Agree20 Disagree15

Do you think Fanta Pants will still be in a job when we get back to SPL or whatever thet will be calling it. His anger management classes seem to have taken a tumble.

Agree13 Disagree7

No has to go as soon as

Agree9 Disagree0

The same Neil
Francis Lennon whom shattered Rangers (1872) 15 point lead in their last ever season in the SPL?

Agree10 Disagree5

I would say McCoist shattered our lead. Lennon has'nt won anything yet that was'nt dropped in his lap. bit like Mancini with Inter. and if you really think any different, well, bully for you.

celtic fan on celtic banter site now claiming rumours of juventus fielding an unregistered player! never defeated always cheated lol. mark.

Believable31 Unbelievable20

LOL! They are still obsessing over how the spl have a duty to appeal this an how uefa must get involved with LNS decision. Pathetic.

Agree27 Disagree16

Op theirs also rumors on the celtic page that it was you that posted it

Agree19 Disagree8

I really don't now what they are going on about. I mean when they first started they played unregistered players from Hibs and gifted them money to join the club. Trend setters I suppose.

Agree10 Disagree8

@1 that's going to really show the spl up for what they are (again) if they appeal their own independent commision findings, every spl club wanted the commision and now some are questioning the outcome because it was not the outcome they wanted

JG

Agree13 Disagree6

@2. since i'm registered i'm quite sure the ed could clear that up so try again. mark.

Agree5 Disagree9

@5: doesn't look like you are as your name is never in a wee box, unless you're not logged in. You could have posted without logging in on that site.

Agree8 Disagree3

@6. same as anybody else only the celtic ed can answer that go ask him if the poster has posted before and wot team he follows simples! mark.

I'm shocked at people on here asking for Marvin Andrews to come, the guy is part of a team that's conceded 60 goals this season, do people on here know anything about football?

Arsenal maybe ripe for a takeover surely cg has bought they shares back as he said he would

Agree2 Disagree2

£1. 5bn being quoted for Arsenal so how the hell did Green get Rangers for £5.5m?!

Agree5 Disagree0

Honestly the next post is going to have McCoist back in the team, most posts about players on here are always ex players is your scouting & youth set up that bad that kris Boyd & Kevin Thomson have been talked about coming back to the rangers?

Lenny

Agree4 Disagree3

2)arsenal aren't in administration and they play in England where they make a profit. Hope that helps

Blueice

Agree3 Disagree0

@4: the vast difference in price was the point in 2. you surely get the idea, especially if Rangers is supposed to be the huge money-making machine Green thinks it is.

Agree1 Disagree0

5) I think my answer explained the vast difference in prices. Surely you can see that.

What do you think about the current crop of young players at Ibrox? I haven't really been that impressed. Aside from McLeod, McKay and to a lesser extent Aird. Not convinced with Hegarty, Crawford or Naismith feel they are all just average and really can't see much of a future for any of them with Rangers. The new signings have all struggled this season yet there isn't much coming through the youth system to challenge these players. Got a feeling as Rangers progress through the leagues they will continue to buy players rather than produce their own

Believable8 Unbelievable15

You can't expect boys to become men overnight. They need time and thank goodness they are getting it. We need to keep youth at the forefront of our future. CheltBlue ps. they didn't leg it either so are legends already in my eyes irrespective of talent.

Agree12 Disagree7

After watching today I hope we don't sign cammy bell.

Blueice

Agree5 Disagree6

@2 its only 1 game, it doesn't matter who we have I. goal behind that defence anyway.

Agree2 Disagree1

I think Fraser Aird has a lot of potential for a young player.

Our EUFA recognized WR top tier 54 titles remains static for the time being, but a new overall WR 55 titles is coming soon, when winning 3rd division.

Believable31 Unbelievable31

03 Mar 2013 13:09:23
What a plonker of a statement. When are you going to accept that this is a lower division title, awarded to minor teams participating in minor leagues. The only title to be counted this year is the title that will soon be awarded to the Scottish Champions along with a place in the Champions league qualification.

Agree26 Disagree28

@OP: which is the most successful league team in English football history, according to your logic?

Agree4 Disagree2

Linfield has moved to 51 and on their way to 52 by the time you get back to the top your record will be gone

Agree15 Disagree11

Hibby here

I honestly thought that the winners of each individual league recorded their achievement. Of course winning a lower league doesn't give access to European competitions but we wouldn't have a top league without leagues below it ergo their importance to the top league shouldn't be under estimated.

