Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

I think in terms of strenghtening in forward areas we should definately send a scout to PSV Eindhoven to have a look at their strikers, go on to PSV Eindhoven wikipedia then current squad and then click on all their forwards, some of those guys have great goal ratios.
Ola Toivonen
Jeremain Lens
Tim Matavž
Dries Mertens
Mccoist will no doubt know all about some of these guys from the Europa league tie against PSV last season.
Only thing is they may be quite costly, we may only be able to get one of them if Jelavic is sold or Craig Whyte magically comes up with about £10
I would recommend Jeremain Lens, 14 goals in 49 appearances in the Eridivisie, also a striker for Holland ranked no.2 in the world, would cost arouund £6 million.

. I admire your optimism mate but there's no chance ever of any of them coming to Ibrox. We can't afford 6p never mind £6m, Ally won't see a penny of the Jela money.
Agree1

Why would anyone leave PSV to sign for Rangers? For less money than there on now?
Agree1

You people wise up, Ally enjoyed working for fitba telly in England with many contacts, met many English supporting Rangers players do you really think this present team is what he wanted for his club, your club, our club,do yourselves a favour . Remember one thing to support this club is a calling, a gift passed on from someone who loved you, regardless of your age when you gave up the fight, you passed on the Rangers to someone you loved. I have proudly passed this on to every member of my family for thirty years am i wrong, never i loved every minute of watching the new Rangers coming through there will be two new members of the Rangers family early 2012 they will be presented with their colours and will know from family where they belong .We claim to be a family, we knew after murray /banks s**t would happen and it could get worse we have to hope in Craig White cos all the good Rangers directors/ defectors allowed this to happen to our club, Rangers family everywhere happy new year Highland Bear
Agree6
Disagree2
The quality of club also after these players puts Rangers way down the pecking order in terms of transfer fees, wages and league standing. In the last transfer window alone a number of EPL and Serie A clubs were strongly linked with transfer moves:
Toivonen - Linked with Liverpool, no chance.
Lens - Linked with Sunderland, no chance.
Matavz - Linked with Napoli, no chance.
Mertens - Linked with Arsenal, no chance.

I'd just like to point out I've been jumping on this a lot over the last 8 months or so and that not one rumour on here has turned out to be true. (Excluding the ones that folk put on AFTER they've been reported by papers etc).
I am hoping the next month or so provides some solid info on some badly needed transfer news.
While I'm here I may as well have a wee moan aswell.
How players like Hutton(who didn't look out of place against Man Utd), Bendikson(who changed our fortunes when given a chance), and McKay (who also looked good) can't get a game before the likes of McCulloch, Wylde(on current form and Papac/Wallace(in midfield) is quite shocking.
I won't even bother mentioning Whittaker's form this season or the too often missing Jelavic.
I also don't understand how Healy can't be thrown on against the lesser teams when we're struggling but against Celtic he's our first choice when desperate.
Anyway have a good new year and hopefully we see some true rumours on here regarding some exciting transfers.

