I watched the game against Buckie thistle last night on rtv and I was actually quite pleased with what I saw. I know it's very early but Barry McKay and Gallacher really stood out. Young Andy Murdoch looks a future star also he got in beyond the strikers something we've missed for ages!! What's your thoughts bears??

I thought the game was awful. I know it is very very early but the tactics and standard of play did not fill me with any confidence for the season ahead. I hope I am wrong.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wat was wrong for you bb? Your the only one ave seen complain

Agree0 Disagree0

Ditto more macoist mince

Wull61 do you have a missus? Your needing some relief man, every comment is a negative post about ally

I thought the ability of some once top level pros looks to have continued on a backwards slide. We have too many players who have shown great promise only to have gone steadily backwards in my own opinion. I thought the passing and movement off the ball was at best amateur. I see too many of our young kids who have undoubted ability going stagnant at best. I though blacks attitude and ability looked awful. I thought Stevie Smith looked shoite. I thought Gallagher looked real good. I felt Hutton whilst one dimensional was the only player on the park capable of completing a pass. I guess I am just exasperated at the poor quality despite the wages payed to the players and the coaching staff. far better tactics and performances can be viewed within the Scottish game on a fraction of the budget. Very amateur at best is my view I'm afraid

Agree0 Disagree0

Well I have to say I watched the game today and my concerns are further deepened. No tactics and poor ability. It is too early for panic but I'd be interested to see how many people are fearing watching P Poor football for another year, winning is ok the manner in which it is achieved is important too. last season I started turning off or leaving before games where done I really want to enjoy the spectacle again but really can't see with the existing coaching structure in place that will happen?

The media & quite a few rangers supporter's keep going on about us needing to sign an attacking playmaker ie. a no. 10 if you like but I believe we already have one in the shape of dean shiels, if we can keep deano injury free he should be our playmaker, he's a good footballer & positionally a very intelligent footballer who if fit would never be out my starting 11, what do we think ed & supporters in general?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Gazza - Barry MacKay could fit that role

Always hungry for the ball, likes to go forward, can beat a man easily and can find a pass,

barry McKay? lol

Agree0 Disagree0

I also couldn't argue with your point on young barrie mckay being our playmaker, totally agree with you jg, he's full of energy and takes players on, cracking shout mate!

Agree0 Disagree0

If anyone in our current squad would play the number ten role it would be David Templeton. Intelligent, quick, good dribbler, can take people on and can finish.

N4 believe must agree mat a sensible post

george Latham still out of pocket 4 months after giving the club a million pound loan. Meanwhile ally is going round trying to sign as many players as possible to hide lack of management skills. We are on the brink of another financial melt down again and ally still handing out contracts to players we don't need to win this league and not one member of the board will stand up to him, the man a law unto himself. Never once has he thought of the club first from we don't do walk away to now everything he has done has has a price from the near 800k a year wages to the million 1p share all done in the name of his love for rangers. A lot of fans won't be happy with this attack but NO ONE IS BIGGER THAN THE CLUB and the club comes first in my eyes not allys ego

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I have been spouting that for long and weary

The board told him his budget and he's using it any manager would ,if the player budget wasn't there surely he would've been told he can't bring players in .

There is agreement to pay in shares also if he wants

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't agree OP. The management are keeping tabs on costs and the players brought in will boost ticket sales. I believe McCoist will give youth a chance and there are at least four players who, from their ranks, will be regulars this season.

We have to fill out Ibrox and it's up to the fans now to back their team.

Agree0 Disagree0

Are these loan not to be paid back by september at the latest also i'm pretty sure gl wants the 1m back but said he would invest the 75k interest back into the club

3-0 win for Gers in friendly but most interestingly, Ally praising Gallagher and Mackay for their performances. With Gasparatto also getting as start, has Ally finally seen the light? Hope so!

Barrie McKay, 19 years old - 46 appearances.
Lewis Macleod, 20 years old - 55 appearances.
Robbie Crawford, 21 years old - 51 appearances.
Fraser Aird, 19 years old - 59 appearances.
Sebastien Faure, 23 years old - 58 appearances.
Nicky Clark, 23 years old - 30 appearances.

Seems McCoist has a knack of "seeing the light".

Barrie McKay, 19 years old - 46 appearances. - Loaned out after a great camapign in Div 3
Lewis Macleod, 20 years old - 55 appearances. - Constantly played out of position to allow over rated Black a game
Robbie Crawford, 21 years old - 51 appearances. - How many as a sub?
Fraser Aird, 19 years old - 59 appearances. - Can't argue
Sebastien Faure, 23 years old - 58 appearances. - Not good enough
Nicky Clark, 23 years old - 30 appearances. - How much further backwards has this lads career went under McCoist?

Agree0 Disagree0

Think ally would have to get every signing approved at a higher level, so that's down to the board or the clubs accountants to work out, not ally!!
