Do yous wounded bears think sallys played a blinder here with his shares from greene?as if he wasnt on the ebt list, he must have been royaly pi$$ed off that so many made millions,&he being superally never got nothing,so hes making sure hes got his nest egg, when all goes pear shaped????stevo..(mind its a banter page!)

Believable27 Unbelievable13

It is a banter page and you know that it is so why are you on it posting absolute drivel?
P.O.B.

Agree18 Disagree22

Lets be honest ally has enough money, he has stuck through the toughest time in our history, could of walked at any point he is a rangers man ....... people say he aint the best manager maybe not but i tell u what that diving header he scored against u lot will live with me forever and the way he has stuck with us.
craig+babybear

Agree7 Disagree7

P.O.B your right up for a fight son, chill out.......it's a banter page!

Soon as the mention of EBT's come up you go ape at everyone! It was David Murray and that dodgy Porn star that thought them up mate! Not Celtic

Scottish clubs, whether SPL or SFL, didn't kill your club Whyte and D&P did. Stop blaming the world for your own probs.

Be happy you've got a club to follow, in the same stadium with the same strips.

If Celtic fans wanna come on here for "the craic" banter wae them mate, don't bite their noses off.

You'll be back, unlike Third Lanark, Claydebank, Aidrieonians!

DazzaBhoy (Champs 2012-)

Agree15 Disagree3

Here dazza u.better believe we will be back to bite yous.in the arse

Agree6 Disagree12

I don't doubt Newco will challenge us in afew years time. But your friend POB needs a wee lie down like!

DazzaBHoy

Agree8 Disagree0

Lolol the only time newco will challenge celtic Is in the masters

Lenny

Agree4 Disagree2

Lenny lol how can we play you in masters were a new team we don't have any masters according to that assumption but I must admit I love a Celtic fan who contradicts himself

Does anyone know if we can still sign out of contract players or trialists like stoke have with owen outside of the window or would it be seen as a transfer and comes under the embargo?

Believable2 Unbelievable14

For the umpteenth time, the club can sign any player it likes but can't register them unless they're under 18.

Agree5 Disagree3

We cannot register anyone till end of embargo so no one over 19 till then

Agree2 Disagree4

We can sign players aged 18 and under even tho we have the embargo

Agree0 Disagree2

Why did they sign owen out side the window ?? could he not fit throu the door ??

Agree6 Disagree2

ED. I know we can't sign any new players but if we got one as a present for Christmas they would allow it?

Agree4 Disagree2

Something just popped into my head and I'm not sure if it would happen or not but.....if we are allowed to sign any player we want before the end of the transfer embargo, can we then submit the registration documents after the transfer window closes next year? You can obviously still register free agents after the deadline so could it happen? As I say it's just a thought that popped into my head!

Agree0 Disagree6

The transfer embargo ends August 31st 2012. Given that you can sign free agents any time, Rangers could sign a few free agents next year and register them on the 1st September.

Agree0 Disagree2

Well if Ranegrs want to pay the wages of a free agent for a few months despite not being able to play for them, then, yes.

if rangers win the 3 rd,then 2nd,then1st division, then big league. 4 years on the trotsky.I wonder if the top 4leagues have been won in a row, in uk or abroad by anyone. Ii think wimbledon may have won 3,or at least got promoted 3 times. not the top league though. anyone know?

Believable3 Unbelievable14

If they don't win 3rd, 2nd and 1st, it'll be an embarrassment. With the amount of money spent on the squad it'll be an expectation to win them and not much to gloat about, given the alternative.

Agree11 Disagree4

This was posted last night also by an untagged poster.
Are you trying again since nobody bit?
P.O.B.

Agree2 Disagree9

Nobody has done it and nobody is going to do it.even though your embargo was suspended because you were crying you never had a team to compete against part timers.so you will never go a full season without being allowed to buy players.always feeling the victim but have everyone bending over backwards .

Agree12 Disagree8

Nobody bit......cause no-one cares if you win three successive leagues.....with the squad you have you should be winning the 1st 2nd and 3rd!

DazzaBhoy

Agree12 Disagree5

@3. Celtic fans accusing us of being victims......you're having a laugh surely.

Agree3 Disagree5

@4
yea just as you should be top of the SPL after all your Manager reckons you can compete with Barca the Difference in class between the Celtic squad and the rest of the Spl dross is about the same as the Rangers squad and the rest of the Sfl 3

Lochaber Bear

Agree1 Disagree6

Eye test for Dazza, the OP clearly stated four titles in a row...not three.