Happy New Year Bears when it comes and look forward to the end of our club in 2012 due to YOU ALL sitting back and doing NOTHING while Whyte and bad management runs our club into the GROUND. The most GUTLESS SO CALLED SUPPORTERS in the WORLD. Hope you all grow a pair and wake up to the reality in 2012.
Believable7
Unbelievable9
I don't think your beloved Celtic will go to the wall. How can you say that you look forward to the end of you'd club (Celtic). You are one sad individual. I think your fellow Celtic fans will disagree with you. Have you been to a doctor? I think you might be suffering from depression. Keep your chin up.
Barry
Agree10
Disagree7
And just what are you doing about it all, seem to have all the answers, sure Ally and Whyte would be more than happy for you to rectify all our problems so easily.
Agree8
Disagree4
Typical response. If you have a go at Whyte or Rangers fans your a Timothy. Another Bear with his head stuck in the sand. FYI have sent my nice little letter to Whyte telling him to put up or shut up and made my voice heard at Ibrox but no other Rangers fans seem to care about our club. As i said GUTLESS.
Agree5
Disagree8
PS Barry its because of fans like you who sit back and watch their club go to rack and ruin that we are in this mess. Wake up and smell the coffee and get yourself to a doctor if your wan brain cell cant comprehend that our club is dying.
Agree6
Disagree11
Is Whyte running Celtic? What a plum, probably the worst comeback i've ever seen to a post. Its just a Rangers fan telling it straight for a change yet gets an uneducated post accusing him of being a Celtic supporter back.
Agree6
Disagree9
A reply to the guy called Gutless. Instead of me smelling the coffee. I think you should get to bed because you've had to much of the cheap cider. For a fan to say he looks forward to the end of his club. Well if you ask me you are a Celtic fan at the wind up. So away you go a dafty dicky.
Barry
Agree9
Disagree5
Nah Barry tee-total and you are Gutless. Again a typical uneducated response about being a Celtic fan and if our club dies its fans like YOU who caused it. So you must be looking forward to it eh.
Agree5
Disagree8
Lmao. I caused it lmao. You must have had a problem with the drink if tee-total. Ya nameless poster oh sorry dicky lmao. Spend time with your loved ones they might cheer you up.
Barry

Barry you seem to have an obsession with the word dicky? Are you trying to tell us something?
Agree3
Disagree5
You seem to have an obsession with myself. You've not got a clue. You are one of these guys that blames everyone but yourself. They were no one else stepping up to buy the club so give Whyte a chance. This month is going to be the most important in the clubs history so get behind the team and chairman instead of sh*t stirring. We Are The People. In Ally We Trust.

I think in the best case scenario for Rangers in January, we should go back in for Roland Juhasz of Anderlecht, brilliant bull of a defender for £3 million - bargain.
If we can keep Jelavic then I would like to see us bring in Francisco Sandaza of St Johnstone and Kris Boyd in on a free. If Jelavic does go then we need someone stronger than Sandaza, maybe Goodwillie or Steven Fletcher.
Although it's a long shot I would also like to see Robert Snodgrass of Leeds come in and help inspire Davis back to form as well as score goals from midfield. Swiss international Scott Sutter could also replace Broadfoot who I think is useless, slow, lazy and not an Old Firm standard of player.
In terms of outgoing, Ortiz, Bedoya, Mckay, Healy and Broadfoot should all be sold to free up some extra funds and wages.
All in all thats around
Juhasz - £4.5 million
Sandaza - £1 million
Boyd - Free
Snodgrass - £2.5 million
Scott Sutter - Loan
TOTAL: £8 million
Ortiz - £200,000
Bedoya - £400,000
McKay - £300,000
Healy - £100,000
Broadfoot - £900,000
TOTAL: £1.9 million income
So without the sale of any of our key players Craig Whyte needs to come up with at least £6 million
Believable0

S.fletcher lol he would cost about £7m right now hes scoring every week for wolves

Sorry mate carlsberg dont do transfer windows
Agree1

Where do we get these rockets from? That'll be the same Snodgrass who Leeds have said won't go for less than £8m. Keep aff the bucky and the xbox and all those who post s**te like this please stop.
Agree2
Disagree0
The incomings, i think all those are reasonable targets, Good Shout Man!
With the Outgoings, Bedoya and McKay should stay IMO, we could get more for Healy, Broadfoot can go altogether! I'll evan pay the transfer fee!
Agree1
Disagree0
So many things wrong with this
You say pick up juhasz for 3 million then state £4.5million :D:D:D
second 1 million for sandaza just :D
thirdly didnt leeds knock back more that 2.5 million for snodgrass in the summer
and noone will pay that for clubfoot

I don't agree that we have to sacrifice any trophies to bring through the youth and change the playing style. Hutton, Ness, Bendiksen, McMillan, Perry would play with heart and perhaps give the older heads some much needed motivation and a kick in the backside! It is time to reap the benefits of Murray Park and use all the options at our disposal. Captain needs to be sorted, maybe Goian or Boca.
We need to start playing McKay and see what he is made of. Oz footballer of the year and Man of the match against a reasonable Liverpool team must say something about him despite all the doubters!
We need to start playing players in their correct position and get back to playing like we did in the second half of the 4-2 win!
We need to give the management and players our support because all the uncertainty and tax rubbish must affect them especially after so many years of the same negativity!
We need to show everyone especially them lot that we are Rangers and put some fear up them because we will rise again and take the league and the Scottish Cup for the double! Here's to a very happy 2012 fellow bears!

