with quite a few fans moaning about stonewall penalty decisions they never got at killie and ibrox yesterday etc, with most refs failing the basic referee test do you now agree that celtic where correct when they asked refs to get decisions correct?have refs improved this season or are they still making honest mistakes?

Human error part and parcel with football we all hate it when its costs us a game but when its the othere way around we cant believe othere luck human error is just one of the thing that makes football what it is its one of the biggest talk point every week and lets face it rangers and celtic are all most allways going to win this league a little human error from time to time make it more interesting ... do we really want to go down the ruby road and stop every time Lennon feels he was hard done by ? any way am ending my rant :P i no am gona get stick from celtic fans and maybe a few bears to but if we lose a game on one bad decision do we really think we deserve to win ?

Been plenty soft penalties and *simulation* this year already....all apparantly missed... Aluko did dive, sure plenty more players in the league would have to. Time to rid the game of it, also players play acting on injuries, if they jump right up and are fine, yellow. Lol..
Stamp it out.... Wonder who is up next, stokes, occonor, murphy,
Agree2
Disagree0
I was at the game and it definately appeared to be a dive ( happened right in front of me ), however what has failed to get mentioned at all was the stone wall penalty claim 5 minutes earlier when there was a blatant push on the same player. Can you really blame him for exaggerating when the refs are so inconsistent that they fail to miss these ?

If the SFA decide Aluko dived (which he did to be fair) will the punishment be the same as if the referee had seen it, a booking? Probably not, last week Aluko had a blatant penalty not given, they should review that and demote the referee.

I'm pretty sure ally doesn't need to get a penny of it, he gets a salary right? Fair enough we are a target for sad Celtic fans with nothing better to do with their time than post on rangers forums. But It looks as if Celtic fans are actually worrying more, maybe it's because they haven't managed to win a title in the past few seasons, because it's all about the football right? So Lenny miko e.t.c while you guys are scraping enough money together to pay the guy with a staffie. Mr skintight whyte will be sitting back smugly with a grin on his face watching the mighty gers win another league title. Haha the most successful domestic football team in league footballing history. Not bad eh
Agree3
Disagree1
Your gloating about winning the spl 54 times seriously ? Get a life ! The spl is a weak league every knows that ? Givin the money & 55 years anyone could beat that record in the spl.Â
We support 2 of the biggest teams in Scotland hence why we are wanting down south. If you said to any football fan well my team are the only club to win 54 league titles they would just laugh at you if you said it was in the spl. Honestly unnamed poster you really have scoped really low now for a come back.
Aye whyte does have a grin on his face because see when s**t hits the fan he walks away from rangers still a millionaire ? Also I'm sure whyte is happy just now eh? Only a matter of a couple of weeks ago rangers were 12 points clear now their 4. He's now admitted he was banned as a director & now it's public, bearing in mind this was in the BBC doc that whyte banned.
My 1st post was ment as will ally get 8m to spend on players ?

Agree6

Ha, lenny you have bitten and agian you look like a fud, given the money and 55 years anyone could beat that record? really did celtic manage it? haha! no. has any other team managed it? no. and the spl yes it is weak but reality check lenny that is where our teams have been plying our trade, are you really that thick? yeah anyone can watch a documentary by the bbc and yes he has been banned, so what. is that all you can say just now. Broken record springs to mind. and as far as 12 points in front and now 4...... who is still top?
how are celtic doing in europe? i mean what a joke, the only team not to win a qualifying game and still qualify, you couldnt write it what a laugh. And as regards to your first post, ally doesnt need to spend 8 million to win the league again, i would imagine half of that would be more than enough to secure the title again.

At the game yesterday I am up in Scotland for the weekend season ticket holder at spurs. Watched the Celtic game on telly by god the old firm would toil in our 2nd division there is not a player in the two teams that could play in the premiership Steve Davis is meant to be the rangers playmaker he's gash as for Celtic ave seen a better game in the conference Dundee utd are like a Sunday pub team they couldn't pass the ball 2 yards the boy flood looks like he got grabbed out of the crowd to play as for kayal he is not a footballer. Old firm for England no chance jelavic is far to lazy to play England. Stick with your pub league boys
Believable3
Unbelievable6
Is that the same spurs side that are struggling to get out a easy Europa league group?
Agree5
Disagree0
EPL is a money drivin league. Celtic & rangers have beat teams in the EPL before & considering if Celtic & rangers sold their whole squads they still couldn't afford any team from the top 4.
Also the reason the EPL dont want the old firm is because after a few years & money behind them they would be in the top 4/6 easy & every other team don't want to risk that & hurt there chances
Ps yes I just bite the bait lol
Lenny
Agree6
Disagree0
Its easy to sit there and slag scottish teams when you are in a league that gives around 24 m to the team that finishes bottom if spurs got the same money as we did do you think you could attract your modric bales and vdv i dont think so if we had the same money both rangers and celtic would be fighting for the prem title sooner or later i think your just another english club fan scared of the old firm.i actually live in england as well and i work with a lot of spurs fans who dissagree with your opinion but thats all it is an opinion dont like our football dont bloody watch it!!

