Why on tv is it showing only law as a newly registered renders player, what's happened with the rest?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Good question, was wondering myself. Also what happened with Pandza and hunt for another Goalkeeper.

Agree0 Disagree0

What league do renders play in?
and I believe Law signed for
Rangers
billy h

Agree0 Disagree0

They get registered the day after their contract with their previous club runs out. laws ran out on the 1st sept. the others will happen in the next few days

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Sep 2013 12:45:26
@3 utter nonsense if they still had contracts with other clubs they wouldn't be training at murray park. They are all registeted with rangers now.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Sep 2013 20:39:12
why do sum fans still think this board is good anuf to be in control of rangers the have blew every penny we have gave them use a seriusly deluded if u think these men are fit for purpose to run our club and its aditudedes like these that are letting them get away with it forget we are winning on the pitch that ain't the problem its the board that needs sorted before its to late again unite together and force them out not argue and squabble over stupid things

Believable0 Unbelievable0

02 Sep 2013 21:52:43
Are the RANGERS board paying players wages, are the board paying their bills, are the board paying tax & national insurance, because in my humble opinion hmrc will be keeping a very close eye with everything that is happening at IBROX, I don't know if any1 noticed but hmrc were very pissed off that they never won the big tax case, that's why they appealed it so you can bet your bottom dollar if they were not getting paid it would be in every tabloid going & every media outlet would be at the doors of IBROX but their not wonder why that is any1 care 2 reply

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 Are you f&%in for real mate. If you thought for one moment the that the IRS were not watching us with a microscope you would need to ne in cloud cuckoo cuckoo land.

Agree0 Disagree0

@1/ You just keep believing all is well chemical Andhol. The issue is not non payment of bills but the fact that paying them is costing more than is brought in.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Sep 2013 23:52:39
No 3 correct the issue is not the non payment of bills glad you agree with that, but how do you know what is coming in & what is going out, no 1 knows apart from the board, now I have heard a lot about the easdales so do you not think now that 1 of them is on the board that they will be keeping an eye on every single penny that comes in & out of club, now maybe this is just coincidence but since they have been on the board the usual suspects have went a bit quiet, the easdale brothers have built up quite a business empire & in my opinion they will not let our club go into admin, now I know everthing is not rosy & some1 has asked for egm, some1 with shares I may add so if that person has asked for this good we will see what has happened, so I have my opinion which could be wrong but I have 2 have facts from these people, not hear say on a rumours site you know how rumours start don't you & most of the time that's what they are rumours
No 2 don't know what the **** your talking about

Rangers recent visit to Stranraer, the bus stopped overnight at the Turnberry hotel,. A wee bit extravagent, considering the state of the clubs finances.
Its about time the directors and management of RFC have a reality check, Murray and BOS no longer our financial angels.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

My God where have you been? I know Stranraer is a camel ride from Glasgow but we are now on the internet. We had this discussion the week green got the sack. Keep up chap.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Sep 2013 21:34:14
@1 Green "got the sack" did he? And you're acting as if you can patronise other poster to "keep up". What page are you on?

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 think you may be getting caught up in the same. lol

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Sep 2013 16:34:39
@3 Nope, what I mean is green wasnt "sacked". He wasnt 'employed' in that consultancy role for starters (it was a contract to provide a service, so he was a contractor) so he couldn't have been "sacked". Secondly, and more importantly, if anyone thinks that it was some kind of "victory" against green then more fool them. Have we not learned yet that the guy is a slippery eel. He'll be back to haunt us.

Good to see larky and baybear back on the site! Always liked your opinions (didn't agree with all of them!) after all it is a democracy.
And guys you have a good point regarding the football the team are playing very well (rightly so!) and we are scoring goals aplenty so some good news amongst the doom and gloom. But I honestly believe you guys keep posting as your opinions are important and valid, although not everybody will agree. I will however still support the SONS OF STRUTH and try and keep the message alive, we really can't sit back and allow this "great stadium robbery" to continue as I think changes are imminent!

