Right here we go, come tomorrow or Mon there is going to be a surprise! If it's not MOH it'll be someone else that will catch us all by surprise. The Billy King deal came totally out the blue! Why not another? If it's not MOH who might it be?

31 Jan 2016 08:27:16
warburton was in my brothers taxi last night. Gave nothing away apart from a good tip.

30 Jan 2016 23:11:33
As per usual I was at our game against falkirk today and thought we were well below par and quite fortunate to take all 3 points but hey that's the sign of champions, I thought we missed holt and halliday badly! As far as I'm concerned I'd be perfectly happy to sign a defensive midfielder only before the transfer window closes on monday night, that would allow us to move andy halliday into his natural, more offensive midfield position, I hope warbs therefore goes and brings in the southampton young holding midfielder harrison reed if he can wade through the obstacles to conclude a loan deal for the young midfielder, what a difference this would make to our team by just signing a dm and moving halliday forward which would be a great move, this young southampton midfielder is very highly regarded by many in the football circle and is currently only being kept out the southampton starting 11 by victor wanyama, I would also take our ex midfielder mo edu back for our dm role in a heartbeat, what do we think of that fellow bears?

31 Jan 2016 09:03:57
Hey Warbs. I liked Edu, but I don't want to see any ex players coming back. would prefer to see Vaulks in our team, thought he was good again last night, a constant frustration along with Sibbald. Harrison Reid would be a brilliant signing IF we can get him. If not we can easily make do until we get Matt Crooks in from Acci come the end of the season.

What about will vaughs from Falkirk, get him cheap I recon.

31 Jan 2016 09:22:18
Have to say stuzo you make have a very good point here mate, I thought wil vaulks had a super game against us yesterday in the mid holding role, he was the man of the match imo so not a bad shout at all.

30 Jan 2016 22:13:29
I keep hearing people saying now that St Johnstone are out of the cup we will sign MOH, do people actually believe this? After the Billy king deal there is no chance we will be signing MOH. The next 3 or 4 games is massive, arguably the biggest few games in the last 4 years. For me I'd love to go and win the Scottish cup but it's not important, win every game from now up until and including hibs at easter road and I'd say the league is over.

BBC article about the £30m for the doubters.

goo.gl/5Iylhx

30 Jan 2016 22:22:34
Let's all back the board and team and forget about the press.

30 Jan 2016 23:27:57
That report still doesn't say king is going to put 30m into playing staff!

31 Jan 2016 00:32:51
For the BBC it's a pretty fair article.

31 Jan 2016 09:18:42
I agree luigi, it seems a pretty fair appraisal. The investment figures can only be an assessment by them and will only be confirmed in the accounts.

30 Jan 2016 21:26:10
Lee mcculloch to be in charge of killie at ibrox next week as locke resigns lol. Cue the timplosion its a conspiracy.

30 Jan 2016 20:18:39
MOH to come in now that St Johnstone's cup run is over?

Certainly sounded like that when I was watching the game on Rangers TV. Commentator suggested that was the reason the #10 jersey had been kept free.

30 Jan 2016 21:07:23
Seems to be what the commentator was saying on rangers tv was my feeling to that no deal will be done till after the cup game.

30 Jan 2016 17:43:58
Now that st johnstone are out let's put in improved bid. any1 says we don't need players then today sign of times to come. let's get over the finishing line an be champions. why riiskk it.

30 Jan 2016 18:00:30
Let's just forget about him.

30 Jan 2016 18:12:46
Agree mate hibs are hittin form and we've really got to win nearly all our games, would like to see moh as i think he's a crackin player but trust warbs so we'll see.

30 Jan 2016 19:38:20
Davie 1980, There is as much chance of an improved bid for O'H, as there is for dk agreeing to transparency.

30 Jan 2016 19:05:10
Op IDE say lower the bid, cause we are ok without him so if no other club comes in for him we will get him cheaper in the summer, I believe the players agent and the player had agreed everything, it was St Johnstone that over valued him, and in my opinion he was definetly not worth the 600 grand the club valued him at, well that price comes from the media, but definetly about 350 grand overpriced IMO.

