Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think I'll wait until January before making my mind about super ally, I can then judge him on the players he's actually signed and not on the youth team he's had to play since last season

Andy

What youths?

Agree0 Disagree0

No1, I think never a truer word could be said and I think we should all follow your words and give him til january and if he is not doing it then its goodbye ally. BT

McColl has FOUR Rangers shares. Murray and Blin have none. True Rangers men eh? Is Paul Murray trying to uncover the truth using the EGM?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Op do you know what an EGM is?
Your last question would suggest that you don't
google it and do some research

if we have an EGM then there will be only one item on the agenda for this meeting, that being the resolution put forward by shareholders,

Please explain how Murray will uncover any truth using the EGM

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

We all waant to know the truth about how the finances work

Agree0 Disagree0

Green and co are desperate to get the fans against each other as it deflects away from them, jim mccoll does not want to buy their shares to line their pockets and rightly so, he wants egm to vote on 2 men who will get to the bottom of the finances and let us know where we stand with all areas of the club, remember no one has to buy greens shares to achieve change and they want to sell before any egm because they are going to be found out and green is banging on now about putting new board together to sort out mess but, he put the current one together and he will be trying to soft soap rangers fans into believing he is the new messiah of which I dearly hope we resist and send him and his cohorts packing. BT

Agree0 Disagree0

@1/ An EGM is a smokescreen to get at least one person on the board who can work from the inside. Do you think there actually will be an EGM? Not a chance. Remember the last time this happened?

Agree0 Disagree0

JG I know if may differ in ANGOLA

but see here in UK when we have shareholders meeting - all questions from the FLOOR - MUST be answered

and any shareholder - even those holding just 1 have right to raise question - and BOARD must provide answer.

Simple recording of this event (which is public and cannot be CLOSED) will catch the lies - and just ask

Who is the beneficial owner of ibrox
Are there any encumberances on ibrox deeds
How much real cash did IPO raise
etc etc etc

A list of 20 questions will nail any wrong doing - and green should welcome this if nothing to hide

Zammo

Agree0 Disagree0

JG it costs money to host an EGM - needs to be big enought venue to hold all potential shareholders - and with fans (8000) of them on register - that's a big olde cost to stump up - and not on tic.

this is pain to board if they don't have the readies. but board MUST do it legally

anti-green faction have a plan. and it just might work

Agree0 Disagree0

@5 things are very much different here, believe me

Zammo I admit that you have a good explanation of an AGM there

If you slow down and think before posting you will find that it is an EGM that has been requisitioned,

I believe the rules for an extraordinary general meeting are very much different from those of an AGM. I think only one topic can be discussed and that is the resolution put forward specifically for that meeting

Why is McCoist making an a**e of himself YET AGAIN!
he's followed up the "who are these people" comments with the SFA Dunfermline / Hearts thing.

The facts were clear yet he tried, embarrassingly, to deflect and deny!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

To be fair to McCoist was it not Mather who questioned the whole Pars/Hearts thing with McCoist then agreeing with him. Don't think either of them looked into it properly prior to opening their gobs though.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't understand the inability to understand QC/ solicitor involvement and due process the SFA uses. Is it selective memory? Or just low IQ?
Ended up with egg all over his face. And the SFA really enjoyed rubbing it all over with the wording of their release.
Mathers is the CEO that's infinitely more worrying.

Is there anyone out there who was amongst the group talking to Jabba the other night? What did he say? or have you signed a confidentiality clause in your contact?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Baybear, on clyde 1 tonight that older fella Brian witsisname from one of the supporters groups said. Walter was defo threatened with legal action and had to water down his statement or else. Apparently it has made him feel quite ill. He said that the real statement was ready for release at the start of the week but took Walter the best part of a week to revise it. This secrecy is really pissing me right off! I'm now convinced the IPO money is gone. I initially thought we would make it to the end of the season but now, thinking January, leaving a six month whole in the books. Roll on the BDO results, as the same fella on radio said there is a REAL possibility of green ending up with egg on his face regarding the acquisition of assets, like there is knowledge of something that's in our favour? Hinted at a REAL possible incrimination regarding chico?

ED, only quoting Clyde 1, NOTHING DEFINITE, the fella said this all depends on due course of police investigation. I Just want to keep every body right, that was the tone on radio as well.

Aye Ready.

Agree0 Disagree0

If ally is such a died in the wool rangers man why dies he not take a wave cut in his million pound a year salary. The money he has amassed as a player and ass manager not to forget his role on a question of sport the guy doesn't need paid he should offer to manage the club he loves for free. Or does charity begin at home. And not the kind of charity that falls foul of OSCR rules

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe if you went along, you might have heard! But your 'baybear' the man of principles and 'bullsh!t'. " do this". "No wait". "Do this". " No no, I mean no no, don't do that". "Wait a minute till the RST get back to me". "Yes yes do it this way now I know what's happening". now!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, sorry if my last reply was borderline in any legal way, so it's best for folks to listen for themselves. Think the Ed's do a great job in keeping us all kosha, cheers it's appreciated.

Baybear, there was a guy tonight on clyde 1 tonight speaking about Walter and confidentiality etc, He's pretty clued up as to the goings on at the club. He was on Friday too, both are at the 40 min mark. And some interesting stuff regarding BDO that you and all Bears might be interested in. Possible light at the end of the tunnel?

