Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

04 Sep 2013 22:45:21
Very surprised to see how much some of our players have improved this season now that they have got a rocket up their arse and know there's competition for places in the team now whereas last season 90% of the team knew they were going to start week in week out the defence last season was woeful and the same defenders this season have been tight gits and given hardly any goals away but I honestly believe if we meet say dundee utd or such like in a cup this season we will win if our strongest 11 are available and would honestly fancy our chances of giving celtic a game as celtic haven't been great so far either.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Lol! Are you for real? Celtic are playing big teams ya rocket. And don't forget group stages of champions league to boot.

Agree0 Disagree0

What big teams have they played? Admittedly, they are still better than us, but, they are now what they used to mock us for - a selling side.

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 you probably played the 3 easiest teams ever known to get to the champions league and looked garbage in 5 out of 6 games.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hibs beat us 3-1 on tuesday and we played all available players, don't think were ready for Celtic at the moment, let's see how this season goes first and maybe next year.

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 it was a bounce game with match fitness the key, get a grip ffs!

Agree0 Disagree0

Going on the wages we are paying out, we shpould be able to beat the likes of Liverpool etc, never mind DUFC.? Saying that we were paying large sums last year and we couldn tbeat soem p/t teams.
Lets just get through the league we are in this year in a dignified manner and anything else will be a bonus.
Especially for all our directors and management team whose apparent win/bounus scheme must surley be one of the best in Britian.

Agree0 Disagree0

@6 get your point "lets just get thru
the league's" but beating Liverpool etc
players on (reportedly) 50g-80g a week come on!
lol
billy h

Agree0 Disagree0

@3 read post 4 a team struggling for form in Big league also probably using the bounce game for fitness and confidence and they still tucked you away. You are not a Big club like you would like to think you are and Ally ain't a Big time manager!

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 I didn't realise that was our first 11 that played.

Celtic struggled past shakter karagandy, hardly sends fear into opposition teams.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't get this, why do we still have celtic fans on rangers forums discussing rangers issues. And still say we are not a big team. leave us where we are getting on with life in the lower leagues and actually loving life and the travels, filling stadiums and providing much needed funds to lower league teams. we will come back a stronger out fit and hope fully once board room issues are sorted and we rid our team of the spongers we can compete with celtic. I for one have been to numerous games watched rangers and ally at close quarters and we would struggle against any of the top 6 teams. we need to sort out the wages as these guys are still using the name rangers and guessing we are loaded and asking for ridiculous wages and bonuses to play in lower leagues. that has to be addressed ASAP.

Agree0 Disagree0

10. ) simsonsen, foster, mohsni, cribari, smith, McKay, law, Kelly, templeton, daly, shiels

NOT REALLY OUR FIRST 11 THIS WAS THE TEAM PLAYED

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah. Stupid Celtic, winning ties they weren't very good in (historically the sign of a good team) and qualifying for the Champions League group stages. let's all laugh at Celtic. What were The Rangers last European results again?

Agree0 Disagree0

@12 still living on the glory of last season, three easy ties for qualification this season! and let's face it the sheep worriers gave you a scare, let's see you get found out this season, what was the aggregate score in your last european game, 5-0 so do me a favour, your a wee team in a big league who had a bit of luck along the way, nothing else.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry Billy h bit about Liverpool wa smeant as joke for the unatics on here who actually are looking for us to beat all comers and win cup etc. No way think we near that at this ealry stage.

Agree0 Disagree0

If Rangers had beaten Hibs, the reaction would have been different - none of the 'it was only a bounce game' and more like 'bring on any Premiership team'.

Agree0 Disagree0

@14 I know mate point taken lol
billy h

Agree0 Disagree0

I guess Liverpool is a small club too eh? For Celtic did beat them with the reserve squad so beat the mighty epl club. And what about the clubs you the rangers fans played that no one has heard of in the lower league in scottland? Actual part timers and you still lost on a number of times, so should think of your own teams failures before putting foot in mouth (better the. Head in sand which seems you still do) and look like a numbty

Agree0 Disagree0

@17 how come every friendly u lot lost to over the summer meant never but you beat Liverpool and balde was a world beater.