RR

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The feelings mutual, Cheers RR.
I'm in no way against any campaign to get clarity and honesty by the way and despite my initial sarcasm I feel George and co should feel very proud of their efforts so far. Just feel my natural skepticism is not of benefit to anyone at the moment so I'll probably be doing more reading and less posting for a bit.

Took ma wee lad to his first Rangers game at the weekend and it was brilliant sitting in BR 1 just behind the union bears the atmosphere was brilliant and ma wee boy who's only 4 really enjoyed himself keep it up union bears you make the atmosphere in ibrox for the full 90.

Tam-Sir 1873. Happy bear

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Nice one, the wee Man must have been buzzing! I found a wee story of my first game back in 1981, Ranger 4 Airdrie 1. Sandy Clark and Jim Steward played that day, and both their Son's played in the same fixture a couple of weeks ago! I was lifted over the old turnstile! The Roar, Davie Cooper, Robert Redford, Bobby Russell, pure magic! And the big diamonds on their tops, oh and pipe smokers! I'll never forget it. Me and ma Da.

Good on you Tam, a magic memory for you both to enjoy, forever.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good stuff mate really glad he enjoyed it. Union Bears are great if they don't bring out the old songbook, if they could make up some fun new chants and eliminate some
Of the old stragglers that they seem to think is acceptable, It would be much better for all surrounding the club. I'd love to stand up & sing The Blue Sea of Ibrox & Follow Follow in the Govan but I'd get told to sit down or have everyone look stare at me like il no right. It's not even the fact no ones interested in the teams were playing it was the same In the SPL the full stadium only joins in against Celtic or unless now were in lower divisions play an SPL side. It's a poor atmosphere without them but there's big room for improvement. No fed up of the toilet roll chucking yet lads?

Larky Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

Ah Bobby Russell. An absolute class act.

Agree0 Disagree0

It is agood time to take kids to the fpotball kust now. I feel that inside the bitterness has eased. that's from dads tsking kids to both sides of the divide.

Yeah bobby and coop carried rangers thru a few seasons under griegy, who it has to be said had a dreadful time as manager, I remember a few times at free kicks outside the box when coop would sudenly flick the ball over the wall and bobby would hit it on the volley, great times even if griegys reign never really got going, we still got to watch the genius cooper develope into a wonderful player, the best ever in scotland IMO, and we had wee flipper (mclean) and parlane, dj and big mcloy, sandy, jaws, even billy urquart, hopeless but the heart of a lion, another nostalgic rant soz tommyblue,

Agree0 Disagree0

Best game I ever saw bobby russell play, rangers 3 psv 2 absolutely immense player, but he`s only my third as coop, n baxter come first n second in that order.

Agree0 Disagree0

Brilliant, the wee man will never forget his first visit. My first game was 1955 when we beat Airdrie at Ibrox, Johnny Hubbard and all.

Fellow bears in bearland my first hero growing up a RANGERS fan was alex macdonald a box to box midfielder who scored a good few goals in his time my favourite goal of his was the 1 he scored against juventus at IBROX, larky you are talking about singing songs well as far as football songs go you will not get a better song anywhere in world football than 4 men had a dream that song when sung makes every hair on the body stand up WATP
Andhol bears

Agree0 Disagree0

Bobby Russell was a superb player, very skilful and yet never once was capped for Scotland.

If he was playing today he'd be one of the first on Strachan's team sheet.

Agree0 Disagree0

@9 I agree it's a great song mate & I wasn't just having a dig for the sake of it sorry if anyone thought that. As the op said the union bears are great & make the atmosphere for 90mins but if there is songs sung at Ibrox which are unacceptable then there's only one direction fingers can be pointed as there the only ones singing. Tired of being branded bigots is all.

Ed - Question please.

Does anyone anywhere have incontrovertible proof that the Rangers Board and others as has been mentioned today are taking substantial sums out of the club?

Matt Crozier

Believable0 Unbelievable0

@ op
Be prepared to be shot down Matt
I have been asking same question
from things about the board to ally
and players wages for months and have
been shot down every time WERE IS
THE PROOF?
billy h.

Agree0 Disagree0

How else do you think we are losing the money we are.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't have incontrovertible proof, but it seems pretty obvious we are being sooked like a big milky diddy. "Does a bear do big meaty jobbys in the woods"?