Keep up the faith folks

Aye Ready.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't listen to Clyde 1 to be honest mate. Not some stance just never have. Interesting stuff though mate, can't say I'm surprised by the legal action thing though. It was clear from the statement that Walter was trying to say something but going around the houses in order to do it. It's things like this that make me really annoyed when people become quite hateful about a man who has always represented Rangers with dignity. Fine to question his ability to do a job but some of the accusations levelled at Walter on here have been appalling. I repeat what I said before, I expect there to be a lot of people ashamed of their comments once it all comes out in the wash. I hope Walter gets back to a wee bit peace with the missus and the grandkids, he deserves no less for the sh1t he's had to deal with recently. A reluctant hero right enough

Agree0 Disagree0

@3 ha ha, Never realised I had earned the status of having my name in 'quotes' :0) hands up, guilty of changing my mind from time to time. Surprised nobody has called me out for that before now to be honest. Anyway, what's rattled your cage anonymous caller? I've never claimed to be some kind of guru or moral compass to be followed. I'm sure your a big boy and capable of making your own decisions? I'm not your mammy! Also why would anyone 'wait on the RST getting back to me'? :0) what a ridiculous suggestion. I only started posting correspondence between me and the RST because people asked what they were doing. Let me clear this up for you. I am a supporter with opinions that I share on here. If you agree with them fine, if not fine. I make decisions based on what I feel is right at the time, nothing more, nothing less. Apologies if I've led you into thinking I would take you by hand to the promised land?

So, in reference to my original post and for the benefit of the 50 odd thousand other bears who 'weren't there'. have you any idea what Jabba said or were you not there either?

Maybe you could leave a name next time and give me the opportunity to call you up on previous opinions?

Signing off

Baybear the Omnipotent ;0)

Agree0 Disagree0

I like you Baybear am very upset by some of the accusations on here and other websites leveled at Walter and Ally, which are for the most part fabricated in people's minds. I often have to remind myself that a few posters on here are not Rangers fans and who have only one objective, and that is to create malicious gossip and slander in order to cause unrest and divisiveness among the true supporters.

Ozzie Al

Agree0 Disagree0

@6 Loki wouldn't worry about that so called person lol I enjoy your posts mate and people @3 are the ones I come on here to laugh at!
Baybear, I say keep it up dude, that is what is lacking at your club, someone with a open outlook as opposed to the regular knuckle dragger you get on here such as exhibit A @3!

Good luck with the fight Bb for people like you I hope your team comes out if this keek! But for posters @3 I love your pain mate!

Agree0 Disagree0

@7 Agreed Al, the village Id10ts are all to quick to get the pitchforks out. Welcome back by the way.

You guys need to have a look at Dunfermline & Hearts fans and what they are doing to save their clubs. Last night was a perfect opportunity to tell the board exactly how you felt about things, but apart from a few murmurings, nothing! I can't believe there were no banners or mass protests. Dunfermline supporters could teach you a thing or two about saving a football club. Stop sitting around waiting for a cash rich superger to rush in and get rid of Chuckles and his corrupt cronies, it won't happen. This board are taking you lot for absolute mugs.

Radallosh

Believable0 Unbelievable0

And what was dunfermlines big secret then? Oh yeah their cva was approved. What else did they directly do?

Agree0 Disagree0

I somewhat bemused by you only blaming Chuckles and his corrupt cronies (who are they). The whole club is rotten to the core and Ally has the neck to call chuckles an embarrassment this is after the same fella has paid his wages for a year. Never mind, never mind Ally's a true blue. Why did Ally not tell us this months and months ago before we spent our hard earned cash on season books. Does anyone actually believe that Chuckles turn up last week and shouted "honey am home" What a load of S***. This was planned and that is why Walter has walked away. Chuckles has thrown down the gauntlet "If you want it buy me out" and if you can't buy me out "shut the **** up"

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 yes there 0pence in the pound cva was accepted well done to those fans they did so well raising that money.

Fans need to understand one vital thing. McColl or any other businessman will not front up the kind of cash Green and his investors are looking for as the club is losing far too much money. Drastic cuts are needed and this has to be started asap. There is also issues about the stadium upgrading. Right now the club is toxic financially. The fact is Rangers are losing money but still need to spend money. It's a catch 22 situation. This all started last season by paying ridiculous wages to win the third division. It has carried on into this season. Come December Green will sell at a prearranged price to the Easdales who will gain control. Having spent their funds buying Greens shares they will enter a voluntary administration with an achievable CVA. that's why Ally has been allowed to bring in so many players to cover a points deduction and transfer embargo.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Neil Patey was very comfortable stating Rangers would run at losses year on year until it gets back in the top tier before breaking even. All stated reassuringly back at the interim accounts in February.

Agree0 Disagree0

How will easdale gain control by buying greens shares, green only owns 7. 7%. I think the other 92. 3% shareholders may have something to say about that

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

No one will back anyone within that board as its just too dodgey. I was speaking to a guy who stays in Greenock & said that the 2 eastdale brothers are just outright crooks. Took a rival bus company to town down in Greenock along with other things. Rangers were up for sale for rangers & no business man touched them. All that's left is 2 men ripping the arse out of it via the fans from ibrox to Murray park etc but the fans keep feeding the cause. Jim McColl isn't daft if he wanted rangers he could have bought them for less than 6m but his skint pals couldn't raise the cash to put a well funded bid together. Now green wants McColl to pay double that amount? Once green & his investors bail with there profit there will be nothing left but the bone. The Jambos & the pars done what rangers failed to do. Save their club.

Lenny

Agree0 Disagree0

One thing is for sure you have no understanding of the present situation. Green does not own Rangers. I realise that he and indeed you do not understand this. He is a shareholder, full stop.