Good shout Lenny, canny believe I would ever agree with you. Could you imagine the pulling power the old firm would have down there. Think of the players that have already played in the pub league, ha the de boers garza Larson ray Wilkins terry butcher christ we could go on about this all day. I would say spurs are a very good side under the current climate in the EPL but I mean can anybody remember the last time they came first at anything?

"your Football" the average team has 4 home bread players playing in it you total F*D. Can't believe a team like Spurs would have a walloper like you as a supporter, whats your average crowd at white hart Lane, bigger than parkhead or Ibrox .. No didn't think so .. cockrelsucker
Agree1

"Premiership" is a load of over-hyped tosh anyway. A few decent teams and about 17 that make up the numbers (the spuds included). Newsflash: no team with Jermain Defoe is going to win the league. How much silky football got played at Goodison Park yesterday. It's just money, money, money- your diddies just get a lot more than ours is all. It'll all come crashing down. Who's wigan's highest earner and what does he get? whatever it is it's a lot spread between the eight fans in the ground on a Saturday! Bolton are £100m in debt! Who the f*ck are their bankers if a big club like Rangers are getting their nuts squeezed for a piddly £20m?!?
If reconstruction is one member one vote amongst the epl teams in what reality would the 17 or so teams that make up the numbers, and are no completely sure they won't get relegated, (your spuds, evertons and aston villas included obviously) ever going to vote for that?
Agree0

I actually think it's a joke how little Spurs have achieved given the money you have. Wow finishing 5th in the EPL then doing f*** all in europe every year! Well Done. Meanwhile Rangers from a pishy league and wih no money got to a europa league final just a few years back.
Glasgow Rangers are and always will be a MUCH bigger club than Spurs. FACT

ED001 as a Liverpool fan you must be pleased with cup draw that puts City v United, one of your main rivals going out cup early. I have to say but, Liverpool seem to get favourable draws in all cup competitions and always seem to get a wee team at home. Last time my team Celtic got a home draw in any cup competition was is 2008/2009 season I think against Queens Park in Scottish cup.
This year my favourite English team is Tottenham because of their style of play so I hope they win cup. Timalloy {Ed001's Note - I couldn't really care less who City or United get, as for you nonsense about Liverpool getting favourable draws, I think you are insane if you believe that Liverpool get easier draws than United.}

Your concept of "good" football must be different from everyone elses in the footballing world. How can you possibly have Celtic and Spurs in the same sentence regarding "good" football. Celtic are nowhere near the class of spurs.

This is a joke - this was a penalty all day and there were 2 unpunished challenges in the lead up. The ref had a shocker all afternoon from both teams' perspective.
"The Scottish FA are likely to review an incident that let to a penalty for Rangers in their 2-1 win over Dunfermline, BBC Scotland has learned.
Pars manager Jim McIntyre claimed Rangers' Sone Aluko dived to with the spot-kick, converted by Nikica Jelavic.
Alleged simulation can be processed using the SFA's fast-track procedures and compliance officer Vincent Lunny is expected to review the incident.
A decision would be made on Monday at the earliest.
The penalty was awarded by referee Steve Conroy when Rangers were already a goal up, with Martin Hardie the player penalised.
However after Jelavic netted, Joe Cardle pulled one back for the Dunfermline to set up a tense second half."

Unbelievable2
...Yet another example of the great unwashed getting their propaganda machine up and running to try to influence the referees and the sfa again..the hoops have been raging for the last couple of days about this...seething rage as well...which is strange as they were not even involved in the game...

Cant honestly believe some of the answers on this thread. Aluko dived pure and simple. If you cant see iyt your blind. Its a curse in the modern games and players in every team in the league do it. Unfortunatly for Aluko he didnt do it very well and although he "won" the penalty he will most likely be punished. Its nothing to do with blatant penalties not given etc its about the boy being caught cheating.

