How many times do the supporters say the performances are unacceptable?

How many times does the manager have to say that the performances are unacceptable?

Before any changes are made - it remains disappointing that some feel the need to defend the indefensible!

07 Nov 2016 06:51:37
It seems like consistency is a big problem. I've been hesitant to criticise the team too much but I do feel that even though we have lots of possession and play good football at times we are just completely toothless and are in capable to breaking teams down.

I don't know if its because we move from back to front too slow and by the time we get up its a brick wall or if its just down to not having the quality of creative players to find a pass or poor movement to find some space.

Something needs to get done its nearly Christmas. I can understand not winning against the top performing teams in the league but we need to win these types of games if we have any chance of Europe.

There is no point in signing someone in January unless they are special but don't think we can afford that kind of player.

07 Nov 2016 10:22:06
When I see McKay criticising the opposition for being too tough I wonder what sort of wimps we have in our team! Get stuck in and don't let the opposition intimidate you!

07 Nov 2016 10:23:46
It would help if we had a leader, someone that can drive the player on for 90 minutes!

07 Nov 2016 11:23:29
TOMUSA I agree about lack of a leader when u watch gers u wouldn't know who captain was. We have always had vocal captains greig butcher gough. Big Wallace isn't that sort of player.

07 Nov 2016 11:32:35
My Grannie used to say 'an ounce of encouragement gets better results than a ton of criticism". Maybe some people should try that.

07 Nov 2016 13:59:05
Salen

Oh right so it's our fault on here that the team are doing so bad.

07 Nov 2016 19:57:20
Maybe get your granny in to gee them a wee pep talk then Salen eh?

06 Nov 2016 22:12:19
Games like today are all part of the journey; no its not good enough and no it doesn't look great but this team are not the finished product.

People keep saying this isn't a Rangers team, you are right and that is because we have had a fraction of the money invested in previous years spent on them.

You can blame the manager and rightly so for his poor repeated tactics, however he took over a team that was embarrassed by motherwell in the play offs not to long ago and he had to rebuild.

We are in the second season with this new management team and they are still working it out.

The players need to pull their socks up and play a full game of football, which is longer than 45mins last time I checked.

Blame falls at Warburtons feet but it has to be shared by the players who are inconsistent to say the least.

Second is still very much on the cards and I look forward to seeing what we do in January.

06 Nov 2016 22:32:39
That's a fair post bob. I for one can't understand why we are good one week and poor the next. Same starting XI and same tactics. Too many today were awful. But that's not really an excuse though, is it? That team today should have had the beating of County, by putting on a show or by the ugly route. It shouldn't matter. I want to believe there is more to this team but as many have said, perhaps this level is too much for them. The manager has to take some responsibility for the recruitment as I don't feel we got a better calibre of player in to what we already had. You could argue the toss over thon halfwit and Niko but in all reality now we are left with a mediocre bunch week in week out.
The keeper needs dropped, he can't inspire confidence in his back line or the rest of the team for that matter.
Anyway on to the next game, have a feeling that's going to be a line I say a lot this season!

06 Nov 2016 22:53:30
It's going to be a long season. Players don't appear to be up to the task. Can't finish off teams. Management can't seem to make game changing substitutions. Whose to blame? We need investment but even without it we should still have enough strength by a country mile to see off the majority of teams in the league. Unfortunately the investment can't happen until the shackles of Ashley are removed completely. Just wish we could put up more of a fight and play with a bit of pride because as it is just now it's simply not good enough.

07 Nov 2016 10:32:57
We need to stop trying to play pretty football in games against teams like Ross County. Yesterday we allowed them to bully us! A Souness or Smith team would have had that team for breakfast!

07 Nov 2016 10:51:34
A Souness or smith team would have cost 10 times what ours has! so comparisons between them is largely unfair.

