I said when we signed young josh windass and i'll say it again, we will get a big fee for him when he inevitably gets a big move back down to England. I only hope we can have windass for a good few years, because he's got everything, from what i've seen so far, to play in the english premiership with a big club. Josh windass and michael o'halloran, imo are the 2 most direct players we have at rangers and our team looks very potent and balanced with these 2 in the team. They look good in the team together and as far as I'm concerned warbs must start with these 2 every week! They bring so much attacking flair to our team.

31 Oct 2016 22:48:32
I must say warbs15 you did stick by moh from the start and he's proved you rite. Windass looks the part as well just hope he can stay fit.

01 Nov 2016 07:46:03
MOH has done well in the 2 games played however it's a bit early to say he has proved Warbs 15 right. Let's see if he consistently performs especially against Celtic, Aberdeen and Hearts.

01 Nov 2016 08:19:58
Biffo316,i only hope moh gets the chance to play against aberdeen, celtic and hearts. He'll without doubt, imo cause all 3 big problems, if he plays the way he's playing just now. His pace, power and directness, will cause any team problems!

01 Nov 2016 08:58:26
I have to say MOH has done better than I thought he would (so far) and I hope he continues in the same vein.
Big shout out to SuperCooperEleven who had been advocating him forever and I have disagreed with several times!
I also have to agree that both Windass and MOH gave us real dynamism.
What has surprised me mostly is MOH's recent confidence taking players on. If he could just show similar confidence in finishing and inside the box we could be on to a real winner!

01 Nov 2016 09:13:37
I would also like to add that although people may doubt his ability (like I have) against the bigger teams it is these better teams who will play further up the field there may be more space behind them to use MOHs pace.

01 Nov 2016 09:58:18
he's a limited player, but you need players who are just going to go out and run at defenders.

01 Nov 2016 11:11:39
Agree warbs I hope he does get the chance to play in those games. Also I hope that come January brings in a few more players with pace.

01 Nov 2016 11:42:12
I've also backed MOH on multiple occasions. He's had a stop start Rangers career so far and I'm sure if him and Windass stay fit they will be the first names on the team sheet.

01 Nov 2016 12:16:32
Alright Alright W15, you can predict the future. Well done. Congratulations. There's plenty of us that have been saying the same. You're not alone there. Anyone with half a football minded brain could see the potential in these lads. Next up is to give the lad Dodoo a run in the first team and drop Miller, give him a breather. To those who have slated MOH, you've either not seen enough of him, are impatient or just the average negative doom and gloom Gers fan. Or all of the above.

01 Nov 2016 15:40:10
If anything i think MOH would be even more effective against selik, sheep, jambos because of the space in behind with those teams having a proper go.

01 Nov 2016 23:44:46
Different types of players but Windass is much more pleasing on the eye than MOH and will offer a lot more in the long term - same remark applies to big Garth - 2 players signed in Jan with vision -.

31 Oct 2016 20:46:05
looks like second place is the best we can achive this year, celtic just have too much (money experience) this season, looking forward mw dw will come good can't see past us finishing 2nd good team good structure, something we've missed
good variety of youth experience and technical players, with everyone fit we will cruise to 2nd.

01 Nov 2016 11:01:57
remember I said this by the end of the season we will be second by a clear 10 points at least.

01 Nov 2016 12:19:26
2nd will do me. Still got the chill of a cawld winter night in ibrox with 20k fans, watching my beloved team playing mcbillynaebody United or Whothefeck Athletic. Brrrrr 2nd will do me.

31 Oct 2016 20:32:01
finishing second is the best we can hope for just now, mw and dw have came in and stabilised the club agree we need more qualitiy to compete with the celtic and europe that will come the retail side is ruining us just now and king knew that when he decided to take full control, but faith in our team and dave king will make us a force once again!

01 Nov 2016 11:03:35
why is there celtic fans on here disagreeing with statements like this. (im assuming its selik fans)

31 Oct 2016 19:24:05
What happened to a person not being able to own a championship team in England and a team in Scotland, it has all gone quiet on that . Why are we not using this to our favour . It's time we got rid of Ashley the man is just bad news.

31 Oct 2016 20:24:05
He's just passed his shares on to one of his stooges, pretty sure there's nothing can be done even though everybody knows it's him that owns shares! The guys not daft he's done these cons for years with no come backs and unfortunately he holds all the aces when it comes to his involvement with us.

