What makes you think nobody is leaving, and we have been told things before by the club for it to be changed so why not on this occasion, remember bank not running Rangers the board are

Too the person who made the moonman comment of course youth players don't know they are managed by a youth coatch not walter and if you did know rangers like any fan then you would know walter would be the last person the rangers players want to see leave as the other person said you SHOULD give up on football and moonman seriously? what a lame insult

Has anyone actually stopped to think that rangers may have been leading everyone along by saying that they have no money and won't be signing anyone. think about this right see if they we had no money then would they have paid big loan fee for wiess? £4 million for jelavic and £1 million for beattie? rangers are going to bid between £1.5 million and £2 million for david goodwillie and will sign morgaro gomis and prince buaben on pre contracts. andy webster will go to united as part of the goodwillie deal. and scouts at craven cottage last night? if they were looking at baird i beleive he is a defender who can play right across the back line so don't know why someone was saying he could shore up the midfield.

Yes that's right walter and the rangers board got together and said know what why don't we lie to our supporters about us having money, and make them angry, yes that's a great idea. Are you Metally Retarded? Or just plain stupid? Of course we have no money we were given 5 million to spend in the summer because we lost some of our players and we had to replace them, that's why the bank gave us money.Which puts us 5 million more pounds into debt to the bank.And the bank have decided they don't want to give us more money because they want the debt wiped off. So don't act so tupid and actually think about what your writing. and had you been paying attention for the last 2 years you would know that. I Mean were we going to get this money you are talking about? from some magic leprechaun at the end of a rainbow we have been following.

The message about Barry ferguson, yes we cud be doing with him back as the middle of the park on paper, infact on the park as well is not good at the moment, we need a good midfielder badly at the mo!

But the comment about lacing his boots, I think is harsh dude he's good but we still have good midfielders who are missing due to injury.

Ed there is no doubt that its a very grey area with no real boundaries hence why there is such talkin points and such. I was only giving an opinion from my point of view and those of the majority of gers fans and agree with your point to an extent but then again it was uefa that told us that its certain parts of songs that we can't sing not the same some song reworded which in an effect we did in this case. anyway this is heading into a debate that can never be resolved! the main reason that i posted was beacuse the post that i replied to was clearly not from a gers fan. but cheers for the disraction from this office dross regardless! !

GTID {ed's note - no worries, was just trying to give a neutral viewpoint on it, it is a very grey area though. If the bitterness between the two sets of fans could be resolved then it could be seen as banter, but while that bitterness exists I don't think it will ever be seen as that.}

GTID {ed's note - I am sorry but you would be the first to complain about Celtic fans signing a song about the Ibrox disaster, even if they just sung a chorus that wasn't really offensive. Quite rightly you would be incensed because you would know what it was about and why they are singing it.}

Re: (now before i start i understand that when it comes to songs the gers fans aint innocent! )I can see where ur coming from ed but this is slightly different all the gers fans sing is for them to go home literally all we sing is "go home, why don't you go home, the famine's over why don't you go home" it doesn't glorify any deaths. It has been sung as a mockery to celtic fans cos we say they are all from ireland rather than scotland. I can promise you that the vast majority havent even heard the full version (pre edited version) let alone sung it. And I can account for EVERY gers fan to my knowledge that i know sings it as a mockery to celtic fans claiming they are from ireland or have irish roots.

GTID {ed's note - I understand that, but that doesn't mean it is not offensive to Celtic fans who do know the full song. In a different atmosphere from the sheer hatred of Old Firm matches, it would be different. But, unfortunately, there is not a different atmosphere.}

I am thinking of not going back to ibrox i am so sick of hearing my fellow so called rangers fans singing the famine song my famiy and thousands of other rangers fans families fled the famine and i for one find the song offensive

Re: well I can tell u as someone that goes to just about evry game home and away that i have honestly only heard the full and proper version of the song sung twice in the last 3 years. All that is sung is the chorus of the song and it really aint that offensive. If you were a gers fan u would know this.

GTID {ed's note - I am sorry but you would be the first to complain about Celtic fans signing a song about the Ibrox disaster, even if they just sung a chorus that wasn't really offensive. Quite rightly you would be incensed because you would know what it was about and why they are singing it.}

Rangers Football Club have been granted planning permission by the city council for a £120m casino and hotel complex beside their Ibrox ground in Glasgow
Rangers have entered into a partnership with Las Vegas Sands Inc. whose president is none other than William Weidner
At the centre of the development is a 168,000 sq ft leisure and entertainment complex on land beside Ibrox and the nearby Albion car park

Cant wait for this to happen

1] we have no money to spend
2] players will be leaving during transfer window
3] the take over is off
4] the tax man at door
5] waler leaving end off season
6] mr mccoist will be new manager [ 1st job ]

Absolute rubbish- if you believe what has been said by Walter then yes we will be signing no one, but no one will be sold. If the takeover was off the media would report it. I know some people don't understand this but a takeover of a football club takes time, as people have said at the moment no news is good news. Yes Walter is leaving at the end of the year and we assumer McCoist will take over but new owners may have a different view on this.

Both Rangers and Celtic to join the English Prem within 5 years.

{editor: Never going to happen}

This is Never NEVER going to happen Turkeys don't vote For Xmas and The Lesser team in the Epl that don't have Europe every season would never want 1 team with the stadium, fan base, and potential sponsorship pull of the old firm, nevermind 2.

As for fans travelling to game from London the do that anyway. {ed's note - more importantly FIFA and UEFA would use it as an excuse to do away with the Scottish national side. You would need to complete devolution before it will be possible. While you are a part of the UK your status as a footballing nation is precarious as UEFA want to create one UK team.}