Agree0 Disagree0

1, 2 and 3 -

I am not disputing the fact that something is going on; I am not disputing the fact that we need urgent change, and I am not disputing the fact that we need proper esteemed leadership, however, there has been a lot of hype over what is going on, but nothing concrete.

Someone posted this morning about an FM company coming in and milking huge amounts from the club. I find this truly incredible. How can a facilities company come in and take monies out with no control. If what is said is true then the police should be called in.

Facilities money is normally ring-fenced, and set aside for the day to day business, with plans for future maintenance, refurbishment and projects normally included. We know that the fabric and infrastructure of the building has been neglected, and will cost many thousands to bring up to Building Standard, perhaps this is now happening.

We need transparency and proper accounting - nothing else.

It is now wait and see for the accounts, until then we can only speculate.

If the accounts, once inspected, do not balance correctly then the authorities will investigate.

Follow the club and get behind the team.

Matt Crozier

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha Daddy Bear a "big milky diddy" love it. Ironic how with a name like that your the most immature on here. Lol

Larky Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

@op is the fact that there's 35 mill been spent in a year also the ipo money for repairs 9 mill a think they said then only spending half a mill without the repairs the stadium isn't at its best also they would have got money to do this for the commenwealth games also giving themselves 100% bonuses which they openly admit and you still ask for proof

Agree0 Disagree0

Matt its attitudes like yours that sees the club in the state its in, the let's leave it another while, its the attitude that's killing the club.

Agree0 Disagree0

Matt - until day whyte put rfc into admin. no-one knew what was happening.

this the issue - people knew but would not say anything.

Billionair spin, £30m war chest. all lies. to pull of the stitch up of existing shareholders, debenture holders and fans.

How is what's happening now any different. only statement on finances from board official. just over £10m left. when £22m ipo, and £12m pre-ipo announced.

do the math. wheres is all going. if we hit admin - we will never know!

Matt there's an obvious flaw in your stance. "Lets wait n see what the accounts tell us. " What if they don't produce audited accounts on time? Like previous 'overdue' accounts! What then? Give them some more time because only the accounts will be sufficient proof for the likes of you? Beginning to suspect you are a plant trying to put fans off mobilising RIGHT NOW.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Aug 2013 13:46:17
Ed can you clear something up for me?

Obviously CFC fans are going to continue to say we are a new club (wrongfully of course), but we can't change that and frankly it is boring now as we all know the truth as do they deep down. Everyone still says Rangers, TV, papers, ex Celtic players even. It must hurt them to see that even some of their own have accepted what they can't lol.

Anyway, my point is, wasn't our transfer embargo put in place because of administration? Therefore proving we are the same club given that we went in to admin in February, with the whole oldco/newco thing that coming in to play until July?

Cheers in advance. {The Ed039's Note - I am actually going to let you down a little here, the original transfer embargo was due to that, but then Duff & Phelps challenged it in court, the transfer embargo was accepted by Charles Green as one of the conditions for SFA registration)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ed what the guy is asking. Are Rangers in yourr opinion 140 years old. Simples. {The Ed039's Note - Yes)

Agree0 Disagree0

I wasn't sure anyway ed so thanks for clearing that up. For me it doesn't matter what anyone else says, an element of the Celtic support are the only people who haven't moved on and accepted that we are the same club. Media, fans of other clubs, our own fans. They all know we are still Rangers. A football club can not "die".

Agree0 Disagree0

So who are being liquidated by BDO? Why doe the official UEFA Websits show Rangers last game as a loss to St Johnsotone?

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi Dream Team, can u then explain what liquidation is then? Or if u the same club why u not in premiership? Yours is an OPINION facts seem to say otherwise. Anyway I don't think any fan of another team will accept you same club unless you pay your debts, and before you say other teams have been in admin not paid theirs yes I agree but they were smaller clubs who were forced into it. With Rangers it was clearly a choice as was liquidation.

Agree0 Disagree0

ED 039, Haven't seen you for a wee while, I gave Mrs Red a wee pat on the back last night for doing a great job now I feel bad, so well done to you too! The Ed's work away in the background making this a great wee site!