Agree0 Disagree0

No dis-respect to all you non Rangers people, but can you not just give it a break while we deal with the who are trying to ruin our club. May help, if more you start to join us, in down crying all theses con men who have ripped the heart out of Scottish Football Clubs in the name of profit. Your clubs more than likely have their fare share of them too, you can usually spot them, big car, club tie, table and fed at every match home or away, dissappear when the hard questions start to be asked get all the perks ie cup tickets Scotland tickets free gratis as part their undying loyalty to their clubs bunch of b?y w?rs. the lot them.

@15grow up and don't be so dense, nobody takes any notice of bounce games, don't u get that yet? Listen I may be wrong and u may actually be very young, but try and take this in m8, I didn't even know of the hibs kickabout after it happened, no grown up sensible man would be remotely interested in a bounce game behind closed doors, ffs, do u simply need to post such drivel tommyblue

Agree0 Disagree0

We have decried them SDM the cardigan super ally campbell ogilvie and every other tax dodger sorry was that not the con men you are alluding to

rangobango

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic couldn't beat inverness 2 very late goals against ross county and dundee united and were lucky to beat the pub team in europe

Agree0 Disagree0

@22 you are already out of a cup you thought you had a chance of winning, you ain't a big football club any more.

Agree0 Disagree0

At least Celtic win in Europe

Agree0 Disagree0

@20: calm down, mate. The post was about certain fans who would have used a victory in a bounce game against Hibs to claim Rangers were better than all Prem teams. I'm not interested in bounce games one iota but you can't deny that there are some on here who think that a victory against a prem team in one would have mattered. As for accusing people of being dense, read the post properly - the reaction WOULD have been different IF Rangers had won - you know it, I know it. Some would have attempted to use it in a 'bring them on' cry. If you don't realise that, you're the child.

Hi fellow bears! And Ed, Just wondering if anybody has heard anything about the pandza deal in the last few days? I know a lot of you feel we don't need any new players but I can't help feel he would be the last piece that's missing in the puzzle, I feel Rangers should come out one way or the other and tell us if he is joining or not as I feel they have messed the player about enough and its all right ally saying not all deals happen in 24 hours but for gods sake we have been supposed to be signing the player since early JULY (come on) either get it done as I feel the player defo wants to join the gers, or grow a set and come out and tell us (the fans) its a smoke screen and have no intentions of signing pandza! I see one of the other clubs interested in him is Royal Antwerpt (spelling) amongst a few others.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Maybe its him messing us about?
tommyblue

Agree0 Disagree0

We don't need him, we have enough players.

Agree0 Disagree0

Think it may be off, Zaliukas is training with us at the moment so I reckon it's more likely he will sign

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Sep 2013 12:43:42
@1 if it was pandza that was messing us about don't you think he would os signed for another team offering more money than us by now? Just a thought, and to @3 yeah it looks likely that it will be Zalukaus. (spelling) now, I think your right but I think this could turn out to be a mistake, should be pandza in my eyes (Bosnian international) no comparison.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Sep 2013 20:22:29
Firstly I simply said Maybe, nothing more so please retreat ure neck back a notch, and I believe Zaliukas is also an experienced international, I believe you probably had never heard of pandza before the papers posted his name, ts all about opinions m8

Was the 3-1 defeat by Hibs in the closed doors game a reality check.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not really no because it was that a closed doors game, with players who hadn't played together before 2 trialists included one being a goalkeeper getting crucial minutes against "premiership" opposition. I'm sure most of our new players will fit in just nicely.

Larky Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

Doesn't say much for what's in reserve, one day you'll get to play in the big boy league and once again Ally ain't no big time manager!