07 Nov 2016 11:21:57
I feel the recruitment was done pretty well except the defenders farce.
still think we should play attacking football but in a 4-4-2 let's more of our best players (midfielders) on the park.
there is way too much passing between our worst players (our defence) .
playing out from the back is the way to go but what we are doing is playing around at the back and not going anywhere fast and defence doesn't look like they can handle little bit of pressure on the ball.
I hate being negative it really goes against everything I belive in but these tactics are not working and must be changed 4-3-3 only works when u have the confidence and quality to pull it off.

p. s. for me garner was worse than a man down that whole game.

07 Nov 2016 20:00:51
Think it's funny James Stirling how guys like you don't like us criticising the manager but it's OK to slaughter a player signed by the very same manager! Give Warburton time but garner gets 2 month? # contradicting.

06 Nov 2016 21:50:59
Monty pie man . I usually agree with the majority of posts you send, however I feel you are well off the mark with your last one. Watching that 2nd half today was embarrassing to say the least. We had a throw in at the edge of the county penalty box 2nd half, then a few touches later our goalkeeper had the ball at his feet. We have no ideas, backwards and sideways and I'll be honest Warburton looks clueless.

07 Nov 2016 09:55:09
Should go for McInnes, at least Aberdeen have put in a challenge to Celtic, we can't, he would identify more suitable players and he is better tactics wise than Warburton.

07 Nov 2016 11:23:28
I like mcinnes I do but we have to give the manager the rest of this season as we will not win it anyways.

06 Nov 2016 21:46:12
Realisticly 2nd was the best we could get this season and correct me if I'm wrong but we are still in with a chance of 2nd so let's not panic and let's not say such and such is rubbish blah blah after saying last week the same guy was great jeezo it was never going to be easy teams are always going to raise there game against the famous glasgow rangers.

06 Nov 2016 22:45:55
00se85

It's the "journey" as well - 2nd may well be acheivable - but?

We need to be clearly deserving of it - 2 points out of 6 from bottom club .?

06 Nov 2016 20:55:59
Warburton is a loaf of fresh baked bread nice and hot and tasty when just baked but after a while every slice tastes the same then goes stale and moldy and doesn't last long enough till you bin it.

06 Nov 2016 21:37:39
Warburton is an average manager who was found out last season and is being found out this season. No wonder Brentford got rid of them.

06 Nov 2016 22:59:55
Biffo ime unlike yourself in my thoughts on mw, i look at it the guy came to a championship club that had just failed in its hope for promotion (under ally) mw got us to the cup final, and we won it, mw got us promoted, then took us to another cup final (scottish) then we reached the semi final (league cup) we are currently sitting top three in the top league, so ime happy enough on that for now, i would have bit the hand off some if we had been offered this two seasons ago, its going to take time maybe another season or two before we honestly start thinking about the league tittle, but it will happen imho, i just wish some of our support would show a bit of patience.

07 Nov 2016 08:56:09
Brentford didn't "get rid of him". He didn't sign a new contract due to a change in scouting that he didn't agree with, Brentford wanted him to stay, so did most of the fans too.

07 Nov 2016 10:46:10
Brentford sign their players based on stats and Warburton didn't want to work that way that's why he left.

07 Nov 2016 10:53:17
Which is just as well for Brentford given his "success" in the market.

07 Nov 2016 11:28:49
I don't think we should be getting rid of a manager just because we are having a bit of hard time but maybe we should put banners up saying 4-3-3 doesn't work. as it doesn't then maybe he will listen to the fans.
as I've said all year we will still dinish second and get into Europe and as for investment we won't get that until the fat rat is away.

07 Nov 2016 11:43:15
Thepoetic, because Rodgers is amazing in the transfer market. Liverpool fans cry themselves to sleep with the amount of money he spent on wasted players. Warburton however has been successful to an extent, Gray, Odubajo, Tarkowski, Dallas, Grigg, Forshaw.

07 Nov 2016 12:05:02
False equivalency aka the Rangers fans only hope.

Side note, how are those players you mentioned doing for Rangers this season?

07 Nov 2016 12:14:40
Warburton hasn't been that bad at Rangers with his Transfers. O'hal is coming onto a game, garner always puts a shift in, Windass and Holt are the best 130k Rangers have ever spent. Rossiter looks like a cracking player, Halliday on a free is good business too. What transfers (minus that of Barton) haven't worked?