It's done, it's over. __________ sand

Agree7 Disagree1

It dosent matter if its a lower div, its still a leauge title, 55 soon, watp {Ed001's Note - it is a DIVISION title, not league title.}

Agree15 Disagree5

Is mr lennon the best manager, in scotland. or is it because he has more money than the rest, be careful with your reply, the 3 judges might read it, THE TIC MAN p, s, it is one or the other,

Agree4 Disagree3

Aslong as its not celik we really couldn't care less

Agree3 Disagree4

How can anyone claim to be the most successful team by winning the bottom tear don't be so ridiculous

Agree13 Disagree7

03 Mar 2013 16:05:39
to poster 5, the history books will read Scottish Premier League Champions 2012/13 Glasgow Celtic.

Scottish League Division Three winners Glasgow Rangers, nothing about being the champions of the country, so not a title that will be acknowledged in any history books as a national award, however sure the wee hectors fans will shout and scream its title 55.

Agree9 Disagree5

Ed shut up, why run a rangers fan site if your a tic, get a life you sad person {Ed001's Note - you aren't very bright are you? I am far from a tic, whatever one of those is. You need to grow up and get an education. Oh and find somewhere else to spout your offensive bile and hatred. How many league titles do Liverpool have? 18. They have also won 4 Division 2 titles, but they aren't counted as league championships for a reason. They are NOT league titles, merely division titles. You only win a league by finishing the season at the top of the highest level of it, not top of the lowest tier.}

Agree10 Disagree6

@7: I doubt Mervan will win that many.

Agree1 Disagree0

@13: what about McCoist?

Agree3 Disagree0

Did he not win against Barcelona and spartak Moscow? Big games. This has been a great season for celtic only a zellot would claim otherwise.

Agree7 Disagree1

11. So by the logic you're going by winning a division in the 4th tier of Scottish football is the same as Barca winning La Liga this season?

Please don't make us a laughing stock by making claims like that. ED is 100% correct on this one.

Agree8 Disagree3

@11: this isn't a Rangers fan site but a site for banter about Rangers. You do understand the difference? There are many Rangers fan sites but this isn't one - it's for football fans to have banter about Rangers, although there are sometimes other topics too.

Agree4 Disagree2

Beat Spartak by cheating, that was a dive, clarify that Lennon.

Agree4 Disagree7

I see Celtic fans are getting rather upset ‘cos when we win the 3rd, 2nd and the 1st, or any other league set-up that’s put in front of us, on the way to the top, they won’t be any closer to our league total.

Agree11 Disagree7

@18: are you daft or haven't you read what Ed001 said about leagues etc. Do you think Liverpool have won 22 or 18 league titles?

Agree1 Disagree1

@18: no, Celtic (and other) fans are laughing at the nonsensical theory that winning Division 3 etc. counts towards the total. Laughable.

Agree6 Disagree5

@ 18 we will be a lot closer to it than you youll be on 3

Agree3 Disagree1

N0te to ed so both rangers and celtic have only won a few league titles its only premier league titles that count is that honestly what you believe cheers {Ed001's Note - nope, it is top tier titles that count. Nothing to do with whether they were Prem or prior to the Prem's creation. It is all about whether they were top of the tree or top of a lower tier. It is not really difficult to understand is it?}

Agree3 Disagree1

@10 Dare I say Ed answers the question because 1) he is intelligent enough to know the answer 2) He isn't blinkered by blue tinged specs and sees facts for facts and 3) to further prove his intelligence I think he isn't far from the mark by describing you as not very bright.

Stupid post from a. well you know the rest.

Agree3 Disagree3

C'mon guys, top league titles only count however I will count div3 as trophies won in total. CheltBlue

The sun is reporting that rangers didn't call for change in the power of clubs to ban fans. Has the sun forgotten that rangers are not entitled to a vote due to their associate memership?

Think hard about the statement, it's really not that hard to understand surely?

And another thing Celtic fans seem to be confused over what mr Green said in the Sun and making out he said Puma are bigger than Nike. He didn't. I quote -- 'Puma and Adidas are the two top football brands. Nike is the best sports brand in the world but they're not the best in football. '

Simple to understand I would have thought.

And as Puma are now part of Gucci guess which fans are gonny look more stylish next season

Agree5 Disagree6

@1: check the Puma website, which says it is third in football behind adidas and Nike.

Agree10 Disagree0

@1: just because it's owned by Gucci doesn't mean it'll be Gucci gear. Fiat owns Ferrari but there is a huge difference between the former's 500 and the latter's 458!

Agree7 Disagree0

Why did green even mention nike? am sure puma didn't pay money to hear green shouting about nike being the best in the world. was he drinking magners at the time by any chance? you couldn't make this up

Agree4 Disagree1

Think Nike only sponsor the big teams like barca, man utd. But eh ho there not big in football. Puma sponsor who? Dundee

Agree2 Disagree1

Nike provide strips for Man Utd, Barcelona, Juventus, and Celtic. Each team leading their respective leagues. Not sure how Charles reached the conclusion that puma are bigger. He'd hardly lie now would he?