Anyway, do the supporters of that other team honestly believe that if they go into liquidation (financially speaking) that it's the death of them? I thought their team meant much more to them than that! Hopefully that should be enough on it's own to settle it.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Sep 2013 18:48:08
@5 They can cross that bridge if they come to it, until then your hypothetical imaginings of what they'd argue are worthless and certainly won't settle any debate. We crossed that bridge. The argument is whether the bridge was burnt down, or whether there is now only a bridge in the fans minds.

George I have been reading your replys and I think you are the 1 that is confused or you are trying 2 confuse people on this site, you state celtic have a 67,000 stadia wrong 60,000 going by your figures RANGERS have a 55,000 stadium as any bear will tell u 51,000 so that is a 9000 difference on sold out stadiums but I will give you a newsflash celtic get crowds of about 6 for games that are not champs league, I know you stay in London but don't believe the attendance figures in the papers, have a look on tv soccer Saturday when they go 2 Gerry mcculloch & you will get a laugh, they have shut a whole section of their stadium this season 2 save costs their fans were kicking up s*** about it, now who stole what that is in the past, what I care about is just now I want the answers that every1 else wants but I don't want guys like j. mcoll who have not put a penny into club & stated he won't put any money in, we could argue all day about it but I think you will notice the mud slinging in the papers has came 2 a halt the last few days wonder why, the board are open 2 blin coming in so he will be able 2 find out were the money has gone, now the reason I wanted a breakdown was, you state we are losing 105,000 per day is that because you have took the 22 mill divided by how many days or months they have been in charge & came 2 this figure, if you have every1 knows the board had 2 pay out s***loads when they took over so that is not their fault that is at cw door, or are they still burning this amount per day, so for the sake of confusion I wanted a breakdown, because call me a whatever you like but as other people have pointed out you go on about the past not the present just so I don't get confused, I like 2 have facts put in front of me then make up my own mind now you may be upset by this post but I will point out you have stated you will not attend another game until the current board are out, be careful what you wish for me I will continue 2 support my team every time they play at IBROX
Andhol bears

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Adhol Bears --

A very good coherent post. No ducking and diving; no gobbledy gook - just plain speak.

I have said previously and I will say it again - until the accounts are presented to the Stock exchange we do not know what is happening. We will all be enlightened when they do - Then and only then should the proverbial shyt hit the fan, if they are as bad as is being reported. Until then nothing will happen - no proof!

Once that has been done and the board removed et al (along with all the bits and pieces that Green is into) we can then move onto what Ally is or is not doing.

Small steps - simples.

Matt Crozier

Matt away stick your head under the covers, everybody knows rangers are losing fortunes.

I am not sticking my head under the covers, the sand or anywhere else you care to mention - I am stating fact!

I will say it again - until the books are opened and scrutinised it is all conjecture.

Support the team on and off the pitch!

No-one is asking anyone to support the board.

The average Rangers fan is not stupid!

Matt thanks for the reply m8, you see I believe in my opinion that people are trying 2 cause as much disruption as possible 2 suit their own agendas, I stated a couple of weeks ago I had just came back on this site the reason I stopped was it was the same s*** every day getting lectures from all the lawyers from the eastend, now the lawyers from over there can't even be bothered with the lawyers from over here, yesterday I posted about who superally would play up front 1 reply I got now larky bear posted about talking about football today also, don't know if he had any replies but if you have not larky, I think a great shout for the boy faure, I thought he played well last 5 games of last season I don't think he is a right back though, now unfortunately back to crusades this again may upset some people but I take my son & 2 of his friends 2 IBROX 2 of them are 12 the other is 9 I don't have time 2 be part of crusades, no offence 2 the boys who were handing out the flyers at berwick game but they had more plooks on their face than their age, remember boys I had plooks at your age also, so I would imagine they have plenty time on their hands, so if I can get facts put in front of me saying that s****hawk is plundering our club all we have so far is their wages & bonuses which I have said are obscene but they have said they are reviewing, then I will say get them 2 france if the evidence is provided, as you say until accounts are published nothing we can do.
Question for the boys who handed out flyers george has stated he will not attend another game till board is out this go for you's also you see I don't think it will because you's have passion for your club & I think this would hurt you's 2 much

Andhol bear just noticed your post mate. Things need said & done but the site isn't really about Rangers football team anymore really. That's why I started using it years ago to talk about the boys in Blue. Will feel sorry for Faure & Mcausland if they'd drop out to the new boys. Bit gutted we didn't manage to move on Argyriou & Cribari. Thanks for the reply mate your the only one.