30 Jan 2016 17:43:24
Just seen Diagouraga scored for leeds hmmm.
Just want to saya YASSSSS before Billy King had even kicked a ball there was a lot of chat about the boy not being upto our standards etc etc. what about now the boy just saved our arses.

30 Jan 2016 21:46:15
Tattybasher, I never read many posts questioning the boys ability. Only the manner of his arrival and long term benefit to the club are in question.

30 Jan 2016 22:16:55
In the 30 minutes king was on the pitch I thought he was rotten (minus the goal) didn't beat a player, a couple of loose passes, not on the same fast paced wavelength and 3 attempts at crossing the ball and not one lof ted off the ground. Having said that, it was his first appearance and he bagged the winner. For me the jury is still out.

30 Jan 2016 22:50:47
There was a guy called Forrester on the pitch. Only knew that as the announcer said so when he came on. King scored on his first appearance. Give him time. By no means the worst!

31 Jan 2016 00:16:42
Surprised at both posts above. Forrester has only appeared 3 times but today was more direct down the left (IMO from sitting on the halfway line in the Sandy Jardine Front) . Easily his best performance so far and linked well with Lee Wallace. King on the right was fast and a better
outlet for Tav. Given how exciting McKay was through the middle, I was delighted with King and Forrester. More game time will make them better. Just my opinion, but on an off day, was happy with the new boys.

30 Jan 2016 17:37:06
well done billyboy and welcome to ibrox. deecee.

30 Jan 2016 18:37:04
Exactly!

30 Jan 2016 17:12:33
Headlines write themselves! Not a great display. Though Tav wasn't at the races and needs competition for his jersey. Ball looked lost and Zelalem again flatters to deceive. Regardless, a big three points. Expect to see a signing confirmed tomorrow. Hope you all went home as happy as me, that was winning ugly but daylight between us and the rest. Enjoy your night. LLG.

30 Jan 2016 17:46:10
Ball looked off the pace. did u see game game as me. ball was awsome covering positions. next week ball in halliday bench.

30 Jan 2016 18:33:11
Well I was at Ibrox so assume it was the same game. I like Ball as a centre half where I think he looks very assured. I thought he was caught out of possession too often today and we got away with it. Today showed how much we miss Holt and Halliday. We will be far stronger with them back in the team and Ball back in defence.

30 Jan 2016 21:33:25
I agree Davie, Ball did a difficult job very well against a midfield more effective than ours.

30 Jan 2016 16:53:08
So our 6 month loan from hearts might just of gave us a very significant 3 points, that magic hat is something special on another point wtf is wrong with tav dam.

30 Jan 2016 17:01:56
The omission of both Halliday and Holt was telling today. We huffed and puffed, and finally got over the line, but it was far from pretty. Good to get the 3 points though.

30 Jan 2016 17:38:46
This was a massive 3 points looked like it was going to be draw. Falkirk got what they deserved, time wasting all game Rangers players running to get the ball back to them!

30 Jan 2016 18:54:48
Holt and Halliday were injured and banned respectively. Not omitted.
Did miss them though I thought Ball was not bad.

30 Jan 2016 20:46:46
Always a joy to behold the pedanticism of some on here. Here was me thinking only Pauline was that way inclined. Given that 6 people agreed with me, I think they got the jist. Some people's children eh. Perhaps the eds could set up a new page, where Sounezz and Pauline could provide correction to any posts. xx.

30 Jan 2016 21:50:45
You try and belittle people all the time Cullin. Don't over-reach, keep it simple and you can't go wrong. XX.

30 Jan 2016 23:40:41
It is a banter site is it not? How you take it is up to you. A lot of my comments are tongue in cheek, I should not have to explain it to you. Anyway, goodnight cowgirl.

30 Jan 2016 16:52:28
That's how you make a debut! The boy that went to Leeds scored too.

30 Jan 2016 16:52:24
All the nae sayers what about Billy king then exactly what was needed when we needed it.

30 Jan 2016 16:55:20
Oh ye of little faith . enough said!

30 Jan 2016 18:21:27
And my mouth was shut!

30 Jan 2016 16:52:07
Bully King. not a good signing as stated by many already on here. good enough to win the game 2day though guys! give him a chance!