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Sep 2013 07:34:47
its a bounce game m8, could have been 20 each, makes no difference, their simply there for trial, fitness purposes, you would be lucky if there was any tackling involved,

Agree0 Disagree0

@ Larky.
I appreciate your loyalty but I assume from you comments that Hibs had no new players playjng that hadn't played in the team before.
It certainly was a reality check.

Agree0 Disagree0

When have bounce game results ever mattered? They are about fitness for less played players

Agree0 Disagree0

@5 I guess they only matter when you win I guess or when Celtic lose! Yeah they are pretty important then aren't they!

Agree0 Disagree0

A reality check get a grip the game meant nothing apart from getting some much needed match practice for the players

Agree0 Disagree0

Some much neede for Hibs also and your still humped.

See the board battle might be over 4 new members (we nearly have enough for a football team) couple of old faces and two new ones but why no Dave King??

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Small steps! First objective was to get "our men" on the Board. Next stage is to have Blin go through the books - NOT the accounts to be published as they will not cover the last 6 months - and conclude the extent the current Board have - if is the case - failed in their fudicial duties as Directors. I expect agreements will be reached behind closed doors that will result in Stockbridge quietly leaving (and one or two others) and new appointments to be made before the year-end. It's all part of the game! Right now all Mather and Stockbridge have achieved is some breathing space and more time!

For the record, if its true I don't agree with McLelland coming back as Chairman. Alastair Johnson was far more effective - and respected.

SPM

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolutely fantastic!

4 additional corporate remuneration packages! Remember what the yank said about those when he was considering taking over the Ibrox franchise!

100% bonuses for them?

There won't be any "old" faces as they were at the helm when the previous club was liquidated and, by law, they cannot be involved in the Phoenix club!

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Sep 2013 10:17:40
Agree about Johnston over McLelland but definitely don't expect Stockbridge to be going any time soon.

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 mate wot are you talkin about Murray will be aloud onto the board I'm pretty sure the businessmen putting his name forward wouldn't be doing so if he was banned and also have the board not said the wages for all would be getting looked at for getting cut so there will be no 100% bonuses

Agree0 Disagree0

Did mccoll not say he would push through egm mather said they were in more contact than mccoll was admitting think mather has been proved to be correct although he gets abuse on this site think mather deserves credit for how he has handle the situation and surely he's allowed these people on the board in the intrests of rangers and not for himself think the gers fans have got mather wrong imo

Agree0 Disagree0

Good points SPM. Blin is a professional and will leave no stone uncovered when analysing the books and you can be sure that there will be a lot of nasty surprises however as long as he stops the rot and at least gives the shareholders some idea of what was going on

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Sep 2013 17:51:16
i really want to post more but phone suks lol. Mather is doing a good job imo its the finance team that most negative rumours rumours are about. sons of struth thankyou on behalf of of all distant bears. i'd love to be sgoulder to shoulder for our great club. cheltblue (on suky phone)

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree OP it looks like we might at long last be going towards the correct direction. Dave King as he has proven before is the one Rangers fan with lots of Wonga who seems to be prepared to plug the holes in the what we can afford and what we actually spend. IMO he will eventually be invited onto the board through larger share holding or our urgent need of reddies. Cost cutting will hasten now with Mr Blin as the fiduciary duties of the board would appear not to have been carried out to best serve the shareholders and the fan base.
According to that well known "friend" of Rangers wee Jimmy Spence of the BBC the second brother of the bus group will also be opted onto the board. As Spencie Boy was continually questioning Paul Murray's and John McClelland's "Fit person status" surely an individual who has served time in Jail for VAT non payment cannot pass this test even though the conviction is long spent?

Otherwise a better day at the office.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Sep 2013 07:45:09
if as you say "the conviction is long spent" then yes of course he is clear, we stopped hanging people some time ago

Agree0 Disagree0

@9 "Fit and proper person"- non payment of VAT- hmm let me think wasn't somebody else guilty of that at Rangers in recent times -of yes Craig Whyte. As you say we stopped hanging people some time ago- which is a pity he would fit a rope just nicely thank you.
Och yes the SFA are bound to over look this "petty theft"

EDs can you PLEASE post as I trying to stop all the arguing and get people fighting. THE BOARD, instead of each other!