Agree0 Disagree3

7) I dont need an eyetest son, you aint winning the SPL when you first come up,,,,,of that i'm 125% positive

DazzaBhoy

Agree6 Disagree1

@8. How do you know we won't win then? No doubt your chairman (A.K.A - Head of the SFA)will make sure of that.

Agree2 Disagree3

By the time you are, finally back in the SPl (unless your going to boycott the SPL altogrhter) Celtic will have had the opportunity to compete inthree/four successive Champions League campaigns......that means we could bring in £25m a year. Our younger players will be more experienced and we'll be able, with the help of John Park) to unearth new gems.

Go to any bookies and ask them if Newco will win the 3rd, then 2nd, then 1st, then SPL and tell me what odds he gives you! Bet he just laughs at you!

DazzaBhoy

Agree3 Disagree0

Dazzabhoy he's a bookie and a professional he will do the figures give you a price then take your money. The only people who laugh are ignorant Celtic fans just because you don't want it to happen it doesn't mean it won't. Yes you are right Celtic will have made money from the cl but this money will only be used to keep debt down and pay your massive wage bill not to buy super players you are now a selling club end of. Now I know you will laugh at this cause your ignorant rangers will only bring in free signings or players up to a value of a mill till we get back to the spl then cg says there will be a war chest of 30/40 mil to build a team capable of winning the spl

Agree1 Disagree4

Great post. i think we have every chance. we have signed not bad players even in the 3rd division in a couple of years back im spl, we will have more and better. i agree we will win spl in four years, if only through hate of all the other clubs, for puting the boot in. in 5 years we will be flying in champs league.minimum quarter finals

Agree1 Disagree3

Looked this up on google. and didnt get a definative. as far as i can see tho, mo one has worked there way through 4leagues, winning all including premier. so i think as usual we will be setting a new world record when it happens. we will be back bigger and better

Agree1 Disagree2

11) I appreciate how a bookies run young man. How exactly are we ignorant? My brain tells me that when you have been promoted to the SPL Celtic will have five or six new players brought through by John Park. The players we have now may be gone (for way more than purchased). In selling Ki we have got rid of most of our debt, which is underwritten by Desmont anyway! Your mob only got rid of your debt by liquidating RFC!

Where is this warchest coming from? Tell me one man prepared to put SERIOUS money into Scottish Football these days? Anyone?

Desmont Dermond has 1.35billion yet won't throw money at Celtic as it aint worth it for what you get back......and David Murray attempted it and killed RFC!

DazzaBhoy (Champions 2012-)

Agree2 Disagree1

Wait a minute here, just noticed i missed this epic post! Wait for it "5 years we will be flying in champs league.minimum quarter finals"!

Lets take a minute to think about that, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man United, Man City, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Bayern Munich must be shacking in their boots......Newco rangers are coming in 5 years! Will Real, Barce, Inter be able to cope!

Your needing to give up the glue sniffing, alcohol or class A drugs!

I think the Scotland vs Serbia game proves rangers fans did follow Scotland, tickets on sale this game would normally be a sellout.

Believable7 Unbelievable9

I can't help but laugh at the standard if player that is getting in the Scotland squad. Ricky Foster in for LB, he was an atrocious player when forced into LB, nothing special at RB either. Paul Dixon seriously? And Gary MacKenzie really?

hope scotland lose all their games thats the only way to get rid of 2 face levein the mans a loser

Believable24 Unbelievable24

C'mon lads stop this crap about us not supporting Scotland.I have supported the Gers and Scotland all my life and have seen many great Rangers players playing for their country and manage and captain them as well. As I have stated before it not the SPL or SFA that put us where we are but SDM and whyte

Agree18 Disagree11

It's not crap.... its up to the individual to decide, and i hope Scotland get well pumped in every game.

Agree3 Disagree4

I am rangers supporter will support scotland but think levein is useless

Agree4 Disagree1

@1. But it WAS the SPL/SFA who put the boot in. I've never been one before not to support my country, but now i couldn't care less. I will not purchase a ticket or financially benefit the SFA in any way.

i come on here now and again just to see the drivel that is posted 95 percent of the time. i do not support either of the old firm clubs. some people on here are bitter and twisted on both sides of the divide, of that there is no question. what really amazes me as an outsider looking in is the hate driven obsession with all things rangers from celtic fans. cant support their own team for worrying about rangers. and i think that hits the nail on the head, they ARE worried because they know that in a few years time rangers will come back bigger and stronger than ever. it will be the biggest comeback since lazarus and they know it. a few years away yet and already they are worried. its pathetic the way they turn their energy into hating all things rangers. no wonder society is in such a bad way.
big fella inverness.

