Reading some posts on here excusing Fredo behaviour today. He's well paid pro no use to us in Bath. His behaviour must have adverse effect on team members. If you want to take it to nth degree also affect youth. I'm swinging towards sale and allow SG bring in his own man.

No I don't agree with selling him, he has to be made to understand that he can't do that, he can't put his teammates in that position, when we needed our players to have as easy a time as possible so they had more energy for Sunday, 2 of our players decided that they would do something silly. I will say that while he has to learn, the ref could not wait to send Morelos off and then Flanagan his second yellow was never a booking.

Don't think we should be too hard on Fredo. The ref (and linesmen) were already having a shocker, allowing the offside goal, giving our boys no protection from the hammer throwing tactics of Ufa and then not penalizing them for constant simulation. Fredo then goes in and wins a shoulder to shoulder challenge to get in on goal and he gets pulled back for a foul. You can see he's frustrated and to be fair, he tries to walk away instead off having a go at the ref. Ok, he threw his arms up, but how is that a red card?

Was stupidity it's my pet hate that kicking the ball away in a huff it's a booking every time. your going to get booked make sure it's not for something silly like thar. He doesn't try to walk away he reacts n clearly says something was absolute stupidity from him. Let's all give him the benefit of doubt but he really has got to get his discipline sorted out.

To be fair mate we were lucky not to concede 3 or 4 today, we also can't keep 11 men on the park, which at this stage is worrying, I thought Flanagan was caught out for pace a lot today so I don't know if I would maybe rather have Barasic at LB, but I suppose you are right in the sense that we can't just go there to defend so we will have to get at them whenever we can. It's ashame Coulibaly isn't going to be playing as I think he is probably the only guy we have that might be able to stand up to Brown, I am hopeful but apprehensive as I don't think I could handle another drubbing.

We don't force the game, we keep possession, we hunt in packs when we lose the ball, we attack with energy and defend with intensity. We'll need seven or eight players at the top of their game, but we have a couple to bring in to replace tired legs, including Barasic, Lafferty and maybe at least one new signing. Oh, and we'll need the referee to be impartial.

Again our manager steven gerrard absolutely class, in his post match interview! We've most certainly got a class act as our manager and i truly believe he's building something special here! As a rangers supporter, i'm very proud of stevie G and our team! The whole team did fantastic but i have to mention how this particular player, is just getting better and better, over the last 3 games he's been immense, ovie ejaria! This young attacking midfielder is so very skillful and taking his game to another level! Stevie G said how good ejaria was, when we signed him on loan, we are now seeing what he was talking about! He's a terrific talent!

I agree, Jaws, as I did then. He's an academy boy just promoted to a far higher level of football and we knew it would take him time to get up to the right speed of thought and action. He's done remarkably well so far and will get even better over the next few months if the thugs disguised as footballers in our league don't damage him.

I can't believe how well SG is in pre/ post match commentary. very dignified, polite, calm and comes across as an absolute gentleman. Just listened to SG post match interview on Rangers TV and the man just oozes class. He gets what this football club is all about. Just think what he could have achieved with Pedro's £10 million? Regards Sunday, do you think Morelos will play as the orcs will be out to wind him up and unfortunately, he will retaliate and no doubt see red again. I'd play Lafferty in his place as he can be a target man if needed, can hold the ball up and I think he scares their defence and has a knack of scoring against them. My team for Sunday

this season so far shown again to be our top man for goals. and now because he's had 2 red cards. well 1. as the other got recinded.
but everyone call g for his head. there a few posts the other day saying he's being called up to nataionl team more money. ( yeah I see that. ) but the young man wants to play for us and will not be bullied about for me let's go.
Morelos won't be a big name in the future but he will be a big hit with us fans. just remember the boys came from a country that's tough. now he's in Scotland wanting to kick Scott Brown's ass.

fifaguy, as far as morelos is concerned, I would never call for his head, but Stevie G can't play him on sunday, because he will definitely be targeted for abuse, and unfortunately he will retaliate. We will need 11 players on the pitch for 90 minutes. I would play lafferty up front, older/ wiser head, and want to get it right up them.

I wouldn’t call for his head but he can’t be trusted. I think his link up play and holding the ball up is outstanding but he’s not an out and out goal scorer for me. Ye he’s got 6 goals but 3 were against st mirren. Not for a minute saying he’s a bad player but he went through a wee purple patch at start of last season then Bailey scored rest of year.

Petulant and silly today, but no worse than I have seen a million times before from virtually every player at some point, and can't rememner the last time i seen a player go off for dissent- I'm presuming that referee spoke Spanish as I'm pretty sure Fredo doesn't speak German. So considering the other one was rescinded, to date in his career he has a single solitary red card - he just needs a talking to and experience.

The boys firey temperament is great to watch.
However his reactionary anger is a worrying.
I think that selling him on for 5/ 6 million would be an error. Look at Suarez for an example of how a hot headed full bloodied athlete can (when surrounded by th right people) control their temperament.
Morelos is a unique talent for me and given the right coaching and a desire from himself to improve himself and his temperament could earn himself a huge move and more importantly for us a significant fee for our club.
Having said that though I really want see him continue to improve and play at our club for years to come.

Goldson, Katic, Mgregor and Jack were great again tonight but for me what I like about the squad is how everyone is playing their part.
Halliday deserves a lot of praise, he is not going to be a starting player for this team but what a guy to have in the squad will always give his all and is not letting the team down when he comes on and has shown great character to come back from a lot of stick last year from Celtic and Rangers fans, I'm pleased for the guy. I imagine SG has had such a great influence on the likes of Halliday and Jack. Ejaria too is getting better with every game. Europa league group stages is a brilliant achievement! We can look forward to the draw tomorrow.

I quite agree and ejaria is starting to look like some player the last few matches. Flanagan was having a nightmare before his red card, looked like last seasons full backs, ball over the top to the wide men catching him out of position constantly. backs to the wall stuff, but we are a different animal to last season. I don't really know what to say about morelos!

Listened to the game on a train from London. Longest journey of my life. No one else in the slightest bit interested - but me with sweats, heart pounding, nausea, dodgy stomach and tadger the size of a thimble. Personally i like morelos and think if you took that edge away he'd lose something as a player (like rooney when he was in his prime or even Diego Costa) not that I'm saying freddo is @ that level mind u! Can't believe the amount of "fans" calling for Morelos and Flanagan to be sold.
The passion and fight is there for all to see and when compared to last year it's fantastic.
We can't have softies playing for us and whilst Morelos was petulant I can understand his frustration as he takes a battering all game but is penalised constantly when he throws his weight around because the refs are conned by the defenders.
Same with Flanagan, very soft second booking - his opponent was leading with the arm and would have clattered Flan except Flan got the jump on him. 50/ 50 in my book.
Anyway, keep the team together, add another few and bash on on all fronts.
