When asked to respond, a Rangers spokesman told ssn: "I find it odd (McColl) didn't mention the two chief rebel protagonists Malcolm Murray and Paul Murray.

"Everybody in the city knows McColl's team don't have the necessary institutional backing for the AGM and this looked like a last desperate throw of the dice.
"Interesting too that Mr McColl cannot commit any more media time as well as repeatedly failing to commit any investment in the club he professes to love. Strange behaviour for an alleged billionaire. " this is a responce from people running our club is this serioulsy there best responce they could come up wa it is laughable and like school playground tit for tat bout time they grew up and started running our club instead of responding to the medie all time total joke

{Ed039's Note - I agree with what you are saying, but on the other hand, they actually have a point. Just saying)

If mcoll etc don't win the battle wel be in admin in april

Agree0 Disagree0

N1 the people ruining oops running rangers know this so they are more or less saying give us millions of pounds for our shares or face addmin again

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, their point is erroneous. McCollum will not invest as his money would not go to Rangers operating funds but to current shareholders, Green, Ahmed, Stockbridge, Easdale (s). Unless there is another share offering where mr McColl or King can actually own part of the club with the investment going into rangers books instead of the sharks and spivs then any investment at present is fruitless. They would be as we'll waiting till current funds run out, we do not commit to buying ST's and play a giant, balls out, game of brinksmanship. The bus boys will be off up paisley road back to the depot with the other leeches bouncing along on the back seat. Just saying

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the fans should let the Easdale Brothers know if they are supportive of them and their veils of secrecy or not on match days. "Openness clarity and cleansing"- has it happened? Sorry bus brothers I think you need to do a heck of a lot more and speak up yourselves not through the poisonous Media House and charging his costs to our football club. In the words of the ED-just saying

Agree0 Disagree0

I think you're Donald Ducked.
Just saying.

Agree0 Disagree0

@5 comedy genius! or perhaps not. Still you won the league cup in the seventies I suppose

Agree0 Disagree0

Nothing more than subtle blackmail,
your a billionaire buy us out or we run the club down, or worse re-invest with G_d knows who, s money to continue running OUR club down again while they pick up big bonus, s
King came, he saw, he went home again
no one is giving this lot the money they want for now. but they will pick up 20 times there money if they can continue this farce till December the 7th when the lock in of shares finishes and then they, ll be of paid hansomley for WHAT?

Agree0 Disagree0

Les, your assessment is pretty accurate, in my opinion, but your final question is easily answered. '' They saved our club while Murray and his 'blue knights' done nothing. ''
Yes, they have taken a fortune for their actions but they created the opportunity. In no way am I defending their actions but the Ranger's men with 'brilliant business brains' could have seen it coming and acted accordingly.
Just look at the re-assessed values in the recent accounts and that shows how they managed to con us and, given their position with the shareholding, they cannot lose.
I hope I am wrong but things look bleak unless they get some money to move on and let us be the club we were before Murray's[ David ] ego took over.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes we did no6. And your team wasnt around then.

Agree0 Disagree0

N8 billyb no one had a chance of buying rangers once b and p got involved there was only one guy getting to buy club as we will all find out once bdo have finished there investigation indictments all round ide imagine

Agree0 Disagree0

To 10] Agree that duff and phelps were in place for a reason, so that is why the serious questions should have been asked then. Just remember Green's mob took Rangers on, warts and all. Maybe the others just come out to play when the going is good.
In other words, they did not have the bottle for a fight, and left the door wide open.

N11 billyb walter smith offered more and never had a chance there ain't much point on people debating about it the truth will be told once investigation is done

Just watched Jim McColl interview on sky and I truly believe that we need to get behind him and his team. We need to get rid of delboy and Rodney who are in charge now. Time for us the fans to make more noise and let these scheisters out of our club so we can get back to were we belong. Also all the best to the ricksen family, all the gers family are with u nando.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

@ op I agree wholeheartedly with both statements and in particular god bless the Ricksen family

Ian Black is suspended for the Scottish Cup. game v Airdrie.
Who will start alongside Law in midfield.?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed039's Note - Kyle Hutton or Peralta will drop into the deeper role which is his natural position anyway, if he does Andy Little or Robbie Crawford will play right midfield)

Ed- option would be to have Peralta, Law, Macleod, and Templeton in midfield.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - Its an option but I think you will find it will be Little/Crawford - Peralta, Law - MacLeod ..... creature of habit is McCoist)

RANGERS have stepped up their hunt for a new chief executive following the departure of Craig Mather earlier this month.

The Ibrox club, bogged down by a fierce boardroom power battle, took out an advert in the Financial Times newspaper today.

The ad, placed by Rangers International Football Club plc, said the position would involve leading and developing strategy and commercial activity and liaising with the club's supporters, football authorities and shareholders.

It added that the role requires a "candidate of exceptional quality and experience" and someone with a "proven track record of success within sport".

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Amazing. you couldn't find no end of takers and now its advertised - what happened to king. this is going to cost another 400K per year

Agree0 Disagree0

I see it as two rabbits caught in the head lights.
I am just assuming here but that appointment will take longer to organise than the date for the upcoming AGM, so I therefore believe and correct me please somebody if I am wrong that this is some kind of personic tactical proposition.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry to hug the post here bears. But I have just read the advert for a new CE. They are wanting this post filled as quickly as possible. So here is a wee spanner in the works. let's all apply for the job. This will inundate them with applications and slow up the process. No doubt some the great unwashed will be applying for it, and to be honest I hope they do. Get your application's in now Bears.

Agree0 Disagree0

Watch this we will end up with some Taxi driving Tim with a fake CV at the helm.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe as a rule it must be advertised so suitable person puts name forward and gets job rule book stuff ide imagine
