Class cabaret across the city tonight brightened me up after Hivs and ebt's. Credit to Molde they were brilliant but celtic are one very poor side and we should not be worried in the slightest about meeting them next season. I think we should have a look at the Scandinavian scene. If this is the standard of the Norwegian league it shows that it is of a far better standard than ours if the sixth placed team can cut open our so called best team like a hot knife through butter. Simpering Sutton twisting the knife in the wee roarer as well as the players was great to hear. Did Blackett and Boyata have their boots on the wrong feet? Looked like it at times. Great to see.

Missed it myself but did get four to one on Molde. Fantastic odds.

05 Nov 2015 21:13:22
Well done Naz. Nice to hear you are profiting from their misgivings.

05 Nov 2015 22:09:55
Lol. The bar room lawyers will be scouring the uefa rule book to get them thrown out of the competition. Both goals were a hoot! After you. No please after you. Tbh they were jammy it didn't end up 6 or 7. And good to see the Eagle eyed officials didn't slip up at the offside 'goals'. Best officials I've seen for a long time. The ref got every decision spot on.

I got 5/1, what a Bet and Sutton was still his biased self, and get this, the guy who managed Lincoln city, for a few months was telling us how it should be! The man has no sense of irony, nor shame, No wonder Lincoln got shot, did he not bring the greatest fans down there for a friendly, and they ran amok, ala Motherwell, Dundee etc?
Tommy.

06 Nov 2015 12:33:23
that's right Tommy, they did! Hilarious! Brightened me up a lot I can tell you.

05 Nov 2015 20:11:10
Over the past couple days with all this rubbish being dug up again its been hard to stomatch. I will be the first too admit its heart breaking. In these times of trouble we can all take great comfort from our friends in the east. They are always on hand too help us all through this with a smile. So thank you Celtic. 2-1 Molde 😊.

20 year old Man City midfielder George Glendon now training with Rangers.

05 Nov 2015 20:12:12
Captains the u21 side and is he a defensive midfielder?

05 Nov 2015 13:12:32
Love the hypocrisy of this and other vomitting over the media and blog-sphere

Can someone explain to me how Rangers can be a NewCo and ALSO be responsible for OldCo actions?
Surely even the most ardent Rangers-haters have to choose one or the other.

05 Nov 2015 15:47:49
We could or even should have taken at least a point against the hibs. This only highlights the need for a goal scorer, M.W. obviously.
i personally do not rate Wilson as a C.B and in my opinion only ball of the loanees should be kept after January. the problem is where is the cash to bolster the squad going to come from.

05 Nov 2015 09:29:05
hate to say it but Hibs are in the Zone right now. We cannot slip up against any other teams, we need that 5 point gap.

and when January comes we best be making some quality signings because a really do think that hibs will take us to the wire for the championship.

it is going to be tighter than we anticipated, even worse if we don't sort out the strikers.

05 Nov 2015 09:59:58
Hibs are obviously playing well at the moment and were always going to be our main Championship rivals. They are away to St Mirren next so let's see if they come through that game. We have a run of six league games now which I expect us to win then we play Hibs at Ibrox on 28th December. Let's see what the points difference is by then. I never for a moment expected us to win the league by 25 points or so. 1 point would do to get us back in the SPL.

05 Nov 2015 12:03:48
Am glad that you are being realistic also Doiger. Come that game in Dec with Hibs, we will know how much to spend and how many players needed, but a really think we must bring in 3 or 4 new faces or Hibs could steal it from us.

Hibs beating Dundee utd is a big statement, I would be over the moon if we could have beat them so it says alto for hibs and to stubbs for his management skills.

If we can win right up till the end of year then I think we will be safe but anything other than that we are asking for trouble.

05 Nov 2015 13:11:34
I still think we will win this league by a distance come the end of the year, even without reinforcements. Hibs have improved but were lucky against us.
Would still like to see a striker and CDM brought in to take the pressure off a bit though.
And I think it's time to go with McKay Hardie Waghorn for a few games, with Waghorn moving back into the centre later on in games and Oduwa replacing Hardie. Think that would cause teams more problems.