Believable24 Unbelievable23

Hmmm, not an Old Firm fan? Did you happen to check the Celtic pages last Autumn when Rangers were way out in front? You do realise it's not obsession, just banter, winding up of rivals and having a laugh? You've fallen into the lazy 'obsession-labelling' trap, while at the same time coming across as a bit of a brown-noser.

Agree16 Disagree10

We could see right through your fake name to the true nature that is a bitter rangers man

Agree18 Disagree9

Put your post alongside the 95% of posts you speak of! Where does this myth come from that the newco will come back stronger? You say you are neither a Celtic fan or newco, fan but come on to newcos page to slate Celtic fans for slating newco fans!......mmmmm very sad trying to make it look as if you have support from other fans, when we all know other clubs fans don't like you.

Must say, as a season ticket holding rangers fan (and a member of the Tartan Army), I am really disappointed with all the anti National Team chat on here. I love the gers, but we were caught doing wrong and were therefor punished. It has absolutely nothing to do with the 11 men on the park in Scotland Jersey's. I think all these eejits rebelling against the national team need to take a look at themselves as it is really quite pathetic.

Believable31 Unbelievable35

This has nothing to do with being a Rangers fan. And all to do with the Scotland manager Craig Levein. Please see the post made earlier and you will see where all the bad feeling is coming from.

Agree7 Disagree18

Amazingly for some it's all the SPL/SFA's fault we are where we are. David Murray must be having a laugh at them.

Agree20 Disagree7

You all must be damned ashamed of yourselves.Okay you don't need to go.That's
your prerogrative, but don't run your national
team down wishing we get beat.
Whether you blame it on Levein or the SFA
you should grow up and stop behaving like
spoilt wee wains.

Agree15 Disagree11

I am not particularily against the football team ie the players. But sitting or standing beside other Scotland fans who voted against Rangers and threatened their own clubs just so that Rangers would be punished, and others who have taken great pleasure in what has happend, they can go and get stuffed.
My first World cup finals were the 1982 Spain and have followed Scotland on numerous occaisions.
This support Scotland caper is all about getting the local fans to Hampden to get along on the midweek games and to get thier money, nothing more.
Am sure if you add up the SPL fans and SFL fans Hampden will be full, even with some smeltic fans thrown in.
They don't want us, they don't need us.

Agree9 Disagree5

Rangers fans harped on about how the club and company where two separate things,so why are national side and the sfa deemed as one and the same?just a thought...werent rangers fc incorporated as the company?was club and company the same?

Agree6 Disagree4

We were caught doing wrong? Why the hell does this come up all the time - what have we done wrong as far as I knew we are innocent till proven otherwise - oh wait not in this part of the world!

Agree11 Disagree11

As a season ticket holder, as well, the problem lies within the SFA, Simple question----- Were the full[wing] back replacements recently brought into the Scotland squad better than Lee Wallace or was it another directive?

Agree7 Disagree5

I've never followed Scotland. My preference is club football, I do watch some international matches. I very rarely watch Scotland matches though. I have no interest whatsoever.

What planet are you on?? If we could get in next year then we would've got in this year. We need three years worth of accounts in order to qualify for a European licence...it's been well documented FFS.

Agree16 Disagree2

Brand new clubs don't get to play in UEFA's competitions ie the Europa or Champions Leagues until they have 3 years of audited accounts.

Agree11 Disagree3

Some people just haven't grasped the repercussions of liquidation. Note how I never said 'punishment'.

JG

Agree2 Disagree2

Why would we boycott anyone? Were not bitter and twisted.....if Herats are daft enough to give you tic for two different players hell mend them. All i was asking was when is the Templeton money due? Did you pay it up front? Or will it be the same deal as Wallace and Jelavic.....pay in a years time? Simple question....no need for silly answers!

DazzaBhoy

Agree3 Disagree1

"Why would we boycott anyone? We're not bitter and twisted..."

Seriously DazzaBhoy? Were your own fans not going to boycott their own club unless they refused Rangers re-entry into the SPL and steadfastly refused to buy season tickets until it was confirmed? Were there not also calls to boycott any SPL team that supported Rangers re-entry? Kilmarnock got it seriously tight for simply having the audacity to abstain from voting on the Celtic pages if memory serves, and all sorts of punitive actions against them were being called for at the time. You personally may not be "bitter and twisted" but you are certainly conflicted and delusional if you believe your fellow fans wouldn't boycott (or at least threaten to) anyone to get their own way. Pot and kettle, mate.