Let it be said right now if Rangers sell any of their top players and only bring in the likes Riordan, Davidson, Sanddancer etc i'll not be back at Ibrox and the season ticket will be binned. Whyte is turning our club into the biggest laughing stock in Europe. We really are a shambles, a disgrace in fact and our so called supporters just sit back and take it. Greatest supporters in the world my arse. Any other supporters would be knocking the door down at their club if this was happening, organising demo's and demanding answers and action. Our support is just like our team GUTLESS. Either stump up Whye or f right off.

Calm down mate, only lost 1 nil to the greatest football team in europe,{my arse},long way to go in the league,Rangers will be back, support your team, stop whining,we will win the league.

Only lost 1 nil? Celtic gain 17 points on us in a matter of weeks. Out of both Euro competitions at the 1st hurdle, humped out the cup by Falkirk. Inferior signings. The teams in dire straits, no word from Whyte on whats happening off the park. Even though the transfer window opens tomorrow Ally is yet to have a meeting with Whyte to find out if funds are available. Its a total disgrace, this should have been discussed weeks ago. They are totally inept and this is bad management of the highest order.
Give Celtic fans their due at least when their team was going down the crapper they cared enough about their team to take action. Rangers fans just sit back on their arses and take it. GUTLESS!

dont get all this negative talk about sandaza. at the moment he is scoring reguarly in a league that we are trying to win, and with a poorer side....a no brainer for me. lets not forget, the guy learned his trade at valencia. for whatever reason he didn't have a successful time at brighton n utd but at present he is on fire n like i say i'd have him in my rangers team tomorrow.
the sooner guys on hear realize that players like matavaz, goodwillie, andy johnson ect ect ect are well out of our reach the better.....sandaza, templeton, o connor, jamie murphy, driver n davidson is our level of signings at this current time.

Think you need to be realistic now and accept that players such as him are all you can afford. your financial predicament is well publicised so there is now way millions are going to be spent even if jelavic is sold. your management team knew this was coming for a few year so youth should have been brought through sooner to help out. in defense tho its a hard one as rangers needed to win the league the past 3 years so as its been so tight maybe it wasn't possible. a few years rebuilding is needed maybe sacrificing the league for a few years will be the price to pay.

Billy Davies is a top manager,a more than adequate replacement for Ally, but i still hope Ally can turn it round, long season to go.

If davis was that good a manager he would be still down in england hes an arrogent wee guy .

Bring Davis in along side Coisty, he will be a major asset, well respected in england and has a lot of contacts down south.

Billy Davis is a limelight loving lush. Rangers would be wise to leave well alone.

If Davis is a good manager why would he want the poison chalice that is Rangers?

Read today that Ally will have talks in the next few days with mr tight to see if we can make any signings. Why, we all knew the transfer window was coming why only now are we discussing our plan. This is pathetic, we should be ready to go as soon as 1st Jan arrives because god knows we need some signings. A sign of the new owners inability to provide the funds. Thanks Sir David Murray for leaving us with this charlatan despite his assurances that he would only sell to the right man.

I would say that the current team mc coist is playing needs changed around a bit in the defence for a start mc millan to rb then whitty into the center of mid beside davis mckay on left and aluko on right up front jelavic and hemmings so the team sheet would read mc gregor in goal rb mcmillan lb wallace cf goian cf bocca capt rm aluko lm mckay cm whitty and davis cf jelavic and hemmings subs papac edu lafferty wylde bedoya alexander what are your thoughts on this?

