I am writing this whilst we wait to hear if we have actually signed Templeton & McGowan. The talk of Ferguson, Hutton & Novo is a joke (tho i would love to be proved wrong!), all 3 are under contract at clubs. And I would love it if Ferguson came back once his contact is up at Blackpool, so he can finish at Rangers.

clearly the issue with registration due to (Naismith, McGregor etc) ex players till being on the books has stopped us from bringing in more players. Which is fair enough, as we may not have been able to stop this.

my main concern is the future of Rangers, and so I'm glad we havent brought in too many players on 'big' wages. We need to learn from past mistakes. And from the TUPE transfer of contracts, we have actually ended up with removing over paid players from our books which I am happy with.

We need to realise from now on, we will have to rely on good youngsters like McKay. And realise that one day they will join the English Premiership and we will just need to try and get as much money as we can for them. The days of legendary players staying at Rangers for all their career are over, as they can move to the Premiership to make millions and play in th best league in the world.

Great for boca he will be defending against ronaldo and messi and other world class players great move for us he will be class when he comes back to us WATP! {Ed039's Note - Santander are in the Spanish second division)

Believable0 Unbelievable8

Wrong mate. he will be playing in spanish 2nd div {Ed039's Note - That's what I said)

31 Aug 2012 23:42:34
Worried that we have lost Boca. I am not at all convinced that the Brazilian is the answer. I think this means McCulloch will be playing centre half, but I like him up front. He hold the ball up well, far better than Sandaza.

I will be delighted if we get Templeton but we really need numbers in and they don't appear to have been brought in, looks like one in, one out.

Taking a big chance as squad is thin to say the least.

Hoping that we get some good news!

Carlos Bocanegra, who has left Rangers to go on loan to Racing Santander, has been talking about his move to Spain: "I really enjoy it here at Rangers, but this is mutually beneficial for both parties. I'm excited to get the opportunity to play in Spain, but I'm also excited it's only a loan because I get to come back.

"I enjoy it here, and I was lucky enough to be club captain. But that's football, these things happen. I've got to get on with it."

FAIR PLAY BIG MAN

Believable7 Unbelievable1

Aye he'll be back to play in the lowest tiers of Scottish football.

"Will ye no come back again?!"

Agree2 Disagree5

Good luck carlos i think we will miss your experience at the back

It was always asking too much to expect the captain of u.s.a. to play in the 3rd division. All the best to him for the season & hope to see him in a gers shirt next season

Well guys when you look at the signings,'if The two hearts boys sign for us, I would say Charles Green and his backers have done not to bad a job. It is definately 100 percent more than I expected. Well done Mr Green.

Believable3 Unbelievable7

McGowan has knocked us back

Agree3 Disagree1

He's got rid of everybody and bought in nobody, no offence meant to the professionalism of the players but this squad will be UTTERLY F#CT by this time next year.

Figaro

Agree2 Disagree2

That's not greens fault though is it, if Hearts had let him talk to us Green had done his bit, unless the boys looking for an unrealistic contract, he must have met Hearts valuation.

SSN are p%sh.
Ten minutes ago Macgowan and Templeton having medicals, now only Templeton.
Quite glad really he looks sh£te.Rather keep Wallace.

Believable4 Unbelievable4

Wallace a left-back, McGowan a right-back

Agree0 Disagree2

What you on about mcgowan is a right back not a left back and can also play centre mid so shhh you dot have a clue

Agree0 Disagree3

He can play either side at full back and as a holding midfielder.
The big Greek fella is better going forward from right back than him. We also have Ross Perry and Darren Cole,so Macgowan would have been cover for Wallace or played at left back and we'd probably have shipped Wallace out in January. Probably why he knocked us back, not gauranteed a game.
Like i said rather have Wallace.
P.O.B.

Agree1 Disagree2

To the the Shhh guy have you heard of player profiles? Try looking them up.
You also don't know much about our team.
Lee Wallace was out last week and the only cover we had was the big greek who is right sided and had to play out of position. Shhhmuck!

Templeton and Macgowan undergoing medicals. Also says a lot about our club's relationship with Hearts.
Another two fingers to the darkside fans on here spouting nonsense about football debts and how nobody will deal with us.
To the Rangers fans slating Ally and the chairman suck it up.
It's great being a Bear! Some of you don't know what being a trueblue is!
P.O.B.

Believable8 Unbelievable5

Agree2 Disagree3

31 Aug 2012 21:08:32
four ex rangers players are causing problems with us signing anymore over 21 players as we are only allowed 22 . this is because cg would not release the registration , remember fifa granted temps for players to play at new clubs , well done charles didnt realise why you held them back at the time , but like all cloak and dagger operators you have been found out

Believable7 Unbelievable4

That's fine dissin green mate, but if that's the consequences of him saying, you know what you have tried to shaft Rangers and I'm not having it, well so be it. Im of the opinion that what he has done is right and if it brings us some cash from the selfish w@n&ers who, remember were Rangers men through and through. I can live with it, if it causes they knobs a little bit of the heartache it has caused the Rangers fans, well it's worth not being able to sign anyone for a year. Remember it's not just a few grand were talking about here. Rangers were good to these persons, so go on Charles, don't let it go mate.

hearts player mcgowan has killed off any move to rangers by commiting his future to hearts

Believable11 Unbelievable2

Probably coz mad Vlad had him waterboarded or some sh!£. his loss in the end bears.