In answer to your question, I have no idea. Maybe one of the Ed's know and can shed some light on it? TBH I was surprised they dealt with us again in a financial sense so soon after the Wallace shennanigans. I can only assume that the SPL paid them up for Wallace from the withheld league money from last season.

Brian {Ed001's Note - the FFP ruling now restricts the length of time that transfers can be paid over, I think (off the top of my head) that all fees now have to be paid up within two seasons. With the SFA now looking to, or maybe it has even been done by now, I haven't been able to keep track on it over the transfer window, change their rules, regarding admin, with regards to football creditors, to the same system that the English FA use, I guess Hearts feels safer dealing with Rangers.}

Agree0 Disagree2

A wing of our supporters were threatning to boycott Celtic Park if a Newco was allowed into the SPL. RFC gained that place in the league and in your hearts by winning and playing in the top divisions. Howvere that club is dead.

Sevco/Newco/The Rangers have not earned that place in the top leagues, when they do then Celtic will not be boycotting ibrox..... whereas your lot have been talking about boycotting Queens PArk (just cause they happen to play at Hampden) Your also advocating for Scotland players to effectivley retire from playing for scotland as your upset, denying players caps as Murray and Whyte killed your club? Really!

DazzaBhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers Ed001! Sorry about the length of reply.

DazzaBhoy. We are covering old ground here and we will always disagree on the key points but for Rangers fans only the Company will be liquidated, the football club itself will always be there as it is the fans that constitute the essence of a club and not money grabbing suits in boardrooms whether they are legally or illegally syphoning off the clubs funds. You are of course free to voice your own thoughts on it (they appear pretty clear with the continued Sevco/Newco reference which is really getting old and petty now - however, if you can show me a current bonafide SFA approved league table that lists Sevco as a member club occupying a league position then I will apologise and agree wholeheartedly with you) but at least be COMPLETELY honest about them when you do.

Celtic fans weren't refusing to renew season tickets on the basis that a Newco was seeking admittance into the SPL, they were refusing to renew their season tickets as an allegedly 'debt free' Rangers would effectively be re-entering the SPL without receiving any real punishment (potential future sanctions aside) for the appalling financial mismanagement under previous stewardships. If it was any other SPL club applying having similarly entered liquidation then I seriously doubt that the reaction to it would have been so vociferous. Obviously there is the argument that any other club would not have been afforded the luxury of re-applying but Rangers were the first SPL club to enter liquidation and as the SPL and SFL are separate entities with separate rules even that argument is contentious at best (although Celtic would undoubtedly have received the same options open to Rangers had the roles been reversed either way).

The bottom line is we are where we are and in my opinion we deserve to be there. I have never agreed with the talk of boycotts from either side for any reason as I feel they are counter-productive and bad for the game and what remains of our already tarnished global image, but fan power is clearly in the ascendancy in Scotland and every supporter is entitled to their own views on the matter. If they choose to vote with their feet then they are free to do so, attendance isn't compulsory and I, for one, won't shout them down for it. They can spend their money as they see fit.

As for the not having earned our place I can only assume you mean the admission process for entry into the SFL and needless to say I disagree with you there too. We retained/transferred (depends upon which side of the fence you sit) our original SFA membership so we were not strictly applying as a new club would do - we were accepted into the SFL (entirely within the existing rules - which was the first vote taken at the meeting) by all of its member clubs bar Clyde, having previously been refused entry into the SPL (which was originally pushed by both the SPL and SFA boards incidentally, which has already been conveniently forgotten). The only decision they then had to make was which Division for us to start in as we already met all the criteria within the existing guidelines. No three years of accounts etc (the normal argument against) were then necessary by this juncture.

In relation to your other points unfortunately we have our lunatic fringes just as you have yours yet they are just as entitled to hold their own opinion on these matters as we are. personally, I will continue to support Scotland and will cheer on the team no matter what club the player happens to play for as, for me, the national and domestic teams are entirely separate and domestic loyalty aside we should always support our country (which, to be completely clear, is Scotland - not Ireland OR England).

Long winded, I know, but you did raise and cover a lot of points and it isn't the longest post I have ever placed on here, lol.