To Matt Crozier, Andhol Bears and Baybear. plus any fellow Rangers Football Club fans.
To answer the various posts arguing over support the team at all times and disputing the exact thousands that one team has as a stadium capacity compared to us. truthfully I do not actually care, Matt you are RIGHT we should at ALL TIMES stand up and support Glasgow Rangers in good times and especially in bad, I have done I never left a game early in the 80s and early 90s when we were pish, I just supported Rangers. I loved the treble teams in 70s, it was great the Willie Waddle team winning after the earlier 9 in a row by the other team, I loved the Souness and Smith years Gazza, Laudrup and 9 in a row and the Marseille games home and away I was there. 2008 Manchester and the TSB no money Treble of titles Walter won
Andhol I agree you are tight checked google 60000 capacity right enough I did not know that or truth I didn't care.
Rangers was a typo I meant 50000 SORRY I do get passionate typing as this club means so much to me.
My point Andhol and Matt was I was TRYING to unite all us fans because seriously these people will put us in Admin and sell Ibrox/Murray Park if we let them.
These arguements will mean nothing if we don't have a club left to support.
Matt I am as a fan 100% with you and agree we all should support the team all the time, and if you read my posts I put as my number one thing an honest board and a great team on the field I even say if I am wrong about Ally I will eat my flyers. I am currently supporting him (giving him a season) and the team on the park but it is off the park where the disaster lies in waiting.
Andhol okay so 60000 celtic 50000 Rangers that is still 10000 on average at much dearer prices, plus £23million on players profit from their souting system add on £20million CL money they are leaving us miles behind. THis is why more than anything we need rid of the board. £22million in the SPFL is indefensible farless in the 3rd tier of Scots game. Whether you disagree with my breakdown of it to £105000 A DAY is immaterial £22million is impossible to defend in any way at all if you are honest with yourself where has the money gone? It is in fact now nearer £33million with £7million left IF WE ARE LUCKY.
I am honestly tired of posting and arguing over things like attendances, do we still exist, support the team no matter what. I decided to choose action not apathy 2 weeks ago, as it turns out only 10 turned up despite all the talk on here all the bickering. but it has grown and now thousands more are choosing to act not talk. it is our only chance Bears I could care less about all the petty insults (apparently I cannot spell, or string a sentence together and I am lacking in grey matter. is that it? Is that the best you can do those that insult and bitch rather than putting their opinions into action and turning up at our protests and flyer handouts.
We all love Rangers we should be doing more to prove it.

Lastly my highest praise goes out to baybear as I called him out a few times after him not showing up at Ibrox but he is inteligent enough and man enough to sit, take stock and realise ALL I AM DOING HERE IS TRYING STIR UP EMOTIONS AND TRYING TO GET PEOPLE TO TURN UP AND FIGHT TO SAVE OUR CLUB! FFS I LOVE RANGERS AND I CANNOT BEAR (no pun intended) THE THOUGHT OF ANOTHER ADMIN AND THE SADNESS, DEPRESSION AND SHAME THAT COMES WITH THE AFTERMATH OF BEING IN ADMIN, ask Motherwell, Dundee, Dunfermline and Hearts fans it is soul destroying. I am only just recovering after a year from the nightmare of my team was in the f*****g 4th Division. in my life I wouldn't have thought that possible.

So please bears slag me or my opinions or my posts all you want but if you do not unite soon and forget all the bickering again, we will be in Admin and everyone of you will be asking, "How the f**k did that happen, we had £10 million left in August. jeez mind that guy george kept on ranting and SHOUTING. f**k he was right".

I hope I am wrong. honestly.