05 Nov 2015 14:30:30
Relax, DK has investors waiting to move, in the top league, remember there is a lot of money to be made in Europe, 2 good signings in Jan, then a march back to the prem,
Tommy.

05 Nov 2015 16:18:49
I must be missing something here because we were the better team v hibs and should have won so everyone needs to calm down a wee bit. Also I see a man city kid is training with us at Murray park so good to see the club carrying on as normal after the last few days of off field activity wae fat Mike n co.

05 Nov 2015 18:57:16
Hibs are on a good run just now, the victory over Dundee utd shows this. However they still needed luck to beat us and I think you will find that we will still top the league. They are on a run. This will end. We have had a winning mentality installed that will last the season and this is where I feel the difference will show. Hibs form will dip as it has risen and they will fall at points. Our drive can see us win almost all games in this league
We do not need a major overhaul to win this league. Two in january would do. Then another 2-3 in summer for the big league.

06 Nov 2015 10:14:43
Hibs have won 12 out of 11 also, bluegenius, that includes beating us, Aberdeen and Dundee utd, so I would not be so sure that there form will dip.

the best team we have beaten is Hibs and then we got done by the Super Jays and then Hibs so I know we have been playing well but we have not really beaten anyone of note tbh!

I really do think January will tell all, if we do not bring in the right players it could hurt us. Hibs have a strong squad of boys who have played in Scotland and they all know the drill so we must be careful and not get to carried away.

06 Nov 2015 13:13:30
M3lvo I'm not being arrogant and you are right we haven't beat anyone of note but there is little of note that we will come up against over the teams we have played already. In the past 6 games we have been off the boil but winning mostly. I just don't see Hibs doing that.
do hibs have the Squad/mentality/guts to push through a hard spell? who knows, unlikely I say. We have shown it recently. Come the end of the season I think this will show.
Going nuts in January bringing in 4-5 players would be an error imo. A holding midfielder and a forward if the right guys are available.
Then we are going to need more in Summer.
Looking forward to watching us develop.

A number of supporters were looking how to protest against MA or what to buy the kids for Christmas?

I wonder if the Rangers Trust (? or whatever body) continue to sell the alternate Rangers red stripe?

Like the story of the Roman Slave "Spartacus" the stripe could be printed with King on the back!

Following the Spartacus theme of "I'm Spartacus" when all the defeated slave army stood as one to take on his death sentence.

Figuratively the supporters can stand as one "I'm King"!

05 Nov 2015 12:24:17
My burd got me the Fernando ricksen top only 32 pound.

05 Nov 2015 23:49:51
R57 brill idea sir.

05 Nov 2015 05:50:47
So I'm going to totally ignore all of the finance related posts and throw some ideas out for players to potentially sign come January!

CB: James Tarkowski (brentford)
CB: Dominic Hyam (Reading/ ScotU21)
CDM: John Souttar (Dundee UTD)
CDM: Ryan Jack (Aberdeen)
CDM Toumani Diagouraga (brentford/ linked with before)
ST: Personally would like to see Hardie have a go. can't think of anyone I would want to sign who would actually improve the squad. Thoughts?

05 Nov 2015 08:40:11
We need a striker apart from Waghorn none of the strikers have done much. Miller is past it, Clarke not good enough and Hardie unproved at the moment. By all means give him a run but you can't expect him to come in and solve striking issue.

05 Nov 2015 13:56:13
Biffo
Do you not think Waghorn misses too many good chances?
His scoring is OK (ignoring the penalties) he misses 3 sitters against Hibs.

05 Nov 2015 18:10:50
Every great striker misses chances but the guy has got bags of ability. Starting to maybe agree about him playing out right as when he moves out there he goes past people for fun and at the end on Sunday you could see just how gutted he was. Barrie McKay never goes past people on the outside left.