Agree3 Disagree5

His loss listen to yourself you clown. he was playing at anfield and you now want him to play elgin. At least he has ambition no like templeton put cash before a promisong career

I just had a thought. Since that Emile Heskey is a free agent, could we sign him. I know he said he wanted to stay in the prem but I think yhat would be a class deal...

Believable2 Unbelievable13

He's talking to lower league clubs in England. Not even Championship level.

Agree2 Disagree2

Oh good god no, he's slower than a Blackpool donkey and has the same scoring ability or lack of .

Agree3 Disagree2

His goal ratio is about 1 goal every 350,000 games. He's rubbish and don't want him, in fact would rather have a dose of the clap

Agree4 Disagree2

31 Aug 2012 18:00:09
Whats the point of Celtic signing anyone, the've got more than enough to beat all the dross left in the spl yet wouldn't be ale to attract players of a calibre to make any difference in Europe
Kishmel

Believable9 Unbelievable11

Obviously talking from experience.

Agree6 Disagree2

The point would be to rub our noses in it obviously. I mean we would if we could, wouldn't we.

Agree3 Disagree4

...don't care

BB

Agree1 Disagree1

To rotate players between CL games to keep them fresh.

Agree1 Disagree0

Well rangers done exactly that for years

Agree0 Disagree0

What is wrong with you ppl? Your saying Celtic is only signing ppl to have a go at yous? How pathetic and sad,and this proves how obsess yous are with them, Celtic signing ppl in a transfer window never happens right just like it never happens at another team, for all clubs just sign ppl to have a go at a club. Do you not see how yous think? And you think you can make it back up to the top eh, for if you lose it's Celtic's fault as well and when it rains it there fault again. Ed can you help these ppl, they seem to listen to you so put them straight .

Agree5 Disagree1

6, That poster (no 2) possibly wasn't a Ger, but regardless, it's you who's the plum for revealing that you think we're aw like that. Think you'll find we're a pretty diverse group. This site is full of tims on the wind up but also some pretty lively debate from within the true blue support, not everyone agreeing but each of us passionate about our club.

Can I ask you, if you are so despairing of us, why are you even here?

Believable5 Unbelievable9

Another dud from foreign lands, please no ally.

Agree11 Disagree4

Scored two goals in seventeen appearences in Italian 3rd tier.....not the best of records for a striker.

I said the other week thatI hoped McCoist isn't just signinh these trialists for the sake of signing player. Sadly I think he is doing exactly that.

TTG

Agree12 Disagree1

Totally agree mate same last transfer window, getting the numbers slowly but quality rotten am afraid.I'd take 4 more, centre half with pace, templeton if we could do that, skatcel good goals return from midfield, and if poss a striker with a bit of dig.sandaza ain't convinced and Kyle well enough said?thoughts?

Agree4 Disagree3

He isn't an out and out striker, more of a skillfull support striker. Saw some clips of him on Ya Choob, looked average, but I'd Imageing Serie C is better than SFL 3

heart looking for combined fee of 1.3 millon for mgowan and templeton work out 750k each if i was ally mccoist at be banging at greens door and get him to sign these players

Believable6 Unbelievable11

That would be £650k each

Mikey Bhoy

Agree10 Disagree0

1.3 millon to hearts, then agent fees, then signing on fees, do you want the club back in administration? We shouldn't be spending that kind of money to win the 3rd and 2nd division, better manager and we would romp these league's.

750, 000 each makes 1.3 million. You probably work in a bank given the state our economy is in. Back to schools for u ma friends

Just a wee rumour, live close to the and am hearing that Larsson is in town to sign for them not us. Would love to see us grab wee Templeton but surely we need a couple of quality defenders because I feel big Cribari may be a bit of a bomb scare at times.

Believable5 Unbelievable3

Shows you how much Celtic are struggling to sign players, how far down lennys targets would Dan Larrson have been? Any back to us, I see ally responded to the Berwick game in usual fashion by dropping the 3 Scottish youngsters for last nites game and replacing them with 3 foreign duds, noticing a trend with ally, anytime 1 of his youngsters have a bad game he drops them straight away, I.E. fleck last year, 1 bad game and he was out but mo edu could've 5 bad in a row and still be in the team, Ally you are hopelsss, chuck it please.