07 Nov 2016 12:34:35
Rossiter gets better every game he doesn't play.

And you're correct, Halliday would walk into most Scottish championship teams. Windass is decent but he isn't anywhere near the level most Rangers fans think, although to be fair he's being compared with Holt, Halliday and the like so it's not ridiculous that he stands out.

The only thing more shocking than Barton getting 20k a week to train with the development squad, is paying nearly two million for Joe Garnee to train with the first team squad.

The straws you are clutching are admirable.

If your manager had (half) a clue, he could have bought Henmings, Stewart, Crawford and Alston for the cost of Joe Garner, and he'd still have had change to buy an SPFL level Centre Back. He's recruited poorly and denying the fact doesn't help you. Truth is, you're only fooling yourself.

07 Nov 2016 20:04:46
Really sensible for a Tim I'm gutted but actually couldn't agree more.

06 Nov 2016 20:47:43
Unbelievable. Some of you punters. Are you serious? Same folk that were delirious after Killie game are now at the other end of the spectrum. Centre yourself and breath. My word. Hahahaha

You would think we got pumped 6-1 today. Come on man be realistic. It's a marathon not a sprint. We are rebuilding and a point away from home is better than nothing. You can be disappointed, I am but the rage and despair on here is frightening. I'm sure the under performing players know who they are and I'm sure they are working on it. Yes some changes need to be made but I back MW 100%. If we don't secure 2nd place then I'll start doubting. Some crazed fans on here. I don't know if I should laugh or cry. Jeez. Relax :)

06 Nov 2016 21:29:37
Montypiefan

Do you actually watch the games? Draws against ross county twice, Kilmarnock, Hamilton and St Johnstone is that acceptable for a team with the 2nd biggest budget? Only 5 wins out of 12 and as good as 14 points behind Celtic with not even a third of the season done. Unfortunately you are one of those fans who accepts mediocrity and thinks it's acceptable.

07 Nov 2016 08:28:20
Even the players say it "not acceptable- we will learn and do better next time . "

Even the management team say it!

Have Ranger supporters actually disagreed with this post or is just Celtic supporters?

07 Nov 2016 08:30:43
Not sure what the players do at training which makes them think they are so good (playing themselves? ) - but "not cutting it" in matches!

07 Nov 2016 09:59:49
All we hear is 2nd biggest budget, doesn't matter how much if the manager doesn't get better quality in than he has, imo he could have got Bradshaw (or even Lafferty) in for up front and that would have been an improvement right away. It's about recognising who to identify and making the right choices.

07 Nov 2016 10:46:36
I miss the days where people didn't care about transfer fees or players wages.

07 Nov 2016 11:30:37
I am well p*ssed off bout that performance but still trust us to finish second and I can't ask for more than that.

I hoped the killie game was a turning point because we played well but inconsistency strikes again.

06 Nov 2016 20:46:41
Just want to say am getting fed up with this we prepared well we are in a good place a think the hat is using buzz words and thinking we are all daft buying into his way of thinking today and most of the games we have played so far just simply isn't acceptable a think he should to buy into what we are saying and wanting thanks mark and Davie times up go and don't forget that you done your best but it was in vain your both not good enough to
Manage a team and a club of our stature

07 Nov 2016 12:21:31
wasn't he raging as the rest of us yesterday! he would have been ripping into them after that performance don't worry about that.
there must come a point when the manager turns around and says right that doesn't work and actually change it.
but seriously it wasn't the managers fault yesterday as the players where just shocking and couldn't string 2 passes together.
we made ross county look like a good team when in fact they are just terrible and a half descent performance from us would have been good enough to win by 3 goals easily, . but the players didn't show up at all and none of them impressed me at any part of the pitch.

08 Nov 2016 00:18:36
But at the end of the day the buck stops with the manager it's the same at all levels. He picks the team and it's his job to get results.