I bet Levein wishes he had kept his mouth shut about Rangers players not being good enough for Scotland and in particular Wallace - he is desperate for a left back. He is willing to play an uncapped , unheard of player. He should man up and give Wallace a shout if he has the best interests of Scotland at heart. He was never a Dundee Utd manager let alone international class....

Believable28 Unbelievable14

Yep unfortunately like so many of the people in charge of football in this country there egos are bigger than there brains

Agree22 Disagree9

It was reported yesterday that Levein wanted to call Wallace up but he is carrying a knock apparently (or did he call Wallace and Wallace told him to shove it as God forbid that a 3rd Div Player would be good enough to play for Levein and that he wanted to concentrate on becoming an Ibrox legend)
Ps... The SFA need rid of Levein he's prob just as bad a Scotalnd manager as Burley only he's carrying a bit more luck.

!!Keep Calm and Be a Teddy Bear!!

Agree6 Disagree15

Levein is a buffoon and scotland have no chance of qualifying under his guidance,he is stubborn and arrogant,no doubt will play with kenny miller as lone striker from the MSL ( on a par with the SFL3) so why ignore rangers players? he shouid also have sorted out this steven fletcher saga long time ago and had him in the team no matter what.
i was in the czech rep to watch his infamous 4-6-0 formation and vowed never to watch them again under this clown

ian

Agree11 Disagree12

Levein the man who said people from SFL 3 aren't playing at a high enough level to be picked.....then picked Ian Black. The man who plays players who never feature for their clubs. The man who thought we were that inferior to the Czech Republic that he played 4-6-0....and the man who is too stubborn to pick Steven Fletcher for the Scotland squad. He truly is an arrogant, tactically naive and all round poor manager.

Agree12 Disagree5

Personally I always support Scotland but this time round with Levein at the helm I expect nothing from the national team.

The guys never won a single title or cup and I'd be shocked if he took us to Brazil.

Hamish RTID

Agree9 Disagree2

I was at old Trafford when we drew 0-0 with man utd reserves a couple of year ago, Walter used the 8-1-1 formation, what's the difference?

Agree7 Disagree3

To the post above the difference is that rangers drew the game while Scotland lost. Thought that was obvious!

Agree3 Disagree6

Not a Levein fan and don't think Scotland will qualify for the world cup however the Fletcher situation isn't totally his fault. Steven Flecther has had a major part to play in his omission from the squads and it seems both are as stubborn as each other. In reality though it won't make any difference if he plays or not Scotland will not qualify anyway

Agree3 Disagree2

Number 7, we drew because of luck, so what your saying is because Walter got a draw his formation was ok then? Because from I were I was sitting at old Trafford is was dross to watch.

Agree2 Disagree1

9 what I am saying is that Walter picked a side and a formation in order to give Rangers the best possible chance to compete. If we had opened up and tried to attack that night we would have been picked off and humiliated. I was there too that night and can't remember any great luck or any great saves from MacGregor. Rangers were never under siege and Man utd hardly threatened. We would all love to see attacking football but it's just not possible against the top teams in Europe. To criticise rangers for getting a draw at old Trafford is laughable. Would u rather we attacked and lost by 4 or 5?

Agree1 Disagree0

Your not getting what I'm saying, ur happy criticise levein for a 4-6-0 but ur happy with the formation Walter sent out?

Ed charging 20 pound a ticket for league cup against motherwell needs to be the way forward surely? If we full ibrox and game on tv that's 600,000 to rangers, which almost pays for Templeton transfer, instead of thinking how much motherwell get surely we should be thinking how much it would cost us if we don't fill ibrox? {Ed001's Note - I would say that supporting your own club should always come ahead of getting at others. If people stay away, it is a big boost to the away side, empty stadiums are always to the benefit of the away team.}

Believable13 Unbelievable5

Totally agree with Ed, we need to back the team and stop this nonsense. Plus it is a better standard of footy to watch that the D3 dross!

@8 the sfl clubs never done it to get one over on rangers they put us down in the third because they would not allow the spl to dictate to them they should be applauded for this and givin our support except for raith rovers there chairman is a disgrace even worse than lie well

Agree3 Disagree3

@9: nonsense, some of the SFL clubs did it to further their cause, especially those who were promoted because of the decision. You think the SPl clubs did it 'to get one over' but that's just your opinion which is a bit daft, considering the financial loss these clubs will make. Keep believing that and excusing the SFL clubs who didn't allow you into the first division if you like. Didn't many D1 clubs come out and say there was no way Rangers should be allowed in because it would just be wrong? Why can't the SPL clubs have thought that too?

