Agree totally. he is the most negative national team manager in history and his tactics and selections are awful. We will be lucky to finish 5th in world cup section. We are currently on a par with the minnows of Europe.

Difference is between playing poor teams or becoming part of a poor team....Irrespective your new signing of sunday league players the overall quality will go down.

Rangers players were unreliable. The seemed very suseptible to mystery injuries which only occured before an unglamourous international match and cleard in time for the next SPL match.

I guess you were not the same guys moaning about players being drafted in to the squad from the second tier in England, as that would be double standards.

And who at div3 Newco could possibly play in the Scotland squad ahead of the other first tier players? Levein is correct. They are not playing at high enough level. Even div1 isn't high enough. No national manager could risk his reputation by fielding div3 players ahead of SPL or epl players.

Who cares about playing for Scotland anyway?!? That ship isn't going anywhere. I'd choose Rangers every time- no contest. Delighted with the thought of watching half decent players, they are much better signings that I thought would be probable.

However when you look at Black on £7k a week, if he takes Davis's place they have probably still saved £18k a week which is close on £1m per year.

I am impressed with Green and potential signings.

Davis was on nowhere near £25k/week.
the highest paid player last year was mcgregor on 21k

I'm worried about all this debt again---wages and running Ibrox etc.How can they pay for this?Who are the backers and is it enough to keep us going?

@6: there was no wrong-doing by Marseille in the Champions League which is why they weren't stripped of it: the wrong-doing was in the league. If Rangers are found to have had dual contracts then that is classed as wrong-doing and the titles may well be stripped as a result.

We're playing with ten men to make it interesting. Shouldnt laugh as Black is in the team lol. Quality spine to the team with youngsters giving it depth when needed. I hope another 3 or 4 signings of at least SPL squad level are made. Dont have to be amazing, just dependable. CheltBlue

Take shields and little and put them in midfield and make it a 4 5 1 cause thats what we do ithink 442 is the best with sandaza and shiels up front

Although Broadfoot has experience at right back, i dont think he is the answer even in the 3rd division based on the Brechin game. Do we not have another option in one of the younger players to get a chance in this position

I think Lee Wallace will make the left back position his own during this campaign.

I've read the statement and it's tokenism.

Rangers v malmo 28000 and rangers v hearts first game last year 50000 thats 78000 difference 24000 at say an average of 20 pound is almost half a million more income for celtic. The 53000 at parkhead during the week was a season ticket game so celtic gained no more than they already would have, if anything it cost them... his offer is less than a 5th of what black is on..but he hasnt come out and said it out of respect...however..after the abuse...keith jackson is going to set the record straight tomorrow and divulge how much he was offered trust me...its embarrassing for us.

Beattie should look at his games per season rate.Injury prone and not a great goals to game ratio.

How come we can afford to revamp the official website - although it is a terrible revamp as all the former players who have jumped ship are still lited as first team squad...

Perhaps because signing clubs have not paid for transfers they are considered to still be contracted to rangers

FS how much would that cost for one guy maybe for one day, get a grip we have bigger problems than fn that!!