06 Nov 2016 15:54:57
All the hype about o'halleran playing every week well today prove to me he's not got it. windass not for me, holt and halliday ok players just. and last but not least, barry mckay what a waste of a shirt. and the goalkeeper needs changed.

06 Nov 2016 20:48:39
So that's it for him? One average performance and that's it, in the bin? Geez peace.

06 Nov 2016 20:56:52
Yep sorry mate am
Not accepting anything less than 2nd this year and a cup they don't have it in them
Pal.

07 Nov 2016 10:44:55
If we keep Wallace as captain we won't get 2nd and the chances of us beating Celtic if we are unfortunate enough to meet them in a cup competition is zero! We don't have a leader on the park. He is not a winner. We saw it yesterday, five minutes to go, he should be driving the team forward for a winner and he plays the ball back to Fotheringham!

The guy is too nice to be captain. Yes he deserves significant respect for staying with us during the past few seasons but that does not make him a leader.

07 Nov 2016 12:24:14
big jim the perfomances have been poor most of this season but windass has been good in almost every game he has played and seriously a boy with a great touch and great pace and still a boy is a waste of a shirt.
was waste of my time just replying to that pathetic comment!
I have had a dig at this performance aswell mate but no need for that garbage.

06 Nov 2016 20:22:46
Sorry guys but the hat must gtf. I'm sick of his pish, we pissed well, trained well, we ate well, we slept well, we are in a good place, good shape total shizer . What a total croc o turd. Get big ek in January and get the rubbish out garner, Halliday, even holt is not up to it I'm afraid. What a fekin mess no heart or guts.

06 Nov 2016 20:35:18
Settled down you. Couple of paracetamol and a glass of water. You should feel awrite in the morning.

06 Nov 2016 20:48:50
Take Mary's advice just forget about today it's just a glitch. Remember there is no big gap between us, it's just a bad day at the office.

06 Nov 2016 19:18:24
Football should be like a bag of revels, put your hand in the bag and don't know what's coming out. But to our opponents we are more like a bag of malteasers, same every time.

06 Nov 2016 19:50:35
Albertz. that was beautiful. Eric cantona couldn't have put it any better 😂👍🏿.

06 Nov 2016 22:35:51
Brilliant. A breath of fresh air after reading all the doom and gloom. Nice one Albertz.

06 Nov 2016 19:01:08
Was at the game today and can say half our team ain't rangers class. too many getting game time when they should be benched. other than holt. Tavenier. haliday any bids come in for our players then let's take the money. county should have won today. mid table team at best unfortunatly.

06 Nov 2016 20:26:24
What exactly does Holt do? All he does is run about. Too easily pushed off the ball, doesn't score and hardly sets anything up.

06 Nov 2016 20:34:34
This team is rank rotten with some very average players. As good as 14 points behind Celtic after 11 games. Didn't expect to win title but to be so far behind with not even a third of the season gone is unacceptable. Not one of our players would make their bench and I doubt McInnes or Neilson would want many. Warburton is clearly out his depth and unless something changes then it could be a good few years before we win the title. Even worse some people on here seem to think it's ok to be as bad and think the manager is doing a good job.

06 Nov 2016 20:37:50
Let's just take a deep breath. Chill. Should've easily won that today. A bit more composure in front of goal and its 4/ 5 nil before they got their goal.

06 Nov 2016 21:33:43
4 or 5 nil! Aye right mate that team couldn't score 4 or 5 against any team in the league. We are rank rotten and it's laughable how delusional you are. You remind me of the infamous Iraqi information officer when Saddam was in charge.

07 Nov 2016 00:13:54
Apart from Holt? Wee man's been rotten for weeks Hallyday as well what's big crooks got to do to get a run in team, he's the only defensive mid we've got! Apart from rossiter who looks like he could be the new Andy webster.

07 Nov 2016 06:05:29
what is Rangers class?

when we were paying inflated wages by the crooks in suits?

i think you mean rangers heart, we will never have that class again.

simple we are a shadow of the team we were with the heart of a huge club.

we are now a sleeping giant.

