never mind the old school stuff, right now we need someone who WILL do us a turn and WILL accept a director of Football
If Warburton and Weir want too much cash and don't fanct the DOF above them then the only answer is McLeish along with Rae, sorry for McCall but he must have known it was only temporary
Whatever the plan, they need to be in place by Monday latest!!

The EBT LOANS should be handed back & that would inject Millions into rangers. Why has not one so called rangers men repaid there LOANS??

Mark Wotte has been mentioned again- I think he would be a VG technical director
- great pedigree and experience. Perhaps with McCall as head coach?
I would personally prefer them to Warburton or mcLeish.

Hi All

First time poster but long time Rangers Fan and site visitor. I felt I had to post because of all the silly stuff being posted.

The season ended on Sunday yet we have people bemoaning our Board for not appointing a new Manager yet, they really are dragging their heels, aren't they, its been all of five days.

Similarly all the posts stating that the Board are some sort of shysters who are stringing us along and won't invest. Again its been five days and the moans about different amounts, well that's obvious, we had to see what League we were in. We did after all pay players Scottish Premiership wages in the third division and that did not work.

The EGM will be delaying things and its a bit of sour grapes by MASH actually calling a pointless Meeting. The Board though have to deal with it. All the calls for immediate payment by folk on here is mental, its not due payment for 5 years, its a legal contract just like the others Sports Direct have. People bleat about getting the extra 26% of Rangers Retail back, well wait and see what it equates to next Friday. I expect that our retail wing that Mr Green so kindly gifted Sports Direct 49% of for free has actually cost the Club money, so 51% of it or 25% makes no difference.

Retail is potentially one of our best sources of income but only if its set up for our benefit, not to benefit another company. In the days of online shopping, who actually needs retail stores or partners? All SD has done is shut Rangers Shops who competed with them. Why don't we make our own and sell them in our superstore and online? i'm sure we would make at least £25 a top instead of £3 a top with SD even with a 51% stake.

Lastly in regards to incoming investment from Mr King and others, how much was dependant on promotion and again its only 5 days since we found out. To hear you all slag a man and say hurry up n give us your money, why haven't you gave us million already? ect is pitiful, you are like spoiled children at Christmas. Did you not learn anything from our last sugar daddy? That worked out fantastic, didn't it? Why shout for more of the same? It will be different and structured this time and I am glad it will be, what did you expect DK to get out a taxi on Monday dragging a couple of big sacks of money up the marble staircase?

As for all the concerned Celtic fans who come on and slag our Board, if they are as bad as you say isn't that what you want? Why do you all devote so much time to Rangers and their well being?

Finally the Rangers fans who agree with them and gleefully join in on their side in a debate on OUR Board with fellow Bears, well you are 10 times worse than them, they at least have a reason to decry and hate all thing Rangers.

You might be a new poster, but this is the same old crap from the head-in-the-sand brigade, accusing anyone with legit criticism of the board of being timmy. Stroll on.

King has been promising to invest since before the EGM - which was now over 3 months ago. Where was his NOMAD? Where was the ISDX? Where is the investment he promised. the £30m, I mean £15m I mean we'll have to see. We've been ticking over on the drip-feed of the 3B since then, with no input from him. The whole charade about waiting for the 'fit and proper' before investment was a lie when he said it, contradicting what he said earlier about investing without it, and even the FAP test was a month ago now. Where's the money, Mr King?

Mark my words, the only investment Rangers will see will be from the hard-pushed fans. Again. Forget King, he's nothing but a serial BSer and it's fans like you who humble themselves and doff their caps at the sight of a blazer who are taking us down the pan. Again.

Now Now Children was I right to criticize Whyte? Was I right to criticize Green? Was I right to criticize Wallace? Was I right to criticize the Easdales? Was I right to criticize Ashley? Is it only this time that I'm wrong? Wow what are the chances? I'm looking forward to your answer.

OP You should get a job in PR as you are good at spinning positives and ignoring any inconvenient truths. Should send in a CV to Jim Traynor.

