Ed. my last post not been put up. offensive????
apologies.
the tiger - saying sorry {Ed001's Note - I am not sure anyone would have been offended but it is possible and it was the direction it would have headed the convo to that was as much of a problem. It is a fine line on all the sites, but on this one and the Celtic one it is so much more difficult that I prefer not to take the chance! But thank you for the apology, it is so much easier when people understand we aren't leaving things out to spite them.}

C- Bear, you seem to have a severe obsession with celtic football club, anything you want to declare?, These idiots among Rangers fans are the ones you want to turn youre anger to, its they who are dragging Rangers down time and time again, and like most of the world, UEFA are getting sick of it.
Celtic fans = FIFA , UEFA Award winners. Admired wherever we go. FACT! ! ! So don't you and your board drag our name into it, sort your own house out.

Even though the Scottish press have said the Turks are after McGregor an offering 7M think about it. He is out of contract at the end of next season so how can anyone possibly pay that? Even if he was on a 4 year deal the most you would get would be 5M.

If Zander Diamond signs for Rangers ill run around Ibrox in my wifes underwear, the ones she keeps for "special occasions". Not only is he far from good enough to play for Rangers but he hates us and is equally hated by us so theres more chance of us tempting Lionel Messi to come play with our new signings Cristiano Ronaldo and Fernando Torres at Ibrox!

Goodwillie dundee utd 1.5m
bikey reading 800,000
davidson st johnstone 500,000
diamond aberdeen free
conway dundee utd free
bell kilmarnock free
renew healy contract 2 years
foster aberdeen 900,000
loan bartley and weiss again
sell mcgreggor for 7m+
bougherra davis and whittaker will all sign 3 year deals. as well as other buys.
so lets hope craig whyte completes deal

LETS HOPE THIS ISNT WHO WE ARE GOING TO BUY.

Bikey is dreadful and that's being kind, Diamond is ever worse.
Bell maybe as a back but defo not for 1st choice.
Healy is a defo no, he can't even get a game just now so why would we want to buy him??
Foster, thanks but no thanks, he is poor at the best of times.
Defo resign bartley and weiss on loan deals.

I would sell Mcgregor, Davis and Bougherra. Good money would be generated from these 3 players sales and we could reinvest it. Davis has been a massive disappointment this season and wouldn't be missed, Mcgregor is replaceable, but we would miss Bougherra but needs must.

We need to reinvest in young players, players with pace, midfielders who know how to dribble and score goals and some wingers.

Are you saying that u complained to sfa about glass nails ect being sent to neil lennon?? What has that got to do with rfc?? Nuthng! ! Did u also complain when kyle lafferty, alan mcgregors car was covered in vile messages??? Ricksen got bullets sent to him as well, his crime??? Did u step down from your moral high horse and complain about that? There are many injustices in this world. And neil lennon like ricksen brought a lot on himself. Both sets of fans are as bad as one another, obv not un ur green eyes.

there was no ban on selling poppies outside or inside parkhead, sorry it doesn't suit your agenda, contact poppy scotland or celtic football club to clarify this.

Im a celtic fan and sectarian chants directed at my good self don't bother me one bit, never have never will.regarding the chanting at euro games personally i think the fact quite a few are not season ticket holders starts of most of the sectarian chants then most join in, folk do get carried away with the atmosphere, weve all done it.

For C-bear85.
Of course the Tommy Burns song offended! You later state in your response that it disgusted the majority of Rangers fans, which I believe it did. So why should I not be offended by a song which you go on to state "disgusted" Rangers fans? And you call me a troll???
Spoke with Rangers fans on the day Tommy died, some had come straight from the UEFA cup final in Manchester to Parkhead to pay their respects. And my belief is it is these people who represent the proper Rangers fans. Also believe there are many "90 minute bigots" on both sides of the old firm, who spout nonsense during a game they would not dream of saying otherwise. But the point is this. This is the 4th time UEFA have pulled Rangers to account. And it could have been more. There is clearly, still a huge anti Catholic sentiment within the club which needs to be addressed. My reasons for contacting UEFA, FIFA and SFA were, as originally stated, but also to complain about the mindless threats and bile which Neil Lennon and his family is subjected to. Death threats! Bullets in the post. Suspect packages. Also bullets for Niall McGinn and Paddy McCourt! Naive to think that these are being issued from anyone other than those with Rangers leanings! Their crime to be Irish Catholics! Again, a very small minority responsible, (except in the abuse subjected to Lennon), but it happens and surely its about time that Rangers acted on this once and for all. For everyone's sake, including their own.
As for the "poppy" protest. Think you will find this is by people who object to the wearing of red poppies, an act started after W1, a war in which whilst being fought, British troops were killing people in Ireland. That is why some of Irish descent protest. Not something I personally go for myself, especially as my friend is currently serving with the Army.