06 Nov 2016 18:48:34
Very poor show today. No fight. Windlass can create, so can McKay but he did not. The number of blocked crosses was incomprehensible. They seemed to be crossing OK it gets blocked, a shy or a corner. Burke was puting in perfect crosses all day.

Biggest concern is lack of fitness. Halliday not at the races and Wags spend too much time in Greggs.

2 points from 6 playing the bottom team. Says it all. Hopefully riot act is delivered on Monday, and a window for Joey.

06 Nov 2016 18:04:56
Come back Barton all is forgiven! What is going on? Five league draws means 10 points dropped. Sure we are third but so what? I don't understand what is going on. I'd like to see Rossiter and Crooks play as I've no idea if they'd be better. Thought O'Halloran and Garner had finally clicked but it seems not. Gilks, Hodson, Wilson and the aforementioned must play now surely with Tav moved forward again. Top 4 seems our best hope at this rate. Mr King and co - time to show us the colour of your money!

06 Nov 2016 18:34:16
Whether they can add to the team is anybody's guess. The only injury I can recall in an actual match is Dodoo's. It might well be that this is as good as it gets with the players we have, be it ability or attitude. I wonder at times if this is actually Rangers I'm watching. The expectation of winning has gone.

06 Nov 2016 19:21:41
Yes better players required although not expecting the board to splash the cash any time soon.

Tav, Foderingham, Waghorn for example are all decent enough players but not of the quality required to even challenge in a mediocre SPFL.

And I hate saying this as a bear that also supports Scotland but Lee Wallace possibly coming up against Raheem Sterling on Friday night frightens the hell out of me.

06 Nov 2016 20:41:31
It seems more like most Gers fans on here have a bad dose of bipolar. It's not the end of the world. I'm disappointed but I'm realistic and I'll take that point. Could be crucial come the end of the season.

06 Nov 2016 21:34:56
Montypiefan

Your right mate that point could be the difference between finishing 6th or 7th come the split.

06 Nov 2016 18:03:36
Same old story. Same old rubbish performance and same old pish being spouted by our players. "that wasn't us today" Barry Mckay. Away a burry yer heed ya ejit!

06 Nov 2016 17:52:59
think rangers have found there level Pants.

06 Nov 2016 17:46:42
This might be a mute point in all of this but going to make it anyway.

Anyone else surprised how we haven't actually put in a decent 90 minutes in this league since kick off at Ibrox against Hamilton?

Getting a little repetitive from MW. What he said afterwards today was "Poor second half again".

Like the guy as we all do but, does he think he is proving his worth with a few good first half performances over a period of 12 games?

06 Nov 2016 18:40:25
I think the bread man is going stale.

06 Nov 2016 19:15:54
Mcc the knife - Aye. Bread Man Walking if things keep up like this.

06 Nov 2016 20:28:53
The manager has been found out and it's little wonder Brentford got rid of him. We have an average side with some very ordinary well paid players. The sad thing is that some people on here seem to be happy with the utter dross Warburton is serving up.

06 Nov 2016 17:13:53
That brought it to a new level of dross today. Very average players not even bursting a gut to try and win. Time to hang up your hat Mr. Warburton.

06 Nov 2016 17:41:59
Gordyboy Warburton is the new Ronnie Dalia. Celtic have brought in Brendon Rodgers and he has transformed Celtic. He has spent a bit of money and has 1 or 2 players on £35 to £40k a week. When Dalia was there the results were erratic. There was no fear about playing Zceltic. Now it's completely different. No one wants to play them. What is the difference. New manager and £5mill investment in players. If Rangers want to challenge, a much more experienced manager and 5 or 6 quality players need to come in. Unless that happens it won't be 10 in a row it might be 25 or 20! Rangers are not going to challenge just because they are Rsngers, they need much much better players and a better manager.

06 Nov 2016 18:57:08
SuperCooper shall soon sort your post out Johnnymac😂.

06 Nov 2016 17:08:55
Sadly this is becoming "normal" service unlike Kilmarnock game last week

Must get rid of "dead wood" to move forward and fear management team simply not up to it .