There are many shareholders and the institutions are unhappy with the current financial situation and with the board of directors. They want to remove the board, or several of those on the board. Jim McColl is the figurehead for those institutions and unhappy shareholders. You say they won't put up the money, put up money for what? To line Green's pockets. If this "coup" succeeds green will still own his shares. He has offered them for £14m which is 70p a share. The last time I looked the share price is 41p. As he paid 1p per share, he wants 69p profit per share, instead of 40p profit per share. Simple as that. If he could forget his ego he would realise that it does not matter who is running it, if the institutions believe there is more chance of the share price recovering if Blin and Murray are there, they will back them with more investment. If not the worry is that these institutions decide to get out even if they lose money, sell the shares and the share price and therefore the value of the company collapses.

The new McColl group will immediately get rid of those ridiculous bonuses that Green and cronies awarded themselves. £350k because the "worst Rangers team ever" won the third division, no wonder there is bugger all money left. Well the "worst Rangers team ever" made Green and the rest of his cronies plenty.

We will have people on the board who's main interest will be the success of Rangers and not how much can we make for ourselves. That's the difference.

This is not a takeover, this is a change of board. There will be no jobs for the boys, it will be best man does the job.

The worrying thing is that many Rangers fans just don't get it, the institutions will call the shots, they don't care about Rangers men etc, they want their shares to show a profit. They clearly have no faith in Green and co and if Green wins then they might walk and God help us then. We must get rid of Green and get the business run properly.

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Aug 2013 21:49:37
Neil Patey said our cva would be accepted.

Agree0 Disagree0

@2/ Because greens investors will pump the figure up obviously. At a guess I think the Easdales will end up with 20-25%.

Agree0 Disagree0

Green's demand is for £14million in return for sourcing 28% of the club's shares.
This values the club - his £5.5m layout - at £50m.
You don't need to be a genius to see it isn't sensible to pay Green and his buddies such a colossal, obscene profit in the club's current state - not even if it means getting rid of him.

Agree0 Disagree0

N3 the big investers will put more money towards the cause but not while chucky and freinds are still running show come in chucky your times up he might ever share a cell with mr white

Agree0 Disagree0

3) Lenny, what a load of garbage. Firstly I would be very careful making statements about people being crooks. The Rangers men that wouldn't touch them, wouldn't go there because of unknown EBT case. The difference was that the Rangers men did not want to be the ones that had to put the club into liquidation which would have been the situation had BTC gone against us. The Whyte's and greens of this world wanted liquidation.

What you forget or chose to ignore is that this is not a buy out. This is demand for a change of board, more capable of running it properly. If the coup is successful green and his cronies are still shareholders, their shares can be sold whenever the price suits them. Green bought shares for 1p per share. The £14m he wants is 70p per share. The share price is 41p, so he wants a 69p profit per share, not 40p per share profit.

Your final comment sums it up, just drivel. Had Hearts and Dumfermline owed HMRC as main creditors their CVA would have been refused, so totally stupid comment.

Dunfermline CVA offered 1p in pound, Hearts is likely to be 5p, ours was 9p. Companies up and down the country get CVA accepted at far less than 9p, it is just that HMRC don't accept CVA as can be seen with Coventry City.

Agree0 Disagree0

@4/ Where did I say Green 'owned' Rangers? I did not. It is clear to me that it is you who have no grasp of the current situation.

You can talk about 'coups' and share prices all night but that it the distraction Green wants. Rangers, in it's current form is approaching meltdown. The club is running out of money and have a stadium that needs urgent repairs. These works could run into the millions of pounds.

The club also have this season and the next in the lower divisions. This reduces income. There will be no European football for at least three years, again a vital income stream that is closed down.

You mention the Institutions. Can you say with any certainty that they are not in partnership with Green? No. They are 1p share holders. What if they entered into a legal agreement with Green guaranteeing them 25% return on their original investment? If Green can deliver this they must legally sell through him. In effect this gives Green control of their shares.

I assume by the tone of your post you think you know how these deals are structured. This is how fund management works. Remember Green brought the investors in. Do you really think he would do that without having some safety built in? A man who has been doing this stuff for years?

Paul Murray is using McColl as a stalking horse. All he is after is the proof of ownership of the assets and the expenditure. Walter Smith knows a little but cannot tell all, so far, as the legal ramifications for him would be crippling. When the truth comes out the fans will be the key. Murray knows this. The share price will have a level where Green will not allow go any lower, the level being the return to investors. If it hits that then the problems could really begin

Just reading all the Anti Ally stuff after work. Does anyone stop to ask the question. what maniac would actually leave a job to come and work for the shambles that is Rangers FC just now. I would rather we got rid of allbthe imposters first the dealt with the managers role. GennUine warning here guys. be careful what you wish for with Ally. Look at the drivel Hearts had to appoint as managers as a result of dodgy owners

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The problem is mate, they can t see the bigger picture. The running of the club is a total farce, this needs to be sorted out asap- we know it will take a long time unfortunately. The footballing side of things will take care of itself.

Rangers fans are now the laughing stock of Scottish football after a paltry hundred or so fans protested last night. Best fans in the world aye right. I'm a Bear and I was there last night and for those who never did anything I'm sickened you can actually call yourselves Rangers supporters and sit back and do nothing whilst our club goes under. When the same thing happened to Celtic their fans were out in force, as much as I don't like Celtic at least their fans cared enough about their club to actually do something.

A Sickened Bear.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Did they not have somebody organising the protests your obviously not that good a fan yourself with puttin more money into greens pocket so don't come on giving it you's shouldn't call yourselfs fans

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 at least the o. p stood up and made himself counted. It's fans like you that need a reality check. Sitting behind your keyboard moaning isn't being constructive. Is it? This Saturday is the day of redemption in terms of a protest. If not Saturday then it's probably never gawny happen.

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Aug 2013 16:52:07
To the 100 or so Rangers fans who stayed behind last night to protest and show you care about our club very very well done. To the 49 thousand odd who regularly attend games and never did a thing feel ashamed, very ashamed. You are as inept, spineless and as much to blame for what's happening to our club as the spivs.

