I found a video about a simulation to figure out how rangers might perform in the premier league. Worth a watch but a very disappointing result.

Am quiet sure if rangers and Celtic got to the EPL
Thay both would attract more high standard of players
And it's only a computer game the English don't want us in because thay no rangers and Celtic would still be successful and the revenue would be great for the club

If the Old Firm were both playing in the EPL there is no doubt they would be as big as the top four down there. The stature of both clubs and the riches that come with playing there would be a draw for any top player. Unfortunately it won't happen so it's not up for debate.
Would love to see it as both clubs irrespective of current situation are too big for a poor Scottish league. Both are massive clubs and would improve the EPL without doubt but are restricted in a lot of ways. Unless there was a massive change with the likes of a British top tier we can only dream.

the money we would get from tv and just being in that league we could get almost any player! we would still be behind the top 6 teams for at least three years but after that with our fan base and all the money from the epl we could easily be challenging for the title within 10 years all the clubs down south know that.

What is going on at our club ment to have director football in by end last week new manager wanted to be in by monday tuesday at latest to prepare for celtic match yet we still not got anyone in so far if the club are not prepared to pay conpension to clubs for there manager or director of football why bother going for them in the first plus due dilgence should be done first on the targets

do we have to have all this in house fighting we are all entilited to have an opinion dosent makes us wrong or right but if you post on here what you have heard it is a rumour till it does or does not happen
So regardless of what manager we do get we all as rangers fans need to get behind him and show support buy being vocal and buy buying season tickets to support the club in rebuilding to challenge the great unwashed from the east but still not buy strips to that fat rat is no longer making the money he does now
Only the people on the board no hom much DK has put in and don't you think if he was not putting money in and trying to sort stuff out right the other board members would be trying to oust him?

you actually made a great point there as king isn't the only rangers man on the board and if nothing was being done the we would know about it.
as far as i can tell king wants the fat rats contracts ripped up and to say that isn't what is holding us back is just stupidity as there is millions of pounds each year in the merchandise side of things, money that could be used to get us the quality that we need to get back challenging celtic.

Against who and at what level? Most of these guys were 'reasonable' at championship or worse level. And no one was actually chasing any of them!

bil 72 they as a team played a lot better last year than they have this year and its nothing to do with what level we where playing at as half the teams we dropped points to aren't any better than the top half of the championship but as a team they have underperformed this year.
i do agree some of the player need replaced like our cb's . would be good to see tav come onto a game again aswell as wallace as both have let their team mates down time and time again but are capable of much higher standards.
our midfield i'd say we need a cdm but have plenty of tellent that can go forward.
sttack ; i'd have another striker or two at better quality than the ones we have at the moment.

I'm just wondering if the interviewer's have taken into account the Portuguese fellas performance history? It's all good and we'll talking a good game (Warburton) was a good example of talking a good game but, he couldn't back it up on the pitch. I don't think the Portuguese fella has a good cv at all and I would prefer someone British imo.

I know it's a risk but, if the dof position is filled then why not give rowet a go. He's currently unattached to any club and I'm sure he could have some sort of performance clause in his contract. As long as the new manager is more tactically capable than Warburton then that's a start.

I'm not a big fan of foreign managers. My point was if your going to take a risk with the new manager then I think a brit would be best. I would love it if rangers had the chops to get Gary Monk but I doubt that could ever happen.