31 Oct 2016 22:44:22
at some point this clowns world has got to just come crumbling down. absolute cretin of a man, surprise his family could even look him in the eye.

01 Nov 2016 10:26:53
Didn't think a person could just pass them on either, wasn't that also deemed against the rules, as it still keeps him in power?

01 Nov 2016 18:53:05
Not passed them on for free mate, he'll have sold them to one of his dodgy company's he's got a hand in. Make it look all above board as if he's no longer involved, when really he still owns it as we all know.

31 Oct 2016 14:34:13
Regarding the potential friendly in January, I really hope this isn't an attempt by the club to make a bit of a friendship between us and Leipzig, it'll end with the rest of German football not being interested in talking to us.

31 Oct 2016 16:35:08
onlyshow I don't understand what the issue is regarding Leipzig? have they been up to summink all I know about them is they have been spending a fair bit recently, going to have to do a wee bit of investigating please do tell as I cannae be f#@ked lookin.

31 Oct 2016 18:53:53
Leipzig are owned by red bull who have pumped a lot of money in. Fans in germany don't like this. As far as i know it is just a possible friendly but hypothetically if it was more u
I don't see the issue as we haven't bought or sold anyone from germany in about 15 years and i doubt anyone of bundislega standard will ever play here.

01 Nov 2016 08:04:50
they've only been around a few years.

01 Nov 2016 09:09:43
So uve got more in common with them than u think cee! Haha!

01 Nov 2016 09:04:57
Huey, yes we haven't before, but it's different times at Rangers, personally I wouldn't mind a few friendships between us and a few German teams, they have a lot of cracking youth that could do a job for us. Leipzig are no different they too have some cracking youth, but if it is any more than just a friendly I reckon it's a horrid idea.

02 Nov 2016 08:58:55
Maybe Leipzig are older than Pacific Shelf.

31 Oct 2016 15:44:12
2nd now and far from over, it's only November people.

31 Oct 2016 18:55:31
Over and out, as they say.

31 Oct 2016 19:23:13
Wee question deecee, do u actually believe that?
No wonder your called the "DELUDED"

01 Nov 2016 10:30:58
Cheated what exactly? Must have been out that day.

31 Oct 2016 13:33:42
Let Waghorn go. For that sort of money could of five better c/ f to bring to team.

31 Oct 2016 17:31:08
Does anybody else agree that Clint hill is beginning to look like our next davie weir. He seems to have steadied the defence and even looks to have made keirnan look steadier.

31 Oct 2016 18:56:55
agree looks to have steadied himself and is taking responsibility which is helping Kiernan who to be fair is also looking more confident. Would still rather have Wilson in for Kiernan. Hope you are right but don't really see comparison with DW.

31 Oct 2016 13:24:25
a lot of people on here where looking to get the manager sacked last week. I hope you can now see that second is the best we could have hoped for and that even though we have had the worst start to a season ever that it is just taking the management time to get the players up to speed as 11 new signings does take time to bed in.

31 Oct 2016 13:42:07
He's not had a chance yet to field most of the new signings in the same team. Fling Rossiter, Crooks etc into the mix and I think we will cruise 2nd place. Hopefully Barton situation will be sorted and he can then use that cash to further improve. First year back and to win the league was just fantasy. Follow Follow.

31 Oct 2016 13:44:31
I have faith in mw to build a team to challenge in a year or two but fear he won't be givin time by some fans. This season was too soon to challenge Celtic if only we could get retail side sorted what a difference that would make.

31 Oct 2016 15:42:51
well put jaws I think rangers retail side is what will make warbs walk away as he knows if that doesn't get sorted then rangers will not have the financial clout to challenge which will then fall back on him.
we IMO only need 4 quality signings and we will be up there.

31 Oct 2016 16:35:59
If you think we are only 4 signings behind that lot then your off your head.

31 Oct 2016 19:33:00
And how do u pay for 4 quality signings James?
Let me educate you on the cost of quality mate.
Lets take 2 examples of so called quality players that Celtic were supposed to be interested in.
Joe Allen- last year of contract and had decent euros and was touted for celtic and I would have liked him. BUT went for 12m and prob on 30-40k a week.
Not in your budget or stratosphere really.
Jeff Hendricks a decent championship midfielder who looked decent in euros again touted for celtic.
And I thought prob in our budget, NOPE went for 10m and prob on 20-30k a week.
Out of our budget and out of your stratosphere.
Both of these players would prob better Celtics squad and I think Allen would be 1st choice for definitely but would they make a marked difference? That's debateable.