RL1

Believable0 Unbelievable0

A bit harsh maybe but it was an opportunity missed, especially against EPL opposition, any protest would have been on TV and put a wee bit more pressure on the boardroom.

But I truly believe a protest about Green/Smith etc let's McCoist off the hook yet again, he's the one we really need to get rid of, look how much he gets paid plus bonuses, then there's loss of cup revenue and then there's squad he needs to compete with part timers, can anyone give 1 good reason why he is still at Rangers?other than he stuck by us because I would stick by pretty much anything for what he's getting paid, this would only count if he did free or cheap, but the figures being mentioned are scandalous for a club losing £1m a month. McCoists loyalty is a luxury we cannot afford even if it was worth having.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats a bit harsh, you should feel ashamed of yourself, the fans will make up their own minds what to do. trueblue.

Agree0 Disagree0

Some people have to work you know

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers P Murray.

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolute rubbish. Support the team and although we have problems in the boardroom, placards and protests achieve nothing. Hard cash will get rid of Green and there is no one who appears to be prepared to do that. The latest group appear to want the club for nothing and they call Green's mob chancers. A bit of the 'pot and kettle' I would think. This should all be sorted out in the board room and not through the media, with everyone throwing in half-cocked 'facts'.
billyb

Agree0 Disagree0

McCostly is the obvious initial problem at rangers. And it really is the easiest to fix at any other club in the world.
With this squad he should never drop a league game and he should only lose to Celtic in cups.

Agree0 Disagree0

@5 green and his gang will go either by walking or getting voted out so no probs ther then the only money they'll get when the sell their shares

Agree0 Disagree0

Green does not own Rangers he is just a shareholder, we must support McColl in his attempt to get some responsible people on the board, people that will make decisions based on what is best for the club, and at the same time make sure salaries are paid at current market rates for a similar post, £500 k for CEO way over the top. MCoist's salary way over the top, I could go on. All decisions must be for the club not vested interests.

Agree0 Disagree0

@6. And that just about sums up your football knowledge. Sorry to break it to you but teams lose sometimes. Good teams bad teams great teams and world beaters. They all lose some games. Rangers will lose some league games. As will Celtic, man u Barcelona and bayern m. It matters not who should and shouldn't lose games. It's football and it will happen. has done for decades. Football is played on grass with differing conditions and circumstances. Always has been this is why we love it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Be afraid be very afraid lol, calm down RL1, were all hurting as much as you but unless you have a few million down the back of your armchair not a lots going to change, just got to keep supporting the club as best as we can and hope mr mccoll and Murray step up and see what happens

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Aug 2013 16:43:18
Everybody who has been on the board must know the secret of the assets. Ally and walter must know it. They must all be keeping it quiet like bomber as it would be too damaging. However, surely this is Green's Achilles heel?

Did green's share prospectus state the plc would own the assets? Or was it vague and say deeds not seen yet or something? Surely that prospectus statement nine months later needs to be clarified to shareholders? It's an easy immediate thing to do today. Not like accounts.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Did Jabba have an angle? Going to publish it? What was the leveridge for an Ibrox directorship?

Agree0 Disagree0

Op prospectus clearly stated ibrox was owned by the company, not sure about Murray park, I will check though

Jg

Agree0 Disagree0

1) Traynor is there to write Greens book and have Rangers pay him whilst it is written, no other reason.

Agree0 Disagree0

@2/ Wrong. On the prospectus it stated that the club 'had the use of' Ibrox. More clever wordplay.

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't like to think half the dramas rolling out, resigning directorships, comebacks, tabloid emotive stories were all designed as material for a book.

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 have you read the prospectus? if no, please do. if yes, please read again

in section b3 it states
"RFCL acquired the assets and business of the Club on 14June 2012 from RFC 2012 plc and now operates the Club and other ancillary businesses. Immediately prior to Admission, the Company will acquire RFCL pursuantto the Share Exchange Agreement, "

and then further states

"The Club’s primary asset is Ibrox Stadium, situated 2.5 miles south-west ofGlasgow city centre and has been home tothe Club since 1899. The all-seated 50, 987capacity stadium is owned by RFCL and houses a retail outlet, restaurants, function rooms and executive suites. On matchdays, the Club canaccommodate and entertain up to 1, 500 corporate clients"

no where does it say we have the use of the stadium so unless thias document was totally misleading then there is no doubt about who owns Ibrox

Murray park is not so clear cut as the prospectus states

"In addition, the Club benefits from Murray Park, which was opened in July 2001 following a£14million development".

however on page 61 it states

11. Acquisition
On 14 June 2012RFCLpurchased the trade and assets ofRFC 2012 plc, which was in administration. Underthe sale and purchase agreement the total value of the assetswasrecorded as £5.5 million. Fairvalue adjustments have been made as per below.

I read green saying put up or shut up, and 14million pounds is the price he, ll walk away for. I know his consortium steped up when we were in trouble and I, ll always ge glad they did but they had a long time plans, grab as much money and run. He is very clever at saying the right things at the right time and we lapped it up myself included. I thought the best signing Green made was to get Walter onto the board because every rangers fan knows he loves our club and would not do anything to harm it.
I trust Walter if he has walked its because there is something going on in the boardroom that's not right and if he backs McColl then his consortium is the best for rangers football club and the fans.
McColl is not stupid nor tight he rightly will not pay for something thatis not able to show where all the financial deals and movements have been done.
Green comes back after the season ticket sales are over 34,000 even Ally's said that's not coinsidental but just an extension of the plan of Green and his consortium.
Basically I trust Walter and his backing of McColl and do not trust green or his henchmen. We must get him OUT.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ahmed's mum will have a field day if £14M lands in her account on Friday,

Foxy

Agree0 Disagree0

Wrong. Green said he would deliver twenty million shares. He did not say he would walk away. This has been Greens forte, he is very good with words

Agree0 Disagree0

2) wrong, Green walk away from what. He is a shareholder, if he sells his shares he is nothing. He is not the last time I looked a director. He is a shareholder the same as me, the difference is he paid 1p a share, I paid 70p a share. If the coup is successful green will still be a shareholder and can sell them whenever he wants.

