07 Jul 2016 00:25:17
Dam lightening strikes all over the place supposedly i'm giving it another 20 mins them i'm off to my scratcher.

07 Jul 2016 01:10:02
Juat type in rangers vs charleston still nothing coming up though and that's 1.10am.

06 Jul 2016 23:00:47
Is kranjcar injured? not in tonight squad.

06 Jul 2016 23:54:48
Not match fit, was out injured before he signed.

06 Jul 2016 22:56:49
After a several weeks in Portugal, it is time to get back to my first love, the Glasgow Rangers. I might have my doubts about DK, but I am totally behind MW. We might not always agree with some of his tactics, but the end product is what is required. We must accept that he picks the team and he knows where he wants to take us .
Being totally honest, in Warbs I trust.

07 Jul 2016 11:00:38
Good to hear from you mate
So looking forward to the new season
In warbs we trust.

06 Jul 2016 20:34:40
Russian workmate? Sounds like a scene fae Trainspotting matešŸ˜€ Was Robbie Neilson there?

06 Jul 2016 21:00:04
Brilliant warbtheone.

06 Jul 2016 19:32:47
Anyone thought that we could get Ross McCormack through a loophole then it would be the best thing warbs could do, I know the boy Would be worth mega bucks but if there's a loophole then it is possible, this might be who warbs was talking about, it helps with Ross being a Rangers fan.

06 Jul 2016 20:02:39
Worst post yet.

06 Jul 2016 20:05:22
Hes a celtic fan.

06 Jul 2016 20:12:43
Eh! I've never heard of a loophole to get a 8 figure player for next nothing.
Unless you mean on loan but that sounds as daft as the loophole idea.
I don't understand where your post is coming from sir.

06 Jul 2016 20:17:39
Sorry to tell you but as much as McCormack played for us he is a huge Celtic fan.

06 Jul 2016 20:22:14
What loophole you on about, McCormack is contracted until 2019 and valued at 10-15 million.

Think youĀ“re talking out your own loophole.

06 Jul 2016 21:10:22
Talking out of your own loophole may well be the best eerie comment on a post.

06 Jul 2016 23:05:08
Agree Ross is a top striker who commands huge transfer fees and in hindsight we should never have let him leave.

I was in Porto when his late equalizer effectively set us up for a last 16 place in CL (before another team I may add) however ". it helps Ross being a Rangers fan. "?

I can assure you he 'hails from the darkside'

07 Jul 2016 11:15:01
doesn't matter where he hails from he it top class and a 10 million pound pricetag on his head he will be staying down south he won't take a step backwards now!

07 Jul 2016 16:04:08
First thing he declared when he left was to tell us he was a dhim, though everyone knew that? Just shows some people know nothing of what they speak about.

06 Jul 2016 19:49:56
Would Love for warbs to put a 1 million pound bid in for Wells when we're back from the states, this player is the one, hope warbs thinks the same.

06 Jul 2016 20:25:49
Does he travel through realms of reality and dreamworlds using phone lines, see in code, learn martial arts in the blink of an eye and slow down time? If so, maybe he is the one.

06 Jul 2016 22:17:17
Keanu wells.

07 Jul 2016 11:19:58
ive not seen much of him infact I've not seen him att all is he any good guys?

06 Jul 2016 19:40:27
Russian mate at work! Belter! What was his name? Sukamakokov? šŸ˜³.

06 Jul 2016 21:03:35
Who'dya Nikabollokov.

06 Jul 2016 22:31:14
Onjya backyabitch.

06 Jul 2016 23:59:32
Gotzkee Meedikolicotz.

07 Jul 2016 11:21:26
im sure his wifes name is mrs nickerzonandoffski!

06 Jul 2016 18:39:59
Zamora. Cummings. Ings. Bradshaw. Crouch. Grigg. Could be anyone. And I know we all believe in MW getting it right which he will. Yeah we are all buzzing with excitement and is hard to be patient when you hear its going to be a quality signing. But real rangers fans will know who's being ridiculous on this. 8 signings made already and more to come. Can't wait for the season to start but one pet hate I have on this is people who bring up the rotten mob. Who gives a damn who there buying selling or whatever they're doing. #55 glasgows red white and blue and always will be.