BTW, any word on ISDX who were so keen to take us on?

now now children king promised 30 million of investment before egm there was no mention of facing this out so is it a coincidence we hear this after wee vote him in and this was not depending on what league we where in so the investment should still come he said we would sign premier quality players don't no what that means cause our squad is full of them already if he means the higher quality premier players then your going half to fork out near a million for like of erwin watkins allan naismith just some of players mentioned so we will need the chunk of that money now to rebuild as king already stated previously we would need more invested right away
knowing we did not have a permanent manager in place our board should have well in truly had this sorted by now so don't give us all that rubbish that they need more time they will get more time but untill this board prove they are the real deal people can criticise them because they have done nothing while our opponents are already signing players I didn't trust white I didn't trust green or ashley and al the rest of the lot that came threw the door and un till king came back in then in started going to the games again
this board have everything to prove and appointing warburton would be a smart first move for our 2 main directors to be out the country at same time is ludicrous

There was never going to be an anouncement on investment until the season ticket renewals come out, which is the optimum time. We need to sell as a many as possible and will sell lots more on the back of an investment anouncement. Gaz there have been plenty posters who also critisized Whyte, Green, Ashley and the Easdales, are you looking for a pat on the back? You are wrong on Wallace, he and Norman Creighton were removed from the Board for going against Ashley and the Easdales regarding outside investment. Expat have you ever posted anything positive about Rangers on here? I can see why Gaz loves the doom and gloom he's a Celtic fan, but the rest of you, if you call yourself supporters, let's see some support.

Mark my words children you won't have long to wait now, see if I'm right about the season tickets then feel stupid about all the bile you have posted.

Craigs. can I ask why you think king won't do as he said he would? What does it matter where he is.

Agree1 Disagree0

06 Jun 2015 00:31:56
now now children a think we all no the board have to tell us about finance they are going to raise at season ticket renewal but will it be all on the fans again to raise it or do the board have they backers and the funds they promised I do not mind shelling out to help my club but board must stick to there promises if they don't have the cash just come out and say am sure the fans would come to the rescue again we need transparency from the board they promised they would do this with the fans

jack1 cause all the stuff that is happing or shouldn't I say lack of it and king changing his mind in certain interviews like saying it wouldn't matter what leauge we are the same would be getting invested then changing his mind in another interview just give the fans what they promised and we will have no problems he is the chairman he decideds who we sign who we get as manager how much we spend what the new plan is loads of work to be done in Scotland in my opinion he should be hands on with the business for I next 2 months our opponents are already signing players so are ahead of once again

Craig's I never mentioned figures but I remember Mr King stating that he will invest 50% with others 50%. The point I made was the timing. Mr Kings financial plan and any investment was always going to be announced at the season ticket launch to boost the number of sales. The Board would be mad not to do that so all the silly tell us now, we demand to know now and give us millions now posts were pathetic, some fans acting like expectant spoiled brats. These were followed by paranoia posts oh maybe they have no money ect which was gladly pounced on by our resident Tims and there doom and gloom gets fans supporting cast.

These posts have been going on since the Board took over despite the fact that the transfer window did not open until monday , its now the time for the Board to reveal their plans. All the mad guessers stating thus that and the next thing will gloat or disappear depending which horse in the two runner race they championed. The sad bit is if the Board do come up with the goods and a solid plan which becomes successful, will all the snide posters who doubted them or the ones who have shown hatred of Mr King sit in the stands or sit in their exiled homes and enjoy the fruits of the Boards labours? Or will they stick to their principles an stop supporting Rangers? Personally I hope its the latter, we have enough detractors and back stabbers to deal with in most other clubs in Scotland, we do not need it from within

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Jun 2015 08:21:46
Craig'smost of your last post is why we have a lack of info from the Board every time they say anything you lot scrutinise it to the letter, the answer to that is ddon't comment.

Remember Mr King was goaded into making statements by the press even before he got a look at the books to see what'srequired, so maybe he was a bit over enthusiastic or excited. The man is very private and ccan'tllike all that crap so shoot him.