When Arsene Wenger moved Thierry Henry from the wing into a central role, I think it was the work of a tactical genious as Henry flourished to become one of the greatest Premiership players ever.
Could it not be the case that Ally is even more of a tactical (tortured) genius and is in fact creating 10 new Thierry Henrys every game. Are those pesky lower league teams just too thick to realise this and keep pooping on his master plan!

Without a single shadow of a doubt, 100 percent, those 3 managers you mentioned are better than Ally McCoist.

Ally has achieved absolutely nothing in 3 years with the second biggest budget in Scottish football. Not even a cup final. If your counting a 3rd divisions title against part time plumbers and joiners you are so deluded its not even a laughing matter, you simply need help.

Butcher has reached semi finals and won Scottish first division titles.

Derek Adams had won titles at higher levels than the 4th tier and got to cup finals with Ross County.

Billy Davies has taken teams to the Premiership and proven himself at much higher levels than McCoist.

All on smaller budgets than McCoist has had in his time at Rangers.

Deluded mate, blind and deluded.

You didn't mention him But I'm afraid to say it from one of Ally's biggest fans S McCall Is twice the manager Ally is. That goes for Davies also. It's not problems in the background that have given me this opinion if you've ever sat close enough to him at Ibrox you will know the guy is completely clueless when it
Comes to managing a team. His tactics are outdated this is league 1 man should have started last season. Teach them how to keep the ball on the ground work for each other on & off it make the runs pass it round teams our superior quality & fitness would show I'm certain of it. If we played that way then we would completely dominate possession create more chances & would not get caught on the counter as often. When you see the space we have when u sit high up at Ibrox it's scary that we can't actually do this or even try it. It's still highballs with Black & McLeod always looking for the killer pass when the easy ball is the better option. Saying that the other players do not make themselves available as they should as it's not how they are being told to play. The majority of our goals come from Wallace breaking down the wing & then a scrap in the box. If Barca can do it to the best teams in the world surely we could have been doing it to Peterhead & Stirling. Our tactics & Philosophy Is so single minded it will never change no matter how many signings we make its been the very same since Smith came back. Ally just doesn't have it in him to grind out results when there most needed Like Walter could. Rangers have not played good football since Alukos Masterclass at Ibrox against the Tic & that was the wee man linking with Jig but making things happen on his own not Ally's Management.

The fans have to smoke them out guys!

Get Mr McColl on board, not for his money but his business sense and as a figurehead. Get the investor guy involved. Create a business plan.

Start an non-competitive FC Rangers, hire a ground and fill it every week, play friendlies, e. g. Rangers over 50's v Celtic over 50's (The Old Infirm), wear your old tops or create your own, sing Rangers songs (not those ones!), drop the troublemakers, have parties, still support your team with Rangers games on big screens, generate cash and when the share price drops to below 10p, buy the f***ers out and merge the two teams.

20,000 fans generating a £3 a head profit or donation per week (after tax!) means you can give Green and his buddies their £5. 5M back within 2 years and still have change for Rangers charities and maybe contributions to the small businesses the old regime stiffed.

Simples!

Totally agree mate he is a legend and part of our great club! He might not be the best manager but he deserves a lot more respect than he gets on here, would people genuinly be happy for green to get another yes man on board to feed us lies and let's be honest green wouldn't sack his own appointment so could be a lot worse

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Has Ally not told us some whoppers? WW

Agree0 Disagree0

You must be at the wind up, Ally had so much respect from so many people. Unfortunately he is losing it at a rapid rate. How can anyone continue to respect a manager of the Glasgow Rangers who treats the fans to viewing one man up front against teams like Forfar, if he wants to keep the respect he should walk away without claiming any pay off.

Agree0 Disagree0

And when has ally ever been straight with us?

Agree0 Disagree0

Couldn't disagree more. He was a yes man to Whyte until the very end and was a yes man to Green. Remember he originally AGREED with Greens comment about being the worst team ever before later back-tracking the next day. plethora of ex players slamming Green for these comments right up until monday. now turns out it may have been Uncle Walter all along!
Can we expect to see Ally, Goram, Brown and Gough now coming out in the papers and slamming Walter?

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree ally is a bad manager and would be happy with butcher or mccall, all i'm saying is give him respect he is due, we don't see behind the scenes he knows greens out to get rid of him and most of club are greens men and he is fighting a losing battle against guys ruining the club and we as fans should be by his side! His flaws are he is a poor manager and backs every person that runs rangers and i'd suspect its to keep his job but I do believe he loves the club and is out of his depth

Agree0 Disagree0

Ally won't play 1 up front when he can play his signed players

Agree0 Disagree0

Re 6, he has played it constantly against every level, are you saying players we are currently allowed to play are not good enough to play against current level in other formations (and god forbid entertain a little ) if so get a grip.

Well troops, that’s me back from almost 2 years trekking through the jungles of South America. How’ve you all been?! What’s been happening?!

When I left our lord and saviour wee Craigie boy was at the helm and wee Ally was cruising toward title number 55. Assume we’re going for 57 noo. Anyways, when’s the Old Firm game? Who’ve we got in Europe? Who’s the big signings been? How many trebles has Ally won? Cannae wait to catch up on all the glories I’ve missed.