06 Nov 2016 17:35:23
If we got rid of all the dead wood and those that are not fit to wear the Rangers colours we would be lucky if we had eleven players to field!

06 Nov 2016 17:37:49
Very disappointing performance today. Only positive was our goal, good old fashioned header in the Colin Jackson mould
. Both Miller and Gardner failed to convert in the first half when we were on top and we cannot afford that. I am supporting the manager fully and believe we can and will finish second and qualify for Europe. Would like to see Crooks get a chance. Did not see the Kilmarnock game last week, hope someone comments on MOH performance today compared to last week.

06 Nov 2016 18:52:29
When did we sign a player called Gardner?

06 Nov 2016 17:08:06
It's simple we did not want to win today for what ever reason . my opinion is some of these players think there bigger than the jersey.

06 Nov 2016 17:02:17
Another disappointing outing - 2 points from 6 with Ross County

Sorry but forget patience this is simply not good enough.

If some players don't pull the finger out it will be more than Joey on way out!

06 Nov 2016 16:18:29
Not much to be added to previous comments. There is something fundamentally wrong at Ibrox, and we are constantly looking for a fix.
I'm being to think our situation is not going to get better, even in the long term. Our financial structure is a disaster. DK is not capable of turning things around, despite our massive input.
I have had enough of all his false dawns and the manager needs to be totally honest.
For the first time, this week, he has openly stated that we cannot survive without European football, but if we continue with this non investment policy, the only European football our players will see is a game on Costa Brava beach with family and friends.

06 Nov 2016 16:12:01
Lucky in the end to escape with a point and just shocking! Tav, Gardiner, Windass not to mention the keeper were absolutely terrible and watching that was like pulling teeth😡😡😡 No positives at all😰😰.

06 Nov 2016 17:41:44
I though that Tav was better than a number of players today including our excuse for a captain. It is no wonder we are struggling when we don't have a leader on the Park. The keeper looked nervous from the start. Kiernan, for such a big guy, just does not compete the way he should do and Wallace was given the run around by Chris Burke.

We didn't have a midfield! Holt is no more than Championship standard and it shows, Gardner is not a lone striker, he needs a goal scorer alongside him and Miller is done. When it comes to needing to change things and put on some subs, it is the same old story, two of Warburton's favourites, McKay, another Championship player and Waghorn, who looks like he wants to be somewhere else!

Maybe we can get Red Bull to invest when we play Leipzig. That is about our only hope of finishing top 2 this season!

06 Nov 2016 14:41:40
Normal service resumed.

06 Nov 2016 15:26:01
To be honest thought Ross county played a shocker today they really blew Opportunities to put you to sword.

06 Nov 2016 14:25:43
Can't believe the slating of windass everytime he got the ball he was fouled so not much he can do about that.

06 Nov 2016 14:31:49
Didn't get involved enough and was out the game for long periods. Not the worst by far though.

06 Nov 2016 14:45:37
My hearts in my mouth when fod gets ball played back to him . Tav didn't look interested either lost ball a few times and didn't even run back and as for waghorn he looks like he's eating pies for breakfast.

06 Nov 2016 16:57:09
foderingham has never lost a goal from a mistake so a don't know why your hearts in your mouth. County just like their Highland counterparts caley are only out to hurt people shocking tackles out there today.

06 Nov 2016 17:43:30
Agreed Cee, the Ross County strategy of taking out anyone that went past them was shocking but none of our players today wanted to get involved. That wouldn't have happened with a SOuness or Smith team.

06 Nov 2016 18:59:17
Away you go cee stop trying to deflect from our downfalls, wasn't a bad tackle in that game! Few cynical trips when we were breaking but big difference from hurting people we need to man up bunch of big blouses on the park.

06 Nov 2016 19:55:04
Cee it's only a matter of time before fod is caught out hope it doesn't happen but think it will happen.

