Dani Candeias to be signed by the weekend apparently

07 Jun 2017 05:09:30
When I read that Caixinha was after Agraand had Candieas as basically back up I wwatched footage of both and can honestly say that both look decent but you can never tell really I suppose. What I do know is that Candieas can play both Wings and can use both his feet. Watched clips of him whipping in crosses from both wings so I'll be happy if either one arrives.
One other question. If we go for Abella will he require a work permit?

07 Jun 2017 08:15:17
Replied to a post on Rumours page and Il do same for your benefit. A player will require a work permit (VISA) if they are foreign and from a non European country or a country which are in the signle market and allow free movement (Some of Scamdanavian countries)

Once the UK leaves the UK and the single market, free movement will cease and any foreigner who has come to the UK to work (football is a job) will require a VISA (work permit) to do so.

07 Jun 2017 15:54:20
Yes Abella will require a work Permit, he adds quality tho so it shouldn't be an issue.

06 Jun 2017 20:52:17
Paterson, Cummings and walker . 3 Scottish goodies who we should be looking to sign to add to the Mexican/ Portuguese bumpers. Throw in dorrans and we are in a good place.

06 Jun 2017 22:00:53
Mate we are already in a good place, much more optimism on these pages, and pedro is hopefully spending wisely

07 Jun 2017 06:05:30
It's going to be tough for Aiden Wilson Barjonas. Rudden. Burt. Diamond. and Hardie to get game time next Season. I think that we should try and loan these guys to either other SPFL teams OR let them experience and learn a different style by trying to loan them out to say the Dutch league similar to what Chelsea di albeit they basically own the Dutch Club. Out of all the youngsters I would like it if Caixinha kept Atayaki and Barjonas and prob one Striker who I don't know? I just don't think that loaning them to the Championship or Lge One up here foes tgem much good. Other SPFL Clubs would be the most realist option.

07 Jun 2017 07:47:43
Andy

Would agree mate no point loaning these players to championship clubs I can't see what good it would do. Ideally loaning them out to other premiership clubs for 6 months or so and see how they get on

07 Jun 2017 09:47:43
Unless the kid is extra special then small steps is best option. 6months guaranteed game time at lower level against men. Then progress to a competitive level where they have to first win an XI jersey then keep it. If the kid is good enough to go and play in Dutch league then they will be in our first team squad.

07 Jun 2017 10:23:20
Guys you need to remember we are entering the development lads into a big tourney this season and not in the normal development league.
Hopefully that will help development before looking at loaning or first team next season.

07 Jun 2017 13:06:32
I see Hardie got a couple of goals for the Scotland u21's last night

06 Jun 2017 19:46:45
Bears I'm I correct in thinking that when a team names their squad of 18 for a League Game we must include at least 1 player under the ag if 21? Or is it 23?
OR is it actually 2 players that must be included under the age of 21/ 23? If anyone knows let me know

06 Jun 2017 20:49:45
Pretty sure they did away with that rule when they revamped the league setup and created the development league.

06 Jun 2017 20:56:49
I think it's 2 under 23 one under 25 three under 27 before 25th of September and at leat one 38 year old but don't quote me

07 Jun 2017 15:53:24
It used to be match day squads had to contain at least 2 under 21 year olds or there may have been a rule for one of those to be under 23 if he was trained and developed by the club. Not 100% on that but as mentioned above I do believe the rules may have been relaxed a bit in recent seasons.

06 Jun 2017 19:40:12
Ok regarding our Colt Squad playing the likes of Man. Utd S. Lisbon B. Munich etc what do you guys think the attendances would be like? I genuinely think that a support of over 20k would attend Ibrox IF the ticket prices were a decent level. Thinking that £10 for an Adult and £5 for a kid.
Whats your thoughts in this Bears and wouldyou go u kknow that I definitely would.

