To many bluenoses begining to listen to the manky mob, how many times under sir walter did we play great football, the majority of the time we done what we've been doing the last few weeks, we might not have got the points against the perth saints or killie but today we did and that should be enough! c'mon the arabs tomorow! keep the faith fellow bears, its not as bad as it seems, we could be second!

Sone Aluko is quality in my opinion and is only going to improve. 22 years old, great attitude to get his big move and has great skill, speed and end product. He's already shown how much signing for Rangers means to him and as a player all he's going to do is grow, really happy he's a bear now.

WATP

Believable14 Unbelievable7

Ok so a player who was at birmingham but not thought of enough to be kept on and then transferred to Aberdeen for 90000. Makes no impact at Aberdeen and then released. Comes to rangers as a trialist and pays his own compensation fee. You think that a player like that is something to get excited about . the fans expectations have lowered beyond belief thats all i can say.

Agree5 Disagree8

Yet he still delivered the goods better than jelavic today who was what? 4 mill. bargin!

Agree6 Disagree2

More optimistic id say he doent look a bad player give him time ffs hes just in the door

Wullie

Agree4 Disagree2

He was in the youths at the brum, then he was loaned to Aberdeen who paid 50 grand for him, he was stop start at Aberdeen and never really got going, he was offered another contract but decided to reject that and go look for another Club, He has made some sacrifice to get a shot at a Club like Rangers and Hopefully the boy will do well, its so far so good - he was by far the best player on the park and EDU had a terrific game aswell, but you would never know it, because all you get on here is he is 5hite, when he does play well no one says a word

Agree4 Disagree1

I was glad to see Edu turn up today and thought he put in a great shift as did Aluko, needs to remember to pass the ball a bit more as he wanted to beat the man 3 or 4 times but I'll put it down to the fact he's trying to impress. Good result today and something positive to build on....!

Davie Weir set to retire in January, Zander Diamond in on a freebie

Believable0 Unbelievable10

Thats aw uze can get these days players payin to play or freebies,stef1967

Agree1 Disagree6

Davie weir should have retired 5 years ago. instead he topped up his retirement fund courtesy of walter smith.

Agree1 Disagree8

Oh dear haha. Zander Diamond is a disgrace and Davie Weir could still go in my opinion, would be nice to see him sign for another SPL club and do well because Boca & Goian are too good to split up.

Davie weir has the last 3 winners medals your post is pure pash BTW! blind or what

I thot 2day was pretty poor, although 3 points is 3 points, very nervy 2wards th end!! Any1 who STAID 2 th end would agree!! Again davis was non-existant, he is sitting to deep for my liking considering what we know he can do, Jelavic aswell wasnt up 2 much bt scored th penalty so tht will do aswelll. I thot tht Aluko was great, wot we need, sum1 tht is direct. Bedkinsen - great prospect IMO,Wylde-took his man on bt u need 2 remember ths is dumfermline, edu, bigfoot-decent, whitts-s**te, th rest dun a job, cant b bothered writing a speech so opinions???

For the first half hour today I thought we played really well, some great football was played, possibly guilty of trying to walk the ball into the net. When Bendiksen went off and we moved to more of a flat 4-4-2 I thought we were dire. An improvement though, we could have easily scored more, and were unlucky to concede.

GovanFR

Believable3 Unbelievable0

I agree, people saying we were poor must have sat in gront on gillete soccer! i was there in my season ticket seat and thought it was a solid performance! we wre not as nervy at the back and with boca wallace and papac al due to come back, im sure we will get stronger! solid performance from the rangers!

want to know who i would bring back to ibrox even though he turned us down in the summer miller his work rate is incredible and if we keep jelavic they two can play up front for rest of the season together

Believable4 Unbelievable4

Could not disagree with this more . people go on about him scoring in his final season with us but he did f*** all for the other seasons. and before people say he works hard and chases everything, then if thats all you want just get the fittest lad you know stick him on and tell him to chase every ball. miller was rubbish and i for one dont want him anywhere near ibrox again.

Agree5 Disagree6

Miller was scoring for the 2 season he was back u thick idiots and is a great player better than jelly he is not interested an couldn't score in a barrel of fann*es...... pens only

Rangers struggle, referee gives penalty, nothing changes there. It must have been the softest penalty ever as even Chick Young (your rangers a..e licker) said it was not a penalty. Another win by default. CFC 1967

Believable2 Unbelievable5

Win by default have u heard yersel pal what about the red card the lad got 4 the life threatning elbow on samaras lol get a grip

Agree5 Disagree1

CFC 1967, is this the Celtic paranoia back on show? The Celtic excuse book, you lot have had plenty decisions this year, hence why your 'manager' hasn't been able to moan.

GovanFR

Agree5 Disagree1

CFC 1967. It is well known that Chick Young is a St Mirren fan, and if you listen to the BBC Sportsound, he can't help but drool over all things Celtic for some reason. That aside, you really should concentrate on your own team, as you are allegedly, better, stronger, fitter etc etc etc

Agree4 Disagree1

Chick young are you joking the man is a massive rangers fan. he was on david murrays speed dial.

