Why do we persist in belittling our players. Windass gets constantly slated and I guarantee if he played for hearts, hibs or Aberdeen we would be clamouring to sign him. Wind your necks in and back your club or shut up about being loyal.

Too many people looking at his stats and thinking he's great. I assume people are forgetting actually watching how pish he's been in games. If he was playing as well as people make out then maybe we wouldn't be sitting 3rd. think about that. And before people tell me its a team game and its not all about him. he has made sooo many atrocious decisions in the final 3rd that could have been goals but he's made an arse of it and turned towards his own net. The criticism of him is justified in my opinion. To many bears have grown up watching the banter years and think what we witness now is acceptable. i'm sorry but i grew up watching us win silverware, what i'm watching now is awful.

I remember cammy Fraser giving the fans a gesture he never played for us again it’s an honour to pull that blue jersey on you take the stick the same as you take the plaudits he thinks he’s better than he is and I can’t see what people see in him he goes missing in every game near enough he’s a sub at most.

Totally agree with you on Windass he has ability but let's be honest here he is a halfwit and has no clue on what to do for the best! He's more interested in social media and reacting to what fans have said he will be gone in the summer!

Muir_bluenose, the bears who grew up during the banter years are still children by my calculations. I also grew up watching us win trophies, and there are plenty of older bears that remember Aberdeen and Dundee Utd etc. winning trophies. You seem to be judging the current players against a time when we could outbid the majority of top English teams for players, sadly those days have gone! There wasn't a player worth keeping from the team that Ally built, Warburton spent about £2m on his whole squad, most of what Pedro spent was wasted, and Murty has brought in a few loans, we're hardly going to be tearing up trees. I presume you think King should step aside and let someone with money chase the Champions League dream? The problems with that are that we cannot attract the top players to Scotland, it's getting harder each year for teams from countries like us to qualify and if you fail to qualify FFP means that regardless of how wealthy your sugar daddy is you can't throw £30-40m at it without some potential of a return, resulting in more banter years. So while you may not find it acceptable we have no option but to move forward slowly and sustainably. In the meantime I advise you grin and Bear it!

Good result tonight quite a few people have said they wanted morelos droped with cummings the replacment this has happend twice now and cummings has not produced on both occasions morelos offers far more up front these two would be lethal as a partnership but it won't happen.
Also time to get docherty in the middle instead of holt or goss.

Cummings ran his socks off tonight played the ball into candeas to slide the cross to windass for the goal. Held the ball up well still adapting to our style of play. Goss has a great range of passing and delivery from set pieces. Holt bombs about the park with energy. I like docherty but he's yet to show me anything in the minutes he's played for us so far to merit a start over holt or goss.

My point was more based on cummings not scoring yeh he worked his socks of and done well but so does morelos every game so why should cummings start a head of him.
Goss is not our player no chance signing him so play someone who is going be hear for a few years.
Yeh holt is full of running energy but apart from this what does he contribute we do not see many assists or goals from our cm this needs to improve for us to challenge at the top

Cummings isn’t a loan striker and needs someone to feed off. He put a shift in but struggled and will struggle if he plays the lone striker role

The strikers need to start hitting the net as there goals ratio per chances are no very great I hope Miller is no were near the team tonight along with Halliday just keeping young guys out the squad!

Going by one of the rags tonight's line up has cardosa in for Bates, Docherty for Holt and Jessie windass starts again personally I wouldn't let the guy near a rangers jersey after what he posted.

I'd like to see Cardoso in for Bates tbh. Big man has done well but he looks like he's towing a caravan the now.

I feel Cardoso has potential, decent with the ball at his feet and he's one of the quicker defenders we have, just needs to work on being more physical (still won't protect you from being elbowed in the face mind you haha) .

Holt won't be benched surely if he's been captaining? I'd imagine somebody else will be dropped for Docherty if he is to start, probably Goss, young lads free kick was class but we need a bit more dig in the midfield.

What has Windass meant to have posted? People need to remember Windass cost us about 100k, he's done well this season considering We will make a large profit on him if sold.

Bearmode we won't make a large profit on Windass. We had 300,000 bid which we knocked back for him and no further bids and that says it all for me. He is a championship player for me. Scottish championship that is 🇬🇧