06 Jun 2017 20:31:52
20k is a tad ambitious depends on when game is if its a midweek at ibrox maybe couple thousand if its a sat or a sun when 1st team isn't playing maybe a few more on the gate

06 Jun 2017 20:36:49
20k is little ambitious. I think £5 a ticket could work or perhaps under 10s in free with a paying adult

06 Jun 2017 23:16:48
Looking forward to it anyway I wonder if the squad can have X amount of senior players involved as they di in normal development games

07 Jun 2017 13:10:23
I actually quite fancy going to a few of the games and taking my sons along, providing the ticket prices are right

07 Jun 2017 15:51:42
Don't want to rain on your parade but are these friendly's not usually played behind closed doors, due to stewarding and policing issues and also is that not what, especially the big clubs, ask for, so as not to expose there youngsters to public scrutiny.

06 Jun 2017 18:20:52
A double for ryan hardie today in toulon tournament for scotland i hope pedro gives him a fair crack at the 1st team he deserves a chance.

06 Jun 2017 17:46:52
Who else is worried about us getting both of the Mexican players! I think that we will bag Pena but for some reason I think that we may miss out on Herrera.
Will we ever find out who is on this so called Panel?

06 Jun 2017 18:26:39
We will get them both

06 Jun 2017 20:27:54
Fraser Wishart is on the panel

06 Jun 2017 22:07:50
I'm sure both will get work permits sorted. Out of curiosity how did Celtic manage to get a permit for Eboue, I wouldn't have thought he would have had any international caps having only played a handful of games in Russia?

07 Jun 2017 13:11:56
Zikos, I think the younger players with potential get a more lenient approach

07 Jun 2017 15:55:42
If you have played adequate international games a work permit is automatically granted. If not you need apply and there's not usually a problem if you can argue that the player adds value to the Scottish game.

06 Jun 2017 16:58:02
So with a good few deals starting to come to life I'm thinking about our starting 11 next season

Seen a lot of comments about Mckay going personally I think he will flourish under Pedro with quality around him

Here's my team - what's your thoughts?

4-2-3-1 formation

GK Foddy

RB Tav
CB Alves
CB Cardozo
LB Wallace

DM Pena
DM Jack

RM?
AM Kranjcar
LM Mckay

ST Herrera

Potentially young Dalcio would fit in at RM but I'd prefer someone else

Any suggestions or comments?

{Ed039's Note - how do you know you would prefer someone other than Dalcio, a lot of slating the boy having never seen the boy kick a ball, give him a chance I say, if he is rotten fair enough but it's a loan so it's a low risk signing)

06 Jun 2017 17:35:06
McKay won't be there next season and do think Jack will be just a squad player.

Forthingham

?
Alves
Cordoso
Jose Abel love

Dorrans
Pena
Rossister

Weiss
Herrera
?

06 Jun 2017 18:11:22
I agree with vanbastens team and about jack

06 Jun 2017 18:15:41
You do realise Pena isn't a defensive midfielder.

06 Jun 2017 15:19:20
Bears it seems like Pedro is going to stick with Wallace and Beerman at LB and may go with Tav and Hodson at RB unless we get Abella. Anyways heres my starting 11 in a 4-1-4-1.
Foderingham

Abella
Alves
Cardoso
Beerman

Jack

Dalcio
Pena
Dorrans
Agra

Herrera

Subs: Ailnwick. Wallace. Wilson.
Rossiter. Atayaki. Krancjar. Garner.

Can see Pedro rotating squad depending on opponent so that players like Bates Barjonas Miller and hopefully we will see. some of the other young forwards get game time such as Rudden Diamond. or Hardie.
I do think that we will have to loan out some of these lads as I cannot see them getting as much time on the pitch due to the size of the squad. Its unfortunate but they are still pretty young.

07 Jun 2017 15:35:00
Assuming he stays fit then Rossiter will play in midfield alongside Jack with Pena further up the park. McKay will be playing his football elsewhere and I do wonder whether Krancjar will be in the starting eleven.

07 Jun 2017 15:38:27
Pena isn't defensive minded and Rossiter will play holding role if fit. I think will go if we get a 1M+ offer.

