What if! Newcastle get relegated? Would that be significant to us, how would Ashley react? Just thinking? Apologies Newcastle fans I'm just surmising, I love the team, support and all the passion, you deserve better!

Stuzo am sure the football league has diffrent rules from premiership with being involved in 2 clubs so ashley might have to act quickly if they got relegated so rangers paying back 5 million to me seems ashley wants to cut a deal otherwise he would get a low offer for shares if newcastle go down a think king has him by the balls to be honest as it stands.

The English championship do have different rules so he would have to sell shares in 1 or the other. If Newcastle go down, he could do the unthinkable and sell his shares in Newcastle.

Albertz, Ashley has been trying to sell n.c. u. for years, but is wanting his debt and his value of the club met by any would be buyer so is looking for a few hundred million thus the reason nobody will buy n.c.u, I think it's 3 hundred million he wants, no wonder there are no buyers.

Stuzo, I also have a soft spot for newcastle utd, they always have been my favourite english club and your correct the newcastle fans do deserve very much better, they're so loyal! I honestly hope to god that they don't go down, if only they would find away to free themselves from mike ashley.
he's NOT a football man and never has been, it's all take, take, take with him, the newcastle utd fans loyalty should never be taken for granted. I, as a rangers fan wish newcastle and their wonderful fans well, but not mike ashley who's hell bent on ruining two fantastic football clubs, glasgow rangers and newcastle utd!

With all due respect warbs15th if there's even a slight chance it would help us rid ourselves of Mike "person" Ashley, then I honestly hope to god Newcastle do go down. Great club, loyal fans or not mate.

Of course guys, my club will always come first so I do take your point but having said that, my gripe is with ashley and not newcastle united, who are a great club with, imo the greatest fans in England. if it undoubtedly did benefit glasgow rangers, then I'd want that just like you guys, only if it was guaranteed that we could get rid of ashley completely!