06 Jul 2016 18:46:53
Who said it's going to be a quality signing? I've heard nothing but rumours on strikers with no source or substance to them so far.

06 Jul 2016 19:15:26
Blurryface, mark warburton's rangers signings are ALL quality signings my friend, that's why he's 'the magic hat'!

06 Jul 2016 19:27:14
Some have been. Wouldn't class tav. Keirnan as quality signings I'd say they were sufficient for the time. Ohallaron is debatable.

06 Jul 2016 18:28:49
What are the thoughts on free agents David ngog and kenywen Jones.

Ngog playing well in France last season possible links to mcparland.

06 Jul 2016 19:02:03
Think Jones would have been on a small fortune in Dubai, if I remember he had a trial with us back in Ecks day. Ngog has a pretty poor scoring record, not sure he would really fit in as he is a bit more of a blunt instrument, both are in fact.

06 Jul 2016 16:32:37
Just like to wish wales all the best for their euro semi-final against portugal tonight, common the welsh dragons you can do it! My prediction is 2-1 wales, I only wish it was scotland who were in wales position, hope all scotland gets behind wales tonight, god bless gary speed, he started all this off by starting the rebuild of wales, I'm sure he's looking down proud as punch!

06 Jul 2016 18:34:34
Why disagree with a decent post, maybe you're Portuguese so that's okay, totally echo the thoughts for Gary speed, c'mon Wales šŸ³.

06 Jul 2016 18:44:42
Heart says Wales but my head thinks Portugal will go through and that France versus Germany is the real final before the final.

Saying that I thought England would have a decent championship.

06 Jul 2016 18:54:30
Soton Bear

Or maybe they have money on Portugal?

06 Jul 2016 19:31:31
Fair point biffo mate never took that to mind.

06 Jul 2016 16:24:00
Yeah that was easiest the best fan noise of the euros that chant, from Iceland, I just hope we're not signing the will grigg song because that will mean we signed him.

And I am hearing rumblings that the new strikers a good one, or suppose to be.

50,000 rangers fans making that Icelandic Viking chant bring it on.

06 Jul 2016 16:44:10
It's a Motherwell thing.

06 Jul 2016 17:46:12
used to do that years ago when opposition teams where taking corners.

06 Jul 2016 18:18:29
Pretty sure I remember it being done when albertz was about to hit a free kick.

06 Jul 2016 22:54:02
Have Motherwell got enough fans in the stadium to make that Viking chant, or is it one man and his dug. LWdawson.

06 Jul 2016 16:23:52
cant help saying i think Barton should be told to stop all the bad mouthing and criticising other players and managers. BANTER is one thing, but he IS asking for trouble when the season gets under way. MW should bar him from talking independently to the media and press. It's not very good publicity.

06 Jul 2016 17:41:17
It's great publicity and he can back it all up when he gets on the pitch.

06 Jul 2016 16:05:30
Hello fellow bears. first time post on the site. How about us adopting the Iceland Viking clap!? They do play in the right colours after all! Imagine 50,000 of us banging that out and frightening the crap out of the rest of the SPFL!

06 Jul 2016 16:55:54
Would be great.

07 Jul 2016 11:34:43
ihope we can nick that as its almost as good as the porto chant which in my opinion we should do aswell (shouting rangers ovcourse.

06 Jul 2016 15:43:30
The players from last year will all be better this year as we now have real competition for places and if they want to play you have to play well . if Celtic don't get it right then it could be a very expensive year getting rid of brodgers . we are on the up and hopefully soon it will be us at the top again.

06 Jul 2016 18:28:22
Won't be too expensive as he is on a 1 year rolling contract.

07 Jul 2016 11:36:34
he is a good manager and will get them playing nice football but we have a year infront of them playing nice football and we will keep up the Rodgers hoodoo and he will leave selik still having won nothing!