06 Nov 2016 14:19:05
words fail me today watching that today, absolutely rotten, midfield were missing in action, all 6 attackers couldn't muster a decent shot on goal, Waghorns touch was pathetic, MOH is just rotten and nobody can convince me other wise . And what really annoys me is that with 5 minutes extra time there was no urgency at all to try and push up and grab a winner .

Interested to know why the big boy crooks can't seem to get any game time, heard nothing but good things about him and even though the game was totally over by the time he came on in the cup against QOS he looked exactly what we need in the middle of the park, collected it deep played one twos up the park and pushed the whole team forward, something has to change because this simply isn't good enough, one decent display against killie just doesn't cut the mustard.

I'm lost for words to explain the level that we played today without making a total a55 of myself! I ain't going to slate Warbs as I'll keep those thoughts to myself but the question is if we played so well last week why change? Fod was a riot today! Kiernan and Hill back to square one! Wallace looked five yards off the pace! Midfield had no spark and Windass gave the ball away more than hit a Rangers player! Up front the chances we missed was embarrassing at best!

We need to change and wither that be at the top I don't know as I think what Warbs has done to get us here and the structure he has built can't be knocked, but, we seem one dimensional at best and when things don't click we have no other plan!

Teams now think/ know they have a chance with us and it's early days yet I know with being back in the top division but surely we are better than Ross County or the other teams we've dropped points against which allegedly we should be guaranteed 3 points!

I think we need to get back to the drawing board and either freshen up and start giving others a chance that are on the fringe of playing or have a total revamp of the formation and play a different style of football!

We had the same team as last week. I don't understand his substitutions change players but keep the same formation. waghorn doesn't seem interested to me and mckay is so predictable. Shocking 2nd half performance. Hanging on at the end.

06 Nov 2016 14:05:12
There seems to be no one in the midfield that can link the play with the strikers, holt was shocking, Halliday average and windass average. Need some creativity in the midfield, they get the ball in the cb position, pass to the full backs, to the keeper to the full backs and punt.

06 Nov 2016 13:59:47
How long do we put up with this? The whole spectrum of teams, from relegation candidates to title contenders, have figured out Warburton's "system" and the man is either too stubborn or too clueless to change it.

Let's not forget the Championship teams figured it out eventually last season also.

06 Nov 2016 14:27:30
Until the manager is changed you can forget about ever challenging for the league. Appallingly once again today and could even force a save out of their keeper second half. Players show no urgency and no creativity. Absolute dross again today.

06 Nov 2016 14:52:13
It is ok saying, change the manager but who do we get instead? Surely we wouldn't stoop so low as to go for Billy Davies and McInnes has done nothing at Aberdeen and his team bottles it against Celtic every bit as much as our lot. We need a Souness type. A manager that is a winner and will send his team out to win at all costs. We have a bunch of gutless cowards in the team at present and we don't have a captain.

Kiernan is a big lad but he gets outmuscled, we don't have a ball winner in midfield, we have nom idea how good Crooks is because he doesn't get a game, Rossiter appears to be permanently injured, Wallace is now being seen as just another run of the mill player, Waghorn is not interested, Miller is done, and it is the same old tactics every week.

06 Nov 2016 15:05:28
TOMUSA

Aberdeen beat Celtic twice last season going to be a very long time before we do that.

06 Nov 2016 15:23:49
Frank de boars available lol, seems a lot of players going backward this season either have lost faith of Warburton system or no capable to upping the game for the Scottish premiership if being honest apart from one or two teams is not much better than Sunday league.

06 Nov 2016 15:42:45
Just imagine if we could get someone like de Boer.

06 Nov 2016 13:56:09
After that performance today we looked terrible. Is it me or Is waghorn getting fatter by the week? Also a think Barrie McKay has found his level same as waghorn, kernain and big fod. Would get Matt Gilks in goals. Major changes need made in my eyes. Can't see money getting invested in January don't trust king at all. Just feel all the rangers fans follow them everywhere in there thousands and get **** all in return.