Agree4 Disagree0

@10 you really are not prepared to listen the spl wanted us out because there fans told them that's what they wanted. Then secretly the spl tried to bully the sfl to allow us in at div 1 so they would only lose one seasons money of home games against rangers the sfl did not buy it and sent us to the third that's what I wanted if it was not the spl then start at the bottom and work our way up simple as the sfl would not be bribed and they get my respect for that

Agree1 Disagree1

@11: so Airdrie etc. voted the way they did because of this or because they would get promoted. And clubs like Falkirk didn't think that Rangers in the 1st would prevent them from being promoted to the SPL. Keep convincing yourself that's not the case. It's hilarious to read the attempted justification for boycotts when it's all a fallacy based on perceived victimisation. Posts like yours make the rest of us giggle.

Agree4 Disagree1

@12. Perceived victimisation? Accused of this from a celtic fan...you couldn't make this up.

Agree3 Disagree2

@11 no mate it's posts like yours that make us rangers supporters giggle really you are full off yourself. But whatever mate if trying to make rangers fans that your warped way of thinking is correct is never going to work but whatever makes you happy. So I will try once more to get through to your limited intelligence it was all over the news at the time that the spl tried to bribe the sfl to let us in to div 1 the sfl said go ram your bribe where the sun don't shine. Go on tell me I'm wrong and that never happened you space cadet

Agree1 Disagree1

@14: who's of limited intelligence if they believe what's all over the news? You, my friend - you're the type who believed everything Murray fed to the press probably. Keep convincing yourself of the bribery thing and I'll keep laughing at your delusion. So you think Airdrie, Falkirk etc, were unhappy about the SPl or were really looking out for themselves? Oh dear, I feel sorry for you with your higher level of intelligence than mine. You make me glad I'm not that intelligent as I'd probably be in the next room in the asylum to you.

Agree0 Disagree0

@13: not a Celtic fan, just interested in laughing at deluded Rangers fans ;)

Agree1 Disagree0

@13: but many Rangers fans ARE claiming they've been victimised so you don't have to make it up. Just look at some of the posts on here for proof.

Agree0 Disagree0

@17. I know some Rangers fans feel victimised, I personally don't, but for many years (too many to mention) i've had to listen to celtic fans claiming they are always victimised against in a)football, b)the press and c)society in general. Thats why i find it amusing to be accused of 'perceived victimisation'. Apologies for thinking you were a celtic fan, but there are more of them on here than their own pages.

Agree1 Disagree0

@15 I never bought into Murray I supported rangers for my own reasons and will support rangers no matter who is in charge that's a choice I made a long time ago I don't have a second team a English team a foreign team or any other team. And as far as believing the media mate I would rather believe them than you see they need to tell the truth to a certain degree or they can be sued. Unlike you you just talk Sh,te

I can't believe why fellow Gers are so up beat. Yes we have an ok team for the lower leagues but some of us are talking as if we are great. I watched on Sunday and I was embarrassed at some of the optimism . We were just ok. We beat Elgin . A part time outfit who were knacked after 20 min. Now it is ' we are gonna wap Motherwell ' I just hope we get real and know our limitations. I read somewhere that some of us would love to get septic. My god if we played them at the moment that 7 - 1 game they sing about might become 8

Thank our lucky stars we are still around with an ok team. Good enough to go up hopefully. But get real

Believable44 Unbelievable21

Agree mate 100%.
Too early to beat Celtic...maybe?
Nothing wrong with a touch of optimism,it's about time we were upbeat after what we've been through but i take your point.
CFC aren't that good a team let's not over hype them.
P.O.B.

Agree9 Disagree12

I take it sir, your glass is half empty? Theres nothing wrong with some positivity. After the last 6 months us Bears have had, by god we need somethin to smile about so get of your negative high horse. Rtid

Agree8 Disagree8

I don't know what game you watched at the weekend?

Do you realise this is a rangers forum?

Agree8 Disagree12

I agree our defence is p..h not really had much attacking against s at home.come up against a team who has more of ball for instance attack us more i dread to think hope we can bring on some young defenders cribari is a donkey

Agree5 Disagree3

We have a better squad than motherwell even straurt mccall adminted it 2 days ago

Agree5 Disagree7

I'm not being negative . Just know there is a need for a bit of realism. Yes there is a reason to smile but we are not champions league material yet. Some of us think we a great. Again it was Elgin we beat 5-1 .Maybe the game against Motherwell will help ground us a bit!

