West Brom have accepted a bid of £2.5m for Tyler Roberts from Leeds Utd. (£4m bid rejected recently) He's obviously made it clear he isn't going to sign new deal with the signing of Sturridge pushing him further down the pecking order at WBA.
Said to be on our Radar not sure if we offered him a pre contract or not but looks like he may be heading to Leeds now.

Hope we have some backbone in negotiations now. If someone come in at 7 mil yell them it's 10 or no deal and clubs in China or down south will most likely make it up easily. Peanuts to them, not many leagues you'll get to cherry pick players with a minimum fee. Barry McKay transfer still annoys me. Fulham rejected 18 mil, what does that say about the bank balance of championship clubs. We should be cashing in on any 2 players people are willing to spend on and building. Not one of our players are irreplaceable.

He served Rangers well on both his tenures with us, maybe not the most skilful or blessed with pace, but chipped in with some goals and never disgraced the club.
Martin coming in has settled the line and no more silly playing around at the back, is good news.
Expect a few out on loan between now and tomorrow MOH, alves and possibly Krankjar.
If Morelos goes it’s a win win on every side for Rangers. If he stays still happy

Deanobear - McGinn is a good player, everyone thought Celtic were off their heads paying over the odds for brown - his fee around £4m looks a bargain. One season at rangers and we would double our money. Wasn’t that long ago people were claiming Cummings was “one of them” and overrated - now he’s the man . As Murty has shown we should be looking at young hungry Scottish players that want to win things and eventually win a move to EPL . McGinn fits the bill - unfortunately my coaching badges don’t stretch to the mighty Gers - however at least I ha e some 😜

Yes I can claim it wasn't £7m and it certainly wasn't £8.4 either because we cannot afford to reject that sort of money and I back this up with the fact we are surviving on soft loans to make ends meet! Deadline day is upon us so we will see if Morelos goes for anything above the figures already quoted. If he does then we will know for a fact whether or not the club has rejected offers of £7m, £8.4m etc!

Got to love the 'I'll bite your hand off' quotes for the Morelos offer from China. We have a lot of lions posting. 35 million for Drinkwater to Chelsea. Think about it and the EPL market. One fifth of that for a 21 year old whipper snapper proven goalscorer who'll no doubt be playing for Colombia isn't a steal. No hands needing bitten off. Morelos is worth more. Needs improving on his heading but he's got the instinct for scoring and that's a commodity we've got invested on our books.

I know he’s a striker but has anyone else noticed the defensive clearances he make in our own box at set plays lol think we should hang on to him and hold out for more money later. 21 years old. Phenomenal work rate and although still a bit raw the ability is there and will only improve. Out of interest how many times has he played for the u21? Of course a move to the epl may well change that but that's a big if and only if he's scoring 20+ league goals a season down there.

I would seriously say 15 mil or he stays. Before everyone shoots me down, I don’t believe he’s worth that right now after half a season but we need to start playing the modern transfer game. It’s all about perception, there’s no magic calculator that will tell you what a player is truly worth. If we slap that price tag on him it shows we won’t be messed about with low offers, for example McKay and others. Then even if he doesn’t go for that much at least it will still be more than what we would’ve got otherwise

I believe Caulker has a lot of demons to address before he’s playing football again. It’s a real shame to see somebody suffer the way he has and it puts some weight behind the ‘Money can’t buy you happiness’ saying. I really hope he beats his demons and gets back to playing football again as he is a very good defender. He won’t be at Rangers but I really wish him good health as I’ve seen first hand what depression and anxiety can do to a person.

I believe the only reason we would reject this bid would be the expectation of a higher offer coming in. I’ll be shocked and disappointed if we start knocking back offers such as this one. Collectively the DOF and Management team have shown real promise with the players they added and I’m sure they already have a number of players scouted and ready to sign once Morelos leaves.

None of us are saying categorically what was bid just that you don't know otherwise. Living off soft loans is a temporary thing which will be solved by a fresh share issue, so there no need to accept the first offers we receive. It's impossible to determine a players true value these days because of the enormous amounts of money being wasted by the Chinese and EPL teams. He is 21 yrs old and top scorer in the league. If he is still top scorer at the end of season he has every chance of making the Columbia squad and no reason why we won't get a ludicrous offer. Bear in mind he's out scoring Griffiths a supposed £10m player!

Would have preferred Wilson to stay, good player knows what like to be a ranger although does seem to have fitness concerns. If he refuses our offer though and wants to go he should leave with our best wishes.