Agree1 Disagree2

No hes no hes a celtic a**e licker big style

3 points job done regardless quality of play i'm sure Celtic would take the same tomorrow.Beware this evening by the way stiff1967 seems to have lost a quid on an acca and as a result will most likely temper his pain with an evening of Bear baiting .Shaun H

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Just back, first half decent, second half a total non event. Davis needs to take a good look in the mirror, Jelavic needs a helping hand ffs, and Whittaker ?? Dunfermline spotted the weakest link and exploited that position all game, the amount of times he sold the jerseys ! Almost cost us the game near the end too, but, again the gap is 7 points, so we move on and hope for improvement and some players back to stabalise the defence. A big well done to wee Sone Aluko, I thought he was great in long spells and deserved his motm. AndyPandy63........... Mind the gap Timothy :)

Agree3 Disagree0

How many times are people going post that this season? Not great but we got the points

Agree0 Disagree0

What do points make!.......Prizes

Agree2 Disagree0

So sone aluko will have a big bill tonight buying the champayne for himself.

Agree1 Disagree1

Thats not how to spell Champagne ! He won't be buying any, that will be provided in beucket loads for free in May....... He'll be a title winner by then 4 in a row, mind the gap

Agree1 Disagree1

03 Dec 2011 17:03:18
Can't wait for Bocanegra, Papac & Wallace to return - our lack of finishing is quite concerning at the moment but the 3 points are what's most important and Dunfermline defended so well to be fair to them. 4IAR here we go!

WATP

Believable6 Unbelievable2

Your two points are spot on, but I fail to see where they are linked.....

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactly they are defenders so were is lack of finishin comin fae,PS the song we are the people how PATHETIC is that chant,stef1967

Agree0 Disagree0

Because it helps the balance of the team, if we didn't concede another sloppy goal today although great work by Cardle then we would have had the confidence to build from the back, instead we were jittery for the rest of the game. I'd rather have Wallace or Papac cross it in from the left than Broadfoot aswell.

Agree4 Disagree0

Jelavic was not up to the pace, seems to lack the drive & sharpness he had at the start of the season I wonder if he's looking to go, so is not wanting to get injured

Agree2 Disagree0

03 Dec 2011 17:01:57

another typical display at ibrox struggling to kill teams off.not good enough.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Rubbish we had a good game with about 10 good chances at goal. a much improved game and the passing seems to have perked up a lot. aluko was mint, hope it silences the critics!

Agree2 Disagree2

A good game? An own goal and a dodgy penalty decision. We are lacking someone who can score on a regular basis, Jelavic doesn't produce the goods often enough. Maybe sell him in January and use the money to get someone who can.

Agree3 Disagree1

No name read ma post that i done above,stef1967

Agree0 Disagree0

Stef1967... You jus started posting on here when u eventually managed to get into 2nd in the SPL... or is it a points thing? Bet u were 1 of these turncoats that was calling for Lemons head 2/3 weeks ago! Go worry bout desperate dan n co n leave the PEOPLE to talk bout the CHAMPIONS!

Agree1 Disagree0

Fair enough the goals were s**te, but so what like i said had any of the other chances we had connected then we wold have romped. i will say although jela scored the pelenty i thought he was very flat and was of theopinon during the game he sshould have beeen replaced ith laff rather than bendikson come off

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry for above post, my computor has a habit of jumping from one line to the next making anything i say unreadable. what i ment to say was the goals were rubbish but if the chances we had were goals it would be 3-4

Rangers receive a huge boost by news that Scott Broon pants has accepted a contract extension to remain in the Runners up camp for an additional 3 years - nice wee early christmas present for us I thought all we need now is for Samaras to get tied up on a long term deal oh thats right he already is ha ha brilliant!

Believable7 Unbelievable3

Is that the same scott brown that your plastic 'sir', watty smith was desperate to sign? Does it hurt you that much when you see edu and mcculloch line up every week that you couldn't afford scott brown even 4 years ago? LMAO

Agree3 Disagree5

Just think if Scott brown had signed for Walter smith he would have win 3 spl titles and in 2 champions league campaigns instead of picking up a league cup and a Scottish cup, good choice Scott. Ha.

Agree6 Disagree0

What about his league cup win with Hibs? His champions medal from 2008 and playing in Europe this year bring more money into the club?Has agentAluko won anything or couldn;t he afford to buy anything? You lot were all on laughing that he hadn't signed now laughing when he has. Just remember that he knocked yous back because you couldnt afford him. Edu?? LMAO Hope Aluko remebered to give the players their fuel money to get to Ipox today LMAO PAY YOUR TAXES and you wouldn;t be the laughing stock of football.Must have some brass neck to support Rangers and think everyone isn;t laughing at you. and thats from every club, your arrogance has been shot down, you have nothing left to be arrogant about, and once the club smashes into the wall your history and everything will just be a distant memory Third Lanark Rangers anyone? Happy days ahead for scottish football without having to put up with scotlands shame anymore.