When are you all going to wake up
and smell the coffee, there will be
no signings at Ibrox today. Green is
taking a leaf out of Whyte's book
and bidding low for players knowing
fine well he has no chance of
getting them. Then he will come out
after the deadline and say we tried
our best but we were being held to
ransom. Seen it all before Green
is no better than Whyte and now
he has over 35,000 season ticket
money in his back hipper and
laughing at us on the quiet.

Believable18 Unbelievable14

We will see at 11pm mate so shhh for now

yesterday we had champions league draw today we have transfer window closing but if your a ranger fan its thursday and friday

Believable15 Unbelievable9

And if your a Celtic fan it's another day spent wondering what is happening at Rangers?
OBSESSED OR WHAT!

So c@ltic fans dont have thurs or friday just proves u live in cookoo land, im meeting a couple of mates for a few beers tonight what will i call today just in case they dont have weekdays too..

Whats your point dhimwit...gers played cup game thurs and are also included in transfer window until it closes friday. Another dhim infatuated with all things Rangers. R/R

Agree3 Disagree6

@1: calm down, it's banter. Or can't you hack it?

Agree8 Disagree4

@3: no, just someone on the wind-up. Last September/October/November it was the other way round with Rangers fans on the Celtic pages. No-one accused them of being obsessed. To do so is just lazy and suggests you can't come up with a decent response.

Agree8 Disagree5

@5. It was still about football back then. We were rivals in the same league. Now its just hoopy being obsessed about a 3rd division club, imagine the hysteria when we finally get back to the SPL... CheltBlue

Agree4 Disagree5

@6: no, it's banter and winding up and you just can't take it!

Don't tell me Rangers fans wouldn't do the same if the roles were reversed. Just suck it up and take it on the chin. Another lazy bear who reaches for the 'obsessed' card because they can't come up with anything better in response.

O" Well How Sad Never Mind….
Good Day Fellow Bears

So what do we deduce from this then! All moneys gained from TV deals which involve Rangers are to be shared with the SPL t***s who don't want us in there f***y of an SP league, however as the septic's champions league qualification will provide a £1.5million boost to the SPL.
Top-flight chiefs confirmed "solidarity funding" from UEFA would increase to £1.5m with the sum shared between the 12 SPL clubs.
What's the script shouldn't this be shared across the Scottish leagues, don't think that will happen.
The league said the bonus would "partly offset the financial damage caused to the league by the loss of Rangers from the SPL".
SPL chief executive Neil Doncaster, who had warned of financial gloom minus Gers, said: "Our congratulations go to all at Celtic.
"Their success is a welcome boost for the entire game in Scotland – both financially and reputationally."
Take a look at the daily drag today lads, what a lovely image at Glasgow airport, Neil Doncaster Mr Impartial and Peter Lawwell Mr Septic FC, its getting to be a chave figuring out who's or what hymn book they are reading from!!!

Believable13 Unbelievable9

So much for sporting fairness and a 42 club soluton. Hope the SFL clubs maintain their balls of steel attitude to question this, but i doubt it somehat.
Ordinarily i could accept the SPL being entitled to keep the money as a seperate entity but this was not what was mooted by them and the Div 1 clubs when they both voted against us under the totally rediculous guise of sporting integrity.
Ach well,onwards and upwards.
P.O.B.

Good Day Again Fellow Bears
Never mind lads, you are correct t, forward in your thinking, onward and upwards. I also keep drifting back to a comment that was made by Mark Hateley, at a bears night out where he did a questions and answers thing, Quote: we should take all this on the chin, knuckle down and get after it, however when we are rightfully restored as champions we should remember back to all the tw**s who would have dug us under. True saying, let us not forget¦.
It's great being a bear.

one of the papers reporting that rangers are facing some red tape of signing some players......

sfl rules state that you cant register anymore that 22 players over the age of 21. they are also reporting that naismith, whittaker, mcgregor and lafferty are still, even though moved on, registered with the club?? how can this be?? how can they have signed with other clubs but still be registered with us??

G. {Ed039's Note - Their transfers are being disputed and they have all benn granted temporary registrations with their respective new clubs)

Believable4 Unbelievable2

If they are still registered with us does that mean they are still receiving wages from us?

Agree1 Disagree5

Green wants to drop the cases cause he will not get a penny for them anyway so if any1 to blame for lack of players in its him

Green's complaining about the situation yet it appears to be one he's caused by disputing the transfers.

McCoist given a three game ban, suspended for one year, by SFA. A very light sentence for a very serious incident.
Obviously the SFA didn't want him away from the next three games, which he has to take the full responsibility for.

Rumour that Charles and Ally will be hammered tomorrow at their respective SFA disciplinary committee summons'.

On another note, when Charles was trying to get our new club into the SPL. The club being managed by D&P was still in the SPL as The Rangers FC Plc incorporated 1899, this club had a vote within the SPL and voted to allow our new club into SPL.

So guess there was two clubs at the same time!

Believable5 Unbelievable3

Don't get club and company confused.
D&P were in control of a football club which was in the SPL (pending liquidation) and therefore had a vote.

There were never two clubs.