Anyways, going to pop out now and cash in some of ma shares for a mega swally. And as always it will be the big T (thanks for the sponsorship lads). Oh btw, did I see we were playing Newcastle last night. Is that us in the English Premiership?! Wee Craigie’s a genius! He must be due a knighthood.

As for what I told everybody, that's exactly what I did. not sure of the point your trying to make?

Agree0 Disagree0

@5- just re read your post again and have to correct my last comment. I think you'll find I told everyone for weeks and weeks NOT to buy season tickets. I subsequently crumbled and renewed myself but still came on here and gave my reasons for this as honesty is important to me.
I have subsequently felt like a tw*t for renewing and have again been quite open about this on here too.
So much so in fact that I sent a post earlier today which has not been put up (ED?) stating that I have today requested that Rangers cancel my season ticket as I cannot be part of this charade anymore. As yet I have not received conformation that this has been actioned; despite two calls and an email.
So, there you have it, hope this clears up any confusion as to what I said or what I stand for. So as you can see, although I try to maintain a sense of humour I am struggling to find anything remotely funny about our situation. 2 years of watching my club go from crisis to crisis has all but wiped out my sense of humour. This is why I have tried to do as you suggested and 'chuck' it. I'm assuming there was no pun intended there?
Apologies for this rant by the way, don't blame you for having a laugh at our expense. I would do the same if the shoe was on the other foot.

Only at ibrox can a manager lose to forfar on Sat and get a standing ovation on the Tue, complete madness, only person winning out this is ally.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ally last night after a draw in a friendly only wants to talk about the football, yet on Saturday when we get pumped by Forfar he wants to talk about anything other than the football. Coisty is a joke and needs to go.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes some fans will never see anything wrong with McCoist.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just watched this mornings STV interview with Green. To me he is our better chance, Watch it and see what you think. McColl is not interested.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said. The main problems at our club is the coaching system being utilised. The majority of players (especially the young boys) are going backwards. WW

Agree0 Disagree0

Op what does the ovation Ally got last night tell you? We all know there is a far far bigger picture in all this, Ally gives us a little bit of stability, if he was sacked or walks do you honestly think that the board (and I think we all know who will call the shots) will appoint another Rangers man like Butcher or Mccoll. Not a chance, it will be another one of his yorky con men. Or tell me i'm wrong.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think after chucky is removed ally will be moved upstair n3 and n4 you two must follow a diffrent team from most on here

Agree0 Disagree0

Coisty has done more to earn the respect of every true blue than any man alive (okay, maybe a dead-heat with Lord Smith of Carmyle!).

He's been fighting through the deepest adversity from both inside and outside the club - and he's acquitted himself like the gentlemanly bulldog he is, throughout.

Anyone who can't see the solid steel in the man is a complete fool - and that's why they're not capable of understanding the treasure he truly is at our club.

Silly, impressionable, fair-weather "fans"; stop listening to the wind-up merchants from the other side of Glasgow who are posting here, and get back behind those who truly love our club - for it's the hour for our support to stand up and be counted.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

How have we been shafted? Moving the Dunfermline game to 5:30 is no big deal, and we will only have about 1000 tickets for Arbroath so being able to see the game on a mon night a bonus as most would be unable to make it anyway.

Agree0 Disagree0

So if it was Arbroath at home on a Mon night that would be fine? What about the Arbroath fans traveling to ibrox on a Mon nite? That's ok?

I challenge anyone to watch Penny Arcade being sung at Ibrox on You Tube. It's a family and McCoist belongs to it. I'd hate to miss his antics at the dugout or listen to his interviews. He's just so darn forthright and honest. No, McCoist going doesn't fit the equation for what the plan is ahead and good to see the fans let Green know that last night. More pro Ally comments would be welcome as I expect the usual onslaught to my comment.

Agree0 Disagree0

"He's just so darn forthright and honest. " At first I thought you were being serious but after this comment I realised you were joking. Ally is a bum and as a Celtic fan you know that. Good joke though!

Agree0 Disagree0

Gaz, you have been away for a while and there has been peace and tranquillity on the banter pages.

I think most bears will be the first to admit our club is in an absolute mess from top to bottom, Ally Mccoist on the playing front is to an extent the cause and tactically is very poor, 1 up front against Forfar a good example.

However I have always said he needs a fair run to be judged, in the last two years the club has been lurching from one crisis to the next, with him being thrust forward as a club spokesman. One month after September 1st will tell if he's good enough, his chosen team will be on the park. (if he's still employed by the club)

As for "a month to respond" come on do you shout at your boss and and tell him exactly what you think and disagree with everything they might say? PB

Agree0 Disagree0

Like gaz I've not been on for at least two months because I was sick of reading all the crap you wer coming out with, myself and many others repeatedly told you these people were destroying your club for financial reasons. but you just would not listen or do anything about it (no mass protests or anything)time and time again they, ve lied cheated and deceived you and still you dun F all. now am back on and its still the same old sh^^te YOUR STILL BEING RAPED BY ENGLISH FRAUDSTERS. when are you going to wake up and accept the truth. the rangers you supported no longer exists, neither does their history, you are a new co with the ability to make a new start, drop the bigotry, sectarianism and everybody hates us attitude and get on with building a new team you can be proud of. there, s a big difference between blind loyalty and blind stupidity. gary.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm back and the eace and tranquility ends PB, jeez it's even my fault now, for the record a number of Rangers fans were praising me this week, just thought I'd point that out.

Well Bears, I was saddened to see the level of support at the game last night, simply because it gives battle monies to Gaddafi and his cohorts, in the long run it was not supporting Rangers.
Examine your conscience, go with your gut and support McColl, if you must attend a game ie you have paid your season ticket, buy nothing, no food, no programmes, no merchandise, every penny is lifeblood to the blood suckers. Good Luck.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Once again, a celtic fan can see it and we cant. I know we all love our club but some of the comments on here are ridiculous.

