural instinct is to defend so he would natuarally cover . tav cannot be counted in a defensive line or role but has still great value to offer in the team . windass too . asked to do to much . I would keep windass as an impact player and try him for 30 mins second half for a spell

02 Jun 2018 15:58:46
Maybe not rangers class but there would be 7 or 8 out the door before them

02 Jun 2018 16:57:57
Id definitely give tav ago futher forward or in midfield the way we changed ricksen as he's definitely a threat running with ball and good engine but defensive positioning let's him down

02 Jun 2018 16:59:30
Have read and enjoyed posts here for a long time but this is my first post so go easy guys if you disagree. I’m with MOLS suggestion. I’m old enough to remember Sandy Jardine come into the first team. He was almost a general use player but mainly midfield then some time as centre forward, always hard working but not fast. When by necessity he was moved to right back he was totally transformed and was widely thought of as one of the best full backs In the world. I’m not say Ryan Jack would reach that level but why not? Nobody thought it of Jardine. MM played him there for Scotland and I thought apart from one mistake he had a really good solid game. Tav has just not got the concentration to be counted on when needed in defence but in front of a competent full back I think he’d excel, he’s good going forward. With Candias as back up we’d be well covered RM. just my thought guys.

02 Jun 2018 19:58:25
Jon bear
Jardine is the best right back the club has ever had

02 Jun 2018 22:46:11
Shows he don't know are league going on the hype of windass from down south probably

02 Jun 2018 23:19:57
100% agree Arthur he was recognised far beyond our shores as world class. Was privileged to watch him.

03 Jun 2018 01:30:47
I'd keep both unless an offer of crazy money came in. Not going to have a lot of time to find quality replacements before the 12th July and despite what many (including myself) have thought of both at time's the amount of goals they were both involved with can't be taken for granted.

02 Jun 2018 08:34:42
Just been watching clips of Morelos from the season and although still young and raw I genuinely believe there is a player there. Yeah he’s missed some glaring chances but in my opinion in his first season at his age gave us a pretty decent return. People say he has a bad attitude? Where is the evidence? Because he looks sick and raging when he misses a chance? Would we rather he laughed? Think he’s more disgusted with himself to be fair. Sure he has his critics going by other posts but can’t really question his effort in the lone striker role surely lads?

02 Jun 2018 08:53:54
Agree with you there is a player there. His hold up play is class. he's a good all rounder love to miss a sitter tho. And to say wheres the evidence of him being huffy. Its there for all to see. His head goes down and stops trying. that's a fact.

02 Jun 2018 09:07:57
Echo the comments above. Given a rest a good pre season and some better players around him will develop into some player for us. Just needs to tuck a goal away against the tic and will not look back.

02 Jun 2018 09:16:42
yes think he could become a real class act.

02 Jun 2018 09:34:12
He’s carrying too much weight, his bmi is the worst at the club. Once he sheds a few pounds and improves his conditioning his overall game and sharpness will improve and hopefully with it his attitude. I think it’s still 50/ 50 him staying or going. Stevie G will bring in a no1 striker.

02 Jun 2018 09:39:39
Disagree massively, what I saw was a guy out of shape slow and technically poor, would even go as far as saying he runs like a ****in elephant, I saw a moany greeting faced wee idiot who’s never turned up against anyone decent, he’s not Rangers class and anything over 4 million should be accepted straight away

02 Jun 2018 09:43:53
You don't get 4 mill for gash players unfortunately

02 Jun 2018 09:46:38
I don't think he has a bad attitude, I think he just looks like that, probably a mixture of being frustrated at missing chances and being knackered with all the chasing and running about up front on his own,
Just wait until the new coach and fitness team get to work on him he will become a completely different player as will a few more players at the club,

02 Jun 2018 09:52:18
He’s not Rangers class but you want 4 million for him? Lol name 1 other Rangers player worth over 4 mil or do we just bin the entire squad?

02 Jun 2018 10:41:41
21 yr old with 89 games under his belt as a pro. A good few of these as A sub and a return of 43 goals. I think it's fair to say the boy is not gash.

02 Jun 2018 10:47:18
Not gash but on the same boat he’s not a world beater. Worth keeping if he wants to stay but if he wants to go then I’ll not lose any sleep

02 Jun 2018 11:06:31
For me his hearts not in it enough. You can’t walk about in an old firm game. That can’t happen. Gerrard might be able to change that though. One of his coaches (Beale) coached in South America. I think it was Brazil so he’ll get the mentality and might just be able to harness the lads potential. Fingers crossed

02 Jun 2018 11:10:59
After 18 games we loved him them bang all of a sudden it stopped. Same as windass. I believe playing with miller was the reason for all there goals to start with before he got injured. His stats on goals scored don't lie. Very frustrating player.

02 Jun 2018 12:58:35
Highest BMI at the club hahahaha. Sorry mate but you can't possibly know that, also they don't use BMI for athletes. Dear oh dear.

02 Jun 2018 16:00:43
What even is a bmi does that help u score.

02 Jun 2018 20:02:27
Agree with BearMode BMI is not a way to judge any athletes. You’ll find Anthony Joshua’s BMI would show him as obese which he clearly isn’t

03 Jun 2018 18:31:34
TGR i agree. He looked good for a while then turned into a moany wee child

Review Of The Day 2nd June 2018

02 Jun 2018 06:53:39

02 Jun 2018 19:23:32