Rangers for Life and Action Not Apathy. george

George. - I never read your post fully, no disrespect rather a three year old on my case. Here's an idea- have you ever thought of reaching out to other fan groups (not your own hopeless self servers) I mean in other teams. Show of solidarity? Only an idea. HH joe

George I work nightshift m8 so have just read your post now it seems blin & murray are getting on the board so hopefully we will get all the answers that we want, now where do I start, you say it is immaterial how we get the figure of £105,000 a day, I don't think it is you can't blame the current board for the carnage that cw left behind they had 2 settle every transfer fee that was outstanding, they had 2 pay all the fines that we incurred, I am not, let's get this straight now, saying they all have halos above their heads, I have said before the wages & bonuses they are taking are obscene, but they have said this is being looked at let's see, now maybe I was being harsh with you about the stadium capacities but believe me when I tell you the attendances at parkheid are woeful they are not leaving us miles behind in financial stakes they are breaking even every season with champs league money & sale of players, also they do not own their stadium, mr mather was getting a wee dig in last week, they have basically mortgaged their stadium & training ground & 2 other bits of land they own, 1 of which is under question from a bear with a bee on his bunnett, now george I am not going 2 beat you over the head with this because you say you are passionate about RANGERS & I know you are with what you & the other boys have done, I couldn't do it for reasons I have explained fair play 2 you's all but just calm down when you post because granted we were pish in the early 80's but the early 90's we were the kick of a ball from champs league final, now 1 last thing for the last 2 weeks I have laid out reasons why I do not think we will go into admin 2 if you check further down page I gave ED001 reasons, now I could be completely wrong & if I am hands up but I have said all along I believe there are people with there own agendas in fact I know there is people who want their presence within the corridors of IBROX, I do not include you or the other 9 boys in this, I respect that you's believe in your cause so I will try not 2 go hard on you m8 but as you see I have a different opinion from you's
anyway ED001 sorry m8 just that george posted on this page so am away 2 sleep WATP

Given that I have barely posted recently I'm confused as to why I'm specifically named in your post George? Anyway, keep up the good work. I may disagree with you from time to time but it seems you have me confused with someone else. Either that or our initial interaction has incorrectly scarred you into thinking I'm your nemesis or something? I'm not, hence my open apology a few weeks back. Maybe just focus on the job in hand and don't waste your time calling people out when they have no beef with you. Keep up the good work George and don't be upset when folk disagree with you or each other. It's just human nature, and the point of a forum for open discussion, nothing more.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just read that last bit George and I now realise why you named me at the start. Apologies for not reading the full post properly on this phone. Not sure intelligent is the right way to describe me. However, I appreciate the sentiment and I do take stock and will admit when I'm wrong. Could probably do with learning to listen better before commenting though as I invariably end up coming across like a bit of a bell end ;0)

Agree0 Disagree0

Andhol bear your living on another planet if you seriously believe all that sh*te you've just posted about Celtic, mortgages, land ownership and them only breaking even after 2 years champions League money and 20 million in player sales in the last month and a half. I don't even know if calling you deluded covers it pal. I gather you just believe everything you read that's anti Celtic on the internet and sell it on as gospel. Listen if you want your post to have merit and make people pay attention leave out the jackanory Celtic patter as the rest of it is decent and will stand on its own.

No7 yes you are correct, I am deluded all is fine down parkhead that's why you's spent all that money you's made last year on champs league & the players you's sold on improving your squad this year, what did you's spend on players again about 10 mill & you's brought in how much, but if you think I am deluded take a look at your own clubs accounts for this year page 57 & 60 you's have 4 loans taken out against your stadium, your training ground, westhorn & land adjacent 2 celtic park which at this very moment questions are being asked about as this land was given 2 celtic by gasgow city council & your club used it 2 secure a loan from a bank oh thanks mr councillor the bank is the co-op bank which is in deep s*** btw google lain dey & celtic's debt, so if again you think I am deluded go & ask your board about it I am sure they will put you straight, either that go 2 your next home game against a diddy team cause your club needs your money