01 Nov 2016 00:22:47
Of course Joe Allan would make a difference to your team rayman. It's not even up for debate. The guys quality and that's why he's playing in England's top league and not playing in a dross league with overpaid average players surrounding him at a club like yours. No doubts about it. He's literally in a different league. But that's Scottish football for you.

01 Nov 2016 12:05:52
Biffo, sceptic are only 3-4 quality players ahead of us. The rest are the same garbage we ran over the top of last season. 3 or 4 decent players and we'll be challenging or thereabouts.

01 Nov 2016 15:02:25
@ Gon4 you do realise these so called overpaid average players are the best in the league by a mile, so are u calling your own players rubbish? I might agree with you there.
I can smell the bitterness mate.
As for Allen at the time of the possible transfer to us half the celtic fans I spoke to wanted him others thought he was average and wudnt be worth the money.
That is the very definition of debatable mate lol.

01 Nov 2016 20:02:54
Yes I do and no I'm not. Not bitter mate. Just saying it as it is.

31 Oct 2016 07:35:21
I see Ashley is taking us to court over rangers decision to stop him selling replica kits. The case will be heard on the 1st and 2nd of December.

31 Oct 2016 08:00:42
Seen that this morning bosshog. This retail/ kit situation is holding our club back big time. We need this to come to a head and get fixed hopefully in our favour pronto!

31 Oct 2016 10:01:49
hes takin us to the cleaners, duno why no real rangers men offered to buy us, celtic were lucky they had that fergus bail them out, bit gutting that ou rich fellas showed less passion and detemrination than the celtic. onwards upwards teddy bears.

31 Oct 2016 13:37:37
real rangers men?
seriously don't know where u are coming from mate dave king invested 20 million in us before we went bust and didn't get anything back for it aslo came back in spite of that and has taken us from a club which was being taken advantage of and took us back to where we belong. let warbs bring in 11 new players and is in a battle to get rid of the fat rat that is bleeding us dry with his ridiculous deal which does nothing for the club retail wise.
that's sound like a good guy to have in charge to me!

31 Oct 2016 14:01:37
Hindsight is a wonderful thing bluebloodgerz. I really think and wish we had allowed the american robert sarver, to come on board, when we had the chance. If my memory serves me correct, sarver offered the millions to the rats, just before king got in, but he also made an offer to king, when they had got in, which of course was rejected. I think he owns levante now, if its not them then its definitely a spanish club anyhow.

31 Oct 2016 16:03:04
Sarver bought control of Mallorca who are heading upwards in the second tier of Spanish football.

Of course, the blazer chasers among our support tried to insinuate that he was in league with Ashley to put fans off the idea of him taking over.

Who knows how he would have been if he had put his money into Ibrox but I doubt we would have needed some big crisis loans even this early in the year in order to see the season out.

01 Nov 2016 12:10:04
"Crisis" loans? Geez peace. That's Daily Rag chat pal. Soft loans to cover the losses from retail merchandising. As soon as that's sorted, no more loans or investment needed to survive. We'll be a financially stable club thanks to King. Make Europe and that money can be used to bolster team.

03 Nov 2016 08:17:40
a read that we have zero coefficient points and will require three rounds qualify to get into Europa league?

if this is true then the celtic will love that, looks a bit dodgy for us man.

30 Oct 2016 22:22:45
If barton leaves in January i'd like to see mw try and get schwiensteiger on loan, no as if no hope jose is going to need him.

31 Oct 2016 06:48:02
See your back on the crack gunnar.

31 Oct 2016 07:36:27
I thought people had stopped buzzing glue.

31 Oct 2016 09:42:32
are you methadone mick?

31 Oct 2016 09:45:08
My god Gunnar, never in a million years mate.

31 Oct 2016 10:03:58
we can't afford to pay 1% of what he is on at the moment, would u move to a club ( probably hasn't heard of us ) for a 99% wage drop?

heel go to an arab or china country get some real money and teams with" passion" haha jokes atmosphere in they leagues is awful.

31 Oct 2016 11:37:16
Belter cee, nearly pished myself there lol.

31 Oct 2016 13:39:45