On the latest Rangers buzz phrase transparency what do you want? Should the Board release weekly statements to keep you all in the loop? They have a job to do and my guess is the first few months have been dominated by finding out exactly the damage done to our Club and whether it was done legally. They have other stuff to do, mountains of it so llet'sjudge them at the right time which is after we hear their plans for the Club, to do so before is silly.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Jun 2015 10:44:49
i am not impressed with david king murray ect
where is the transparency the business plan the finance that they promised the fans they have been in for months now and still we are no further forward at the very least they should have had a manger lined up and signing targets we are going to be left trailing behind once again all other team talking about signing players and we haven't even got a manager this is becoming a joke they seem more interested in this agm wouldn't be surprised if we do not hear anything till after this about a new manager if we have a poor season again do not blame the manager blame the board due to there slow movement other teams are a head of us once again

Difference between ashley and king. Mr Ashley has put his money where his mouth is. Why is king not. Thought he was a billionaire to. 5million would be nothing to him then to cut ure ties.

Believable4 Unbelievable8

05 Jun 2015 10:27:34
as usual - just a wee bit economical with he facts - Ashley put money (in loans!) for every asset Rangers had, and left us with nothing to build on except take more loans from him.
Wonder what would happen if the loans were all called in over in the East End??

Can't remember Dave King, or any other media sources , saying he is a billionaire. And then you further ridicule your statement by typing 'Ashley has put his money where his mouth is'. You obviously just woke up and fancied making a tit out yourself before catching the school bus. Don't fall asleep in class.

King either hasn't a bean,or he's found more than he bargained for when he got a look at the books. The rumours of bad blood between King and Park refuse to go away either.
Hope I'm wrong though.Not a doom monger either,just a realist.

Agree4 Disagree2

05 Jun 2015 11:11:18
Do you honestly think that King is going to make it public, how much cash he is putting in prior to buying a new squad. The whole footballing world would know how much we had to spend and transfer fees would increase. Get real!

Agree3 Disagree7

05 Jun 2015 12:47:58
There won't be any transfer fees. We'll be bringing in loans and free agents, the dross of the free agents, unless we get things moving.I was expecting an announcement on the manager front today, still early yet though.

Agree5 Disagree1

05 Jun 2015 12:54:14
Well bil72 not much chance of that as we don't have a history of defaulting on them . The money (1.5 million each I believe) give to you by the other board members and dk , weren't they loans as well?

Agree6 Disagree1

05 Jun 2015 15:10:10
It's not about the 5 million, if king gives him it back, he still owns the naming rights and God knows what else!

Agree0 Disagree4

05 Jun 2015 17:42:59
But why is king giving a 1.5 million loan to u. Yes a loan. Not giving you it. Loaning you it. Now if you lot on here had millions I'm sure you would just give them it wouldn't you. I would to my club. So alarm bells all round. He ain't got the clout. Full of empty promises. He says something then disappears to south Africa.

Looking for help with this question guys, having a discussion at work on gardening leave, we all know McCoists on it is McDowell still on it and is Big Terry Butcher still getting paid by Hibs I say all three are, but there is disagreement Help!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

05 Jun 2015 11:13:12
They are all still getting paid until their contracts are up at the end of July. Being put on gardening leave is that company requesting that you leave your duties, however you will receive full payment of your contract until its termination. This usually happens with companies that do not have the money to pay you off in full at that time through severence.

I live in Australia, and Rangers should do themselves a favour, and have a look at some of the young talent playing in the A-League. There are some genuine young stars just looking for an opportunity who are very fast, attack minded, and rock hard fit. Something we have lacked in recent seasons. Also, money is no problem, as they are not paid massive $$$. Some of the top clubs have great young players - better than the rubbish that we have.

Believable4 Unbelievable4

05 Jun 2015 07:33:05
Would we not struggle for work permits if they are not internationals? And the internationals would cost top much

Their are many good players out their young and old but without a scouting system which should have been addressed straight away, were not going to find them!

Is it just me or do you get that feeling that rangers are leaving things a bit late again and everything will pass us by and we will be scrambling again at the last minute looking for managers/players and we will end up with the scraps that everyone leaves behind and ending up in the same mess as before .