Agree10 Disagree3

Calm doon min the whole of Scottish fitbaw is mince rangers should have no pros beating Motherwell at ibrox. Every player in our team is still of spl standard. Celtic I will give you it might be a bad result if we get drawn against them it might not. Imagine if we get to the final against them they might Sh,te themselves at the prospect of getting beat by a third I've team we all know there bottle crashes but if we get pumped by them ah well we're a third div team

Agree4 Disagree9

Pob we humped you 3-0 in the last ever old firm game. since then you have lost i think 17 of the best you had. and replaced them with mince. we are maybe not that good , as you say. but bring it on , the sooner the better. and remember we will be practicing against the best in europe., while you play part timers week after week.. shamrock

Agree8 Disagree4

@5. McCall is an unambitious idiot. At the weekend when told on BBC Scotland that a win could put him top he said something along the lines of let's not think that way. He then said his ambition was only to finish in the top six. How can that be motivational to the players. Had he been a bit more positive last season, his team might have finished second.
Al

Agree6 Disagree4

Hail Hail Shamrock.

P.O.B we gubbed you several times prior to you's changing clubs and players. It may well be five years before your fit to worry Celtic. Get real, Sheils was a failure at Hibs and Doncaster! Sandaza wasn't the best at Dundee United or Brighton! And lets not get started on McCulloch.......hardly a football player is he. More like some battering ram, how Ally rates that man i'll never know. I've played against better in Pub leagues.

Elgin were extremely poor on Sunday and yet they still managed to score at ibrox! Your team are stumbling around div3 like a drunk chasing a balloon....... Ally aint the answer!

Im quite sure its mind games with mccall, he will be telling the players different lines behind closed doors im sure, Motherwell are a tough side to beat, dont get too carried away bears. jj

@10 - Lol -Your inane ramblings aren't the answer either DB.
Need to up your game considerably me old mucka.

So P.O.B are you trying to tell me that McCulloch would start every week if you were playing in Europe? If you are the you young man are needing medicated.

Saw Naismith being interviewed by
the BBC for the Scotland game. I was
thinking of going to the game but
when I saw him I changed my mind.

Believable34 Unbelievable24

I agree mate Naismith is the worst of the deserters. We nursed him on full pay through his injury.he should have left for a fee, greedy boy.as for Scotland most of the deserters are in.DONT GO

Agree24 Disagree16

Listened to Gordon Dalziel and Mark Guidie
on SSB last night telling us that SPL and Scotland need rangers back in SPL asap.
Don't these guys have internet access and
listen to what sevco fans are saying on forums such as this,RM.gers net, bears den etc.You tell us you will boycott SPL
grounds and not attend Scotland matches.
So whats their point in pushing rangers into SPL.
Yogi (smarter than the average bear)

Agree7 Disagree5

Point 1. Rangers would have insured Naismith against injury.

Point 2. If he didn't leave when he did he might not have earned the move to Everton.

Point 3. What big fees have Rangers recieved from any of the players who Tuped over?

Point 4. He was our best player last season until his injury and helped put us in a commanding lead in the SPL. I shouldn't have to remind anyone here, what happened without him.

Good luck to the guy!

BARNEY BEAR

Agree11 Disagree12

There is NO sevco are you to bigoted to say rangers

Agree9 Disagree10

How childish some on here are, well said Barney Bear
Tam

Agree10 Disagree4

@4: explain how saying Sevco is bigoted...

(It'll be a laugh if you do.)

Agree6 Disagree2

@6 I think if you actually read what was said , you will find the poster never even hinted that saying Sevco was in anyway bigoted, what he was saying was that you could not bring yourself to mention the name Rangers.
(Eds I dont know how you do it, reading some of these post cannot be good for your sanity). {Ed001's Note - we do a lot of banging our heads against brick walls.}

Agree0 Disagree3

@7: Ok, explain how not saying Rangers is bigoted? Maybe it's a joke, a wind-up, even - it certainly got someone going. No different to Smelltic, Septic etc. Not bigoted; just humour, albeit not very funny at all.

Agree3 Disagree0

@8) I don't think I mentioned in my post that not saying Rangers was bigoted, I pointed out that you obviously had not read the post you were commenting on . Which you obviously never seeing as your reply made no sense. Anyway here is the dictionary definition of bigotry for you.
bigotry[ big-uh-tree ]
noun pl. big·ot·ries.
1. stubborn and complete intolerance of any creed, belief, or opinion that differs from one's own.
2. the actions, beliefs, prejudices, etc., of a bigot.

