the amount of posts there is about bringing ex players back posters should realise very seldom does it work even in every day life going back to the job u were at in the past seldom works out.

31 May 2016 21:43:44
Especially not ex players who couldn't wait to desert the club and fans.

31 May 2016 19:19:20
Not a rumour or anything but Samed Yesil has been released, he fits Warbs mould. Only thing would be injuries and wages but I'd quite like him. Any thoughts?

31 May 2016 23:02:58
Who is samed yesil?

01 Jun 2016 00:22:16
He has had a couple of bad knee injuries, but he would be a terrific signing if he was to get over that. Great player by all accounts.

01 Jun 2016 12:40:43
young German talent who signed for Liverpool couple years back but career never really took off yet. Was predicted to be a big player.

31 May 2016 17:54:26
Dani osvaldo has been link with QPR not glasgow rangers source daily mail. He was at Southampton then Juventus he is a nut job by the way.

31 May 2016 20:24:30
We don't want Osvaldo, 1 rotten apple spoils the barrel.

31 May 2016 18:23:14
Hi guys

Just watched the below youtube video of Nathan Oduwa, the best what he did at his time with Rangers and some clips with Spurs too.

Would you give him another go on loan? ok i get it that he really had no end product but just look at the way he took 3 / 4 players out of the game in the blink of an eye with his skills, ability acceleration and pace! he would be another option to change a game if things aren't going to plan and really if you think on it that's what we lacked in the run in especially after the Celtic game when form dipped even more!

I would bring him up on a season loan just to have that option alone, maybe get King Kenny to work on him a bit to improve that final end ball?

31 May 2016 18:43:01
Think he's now a free contract refused to sign extension wanted to see what options he had.

31 May 2016 19:09:57
The guy is what, 19? If that's the stuff he is pulling now what will he be like when he reaches 23-24? I think he could be some player in the future, would take him but not on loan, maybe a wee free transfer and shape him into a player over the years.

31 May 2016 18:52:42
King Kenny could do with some help with his final ball too, tho I love the guy, , but oduwa is a waste of a jersey, and a wage, surely you don't think he can work in the sp. ;when he couldn't get a game in a lower division?
Tommy.

31 May 2016 20:30:14
Again still young, agree with Johan, def not short in confidence .
Bit more muscle on him and bit of guidance think he would
be a good addition, especially on a free,

31 May 2016 22:05:22
I'd love oduwa to come back with us, probably seen we were in a diddy league and we were basically guaranteed the win so he just thought he had to turn up, show off n that was that, now in a higher league with higher calibre of players, maybe he thought he didn't need to try. I would hand him a 2 year contract n see how he turns out, if he's the same as when he arrived here after the two years with no final ball then let him go.

01 Jun 2016 02:49:13
For a 20 year old he's certainly got the ability and if he get's better could be a star buy. Profile states his contract expires end of June 2016, if it were me I'd sign him up quick.

01 Jun 2016 10:01:38
Could be a hit or a miss, its a hard one, but a young boy, MW could turn him into a player if he wished to apply himself, 100%.

31 May 2016 17:01:27
Who do you think will come to ibrox in the transfer window? happy with the current additions so far what's your thoughts on the rumours and additions magic has brought in?

31 May 2016 16:51:46
Lukas Podolski?

Surely no!

He says he has a soft spot for Rangers, congratulated us when we were promoted and says he loves the new kits.

Would have to take a sizeable wage cut and I'm not sure what his price-tag will be but he would eclipse any signing we have made in the last 5 years.

31 May 2016 17:54:00
Lukas podolski would eclipse any signing we have made in the last 5 years? Understatement of the last 5 years!

31 May 2016 18:30:51
Has a soft spot but also has 2 years left on his contract and would need to pay at least £5m so not a chance and this isn't taking wages into consideration.

31 May 2016 18:58:59
If he came, and was a big help , he would be a Lukas aid? Sorry
Tommy.

01 Jun 2016 10:02:51
Right this one takes the biscuit, stop posting crap please!

he would be amazing but really not going to happen!

31 May 2016 16:18:44
Callum Kennedy released from Wimbledon, is a CB and he played well in the play off yesterday, would maybe give him a chance, thoughts?

31 May 2016 16:50:39
Im a wimbledon fan and trust me not anywhere good enough not the level we should be looking at.

31 May 2016 18:27:37
Hey we could half time shindigs, tuchters are we.

31 May 2016 18:41:58
Great shout GersB!
May not be the best CB in the world, but what a singer! 😂.

31 May 2016 16:13:22
What about bringing back Robert Fleck, now a free agent and has shown his quality in League 1.

31 May 2016 16:51:38
John fleck you mean.

31 May 2016 16:55:27
I haven't seen much if anything of Fleck, but I have read that he is doing quite well. Would be interesting to see him back. Should have been a much bigger player than he turned out so far.

31 May 2016 17:13:52
John fleck?

31 May 2016 17:16:59
Considering Robert Fleck is now 50 years of age I would say that's a no go. However, I assume you mean John Fleck? Personally mate, I think there's better players out there that we should be going for and I don't see what he'd bring to the team that we don't already have.

31 May 2016 17:23:13
Robert fleck? I know we had a lad called John fleck but never heard of robert.

31 May 2016 17:36:55
Albertz, poster meant john fleck.

31 May 2016 18:02:04
Albertz. How old are you? Think you need to do some serious homework on gers players of yesteryear. Pmpl.

31 May 2016 18:12:04
Eh no thanks were trying to build a new team he's had his day in the sun and wasn't that good anyway average at best!