06 Jul 2016 15:30:52
I tend to agree with the post about will grigg to a certain extent, how did he not get on before McGennis, lafferty, and co! That puzzled me specially when the whole NI crowd were signing his song.
I'm not saying he's a bad player it's just strange that's all

I think he's far to highly valued 2-3 mil, I'm pretty sure the striker is not Bradshaw or Vaughn, because Rangers would have made moves for them already, it's not lafferty.

I think the Striker must be a bit off a curve ball, no one sees coming, because Warbaton quoted in the papers he wants a striker this week. Yet no speculation.
I'm confused with the situation. And I really think we defo need a new striker.

If anyone knows who it is just say, Please can someone with knowledge give us at least a clue.

And I don't want the man from the petrol station stories, or my dads uncles grandad type thing. Just a little hint would be nice.

07 jul 2016 11:41:17
i agree i don't think it will be anyone that has been mentioned on here etc; bradshaw, griggs, zamora, crouch, rvp, wells or igns.

i would like it to be ings out of all of the above but can't see us affording him!

06 Jul 2016 14:34:36
Just bak fae holiday and my fellow bears tell me big laff a minute has been making noises about a return to the gers don't make me laff you made yur bed.

06 Jul 2016 18:56:04
Dazza73

Spot on mate.

06 Jul 2016 13:07:34
I wish Joey Barton was told by Rangers to forget all this stuff on social media he puts on every other day he is saying something about other players or teams, let your talking be done on the park Joey if you can play half as good as you tweet you should be some player for the famous Glasgow Rangers.

06 Jul 2016 13:32:05
The magic hat was well aware of who he was signing and is obviously happy with his character. I wish he wasn't so vocal personally but it comes with the package and he's not going to stop it. He does it to get a reaction and I'm pretty sure he'll relish having the whole league desperate to prove him wrong!

06 Jul 2016 13:37:26
I am all for JB posting on social media winding the other lot up. How many wind ups have we had to endure in the las 4 years. The club itself should remain dignified but Joey seems to be pretty good in the art of winding up.

06 Jul 2016 14:17:16
Bring it on is what I say. All sorts of people have tried to have a pop back so he must be doing something right. I'm sure Barton will show his class on the pitch anyway and shut the lot of them up, Broony and Frankengriff.

06 Jul 2016 14:40:41
Personally I hope Warbs tells him to cut out his crap on social media.

Yes, he's a far better player than Brown, everybody knows this, so why give an opposition player an extra incentive when the two sides meet.

Barton is just up here to use Rangers' massive media profile and help his career as a TV pundit. He can call his horse WeAreThePeople and say how much he loves the club and fool a majority of fans but not all of us.

I might praise Barton's performances on the park but I will never like the classless man as a human being and, like El Hadji Diouf, I wish he had never been brought to Ibrox.

06 Jul 2016 15:03:56
whats wrong naz he is just having a bit of banter its nothing to go mad at "yet" lol there is nothing wrong with expressing your opinion and if people don't like it then that's their problem its just his opinion and he is entitled to share it on his twitter account!
it is his account and the people that follow him its their choice, I think the guy speaks what he belives to be the truth and he doesn't beat about the busch and Scottish football has been short of real characters for quite a few years now this will be a good thing for Scottish football!

06 Jul 2016 17:44:26
Sorry Naz but I don't agree. We live in a country that is devoid of characters because everyone is afraid of causing offense.
We need more character on the pitch and off it to generate publicity for our game. hopefully more money will follow to try to raise the standard in the SPL.

06 Jul 2016 18:42:13
Just my personal opinion, I think the man is a thug and if things go wrong for him at Ibrox he'll happily slag us an Scottish football off.

I don't follow him on Twitter although last time I saw one of his Tweets he was saying he had no problem with the behaviour of Hibs fans after the Cup final. If he thinks that sort of thing is OK then it shows the type of man he is.

