Would fellow bears be happy with this team going out next season?
A. McGregor
A. Hutton C. Goldson K. Bartley D. John
J. Rossiter
05 Jun 2018 20:37:00
Think we'd get relegated tbh.
With no midfield and no strikers we'd get humped every week! š
05 Jun 2018 20:39:49
No, itās only 6 players, massive disadvantage
05 Jun 2018 20:43:43
I donāt think Bartley is good enough
05 Jun 2018 22:14:08
Do the fuels not state we need to start a game with seven player's minimum?
05 Jun 2018 22:16:49
Good start but 5 still to come out the tunnel
05 Jun 2018 22:59:02
If we sign Bartley I'd prefer him at right back.
05 Jun 2018 23:34:19
I agree I think rossiter is amazing but I really don't think he could hold the whole midfield and attack positions. asking a bit much of the boy to be honest Kaz
06 Jun 2018 10:21:35
McGregor
Hutton Goldson Bartley John
Rossiter Jack
Candieas Arfield Murphy

Hutton on a free got to be worth a try him at right back tav further forward as another option and we would also then have excellent cover at right back?
05 Jun 2018 12:27:26
Wages would be an issue and I think Tav would be a stick on for no2 jersey if he isnāt sold for a decent price.
05 Jun 2018 12:42:39
Id take hutton back defo
05 Jun 2018 13:47:01
No to Hutton I really do not get why so many want him back, he is past it and not what we need right now.
05 Jun 2018 13:50:01
Priority should be for two centre backs and a midfield enforcer although we certainly need cover for both full back positions. That said, with better players alongside him I suspect that Tav will be an even better player.
05 Jun 2018 13:53:40
Hutton was one of villas best players last season. He played mostly at lb. Same age as Scot Brown.
McGregor
Tavernier goldson Terry Hutton
That would be some defensive upgrade
05 Jun 2018 14:23:11
hutton all day long was one of villa top performers this season, wise football brain on him, would be an asset, and push tavernier
05 Jun 2018 16:54:04
If we had to buy him I'd be against it too but he's free at the end of this month, ok signing on fee, much better than anything we have in defence.
05 Jun 2018 19:19:29
I would take the white Cafu back in a minute
Puts the boot in regular too.
Sinclair wouldn't fancy it
06 Jun 2018 10:03:14
We need an upgrade in squad depth as well as just the starting 11. We only have one right back in Tav. Hodson needs to go as he's not good enough
05 Jun 2018 11:27:45
I see Hutton is in limbo over his contract, expires at the end of this month, with Villa cancelling contract talks. Great player before we sold him to Spurs Surely worth a phone call. I know he's around 33 but playing well still.
05 Jun 2018 14:57:23
I personally believe if not Hutton we certainly need two fullbacks that can defend, as we have two who can attack but are in essence hopeless defenders and it doesn't matter how good our new centre backs are if we are defensively weak on the flanks we will leak goals against stronger opposition.
05 Jun 2018 20:34:15
If our dcm does his job and covers when a full back goes forward then i'd prefer attacking full backs
05 Jun 2018 08:20:39
everton fan here, see you lads linked with one of our youth team players alex denney, top player, i think gerrard should use his merseyside connections and take a few younger players from liverpool and everton who could improve your team, i see a few lon here looking at wilson from liverpool i think he would be brilliant for yous.
also i think the young jock who plays for us fraser hornby would be an excellent signing on loan for you guys he's big and powerful and creative
05 Jun 2018 09:12:45
Johny donāt you realise that a high percentage of our fan base has coached at the highest level in Europe and are already questioning Steve Gers signing possibilities. šI mean Everton would really struggle to finish top 6 in our league so why would we take a player from your clubš¬
I of course jest but like you say the boy Denny is reported to be a gem. If SG thinks this lad can be a player for us then I think Iāll trust him. There must be a tonne of young players down south waisting away so if we could either buy or get some up on loan then thatāll do for me!
05 Jun 2018 09:28:34
Saw hornby at the toulon tournament he just looks like a big cart horse I've seen milk turn quicker
05 Jun 2018 11:09:17
i watch our u23s a lot mate an hornby is no cart horse he's a big lad yes but he's no t just a battering ram he's actually better with his feet than his head, that's not to say the boy cnt score with his head.
i personally hate gerrard but if he can develop a few of our youngsters up there then i see it as beneficial to both clubs
05 Jun 2018 08:14:43
I have watched the young lad Ejaria online and although there's no doubt he has ability, i just feel he could be caught in possession quite a bit.

Not a Rangers issue, but how would you feel if McCoist got the St Mirren post.
05 Jun 2018 05:28:22
Good luck to him, at least he will know what he is taking on this time round
05 Jun 2018 07:31:42
Surely St Mirren can get better than him. Awful manager who is a massive step down from Jack Ross
05 Jun 2018 10:35:25
Good luck to him. He done well with us until admin got true pace too it. Every single player that played for us in the lower leagues done it simply for the Ā£Ā£Ā£s, so why would they trying hard for us?
05 Jun 2018 10:38:33
'Surely St Mirren can get better than him'.
Wow, Coisty is a legend, regardless of how pear shaped it went, people forget who he had above him during his time in the lower leagues.
I'd certainly wish him well in any job and I wouldn't be talking as if a club like St Mirren is above him.
05 Jun 2018 11:15:55
If St Mirren were stupid enough to give him the job - and they're not, then I think they would end up where they were when Jack Ross took them over.
05 Jun 2018 12:31:11
I think that will happen regardless of who takes over as st Mirren wonāt fling money at and will be favourites to go straight back down. Ross had them punching last year.
05 Jun 2018 13:54:33
young and up and coming manager. Only reason I can see that they would go for McCoist is PR and the odd Rangers fan that might help fill their ground when we have an away game.
05 Jun 2018 14:43:30
SUPERALLY FOREVER

Are you saying he was a legend as Manager? Also HE endorsed these people and he had ridiculously bigger budgets than the clubs in the 2nd and 3rd division yet he still couldnāt win the Petrofac cup. The football played under him was dreadful and most of his signings were woeful. Still if your happy with that then fine
05 Jun 2018 19:16:15
Arthur.
No, Iām saying heās a legend full stop.
I agree he was a disaster as a manager. I find it quite telling that because he was a failure as a manager you have clearly turned on him, one of your own and somebody whoās done more for our football club than most alive today.
Also, i'm stunned you seem to think everything that Ally managed through during the financial collapse and the lower leagues was so black and white?
āIf Iām happy with that Iām fineā - well itās in the past, you going to hold a grudge against the clubs best ever striker because he was a buff manager during the clubs darkest days? Again, telling.
05 Jun 2018 20:25:41
Guff*
05 Jun 2018 20:47:11
I hope he takes on a role like that and proves some people wrong. We were pretty far ahead at the top of the league when the club imploded and super ally was left as the only recognizable rangers man at the club. Legend forever. Leave the bitterness to others. We are the Rangers
05 Jun 2018 21:00:52
Spot on Pappy.
05 Jun 2018 23:55:43
Pappy
No we were not when it all went pear shaped Celtic were top of the league so thatās false.

As for turning on him Iām just giving you the facts. Please feel free to challenge me on anything I said about his team, the signings, his style of play or the fact he couldnāt win the petrofac cup
04 Jun 2018 21:55:10
I think out of ejaria, solanke and Wilson the three from Liverpool are very good talent but out of the them I would definitely go for Harry Wilson. This boy looks some talent and would rip apart defences up here. Gerrard are you listening? Blue drama wants Wilson.