31 May 2016 18:57:46
Albertz

Robert Fleck played for us in the late eighties. Decent striker and did well for the club. As for John Fleck no thanks.

31 May 2016 19:08:10
I went to possilpark sec school with Robert, and played in same teams for school and Norwich boys club, who were ran by his uncle, Bobby a very big name in youth football, and especially for Rangers scouting Rob went on to be a great Rangers striker, but fell out with souness after an evening out at the dancing.

when the team were staying in the Grosvenor hotel, think it was night before skol league cup final, I know because I was the night porter who arranged his taxi at the back door and let him back in at 4 am, souness, and Boersma were informed by the press, fleck was sold, good, strong striker, who went on to Chelsea and Norwich, fastest thing on 2 legs over 20 yards.

01 Jun 2016 15:30:17
sorry I did mean John Fleck not Robert
(realised afterwards, what a plonker! )
John is likely to be a Championship player next season and could well start to come into Scotland plans.

31 May 2016 11:48:39
Anyone tell me when the first payment for the 4 monthly ST renewal is due to be taken? Currently out of the country and thought it was the 30th May but nothing has been taken yet. Can't be bothered with the hassle and cost of phoning from abroad. A quick response from some one would be much appreciated. Cheers.

31 May 2016 13:12:06
Stuart ac its today the 31 st of may.

31 May 2016 13:53:52
Cheers mate. For some reason mine has not left my bank. I'll see what happens tomorrow and if not ill phone next week when I get home.

31 May 2016 13:28:06
Stuart its friday for season book renewals mate, this friday.

31 May 2016 19:24:10
1st payment out today for folk that have renewed already.

31 May 2016 10:59:38
Stubbs will jump because he hasn't got the bottle to take Hibs out of their division. For me, if he goes Lennon will take the post.

31 May 2016 11:20:58
I think Stubbs is a decent manager, he's well regarded in the football world, especially down south, on Lennon taking over I don't think he will but u never know, he might be desperate to get back into the game.

31 May 2016 11:59:53
On the whole Stubbs isn't a bad manager, finished just above us last year and although well beaten this year his team had a decent record against us including of course winning the Cup.

So if anybody believes he's a disaster as a manager, what does that say about us?

31 May 2016 12:25:01
I don't think Stubbs is a bad manager, I don't think he has the bottle. What I mean by that is that next season will be another difficult one in that division, if he were to fail or find himself in another playoff situation then it could well see his market value plummet. The risk will be too high. If he leaves Hibs for Rotherham it's not for a better club.

31 May 2016 12:35:35
Stubbs will be sensible if he takes the Rotherham job while his credibility is high based on the Cup Win. Being in England will also give him the opportunity to develop as a coach and potentially manage a club like Everton.

The risk of staying in Scotland and potentially failing to bring Hibs back into the SPL, which i'd a definite possibility, would have an adverse effect on his marketability and if the SFA do their job as they should then Hibs will be banned from defending the Scottish Cup and I doubt that there will be money available for new players.

31 May 2016 13:55:20
I think if stubbs has any sense then he will take any other job from down south as he will have no cash his best players where on loan from the manky mob and the other half decent player Cummings will be gone in the summer. it will be near impossible to take hibs back to the spl. ha ha.

31 May 2016 13:30:52
Gdog if stubbs does go elsewhere i can see hibs stuck in the championship for a long long time, maybe they will reconstruct the league set up for them, lol.

31 May 2016 21:29:10
He's off to Rotherham.

01 Jun 2016 10:27:04
Well there we go, he's off.

31 May 2016 00:27:05
Right Bears lot of talk about who we want to see back at Ibrox, I think most would agree that seeing Weiss in midfield with Barton would be awesome! Dunno his situation regarding contract but he has said he would love to come back. I know there are a few hurdles with this deal (fee, wages) and if Magic would want him but I for one would love to see the wee man back in a blue jersey it would be awesome! What's the thoughts?

Oh and read on this about songs at Ibrox. He's blue he's white he's ******* dynamite Barry McCay!

31 May 2016 01:58:28
Would love to see Weiss back aswell however at this time he is not what we need. Would rather see a bit of steel in defence and a goalscorer brought in now.

31 May 2016 09:23:06
I would like to see Kyle Bartley back.

31 May 2016 10:03:41
Weiss would be a great addition however I think Bartley is more in line with what we are needing, Bartley is a fantastic big defender and if we have half a chance of getting him we should jump at it.

31 May 2016 11:22:28
Weiss loved being a gers player but the last I heard he was in the Middle East somewhere.

31 May 2016 12:01:37
Personally I'm happy for Warbs to get on with things and not look back but if I was to choose a player though it would be Charlie Adam.

31 May 2016 14:16:09
Weiss i'm sure just signed for al-gharafa but what a player he would be. but I do agree bring back bartley I normally say don't go back but when sum1 is good then sum1 is good can't deny he is tyen time the defender of anything we have here.

31 May 2016 16:12:07
Kyle Bartley has played less than 40 games in the last 4 years I would leave him be to be honest.

31 May 2016 17:09:52
Weiss was completely overrated, I'd have aluko back in a heartbeat that's about it tbh.

31 May 2016 03:46:52
Weiss seems to have become a Rangers legend since he left, I must have missed something major, did he go on to sign for top clubs across the continent. ? Oh and that song should always be attached to Ian Durrant, a real football legend
Tommy.

31 May 2016 11:55:09
Bartley is a donkey mate. We can do far better than him.
Not big on ex-players coming back at all but it helps if they are good enough.