Giving that I have never had the pleasure of conversing with your good self, about any sort of subject there is no way for me to assertain whether your reluctance to use the Rangers word is caused by you being bigoted or not. Let's face it we all have some views that could be construed as being bigoted by some sections of society, hopes that address your question in some way.

Agree0 Disagree1

God, give it a rest. This is a banter site, try it sometime. Bigot this, Bigot that - it's all getting really boring now. Ed, do you ever feel like your losing the will to live reading some of these posts? {Ed001's Note - always mate, most of the editors won't even go near the Celtic or Rangers pages.}

Agree1 Disagree0

@9: I didn't make the original 'Sevco' post. How can you tell? I referred to Rangers in #8.

Thanks for the dictionary lesson but I knew what it meant. The response was to find out how it could be perceived that someone who refused to type Rangers could be bigoted (a daft accusation) but any answer seems to have been lost in your babble.

Why haven 't secco told us what fans have decided to call Murray park. I think it was either Moses McNeil academy or davies cooper academy do you know ed

Believable4 Unbelievable19

FS - and you say you are not obsessed, i bet you woke up this morning and that was the first thing that came into your head?

JG

Agree9 Disagree3

Firstly who are secco? Secondly, the voting papers went out with the original ST renewal forms which were cancelled, for the time being Murray Park is being called Auchenhowie.

Agree3 Disagree5

Another Green lie, I've come to believe anyone that has ever been on the board of the old club and now this new club tells lies.
If we bought season tickets we were getting two name options to choose from.
Guess he's been ordered to back track and it's to remain named after the goodly knight.

04 Sep 2012 22:26:21
Does anyone know either of these. If we do come through and win 4 leagues in a row including spl, has that ever been done by a club in britain or abroad. also when we play queens park at hmpden, are there any restrictions on crowd numbers, or are we able to fill the ground

Believable1 Unbelievable12

No team from abroad has ever won the spl!(you did ask a stupid question)

Agree8 Disagree3

4 leagues in a row i meant in this country or abroad, including the top league.Has it been done? if so by who. sorry am forgetting some people cant work things out for themselves, and need everything explained to them . my god its a legit, and simple enough question.secondly , any answers to my second question regarding queens park

Agree0 Disagree5

2nd question ,i might be wrong but is it not a percentage of the home capacity. ie the old rangers got 8,000 at celtic park and we got the broomloan stand.even if the old firm side had'nt sold their allocation the other set of supporters would not have got any more. so i think the answer to your question would be that you will be entitled to around 6/7 thousand tickets.. if i'm wrong , sorry, just my understanding of the rules. maybe the home side can give away more voluntarily , like the flag clinchers towards the end of the season. i think killie gave celtic extra last year so maybe your right and they could give you 40,000 or so, but all the money would go to queens park. shamrock

Agree4 Disagree1

@3 rule 108
ADMISSION ARRANGEMENTS FOR VISITING CLUBS
Unless otherwise instructed by the Board, each club must make provision
for a reasonable number of visiting supporters at every home match. In the
event of any dispute arising between clubs as to the provision to be made
for visiting supporters at any match, the Board shall, upon application made
by either party, consider and adjudicate upon the matter.

Come on I really like big jig But he's a 34 yr old who's on 10-12 grand a week and clearly settled up here why would he wnt to leave? He was bought for 2.25 million and never really hit the heights and was one of our highest earners and was contracted to gers till 2013 before liq,he owes rangers loyalty. Gman

Believable4 Unbelievable25

Op there is no way he is earning any where near what you say and no players owe loyalty to any clubs these days. however jig would run through a brick wall just to play with us (anywhere he is asked), his actions and attitude during our troubles more than compensates for other areas where he may be slightly lacking,
he is also the right man for the captains job at this time to teach new players what playing for rangers is all about and to pass his experience to young players coming through

he may not be up there with the greatest most skillful players but he will go down as a rangers legend for his attitude and service to the club

JG

Agree7 Disagree4

So obv when jungle jims postin, jig offered to play for free also was first to come out sayin hes goin nowhere and would play anywhere the gers end up
will go down in history as a gers legend i see a coachin roll for jig at gers in the future

Agree5 Disagree5

He hasnt hit the heights? scored a few in the CL against Lyon etc, also scored a few against Smeltic. He has done a good job for Gers in my opinion.

J

Agree8 Disagree5

He stayed loyal to the fans and club. I know he is being paid to play football, but he did offer to play for nothing not so long ago. He could have jumped ship but chose not to, and for that we applaud his loyalty.