Agree1 Disagree2

If rangers go down the tubes sky pull out u plonker, away back to the runners up page and stop bugging us winners

Agree3 Disagree2

A small price to pay for no more of scotlands shame I reckon. There will always be a celtic, can you say there will always be a rangers? So you are saying Sky are fixing our league? That is illegal numpty.I thought you lot didn;t believe what the press said?or do you just pick bits that suit you.Sky can't make any demands over what teams do in a league LMAO Third Lanark Rangers.....clutching at straws LMAO can you prove sky will cancel the deal from anywhere apart from the scottish press pandering to Whyte and giving you lot more fals hope,no you can't.

Agree2 Disagree4

Read the new contract u fool sky only want spl in football if there is only 4 old firm games so I think It's safe to day no rangers no sky tv deal, the only problem with u lot playing on a Sunday is we need to listen to all the crap u spout

Agree2 Disagree1

Where did you read the contract?post a link to it or were you part of the negotiations?if it says that then if either team finishes outside the top 6 the deal is scrapped?B****cks mate, so Sky have rigged the league?Prove it says it anywhere, post a link to the contract not p*** that the papers say.You know as much as us about it,sky can't make that demand on anyone,it would be illegal

Agree1 Disagree1

I honestly don't think Sky can put that in any contract, it is like match fixing if you demand x amount of certain games. It would mean that SPL would need to gaurantee that the Old Firm finish in the top 6. I know it is always likely but you can't 100% gaurantte something like that.I had my doubts at the time and Sky have never commented on it, only the press up here have said that it was part of the deal and we know they just print what they want.

Agree1 Disagree1

How did u feel after the inverness game anyway?

Agree1 Disagree0

To the above post "sky contract" your right,we know as much as your lot about skys contract.just the same as you lot know as much as us about a certain tax fight and final outcome ,but that still doesn't stop yous coming away with all sorts of P*sh regarding the final outcome. every day the same old same old drivel.

Agree0 Disagree0

The deal is only valid if Both Rangers and Celtic Remain in the SPL. It does not say anything about 4 Games a Season.

When Steven naismith comes back next year first thing I'd do is give him the captains armband its clear to me who the leader on the park was now has injuried? Any thoughts?

Believable11 Unbelievable0

I said this at the start of the season and was laughed at as he is "too young and hotheaded"

Steven.

Agree0 Disagree1

He is a diving wee cheat no class to be captain

Agree0 Disagree6

Aye and that idiot brown is a good captain

Agree4 Disagree0

Diving wee cheat?! No class!! That comment disny even justify a counter argument. the wee man was head n shoulders above any other player in the country before his injury. would love to see him captain. id also love to see him play a similar role as he did against motherwell at fir park. for me that was rangers best performance all season and naismith was unbelievable that day. full of energy, composed and creative. a real driving force in central midfield. anyone else agree?
J1985

Agree3 Disagree0

No cos hes a diving wee cheat.

Agree0 Disagree2

Agree mate. He does tend to complain but a captain is allowed to speak to the ref, i.e. he won't need to be constantly moaning if hes listened to. I'm sure being the captain would make him more disciplined in any case. And pretty much every player in football has dived in their career at some point mate: it's becoming an integral part of the game... not that i approve of it or that. Muzz

Agree0 Disagree1

Who cares if he moans? I moan like f**k at fives, every decision given against my team or any decision we dont get, know why? Cause i want to win. i know some folk will come on and say " aw its no way for a rangers player to act" n all this sh**e. i say keep it up wee man, love the fact he contests every decision, shows desire. J1985 {Ed001's Note - or shows a lack of sportsmanship from you. When I was a kid, I would have got battered if I had argued with any decision, I was taught to just try harder to win if things went against me. Whining to the ref just annoys them and makes them less likely to give a decision.}

Agree0 Disagree0

NO don't give him the captain's armband, he might start ducking under shots

Agree0 Disagree0

Look ed im 26 not a daft wee lad. if i want to moan like f##k to refs then im quite entitled to. But im the first person to go over n shake the refs hand at the final whistle. bad sportmanship is having a good moan? Heard it all now. j1985 {Ed001's Note - yes it is, because you are just putting pressure on them to give decisions your way. I fail to see what being 26 has to do with it?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Think iv took your reply the wrong way ed. Apologies. j1985 {Ed001's Note - no worries, it has to be remembered that players are deliberately trying to increase pressure on refs by moaning. Ferguson used to emphasis it to his players, his excuse being that Aberdeen would never have got any decisions going his way against the Old Firm if the players hadn't put pressure on refs. To me it is cheating, I watch a lot of the J League, one of the best thing about is the player's reactions to officials. Not only do they not moan or whine, but they apologise! It is so refreshing to watch and makes me wish it was like that here.}