06 Nov 2016 14:02:48
Totally agree, another weak performance. No fight, determination or desire. No Rangers player stuck out for me today. I think Warburton must go back to basics. No communication, dare I say it but we didn't look fit either. Well done to Chris Burke who got man of the match.

06 Nov 2016 14:04:29
Utterly disappointing result today btw, MW has had far too many chances to make it right, yet he still sticks with same old formation, he should be banned from using 433 formation honestly, we need an extra man in middle of park not up front, and with 3 up front were still struggling to score as the goal difference for speaks for itself, so shocking btw.

06 Nov 2016 14:23:50
I agree with you Steven1872. Saying McKay and Waghorn have found their level but I would like to add to that and say that Warburton has found his level. Drawing with Hamilton, Kilmarnock, Ross County, teams who will not finish in the top 6 is simply not acceptable. These guys are getting paid a huge sum every week in fact we have the 2nd highest wage bill in Scotland, yet they continue to underachieve, that frustrates me.

06 Nov 2016 15:06:37
Wonder what excuse Warburton will come out with this week.

06 Nov 2016 13:54:50
Dont care wgat any off you say, Warburton is so predictable, hasn't a clue with tactics, same old playing out from the back which dosent work were not barcalona . 60 min subs every game, if a player is not performing get him off end of .
To many journey men in the team, players walking back when the other team breaking, bad passing bad finishing bad around play which stems from managers set up . championship manager at most . rant over.

06 Nov 2016 14:29:10
Agree time is up for him and a number of his favourites. McKay an utter disgrace when he came on no interest. Send him on loan to St Mirren that's his level.

06 Nov 2016 16:59:18
wow if you think mckays level is st mirren I worry about your health. give the guy a break he's 21 years old, will you be slating Liam Burt or billy Gilmour when they get their chance.

06 Nov 2016 13:54:46
Another extremely poor display. The subs actually made us much worse. Waghorn and Mckay gave the ball away every time they had it. Hill played well at the back though. Long way to go before we can say we have progressed. Do not see how we are going to get any better without major changes.

06 Nov 2016 14:06:05
He changed the wrong players that's why windass holt halliday were rotten and he subbed garner n miller.

06 Nov 2016 13:06:26
I have been telling you for a long time, that big WES is a bomb scare. He's hopeless. I see we are trying to walk the ball into the net again. Need a big 2nd half here.

06 Nov 2016 13:57:09
Utter rubbish once again. Same goal conceded no imagination and the clueless manager brings on the usual subs who do nothing. Never tested their keeper in the second half and lucky not to lose to a depleted side who sit bottom.

06 Nov 2016 13:59:45
Said it myself on many occasion too. Can't remember the game but he was beaten at his near post twice. Not the sign of a good keeper. It was the one that as a keeper you don't want. I would sure as he'll of lost my place in the team (when I played) for that sort of thing.
But here look, win as a team and lose as a team. He might very well have been awful today but there were many to choose from!

06 Nov 2016 10:34:38
Surely the starting 11 today must be the same as last week? No reason to change it.

06 Nov 2016 13:55:46
Gutless performance no winners in that team last 15 mins only one team wanting to win manager not a winner to.

06 Nov 2016 14:56:56
Our Captain is not a leader, indeed I am not sure that he is all that good at this level as a left back. A team of journeymen, lacking in quality, and nothing will change unless there is a change of personnel and sadly that might include the manager.

Once again our defence is our weakest link including our goalkeeper today. Teams are aware of this and take advantage but still we don't learn. However it's only half time so would like to think we can win this.

06 Nov 2016 08:16:48
Funny banter at Ibrox
Gents I remember sitting in the CR stand way back when Souness had just taken over and this match was not going very well and Souness was having a bad match and the guy next to me shouted out Ho Souness your no a patch on Cammy Fraser
You no going to cut it in Scotland
Made me chuckle what a class player GS was.

06 Nov 2016 10:44:30
Will Scotland ever produce a player of his level again? We are struggling to produce decent players as it is. Hopefu;ly there are a couple of gems coming through.