To the troll who mailed fifa sfa uefa about rangers.

Why?? Did the tommy burns song offend u?? (Please look up the meaning of offend). The song was insensitive and I believe wrong. But u are guilty of double standards. Someone who is quite happy to complain to authorities about a song about an individual, (that was sung by a minority). Yet when your set of supporters protest about men and woman who who died in ww1 ww2. My point here is most rangers fans were disgusted at the Tommy Burns song just as most Celtic fans were disgusted about their section of support. Do you feel that punishing all rangers fans is the way forward?? We need good honest fans to stand up and make these guys unwanted, its not tge sfa, fifa or uafa to sort out this problem, its up to us.

Nonsense like that will not get posted, clearly the only people at fault for the songs that are sung are the people who sing the songs. Your shifting of the blame makes you as much at fault as them.}

Firstly, regarding the Jelavic failed drug test rumours, if it were true these things do take time to come out, look at Kolo Toure eg, but I would think it's nonsense and just mischief making. However regarding this post "I suspect that a lot of celtic supporters know that the takeover is just a formality now and they need something else to concentrate on." I do have a couple of points. Takeover may well happen but £ available for team and stadium, which needs it, will surely be unclear until the HMRC tax case is resolved. An Irish freelance journalist is releasing a book on this very subject as full details have been hidden by the Scottish press. Basically, it implies Rangers are in trouble on this one.
Also, if us Celtic fans do "need something else to concentrate on" perhaps Rangers facing yet another UEFA charge of sectarian singing in European games should do the trick. I personally sent an e-mail to the UEFA site complaining of this, not of the PSV away game but of the sick chants by Rangers fans made in Lisbon regarding the late Tommy Burns. E-mails sent to UEFA, FIFA and SFA. Only received reply from UEFA who stated that an investigation into Rangers was ongoing. Now news has broken on BBC I can only hope that they take the Lisbon disgrace into account. Perhaps a game or two in the Europa league next season at home behind close doors and they may learn their lesson.

First of all its champions league football next year for us! ! Secondly what about your lot singing about the IRA I suppose that's ok is it?? It aint just some of our fans who sing secterian songs you know. Did you right a letter to the SFA everytime the Celtic fans sings IRA songs didn't think so! ! Cos you would be writing one every week if you did.

Read an article in the scotsman talking about the takeover bid . . "One complication is the one-off payment of £2.8 million to HM Revenue and Customs which emerged when the club's interim financial figures were revealed last week, the liability from "player compensation schemes" dating back to 1999. But broad agreement about who should foot the bill is thought to be in place after another delay in what has been months of talks between the parties. Whyte first officially announced his desire to make a bid for Sir David Murray's controlling stake in the club in November last year. " this isn't the tax bill that they lot were hoping and praying and claiming would be the £30m is it ??

I genuinely don't know ? can soneone clear this up for me ? oh how they lot will be gutted if it is the case!

THE RANGERS REVOLUTION. . PART 2
Whyte Knight finally becomes King of Ibrox 25 years after Souey

7th April 0:01am

Craig Whyte is finally set to wrestle control of Rangers away from Sir David Murray today after months of tense negotiations sparking a Revolution almost 25 years to the day since Graeme Souness swept into power at Ibrox.

Whyte 40, will hand over £28m to complete the protracted takeover and clear the Clubs outstanding debt with Lloyds Banking Group and will also see another £25m made available for investment in the playing squad, taking the overall total to over £50 MILLION POUNDS.

The deal will see Whyte become the majority shareholder and business partner Andrew Ellis become a minority shareholder with a 25% stake. It should be noted that training facility Murray Park and the surrounding Ibrox land are also part of Whyte's purchase.

Plans have already been drawn up for a major revamp of the Rangers boardroom with Chairman Alastair Johnston, Chief Executive Martin Bain, former Chairman John McClelland and Donald Muir set to feel the wrath of Whyte's axe. Manager in waiting Ally McCoist is expected to meet the new Owner before Sundays match with Hamilton.