Larky Bear {Ed001's Note - maybe it is time for a separate page for the discussions about the board so this can return to football talk?}

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Sep 2013 14:50:03
Ed 001 good shout m8 only problem is I don't think you would get many talking about football, cheers larky another young one who I thought played well at the weekend was robbie crawford, I must admit last year I didn't hold much hope for him but the guy jim henry we brought in has toughened these boys up by all accounts
Andhol bears {Ed001's Note - that's ok, it would at least enable those that do the ability to not get lost in the crowd. I will get a new page set up for the other posts now.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe Ed if that's how bad it's got. It's a shame that after admin liquidation & starting afresh In Division 3 were still talking about dodgy board members. I know I was one of the main culprits before but il leave it to the Sons of Struth boys from now on and read there posts intently. What's your personal opinion looking on as a neutral Ed would you think we are heading towards Admin 2?

Larky Bear {Ed001's Note - I would say that every club struggles in the lower leagues and lives hand to mouth all the time. It is just the way it is, so you will always be on the verge until you are back in the top flight. I do worry that there are too many players on the books at far too high a wage though, that really doesn't help. Especially as the whole club is structured for the Premier League. If you don't get promotion (highly unlikely but stranger things have happened) I would fear for the club, yes.}

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Sep 2013 17:07:13
Ed001 just when I thought I was going 2 talk football suppose it is larky bears fault he asked your opinion, Ed001 you say every club struggles in lower divisions correct but every club does not get 40k plus crowds every second week, now stick with me here merchants of doom if we have the 10 mill that stockbridge says we have in bank then that is wage bill taken care of for this season, with the crowds we get I would say we should be making about 5 mill through matchday tickets, hospitality etc so that is extra money in the bank, we have the new sponsorships, now as I have said before next season we will not be paying the same price for season tickets how much it will go up I do not know but it will put in another few million extra than the 10 mill they made this season for st, now next season superally will get rid of any dead wood at the club which will free up more wages if he wants 2 bring in better quality player & the wage bill should not go up much, these are the reason I believe the k. prior who seen the business plan thinks it will work I am no expert & I want openness & honesty in the boardroom the same as every1, so I wish people would look at this & think about things logically I think they do though because I have posted this a couple of times & haven't had many replys, just don't think it suits some peoples agenda & I must say I was not surprised when I never got a reply from the sons of struth when I asked about if they were going 2 attend the games grow a set boys because I want you's in IBROX supporting RANGERS maybe I should use upper case a bit more then people might take notice
Andhol bears {Ed001's Note - we have a financial page now, so any new posts talking about the finances can go on there from now on.}

Fair play to Strachan selecting him though I doubt he'll be in the starting lineup or even likely play. I did tell doubters when he got the job that the man wasn't anti-Rangers. {The Ed039's Note - Strachan is a football man, there will be no anti Rangers at all from him, even although Lee Wallace is the best left footed left back Scotland have, it is his competition level that is not getting him selected in original squads)

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree with ed, strachan is a football man, he would much rather rangers were in top division, lee Wallace is the only rangers player worthy of a call up.

Agree0 Disagree0

Competition level should come into being picked, doubt there will be many Belgians playing 2nd division football. McCulloch stayed with you for whatever reason and good luck to him but he knew his International fate immediately. {The Ed039's Note - Nobody said anything about McCulloch)

Ed since I have been abroad this banter page has changed somewhat. Glad to see George seems to be making headway and gaining support but where did this Super Ally guy Matt come from? Where has Baybear, Larky Bear and Gaz gone? Bring them back please the banter has definitely suffered with their absence

Believable0 Unbelievable0

They prob the same as me and sick of the sons of struth rubbish that have hijacked the page and visit page less. Wouldn't mind if it was new stuff, but the flyers I've seen are just stuff that was in the papers a few months ago.