Get behind McColl's proposal to remove the vermin from the board or we will die a slow death. To ofter do I come on here the voice of doom and gloom but the people who come on and say, " Oh actually Green has a good point" ffs, its all smoke and mirrors, its all because he is worried he might not make money. If McColl's proposal fails, we will be back in admin by end of Jan. Yes, Green was the only show in town, etc etc etc but he is destroying our club. Listen to guys like Bomber, Walter, Allly, these guys have Gers at heart and know exactly what is needed.

I do agree that Allys management has been horrendous thus far and time will tell if he lasts in the job (im not going into that because its not my point) but unfortunately, football is no longer the main talking point at rangers. We need to cleanse the boardroom of rats before we are no more.

I am not a McColl supporter but I do believe that he has the best interest of the club at heart and at the moment. Walter, Ally, McColl, Blin and Paul Murray are the only ones we can trust.

See sense and get Green's consortium out.

At last a bit of improvement on the field. I know it was a friendly and against one of the lesser teams in the Premier League but it still turned out a very decent game. Peralta will be a big player this year and the midfield of Law, McLeod and Peralta should cope with the early rounds of the Scottish Cup.
Poor crowd inside the ground and as I didn't hear anything from outside the ground I am assuming in spite of all the impassioned pleas and hyperbole yesterday the mass protest outside was a damp squid?

ED why are Rangers fans so apathetic
The Fighting Fund only reached £600,000 yet fans of Hearts who are allegedly a much smaller club raise significantly more than that in days?

Celtic fans assemble in their tens of thousands and over subscribe two share offerings from the Bunnet.

I was always going into the ground to support the team on the pitch but we really cannot organise a p#ss up in a brewery. {Ed001's Note - Rangers just need someone to step up and take charge of organising something. There are plenty of people who would put money in, but they need something to put money into first!}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

So Ed what your saying is the solution is the fans parting with more money?

Thought we did that when we bought shares? {Ed001's Note - no, I am saying that the fans are happy to do that, if necessary, that is not the issue. The problem is that they lack someone directing their efforts and leading them towards the answers needed. If necessary to fight and reclaim the club for the fans too, if the answers are not satisfactory.}

Agree0 Disagree0

The problem is that they, in the most part haven't an earthly what they actually want, as a combined force.

Some want Green and the existing board, some want Murray, McColl etc, some want King.

Some want McCoist to stay, some want him sacked.

Some want a bit more frugality regards spending, some say until I hear otherwise the finances must be fine.

They can't protest en masse because there is not one single item they agree on en masse.

The only common denominator is slag Celtic, the SFA and the media, guaranteed Brownie points every time.

Gaz

Agree0 Disagree0

I would have to disagree with your last point Gaz.
I'm not interested in Celtic, the SFA, Media etc.
I'm quite happy to agree that the problems we have are of our own making. Whilst initially they were purely the work of moneymen, chancers and spivs I'm afraid we as supporters our apathy is contributing to the continued rape of our club.

Agree0 Disagree0

The BIGGEST PROBLEMS is Rangers fans are fighting amoungst yourselves, some blinded by they are Rangers men, others with he saved our club. Divide and conquer springs to mind, as you continue to fight you don't notice them taking the bags of money out the back door, open your eyes of what is going on before its to late, or what happened last year will look like a walk in the park with what could happen in the next few months.
P. S Sorry for shouting but you don't seem to listen

Celtic Fan

Agree0 Disagree0

As far as I can make out, most supporters are not willing to stand up for what is right and certainly not willing to stand up to thugs like Green. I still don't sense the indignation, regarding the whole of the past few years only a warped sense of bitter frustration, and that every one else is to blame. So long as there is a game on every week, thousands roll up to buy season tickets by shares etc, without even questioning the character of the people at the helm of our beloved club. This appeasement only fuels the believe that we are here to be shafted. Our support have a deep seated fear of demanding answers and accept sweet talk all too easily, it's been going on for decades. Which begs the question just what are the standards, even morals by which we measure these days? Being a Ranger used to mean so much more than we presently hold to.

Aye Ready

Agree0 Disagree0

Admittedly as neither a Celtic nor rangers supporter I only visit to watch the soap opera but you need an outside bogeyman to rally the troops to the flag.

Perhaps you can get all the celtic fans to promise to buy the your shares if they fall to 10p?

But Baybear some of that apathy is because on ocassion said board members are getting kudos for having a swing at perceived enemies, making you focus your attention out the way rather than inwards, a couple of good sound bytes, problem solved. Bears rather than be over reactive to all the negative press stories, why not stop and think about things rationally.

The facts are
Greens consortium bought the clubs assets for 5. 5M or there abouts, when no one else would (dont go on about kennedy, mcColl, park, americans, asians, D&P) no one else had the b@lls to put their money on the table due to the number of unknowns at that time

Green says that him and his group now own 20m shares (thats what he said on tv anyway) and they will sell for 14m, 70p per share (we all knew they were always in this to make money from their investment)

There are 67M shares currently issued therefore 47m shares are owned by others

If A N Other wanted to make a bid to take control of the club then they do not have to buy greens shares to do so, they need to find holders willing to sell 34m shares (51%), at todays price of 42p per share that comes to - guess what - 14m

An EGM has been requisitioned by some shareholders who want to see changes in the boardroom, we wait to see the outcome of the voting or even if that meeting takes place

Until Green and co decide to sell their shares they will remain shareholders, the EGM will decide if they retain control of the boardroom

We will see accounts probably by late Oct or early november (thats normal, look back previous years and at other clubs)

Unfortunately we can jump up and down all day, the fans will not force changes, the shareholders (existing or new) will

JG

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Green has removed Malcolm Murray from the board (a Rangers fan) and Smith for the board (a god).

