Hopefully the stories on bbc saying we are financially fine/backed by the board will reassure some folk and giving valid reasons for holding of floating the club again.

in any case the proper authorities and related associations would check up on the financial background and block a share sale in a company whose finances had major issues pending like due diligence, tax cases background checks on directors etc. anything that could affect or dupe investors ; would alert the stock exchange, so such a set of circumstances couldn't happen -oh wait a minute.
No this is the right thing to do. Where things are less than clear Ashley etc honourable hold back until these issues resolved.
