i wish people would be realisitic, we are skint, and quite rightly we should be if we want a decent rep as a business in the future. small steps and we will be back.

always hate phoneix businesses and I don't want to be known as a club who reopnes with no debt and flaunts spending cash in the faces of people we let down.

invest in youth and use JJ's network and we will do just fine

Fair enough we may not have X millions to spend but surely there must be an huge attraction for younger players at top top teams to come to Ibrox as they would have an excellent chance to play in our first team! Why do we not try and bring up and coming players not only from Man Utd City Chelsea but Barcelona R. Madrid AND if Caixinha could try Sporting Lisbon who have an excellent history producing Youth. Thoughts Bears?

Gman, I would also love to see Kyle Bartley return to Rangers. I've been really impressed with him this season. I've read that some fans would welcome back Neysmith. Remember Rangers nursed him back to full fitness twice after serious injuries then he couldn't wait to jump ship. So for those reasons I don't think he deserves to play for us again.

You would need to be stupid not to want Naismith. he's exactly the type we need. nows not the time to worry abt what he said. its all about stopping the mhankys doing the dreaded 10

I keep seeing people mention we need to bring in between 10 and 15 new players. Does anyone actually believe that will happen?

In my opinion we will manage to get rid of 5 or 6 players at most meaning we will bring in probably about the same.

Personally I think we have a few decent players at the club only they are short of confidence and fitness.

If we can bring in 1 or 2 good centre halves. A tough tackling midfielder and a play maker and proper goalscorer I think second will be comfortable next season.

We also have krancjar and Rossiter to come back, if both come back to full fitness there's 2 players who are better than anything we have at the moment. We also have Matt crooks who has done well at Scunthorpe to come back too.

A good pre season for the likes of windass, Tav, Holt, Waghorn etc who have struggled with fitness at times this season might see them up their game too.

Anyone disagree?

Gone are the days when teams had 6 weeks to get your team fit for august start. We could be playing European qualifiers 6 weeks after league finish!

I agree we won't be getting rid of 10+ players and bringing in same numbers as we just don't have the money to pay off their contracts and i can't see clubs lining up to buy kiernan halliday o'halloran etc

also agree fitness is poor and confidence rock bottom but as the old saying goes you can put in what god left out and fitness and confidence won't turn most of those guys into players; sorry lads ain't going to happen.

waggy needs to go he just doesn't have it - lots very decent chances missed week in week out at pittodrie hampden and at home etc he just isn't the striker we need and ohalloran halliday kiernan senderos garner hodson are in the same bracket - just not good enough if we want to challenge

3/ 4 solid defenders and cple combative midfielders hopefully added to a fit rossiter (who i do believe has it) along with a proven poacher will get us back on track

Now Pedro is at it. He os talking about 12 named players being given to the Board. Thst does not mean 12 coming in. Its a list. I agree with Stuart if Pedro can get rid of 6 then maybe 6 will come in. If Pedro can't get rid of 6 or more then oly 2 or 3 will come in. Rangers can't afford another 6 decent players on the wage bill so its all about replacing what is there. Personally I think King will give him very little but its season ticket renewall time so God knows what he has been promised. There are players coming back so it would be better to buy 3 or 4 decent players rather than 6 or 7 average players. So what happens if no players come in before Europa qualifying and Rangers don't go through.? Then expect no additions at all.

We need at least 10 new players that are miles better than what we have and we need to get rid of the dross that we have, so yes hopefully this does happen.

Kiernan, senderos, Forrester, hodson, waghorn and ohalloran will not be here next season.

Halliday, McKay, garner, dodoo, hill could go aswell.

The problem is that the ones that should be first out the door, like Halliday, will be the ones we can't get rid of! I am hoping that the players that have been out injured or have been out on loan will come in and do a job because other than Miller and possibly Hill and the goalie I wouldn't particularly want any of these players in the starting eleven!

I am hoping that we see hungry players coming in from South America and Portugal that have a bit of quality alongside two or three good young home based players that are of a significantly better quality than what we have.

I want a wee shot at this Fifa game everyone that picks a team gets accused of playing everytime they pick next seasons side, but I'll put a little realism in it and a little fantasy, and the line up goes as follows:
Gk: Fod.

LB: Wallace/ New guy
CB: Wilson/ New guy
CB: definitely New guy
RB: Tav/ Whittaker

HoldingMid: Dorrans/ Rossister
HoldingMid: Veloso

Front midfield 3:
Weiss, Naismith, McKay ( McKay only if in form or New guy.

Striker : New guy/ and miller used occasionally.

In a 4 -2-3-1 formation, the realistic bit quite a lot of my new guys are frees I:e veloso, Naismith, Whittaker and some we have already have, as I can't see absolutely everyone leaving. And just a feeling but I do have a wee sneaky feeling that Dorrans and Naismith will join. No source, No inside info: Remember I'm playing Fifa lol😂.

Fantasy bit: Vlad Weiss that would cost a wee bit- maybe even to much. And I don't know if Veloso would join as no association with us and could make mega bucks elsewhere but at he is a free tho!
Also there is I have put (New guys) in alternative posistions- this could be deemed a little fantasy as who knows who will be brought in, because that really depends on the transfer budget.
And I think we really need to top number 9 this year, too little goals. And that again would cost, although essential.

Okay that's my FIFA game over lol 😂.

Lafferty is a terrible player and Pedro will not touch him he wants players he knows and trust and has worked with before if he has not then they would haft to be of a high quality so why on earth would he suddenly say I want Kyle lafferty? Not going to happen and thank god

If we could get a few million for mcKay and Wallace I would sell them. Wallace is good going forward but can't defend. McKay lacks courage and commitment and you can't coach those traits into a player.