Hey bears football post only today. Celtic win at Tannadice, always a hard place to win and we did it by playing football. Gap 4 points and closing, you have 3 away games in next 4 games including coming to the great theatre of football Parkhead.
You will be lucky to get full points before 28 December, you cannot rely on your biased refs giving you dodgy penalties EVERY week. (See SFA is looking at Aluko for diving, hope they throw book at him)
Celtic hitting form and getting injured players back, Rangers get ONE player Naismith injured and cannot cope ha ha, better wrap jellyfish in cotton wool.

Can I just say when the announcement came over the tannoy at the game yesterday. The guy clearly stated they are going to be a 1 minute silence. So WHY did a quarter of the stadium start clapping? It started at the Broomland road stand and the away fans. Come on that's not our style. We do minute silence. Let the rest do minute applause.

I was in the Broomloan stand and I was was bemused when it started m8, but once it got going, too many joined in. You see it everywhere else in Europe teams clapping etc, even last week Gary speed got a clap rather than a silence. Plus if anyone was low enough too boo or that then it would gladly not be heard with the clapping
Lenny

I think it's more out of appreciatation for their performance, i.e. like scoring a goal deserves a clapping from the audience at the time. It's essentially a minutes clapping for all the good they gave football. I heard they're doing it in brazil for Socrates tonight.

the person i feel for in all this is ally mccoist a true legend at the club. The right man for the job at the wrong time.
if the courts rule against us we will just have to restart the club albeit 139 years of history will be wiped out.
i believe davis, jelavic know their leaving hence their perfomances, however i dont rate them that highly anyway.
If possible i would get rid of Mcgregor, Weir, Edu, Davis, Jelavic, Healy and Donkey Lafferty. The problem is even if you could get teams to take them for decent transfer fees then most of the money would go straight to the debt.
Mr Whyte
Done a bit of digging on him and what im finding is not good stuff. the companies hes been involved with always seem to end up in liquidation or dissolved in my opinion. Certainly he isnt as rich as is reported.
I believe the rot started with rangers when advocatt moved upstairs. Mccleish was brought in as a cheap manager and david murray stepped down as chairman for john mcllelland. that is when murray became fed up with throwing money at the team and its just got worse since then.

You people really are obsessed with all things Rangers, and find the same garbage to try and give yersel's a wee lift. Lower than a snakes belly and sad, gie yersel's a break, eh ?............. just because you bury your head in the sand doesnt make everything alright. what has dundee united and celtic got to do with the above post.

If players felt they were leaving, would it not make more sense for them to play to their absolute best?

Not if they already have clubs lined up

Knew that would be what the replys would be like.
Typical rangers fans honestly, there's not a hint of Celtic in that post yet up bring dundee utd into it? Have you ever thought it might be a rangers fan that typed it ? Your club is in the brown stuff & with whytes track record just now at rangers so bright to say the least.
Remember the stv interview because that will be whytes excuse ? I was the only man intrested in buying rangers, their wasn't a que of people waiting to buy the club'
It's still early days but taking everything into account with the ring fenced money by the old board, Murray not cracking a light since he sold rangers, the BBC interview that now proved to be right about him being banned the list goes on.if you can't see the mess in hand then just keep your head in the sand.

Dmrangers answered all his questions ? I could be wrong but if you can get me proof on where whyte has disclosed his proven track record (ie names of companies who have been better off since whyte took them over) & how much he is really worth ? Because all we hear is my track record speaks for it self ?Â
I could be wrong but if you could dig up a video interview of whyte stating the above questions then I'll eat my words.

His track record speaks for itselfs simply because of al money he has in the bank and if he didn't have any I'm sure he wouldn't be living in a castle or own a company that is able to take on over 25 million pounds worth of debt! And as for the "video proof" of his wealth?? Tell me any business man who tells people of their wealth!! What a stuid question that is mate!!

Percy's what Miko?
Well-deserved three points the day? World record league titles? Three in-a-row? Championship lead?
If you absolutely must post your s*ite on here every day (and it seems you must) at least articulate yourself properly using the Queen's english, otherwise you might make a complete f*cking fool of yourself one of these days.
Love "unnamed (but at least semi-educated) poster" xx

at last transfer window we had the Eales,Dann etc, that caused much moaning we could not sign them, said at the the time that they were nothing until we showed interest then suddenly they were meant to be superstars, have a look at just how they are doing now with teams that are doing nothing.