30 Jan 2016 17:44:03
Don't think anybody has a problem with the boy as such (not now anyway lol) . Its the manner of the signing. Another loan when two actual signings were expected. Poor today but of such games champions are made.

30 Jan 2016 11:34:28
Is Don Cowie worth a punt?

30 Jan 2016 15:01:04
you know this may be just worth a shot some experience
off course it would all depend his wage demands
it can't be any worse than taking a 20 year old on loan that
will be gone a end of the season.

30 Jan 2016 19:42:42
Bowman i'm sure if the loaned you are referring too does well there will be a bid going in for him at the end of the season.

30 Jan 2016 12:48:12
I seen on another website mw looking to send Thompson out on loan to get some game time. If I'm honest I don't understand that 1 I think the lad deserves some game time with us especially the likes of today when haliday is suspended I'd prefer to see him rather than the lad from arsenal. I think there has been times when we've been well ahead in matches that Thompson should of been brought on.

30 Jan 2016 13:21:51
Both Ryan hardie and Jordan Thompson could and should of had much more game time. If we can't find time for them in championship then when will they get a chance.

Cue some daft comments about some mw master plan of sending them out on loan then they will come back and light up the spl .

30 Jan 2016 13:42:38
Luigi, clearly MW has an idea for the lad, I agree that the lad deserves more game time but clearly Warbs wants him to get constant game time and must not think he is better than what we have currently.

30 Jan 2016 14:56:46
Totally agree Onlyshow. MW and DW see these guys in training week in week out. (Also keep a close eye on the under 20s by all accounts so progress of the young players obviously given serious consideration, as it should be) . Only sensible conclusion can be that for whatever reason the young uns are not quite ready yet. I hope their time will come and have no reason to think it won't. Just look at Barry McK - before his extended loan period he was inconsistant and had the crowd on his back from time to time, goes out on loan, plays regularly and returns vastly improved, hungry and one of our top performs. Let's not second guess a management team with more experience than us and the distinct advantage of working with the players on a daily basis. In MW I trust - come on the Gers.

30 Jan 2016 12:15:10
What did we get for charlie telfer? Then moh got to be worth double that.

30 Jan 2016 18:04:52
£200000.

30 Jan 2016 10:32:02
Here's one for ya, Warbs is always on about buying players is the same as buying a house, so how this for an analogy:

Hi warbo, it Robbie trainspottin here, hey a canni sell ma hoose AV had it on the market for yonks man, jest willni Sell. It's valued at 100k, fancy takin it over and see what you can dae wi it. OK, trainspottin, Nae worries al take it on, six months later, Warbs has done a great job fixin the hoose up, there yi go Robbie my son, how's that. , man, great a put it on the market, it sold for 200k, your superb man, totally. Cheers big guy, ohhh, aw the best in the play offs.

30 Jan 2016 10:52:33
It's quite rubbish if I'm being honest.

30 Jan 2016 11:32:40
More nonsense!

30 Jan 2016 11:42:06
Total and absolute nonsense!

30 Jan 2016 12:15:57
If you want an honest critique, it is terrible. Too much time on your hands. When did MW start using weegie speak?

30 Jan 2016 12:31:04
I'll have a large one of whatever you are on stuzo! I'm surprised you can spell analogy let alone understand what it means. lol.

30 Jan 2016 12:33:21
This is what happens when a poster gets a few laughs. (The petrol station incident) They start thinking they're Bernard Manning instead of Bernard Matthews.

30 Jan 2016 16:57:54
Turkey drummer anyone, lol.

30 Jan 2016 18:06:15
What?!

30 Jan 2016 16:58:45
Maybe feeling a little silly now stuzo?

30 Jan 2016 21:24:15
Not at all, we are all silly boys? It's a banter page right? Duhhhhh all together now.

Folks need to lighten up, good times.

30 Jan 2016 01:08:12