@1 what did you do about it when you seen it in the papers? Probably nothing, your 1 of the fans that probably thinks everything is alright with the club, at least the sons of struth are trying to do something about the crooks, what are you doing?

Agree0 Disagree0

Gaz and banter do not go together. He's the most boring poster ever.

Agree0 Disagree0

I am supporter of Rangers Football always have been always will be. I will always stand up for my club when I think they are being demeaned, like the so called fans who are trying to upset and unsettle the football at the club by trying to oust Ally.

'@1 this as you say is old stuff that may be, but I think the point of that 2nd flyer SPIVS OUT was to say that these people knowingly stole from rangers, and the S. O. Still here mate just had a busy few weeks & as some other posters have said the sites been took over. I don't use the social Network that there on so I've never seen the page. Managed to get a flyer on Saturday I was late to the game because of work & it's great what the sons of struth tried to do but I seen more people rejecting them than taking them. The stuffs mainly allegations I know not to trust the "Spivs" but I am not convinced by the what I've seen from the Flyers & Scribd page, Sorry lads but it's true. Anyway here's a spiffing idea let's talk about Football for a change, Crazy I know. Anyone who knows me will know I don't have my head in the sand but believe it or not I do like to talk about the team. Good performance on Saturday. Congrats to Jog on his 1st Hatrick 3 cracking headers. Wonderful goal by Clark on his Home Debut when was the last time we got in behind & scored like that? We never managed to get in behind even once after that. Cracking strike by McLeod got bums off seats. Player performances I thought Black was upto his old tricks sat too deep made some poor passes set prices were woeful must have had a line on. Templetons far too lightweight wins us a lot of fouls but seems to be getting bullied constantly. Last thing I want to say about Saturday is I think it will be a crying shame if Foster replaces Mcausland at right back the lad had a great game and has really impressed me. Same with Faure looks like he's developing well made a excellent slide tackle on the last man in the box I'm the 1st half think il go out on a limb & say he should be in the team before Jig & Cribari at the back now Mohsnis in. Also gpod to see him bring on the young boys when were up convincingly. Transfer Deadline day today hope we can keep a hold of Lee Wallace think a bid will come in from somewhere feel it in my bones. Anyone think there will be any other movement on players out like Cribari, Perry etc? Good win for your team yesterday Ed bet you enjoyed that one bit of a pattern forming
1-0 Sturridge if Rooney & Welbecks in that England team before him Hodgson should just give it up now.

Just a bit bored with the chat mate, and scunnered with the whole fiasco to be honest. Well done to the boys making a stand but like Larky I'm not hearing anything new. Probably best if I just keep my own council like I said in my last post. Don't use FB either so have no opinion on the chat from the SOS page. Folk were bound to be sick of listening to my drivel anyway. Football's been better but so it should be with the new personnel we have. Remember where we are and who we're playing against. Think Ally is being indulged for all the wrong reasons.

Baybear I agree with you again
Mate and sometimes time away from this site is needed. At no point have I forgot who where & what there getting paid for playing but it is nice to chat about the games for a wee change. What about that Big Striker for East Fife got to be one of the worst players I've ever seen lol?

@10 aye he's a belter but to be fair he's probably on £40 p. w and a half pizza supper bonus.
@11- Suppose you're right mate but the clue is in the word 'occasional'.
Sometimes too much time on here turns me into a right miserable old b@5tard!

10 bears had a dream
Of a leaflet that had to be seen
They had no name a text
Or even a call
But they still carried on
And Sons of Struth was born
1000 likes in 5 days and they're still going strong.

Although not my intention, it has been mentioned to me that op may appear I'm trying to compare our group to be compared to the founding fathers. I can see why this may been seen that way.

Our group could never a achieve what the gallant pioneers achieved and apology to anyone who thinks we may feel we are trying to promote ourselves in that way.