Just heard Ally on radio Clyde, he said we sent out a positive side but didn't create a lot so therefore the team we have IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. We need to lose the belief that teams now think we are playing Rangers we can't beat them they have great players BECAUSE THEY NOW THINK WE CAN BEAT THIS LOT
GET THE FINGER OUT GERS
Ally stop playing YOUR mates and play the ones who merit a place and will give their all.

If thats positive, then we are in trouble.

"Sent out a positive side" - We have no creativity in our play and no one to create it. Players are not played in position and our manager does not have the know how to inspire confidence in them.
Agree4

Was ally watching the same match as the rest of us.
Agree3

It was a positive team that we sent out. the problem was they played defensively, ran away from celtic when they attacked us, punted the ball whenever we got it and played with zero passion and effort. they play this way because ally wants them to play like that. if he didnt he would be on the touchline telling them what they are doing wrong

Will people please stop Posting that Goodwillie is coming in January! Players cannot play for 3 clubs in the 1 season under UEFA rules - fact!!
Goodwillie will be left to rot by Blackburn in their reserves then he'll be sold to a championship side.... {Ed001's Note - he can play on loan.}

Article 5.3
Players may be registered with a maximum of three clubs during one season. During this period, the
player is only eligible to play official matches for two clubs. As an exception to this rule, a player moving
between two clubs belonging to associations with overlapping seasons (i.e. start of season in summer/
autumn as opposed to winter/spring) may be eligible to play in official matches for a third club during
the relevant season, provided he has fully complied with his contractual obligations towards his previous
clubs. Equally, the provisions relating to the registration periods (article 6) as well as the minimum length
of contract (article 18 paragraph 2) must be respected.
FIFA regulations permit amateur players to be registered up to a maximum of two years and
professional players up to a maximum of five years.

Why we wasting time selling jelavic to these rubbish clubs we should wait until the euros and see if he does well there and cash in on him.after.
We need midfeilders Davis has got away with it to long great player but never a captain. How can you captain a team when you run round like a idiot all game then demands to Take every freekick and never scores.
Mcgregor to be captain least if some1 messes up they will know about it
Is like driver from hearts and oconner up front with jelavic geting laff out on that wing
Get rid of mckay, edit,Davis,Goigan before anybody else

1st paragraph. Jelavic has his bags packet,he's waiting on a team he wants to go to then he's off.you could clearly see who was in the stands for the old firm game yet rather than keeping it plain & simple jelaflop tries overhead kicks & such like that don't trouble Celtic resulting in him not scoring.
Paragraph 2. Why mcgreggor is not captin for your team I'll never no. Old saying is your goalie is as good as your striker, they make or break games & the big man has done rangers well even tho it pains me to say it.
Finally why is weir & other oap still there ? Ok some for experience etc yes but think ally is playing with fire not letting his latest signings

Have no idea if this will get posted or not but here goes.......... What is with all the abuse people are giving to everyone regarding rumours? They may be true, they may be false who cares! In the summer of '95 I would never have believed gazza would have come to our great club but he did. We are linked with lots of players and if someone hears a rumour about a riordan o'connor boyd rhodes etc then why must it be false? We have no money.....true but got jelavic for 4m. If we sell for good money is it that unbelievable we could sign a Rhodes or dorrans or whoever. This page used to be fun now it's full of people who just come to sh1! On other users or "fans" who shout panic at the first sign of trouble and want the gaffer out. 2 points behind the great unwashed and it's time to get Ally out? Managers need time and throwing out coisty will not do us any favours long or short term.....rant over!

The difference between 1995 and 2012 is we were not on the verge of administration, are some people just daft on here or just not wanting to admit the truth ed? {Ed001's Note - I think it is the latter, people like to have hope to hold onto. You never know though, there is always the chance of striking lucky and picking up a diamond.}

Bring Novo back and create a NovoPrsoesque frontline, it worked a treat last time only this time use Jelavic. Novo is proven and should have got more games while at Rangers, he's fast and scores important goals aswell as being a die-hard Rangers man lol.