He would have got nowhere near Ibrox when I was younger.

06 Jul 2016 19:25:46
He will need to be very consistent or there will be plenty of players and x players and media all over him but he's quite right with his tweets going to be a very entertaining season
He's got real quality and a great football brain the other players will learn loads of him I'd make him captain sorry lee.

06 Jul 2016 19:46:08
Personally, as long as joey Barton does his talking on the pitch, I don't give a monkeys what he puts on social media. We don't own joey Barton 24 hrs a day people, the guy has his own time in which he can do as he pleases (as long as he doesn't do nything to tarnish the Rangers name) but I don't think slagging off rivals n installing a bit of rivalry is nything too serious. Get off the guys back n remember he, like everyone else, can do as he pleases in his free time. Ps, griffiths esp n brown have been getting Wee sly digs at us in the last few years, slagging the level we were playing at, and I didn't hear too many complaints, now one of our players is winding them up a bit n it's wrong to do it. Get a grip people.

06 Jul 2016 10:13:17
The talk surrounding The Rangers is that there is a "big name striker" coming to our club. The talk on Follow Follow with the same blogger that posted the Joey Barton transfer way before it was common knowledge to my understanding knows who this striker is and has been contacted directly by Rangers not to let this name out. There must be a reason for that and I would imagine this transfer would demand a fee. I hope we are all remaining realistic.

Off the subject I think King has done some great work sins returning to Ibrox but I'm split with my opinion on asking supporters to travel to away grounds when these clubs couldn't wait to hammer us with all the sanctions imposed on us excluding Kilmarnock who choose not to vote. We have taken our medicine and I wouldn't blame and Bear for not wanting to give these clubs our money that we work hard for. On the other hand massive clubs should have massive crowds home and away. Personal instead of traveling to Hearts, Motherwell etc save the money and go an away trip when we are back in Europe.

Closing with wishing all the best to the Welsh team tonight I really hope they get to the final .

06 Jul 2016 10:58:12
Majority saying its big peter crouch we're signing, what do you think AnotherBear?

06 Jul 2016 11:08:25
I really hope no Warbs. He was a good player but he's finished now imo I think if its Crouch I wouldn't be the only one disappointed. I I must admit the names of strikers we are being linked with of this site (most of them are just rumours) don't fill me with excitement

Cumming
Lafferty
Vaughan
etc

what's your thoughts?

06 Jul 2016 12:11:52
Being totally honest with you mate it won't happen but I'd love to see us signing danny ings even if its just a loan deal, I trust our manager whichever striker he brings in but my preference would be ings, wells, bradshaw, griggs, campbell,
what about you?

06 Jul 2016 12:43:34
I can appreciate the argument, for not going to some away games, but I'll be going to as many as I can. I just want to watch our team. On the subject of a striker I just don't think MW wants an player like Crouch or Lafferty, even at their best, Naismith or Ings I could see just hope its Ings.

06 Jul 2016 13:16:41
Would love someone young and hungry as our new striker, preferably the likes of Bradshaw, Wells or Grigg. I have every faith in the magic hat regardless of who it turns out to be. Exciting times to be a bear!

06 Jul 2016 13:20:13
Please don't let it be crouch. We would get a year tops out of him and let's be honest he is only looking to pick up his wages every week. Not what we need.

I know it's always unpopular but I'd go for Cummings but I doubt we will ever deal with hibs again. He is young, fast, eye for goal and in sure the manager would work wonders with him.

Now just to sit back and wait for everyone to come in and have a go as to y it shouldn't be Cummings.

06 Jul 2016 13:24:33
Talk in Liverpool is the Ings story is a non starter plus he's suffered a bad injury. I'm in total agreement with you I trust our manager no matter who it is. Time will tell. Bluepete that's totally down to you mate and I would never slag of a Bear for going to watch us its a touchy subject maybe its just me being miserable I just don't want to give money to these clubs. How brilliant is our manager but? he's just everything you want and expect from a Ranger .

