Thats it, its official, whyte has NOT kept his word regarding spending that 5million a season, therefore i withdraw my support for him, im completly outraged at what whyte is doin, ok he bought us and cleared our debt, but he promised us 5million a season, and he hasnt delivered, at one point we had bids totalling 12million in for four players, the only players weve signed since then is bocanegra,mckaay and bedoya for all under 1million. you pay average money, and u get average players, seltic will coast the league this year!! i honestly cant decribe to this forum how angry i am, rangers fans have been robbed by thier own club, thats how it feels, i think demonstrations outside ibrox are not far off, whyte should watch his back, i have more hate for that man than neil lennon!!

Why do people think he has cleared the debt. NO HE HAS NOT. He has transferred the debt. So far he has paid the princely sum of £1. Please understand this, he is a con man and a liar.

He's just juggling the debt, it's still there - just shifted it to another company name.

I have been saying for weeks this would happen, i've been told i'm not a real supporter, i've been told not to come back to ibrox, well I will be back at the next home game and will be letting this conman know how i feel.
I would urge all real fans who have the club at heart to stand strong and let this person know that we will not stand for this anymore, i'm really trying to control myself here.
Supporter groups should now show their worth and organize a peacefull but firm demonstration to let him know that we are the true owners of our club and will not be treated like mugs any longer.

Gers fans why are we all up in arms against Craig Whyte? I mean this is a championship winning side who have secured our best players on long term deals and knocked back £9m bid for our star striker.

Theres been 6 new players in and lets be honest if we were all told there would be 6 new players who are all internationals (exception of ortiz) then we would have been delighted!

When everyone is fit we have a good group of players, our back 4 looks solid and the intro of MacKay and Bedoya is like 2 brand new signings nobody has seen much of them yet.

I am a season ticket holder and have followed for more years than i can remember but this is shocking, we don't know where our club is heading, our team is as bad as i can remember.
I always had hope for this window until Super Ally was interviewed after the Dons game, he clearly hadn't a clue what was going on and has been hung up to dry by Whyte.
I never expected 15m but ffs i did expect him to show that he meant buisness and sign 2-3 quality players.
This was the season to kick on and pull away from Celtic, we had mostly the same team as last year, 2-3 quality player and 2-3 squad players was all that was needed to add to this squad, this has not happened and we now have a new defence with a midfield lacking any purpose, our attack looks jaded with Jelevic looking like he would rather be somewhere else(still might) and Lafferty,who has the tools required to be a good player is nowhere near match fit and has been unfairly thrown into the team.We have nothing else in reserve and this is not going to be the season to blood young players, its not fair on them as i can see this season becoming close to the PLG term.
I usually enjoy deadline day but it has been spoiled by Whyte and his gang.
This man needs to address the fans with a decent explanation with regards to this summers fiasco.
Fox sports? who would watch this crap, Though he may well con them as he has his own supporters.

I'm usually quite positive as a fan but I have been really disappointed in this transfer window. Someone may yet come in and i will be proved wrong, and I hope I am. We have succeeded in signing defenders. We have signed a couple of unknown midfielders. But all the players that would have made a difference going forward; Goodwillie, Verhoek, Miller, Conway, Weiss. None have come in, last season we had Diouf and Weiss we have not replaced either of them. Greg Wylde is not good enough to start. If it is true that McCoist doesn't want Weiss, didn't want Lovenkrands, didn't want Novo. It is clear they are all better than Wylde, Ortiz, Kerkar (why did we keep him) Such as disappointment, someone sign before midnight please.

Absolutely comical. We have made 7 (seven) new signings and people 'Don't know what to do'. Well for a start, be happy we have added new players to the squad. Secondly, get yourself up to Dundee for the clash with United on the 10th of September. And lastly, look forward to another season where when we get all of our players back from injury, we enjoy our 4th consecutive SPL title. Because I for one am sure looking forward to it. I fully understand that if he didnt buy the club we would be worse off. alot of the guys we missed out on wouldn't have broken the bank and might have got us 15mil in CL money or even european football till xmas, conway, danns, miller (pains me to say it) etc to name a few.

All of them apart from miller in my opinion had sell on value so if we failed to get into Europe we could have sold them on so not taking a punt doesn't make good bussiness sense again just my opinion...

HI guys im glad we are going to be keeping our players, and especially lafferty, i know hes not been the best for us the opast few seasons but at the end of last season showed us he can be up there with the top scorers :) i think he could be top scorer this year if keeps fit and plays through the middle. :) i hope we do get an EPL fringe player on loan to help us boost the depth and challenge for first team places...but i think we could storm the league with the players we have got already :)

Rangers midfielder Steven Naismith has welcomed the club's decision to reject a £6.5million bid for team-mate Nikica Jelavic and hopes they can retain his services beyond Wednesday's transfer deadline.

The Croatia striker was targeted by Leicester on Tuesday but the offer was thrown out by the Scottish champions. Jelavic arrived in a £4 million deal from Rapid Vienna last August and netted 19 goals in his debut season despite almost four months on the sidelines through injury.

Naismith said: "He has been a massive player for us since he has been at the club and hopefully we can keep him. Hopefully if any more bids come in for him, they will be rejected.

"The squad is finally being built up and we have more numbers and quality in the squad. Hopefully, if we can keep everybody at the club, we can go on to do well this season.

"The boys who have been here have shown over the last few years that having a tight group and the bonding that's been here is what has brought us our success. Taking anybody out of that would be a massive blow so we are hoping we can keep Jelavic and push on and do well domestically this season.

"Everybody has their price but, luckily for me, I'm not the one who decides what price anybody is. He is a top-class forward and in football years he still has a bit to go before he reaches his peak. I'm sure he will be a world-class player by the end of his career.''

While keen to hold onto the players Rangers already have at their disposal, Naismith would like to see boss Ally McCoist beat the deadline and strengthen his squad further.

He added: "If the manager can do something and get the backing and get a few more in, it would definitely help with competition for places.

"But, at this moment in time, the manager will be happy with the size of the squad, especially now that we have been knocked out of Europe and don't have as many games as we would have had.''

Have heard from a very good source that Jelavic has an £8 million release clause in his contract so it could be taken out of Rangers hands if the relevant bid comes in.

Have also heard there is a Russian club interested and we all know the crazy money being paid in wages over there so who could blame him if he gets a big offer!
