Thought he was the same against Hibs, had at least 3 hand balls that could have gone against him. He doesn't look like a footballer. I see the complete opposite with regards to Bates. I can’t think of him ever losing a header. I’ve no expectations that he’ll go on to be a Rangers legend, however I’m sure we’ll develop a reliable and strong centre half. The one thing I would work on at training would be his distribution as this isn’t the best part of his game.

See if anyone in our defence was even close to being decent ( and I mean centre halves ) we wouldn't have shipped as many goals as we have! We have Tav and John as our outter backs and come into so much s**t as they get blamed for not defending when we set them up to attack! Alves is the only one I'd say is and out and out centre and when we played young McCrorie in there with him it looked solid! Wilson has left after maybe 3-4 decent games ( after he's been slaughtered loads ) and 75% on here are saying he's jumping ship 😂😂! Danny wasn't the be all and end all he had a few good games that's about it! Cardoso ain't the answer either and if anything Martin has looked like he's has our defence in line since he came onboard! The boy looks vocal ( which we don't have with Waldo ) and seems to orchestrate the defence but tonight in his absence we look to have skipped back a 12 months

If morelos goes we need try find a replacment similar to him as he gives a lot to the team with his strengh forward runs and goals and mcburnie is diffrent type of player from what a seen of him.
Doesnt make sense to sell him this late in the window as murty will not get some of the money to strenghten the team.

I'm hearing Morelos to leave is now looking more likely due to players head looking to have been turned by opportunity to earn anything from £27-60k per week depending on what article you read.
I have no qualms leaving to better yourself in La Liga or BPL but if reports are true and he's motivated by the cash I'd be a tad disappointed.
If we can secure player ready to go straight into team today the deal could be on with Rangers asking for £10m and the latest offer being £8m I'd imagine £9m could be eventual fee that's agreed.
I'm fully aware the Chinese window is open for another month but unless we get someone else in today the deal is less likely to be done.
(The £8m bid was also reported to have been cash up front no payment schedule)
We could make Murphy £1.2, Cummings £1m and Martin £1m deal permanent and get a Striker with £8m with money leftover will be interesting to see this develop.

Regardless of what was bid the fact that Murty said the clubs valuation had not been met should at least put paid to the Celtic propaganda that we're struggling to keep the lights on!
Lawell has been using the press to his advantage for years. If the newspapers are going to try to sell your players the minute they start playing well then you might as well use them to bump up the price by leaking stories etc. how can we forget the £40m to Chelsea or Real Madrid. Lennon's statement that Griffiths is worth £10m being another example. Perception can become reality, and if you throw enough crap at a wall some of it sticks.
However as fans we shouldn't be so quick to sell players or attach speculative values to them. It is impossible to gushed a players true value these days due to the exorbitant sums thrown around by Chinese and EPL clubs.
Given our excellent business so far this window with only a few hours remaining, I for one trust Murty, Allen, and the board to make the correct decisions for the club. If we receive an offer that they deem to be in our best interests I will support their decision and wish the player well. In the meantime I hope our players do the business for us on the pitch!

Swansea are a team struggling at the bottom end of the league so don't create as many opportunities. Swansea u23s won their division so were a dominant team. McBurnie was top scorer and player of the year in the EPL u23s. One of the main criticisms of Morelos was his heading ability. McBurnie is a targetman. With Candeias, Tav etc. whipping balls in he will score a barrow load imo

Today we have signed 18 year old Glen Middleton from Norwich. Having no knowledge of him I decided to check him out and he seems very promising indeed. Norwich fans are pissed that they have let him go. Still young this lad but I have a feeling he will go straight into our first team squad. 🇬🇧.

Wow can yous read? No I have never claimed to know how much any alleged bid was! All I have said is there is no way we would reject the money that was being quoted whether it be £7m, £7.5m, £8.4m, £9.5m! It's your opinion that's the case BASED ON WHAT YOU'VE READ that we are struggling financially! Murty stated that the clubs valuation had not been met, if our finances were as bad as you make out we would not be in a position to knock back any offers. As I've said to you more than once living off soft loans is temporary and in no way catastrophic due to an upcoming share issue. I'll repeat myself again if we were in a dire position financially we would not be in a position to knock back any bid even if it was less than what was reported! The fact that a bid "did not meet the clubs valuation" means that it is not as critical as the rags have got you believing! You are perfectly entitled to have your opinion on what the club would accept. Most people's issues are when you state these opinions as fact. If you were more relaxed and diplomatic in the way you put your opinions across, far more people would agree with you. Suggesting your the only rational thinker on here, calling people muppets, saying we must believe in Santa because we have different opinions are just some of the reasons people question your loyalties. Morelos has done well since he came i know he's young and raw but there's no way he's every going to be an english premier league striker.
I know it leaves us short but i would sell him for what's being quoted, most of his goals for us have come againest the bottom teams, look for a cheap option for a striker till the end of the season boyd, rooney, murray, gav reilly, i would put a bid in for Griffiths just to wind celtic up,

According to one rags online website the latest bid for Morelos is an improved £7.5m offer which allegedly King has turned down as it may hamper our second half of the season ambitions. We paid £1m for him 6 months ago surely a profit of £6.5m represents outstanding buisness for us and is exactly the type of buisness model we should be adopting until we are on a stronger financial footing! If of course the figures quoted are to be believed which I'm very sceptical! Does anyone know if Morelos has travelled with the squad for the game tonight?

I like the lad at Luton Danny Hylton - scoring for fun and good link up player - wouldn’t imagine he would cost that much either. Ross McCormack is another but would imagine on huge wages - viable loan deal until end of season

Alex. It is a contentious issue. Some maps and reference books class Mexico as part of Central America whilst others include it in a general map of North America. Geopolitically, it belongs to Central America due to the Hispanic peoples of that region. Anyway, let's agree to disagree, as long as Pedro doesn't return from there to the UK!

Whilst I do like Morelos, he needs at least 3 or 4 chances a game to score. Could have easily had a couple in the OF game. I would like to see them get £10 million for him - I would be willing to sell him for that. Make Cummings transfer permanent in the summer and have some money to go and bring someone else in

Halliday has a second chance there's been a lot of players that couldn't hack it for a couple of seasons then done well.