Agree4 Disagree1

Which massive European power does Puma produce kits for?

Agree3 Disagree2

Puma sponsors little teams like the ones in Mexico, have you ever seen any big football player or club in commercials for puma or Nike? Even you can see this can't you, why do you hang on everything cg says when he lies 95% of the time?

Agree1 Disagree1

@7 They sponsor Italy.

Agree1 Disagree0

Italy for one!

Agree0 Disagree0

Down to me I think I would rather wear nike and name the clubs who are sponsored by nike

answers plz

manchester united
inter milan
juventus
aberdeen
celtic
barcelona
thats all I can guess

Agree0 Disagree0

@9 and 10: sorry, meant club teams.

Agree0 Disagree0

@11: Aberdeen wear adidas kits. Arsenal, Porto, PSG, Atletico Madrid all wear Nike kits, with Man City to wear Nike from next season too.

Dortmund are the only really big team I can think of that wear Puma kits.

1903

Agree0 Disagree0

Honestly couldnae gie a f**k, just happy to get shot of Umbro. half expected a new deal with Admiral so Puma will do nicely for me.

Been reading a lot of articles on line and reading the comments below, Had a read of Davie Provans article about wanting rangers fast tracked into the top divison to give scottish football the lift it needs since all the so called fans haven't turned up in numbers to games like they said they would, if they voted rangers out!

Every comment is celtic fans or other teams saying NO to having rangers fast tracked up the leagues (we cheated, mis-managed, deserve to be where we are, we are a new club etc etc. )

But my question is, do any rangers fans actually want to be fast tracked up the leagues? Personaly I dont. We are where we are, we are filling stadiums, and I don't want put bk into the top flight just to satisfy clubs who can't get bums on seats! (Including celtic, they had 9,000 at a mid week game which is horrendous!) they go on like we are desperate to get bk into the spl, but as far as I see we are all getting on with it and not on crying about this and that like them?

Believable15 Unbelievable8

Aye right so that's why your club threatened to leave scottish football because you where in the bottom then

Agree12 Disagree6

Personally, I think we would struggle, initially, but I am convinced that we would adapt. However, I think we should tell the spl to continue with the mess they have created. Just compare the welcome we have had from SFL clubs to the continued venom from the supposed elite. An ''elite'' with 6 spl clubs and 2 sfl div1 clubs involved, cannot in 4 Scottish cup quarter final ties attract spectators close to the bears that watched our game versus East Stirling. The only reason that they would want us fast tracked is for our cash.

Agree6 Disagree4

@1 no charles green said he would be lookin into leaving scotish football because of the spl's f#kin rubbish reconstruction plans tell me any other country wer u win a lower tier league but don't get promoted its a joke

Agree4 Disagree5

@1 your fans are now calling for Celtic to get out of scottish football because of the LNS decision.

Agree3 Disagree3

@3: there is promotion. Currently it will take 4 seasons (including this one) to get to the top league. Under reconstruction if it comes in this summer, it will take 3. In fact, Rangers would be facing top league opposition sooner than that if they are promoted each year.

Agree7 Disagree2

@3 falkirk won div 1 and did not get promoted into SPL.

it happens all the time in many leagues, anytime reconstruction occurs. ! or your stadium does not meet requirements.

reconstruction means better games sooner!

Agree2 Disagree2

@ 3 that will only happen in the one year that the reconstruction happens and happens every league that gets reconstructed but typical rangers only thinking of themselfs without giving a hoot that this is a long term plans for all the clubs in that league not just to fast track your club

Agree3 Disagree1

What about when stranraer got promoted above the they played in after reconstruction took place
If that is followed rangers would go to div 1 or whatever they are going to call it

Agree0 Disagree0

@ 3 so if green is happy then answer this question. when the spl voted to decide if newco could join the spl oldco had a vote green cast that vote on behalf of oldco so what did green vote for? was it a yes vote or a no vote?

Agree0 Disagree0

@9) Wrong again! Duff and Phelps had the oldco vote and voted to stay in SPL
JMG

Agree1 Disagree1

Without European cash coming in rangers will be feeling the pinch in the lower leauges just as much as the rest of scottish football. They still have a very large wage bill an not much money coming in. Can't have a share issue every year can they. I think there's far too many professional clubs in Scotland, some of the smaller clubs should merge forgetting the made up rivalry they have.

Agree2 Disagree1

@ 10 and green didn't advise them? the bottom line is green wanted into the spl so don't give us this we are happy rubbish

Agree3 Disagree0

Op of course we don't want fast tracked cause we need players of a higher standered 2 compete by the time we get back to top league we will be ready cheers

Agree0 Disagree1