06 Jul 2016 15:14:22
Cummings? naw!

on the boycotting of away games it is personal choice but I think we take a percentage of the gate for those games so we would be sort of biting our noses off to spite our own face if we do that.

as we need every penny we can get whilst we are under shitty retail agreements.

06 Jul 2016 15:30:55
Been told it's Grigg, Warburton worked with him at Brentford so knows him well.

06 Jul 2016 19:33:07
Hemmings should never have been allowed to leave, he could be a star in the making, in the right team, any more sources today?

06 Jul 2016 09:41:39
I've just noticed that Hearts defender Jordan McGhee is going on loan to Middlesbrough next season with Middlesbrough also being given first choice if they'd like to sign him up permanently or not. is it just me that is seeing this as yet another case of decent potential player going down south on a free/ cheap transfer? I know it won't bother many as it is Hearts, however if we want our game to improve shouldn't we do our best to hold onto promising players? if an English premiership side want one of your players, chances are they are very promising.

06 Jul 2016 09:59:46
I agree but we can't compete with English championship never mind the epl.
in saying that i'd like to make them pay over the odds for players its not like they haven't got the cash.

06 Jul 2016 10:28:53
We just got a promising player from liverpool on the cheap it works both ways.

06 Jul 2016 10:11:27
Any young player should have buy back option and sell on clause inserted into contracts.

06 Jul 2016 11:56:06
Bigtrfc, Yeah quite right we done it to Liverpool, However Rossiter was never in their plans, they wanted to force him into signing a new contract as they knew no one would pay the Ā£8mil compensation.

06 Jul 2016 15:18:44
onlyshowaround, how do u know that he wasn't in their plans I have friends and family in Liverpool and most of them are raging that we managed to get their youth captain and rated him the next gerrard! not saying that he is that good just that's how a lot of their fans seen him!
and yes we done it to Liverpool but enland do it a lot more to us! plus they have the cash so we should do what selik do and overcharge for our players!

06 Jul 2016 06:56:55
Anyone know what time (gmt) the match is on today?

06 Jul 2016 07:34:40
12 midnight.

06 Jul 2016 05:19:12
On the subject of boycotting away games, I see where Dave king is coming from, but the question DK has to be ask why are prices increased for old firm fans? And can fan safety be guaranteed at Motherwell and Hibs if we draw them in the cup.

06 Jul 2016 09:40:45
Don't think the players would enjoy playing away with
no fans to back them, definately a non starter .

06 Jul 2016 10:30:55
I don't agree with boycotting away games as the team need our support but what i would boycott is the programmes, food outlets . don't buy a pie or a burger or anything let them be stuck with loads of food they can't sell.

06 Jul 2016 10:34:42
Anyone has the right to boycott if they want but let's face it, as I've said before if we were away on the last game of the season on a helicopter Sunday would a single fan really not want a ticket? Does anyone think we wouldn't want a full allocation of tickets for Celtic Park?

I'll happily to be going to a number of away games myself and SUPPORTING my club. No point in hypocrisy.

06 Jul 2016 00:09:33
People saying will grigg is signing, I genuinely don't see it happening ever, he's 11/ 10 to sign for hull and considering they have just been promoted to the EPL, they'll have plenty of money to spend and they'll get him for Ā£3m/ Ā£4m and we can't compete with bids like that unfortunately. I think we'll sign some average striker in Scotland already like Liam Boyce, Juanma. But I would personally like Kane Hemmings to come in to the team.

06 Jul 2016 09:47:12
We won't go for an spl player. And who said we had nooney? And who dais you need money for a good player? Whoever we bring in I'll be happy with as warburton is a smart man and already knows what it's like to be a ranger. I'd happily go into the new season with just a better defence than last year.

06 Jul 2016 15:23:55
dmccunnin?
you don't make much sense mate lol!
and can u remember how we struggled for goals when waggy got injured do you remember how poor we where attacking wise at the end of the season? ovcourse we need at least 1 more striker 1 really good one and have hardie as back-up to him and waggy.
