"What we shouldn't start getting carried away with is that this club would still have gone into administration. I don't think there is any chance that this wouldn't have happened.
I don't want to go back over the old argument of whether or not the club "died", or the company failed or what. However, Mr Green's comment about the CLUB going into administration has been put in there, I am sure, just to entertain those who pay close attention to his words. After all, it was in fact the company which owned the assets of the club which went into administration, rather than the club - is that not the received wisdom now?

I agree, he has never said he transfered "the club & its history" but instead "the assets & honours", i.e Ibrox, MP, whatever is lying in the trophy room.
I'm sure that was just to throw people off as well.

Mind games.... Any publicity is good publicity. CheltBlue

My concern is that it's all smoke and mirrors. Green is constantly discussing what ifs but never telling us what is actually happening in regard the share issue, the current financial status. He is throwing people off, but those people include the fans.

Any idea if/when they will change the name of Murray Park?
It's another thing that was discussed, then voted on then all quiet?

It was a categorical promise by Charles green to everyone who would buy a season ticket. Now we're half way through the season and it hasn't happened, why?

mike ashleys offer would see the club pocket an initial annual fee of £1.5million. But that sum could increase significantly depending on what division Rangers are playing
well i would tell ashley to keep his money in his pocket why should we be tied to contract with him when we could rename the stadium when we get back up to the top division and probaly get more money for the name then as there will be alot more intrest surley we aint that desperate for money considering we are running in a profit

How do you know The Rangers are running at a profit?

This story read like a Charles green big fat fib to the press to fill the space. £1.5m gets you 25% of the club, over 4 years you'd own everything.
It's an incredulous amount of money per annum for fourth div limited tv coverage and an old design corroded stadium. I'd wager it'll never happen. It also looks like a deflect attempt from the missing prospectus issue. For a 17th Dec float the prospectus should be out.
Also all season ticket money in bank untouched really beggars belief.

Dont mind ground being re - named for money, but it should be for an agreed time and amount with ashley, or any other interested party, this would then run until gers reach top div. after that all new bids can be proposed to club from outsiders, looked at,then agreed, give the bidder in position 1st option of renewal, if not agreed, then it can then be open to the highest bidder !!

Another desperate way of raising income to keep the new rangers afloat,so much for debt free& cash untouched in bank, once bitten twice as shy, another shyster out to line his pockets& then leave, will that be a new world record?...2teams in admin in 1 year, with the same manager at both clubs..stevo