06 Jun 2017 16:43:55
Ryan Hardie on the score sheet for Scotland today, should be given a chance?

06 Jun 2017 16:00:44
Dorrens want rangers move wages agreed fee big problem

{Ed039's Note - you really shouldn't be discussing personal terms without having an agreement with selling club)

06 Jun 2017 16:06:09
Ed on daily record form he said wages won't be a problem know he needs to take massive cut

{Ed039's Note - that's fine I am sure it won't be but we can't have agreed terms with him without agreeing a transfer with Norwich ...... technically anyway)

06 Jun 2017 17:05:11
Wages have not been agreed but Dorrans wants the move and is willing to accept lower wages. The hold up is the fact sheff we'd have shown an interest and will to offer 1.2mill for his services where we were looking at 700k.

06 Jun 2017 13:32:24
So Whyte is not guilty at all. Ok then. Surprise surprise.

06 Jun 2017 14:26:17
Joscro

Don't really think anyone is surprised at the verdict. Whyte has spent most of his life doing this sort of thing and gets away with it. The whole sorry episode has highlighted how much of a shambles that was Rangers that allowed someone like Whyte to take advantage. It also once again highlights the disgraceful way Murray ran the club. It dispelled the myth about McCoist being a supporter of the club and has shown him up for the money grabbing mercenary he is. All these men walk away Scot free while we Rangers fans look for answers and justice we clearly aren't going to get

06 Jun 2017 14:32:06
The disgrace of Scotland

07 Jun 2017 15:16:10
What justice? Rangers would have gone bust under Murray unless the bank got their £18mill back. If it had been put into receivership by HMRC the assetts would have been sold at going rate. Ibrox would be a block of flats or an ASDA. The club would have been gone. Whyte did everyone a favour.

06 Jun 2017 13:20:43
Whyte not guilty! Apparently jury took a whole 2 hours after a trial lasting weeks.

06 Jun 2017 12:56:35
Dalcio signed.

06 Jun 2017 11:58:10
Is this all rubbish stirring about doubt over the Mexicans having played enough recently for their country to get the permits?
Don't think anything would be raised at all by the press if it was the other mob.
Rangers are confident they will be granted tomorrow at the meeting.

06 Jun 2017 09:57:21
I wish Pedro would get his finger out. It's been a week since we signed anyone! :-)

06 Jun 2017 10:28:00
We can't sign anyone officially with a transfer fee in till this Friday 9th June. That's when the Transfer window opens. Regarding Carlos Pena and Eduardo Herrera the pair will need to satisfy a three-man tribunal panel to obtain a work permit, which is booked in for tomorrow Wednesday 7th June. Despite the fact the pair have not met the criteria of playing in 75 per cent of their national side’s games in the last two years. The club are confident they will cut through the red tape due to fact they are high quality players that will enhance Rangers and Scottish football. Fabio Cardoso 1.3 Million Transfer and Dalcio one year loan deal will hopefully go through on Friday. Graham Dorrans and Daniel Candeias still on going.

06 Jun 2017 10:46:07
Abomb. It just isn't good enough mate, WHERE ARE THE MASONIC HANDSHAKES WHEN YOU NEED THEM!

06 Jun 2017 10:52:02
Thanks that actually answers a question of mine, my question was how are players coming to Glasgow and no official announcement- but if the window is not open they'll just be here to look around and get a medical. I knew the Mexican boys were still caught in red tape but was wondering about the Portugal 🇵🇹 guys as there Europeans.

And I suppose we can't sign Dorrans anyway before Friday as well hopefully the club and Norwich can come to a agreement before then so it's a forgone conclusion on Friday and it's not like he's going to need a look around Glasgow being Scottish.

I was starting to get a wee bit confused but I think that clears some of that up.

06 Jun 2017 17:50:15
Can u tie a bow only show around? 😃

06 Jun 2017 18:45:20
Onlyshow you can't have a masonic handshake with those bead jangling muppets at SFA lol i think we will get both these boys as they will definitely improve us and sell on could be profitable too?