Why is green trying to remove anyone who luvs Rangers from the board - what is his end game. ?

Why would you do this and not immediately replace with KNOWN and trusted Rangers men thru-and-thru?

Asset stripps remove the olde guard - then strip assets one by one

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 Murray (a rangers fan) was put in place originally by Green, No? granted he was then removed but he was replaced as chairman by Walter who is 110% (a rangers fan),

Walter was not removed, he stepped down as he felt he could not perform the task he was put there to do, unite the boardroom, and he may also felt in a compromised position if in fact he supported the resolution to remove other board members

Greens group want to keep control of the boardroom, of that there is no doubt, only other shareholders can change that, some have requisitioned an EGM, this will either take place or a deal will be done to give them some representation in the boardroom

We all would rather have hard headed and scrupulous business men who can turn the club back into a viable business, if they are of a rangers persuasion then all the better

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 51% all you need, why need to dominate the boardroom as well? What they trying to hide?

1) bought club when no one else did when they had their chance.
2) paid off "old" rangers business debts, as per sfa blackmail, by law didn't have too, not his business debt.
3) over seen successful share issue.
4) won title under his watch in 1st year.
5) proved he wasnt in with craig whyte ( at a cost of 1 million pound ),
yes he comes out with some bizzare statements but even charles green said he doesn't believe what charles green says sometimes, but that's not a crime. mccall claims in press today he's an opportunist, so was mccoll when he bought into clyde blowers and made his millions, isn't that what risk taking is about, is that not what green has done with rangers, took a business risk? accounts don't need to be published till 18th sept, so far its a myth gers have no money won't last till the end of every month ( so " sources" tell us through the media every month) ally has got nearly every player he wanted this year, and having the 2nd biggest wage bill and squad in scotland, what's wrong with expecting to get to cup finals and winning them along with our own championship, seems fair expectations to me!

One of my favourite shows from the 70s was Fantasy Island. "Look Boss, The Plane, The Plane". Todays Fantasy Island can be found in Govan. A draw with Newcastles 3rd string and Rangers are world beaters! "Look Ally, The Green, The Green"

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Newcastles 3rd string don't think so pal {The Ed039's Note - did anyone see their starting line up?)

Agree0 Disagree0

Newcastle 3rd string? cisse, cabaye, ben arfa, collochini, etc.

another east end obsession

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic couldn't beat arbroath with their full team at parkhead last season heres hoping theyr thumped tonight

Agree0 Disagree0

@3 A trophy we ultimately won, you should try winning cups some time, it's nice. Oooops, Ally, I keep forgetting. :)

Was at the game tonight, and although it was only a friendly I've got to say big moshni was quality at the back and peralta looks a good find. this team isn't far away from being half decent. W. A. T. P. billy the bear.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Impressed by the signings and on paper I'd guess it's easily the second best squad in the land with the biggest support and best facilities too.

Would I bet on them to beat the likes of St. Johnstone, Caley Thiistle or Dundee United in the Cup?

Nope. And that's purely down to the ineptitude of the management team.

Agree0 Disagree0

My question is are the players we have to sign on September 1 locked up already or can Rangers back out of some of their contracts?

Ed given the SFA's prompt and comprehensive reply to Craig Mather do you think it was just another shining example of a board member saying what the fans want to hear? In other words, surely he would have been advised or was aware of some of the differences he questioned when he spoke?

Gaz {Ed001's Note - I would think it was more likely a case of someone feeling hard done by and not bothering to check if they were before they spoke out.}

6 hours ago Ally had to go he was a crap Manager! Now he is not?
I think you all need to get of his back until September and see what happens when he gets to play his preferd team with a mix of youth so they can gain experience.
I have a feeling this team could win the test of the cups and demolish the 2nd and 1st decision with some SPL scalps along the way.
If he dose not do it this year then he has to go!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

A home draw in a friendly against a team that made nine substitutions and you think they could beat Celtic in the Scottish Cup, man some of you are beyond help.

Gaz

Agree0 Disagree0

Ffs has the forfar game slipped your mind already. I hope u get celtic in scottish becuase celtic will put at least 5 past u. but I dought u will get to the third round. its a sad day when u r out the cups b4 celtic enter pmsl

Agree0 Disagree0

Newcastlen never made 9 subs, rangers did

Agree0 Disagree0

I think they could beat Celtic at Ibrox with a full house, that's because I have faith in Ally and the team.
It wouldn't bother me if they got beat as long as they gave 100%.
It seems to me the problem most people have on here is that they are scared of defeat so ridicule the team.

Agree0 Disagree0

All you can say about last nights result and our pre-season. it that it's a vast improvement from. 12 months ago.
Against Newcastle Rangers also made numerous substitutions such as McAusland, Faure, and Andy Murdoch coming on.

Agree0 Disagree0

A football match is 11 v 11 usually over 90 mins, anything can happen, a lucky deflection or manic defending, because its the Scottish cup does that make Celtic invincible? Ross County were no pushovers and with a bit more luck could have got something.
That's why we all love the game Gaz, its unpredictable! PB

Agree0 Disagree0

#1. maybe we could win a cup without facing celtic??
just a thought for you!

Agree0 Disagree0

All this pressure has got to folks. Madness.

Agree0 Disagree0

Where does it state we could beat celtic?

Agree0 Disagree0

Gaz Newcastle made the same changes with a higher caliber of player.

However it is a friendly and the fitness levels showed we are ahead of them as their season has yet to start.

Again though Ally set up the team well and has shown potential in the signings he made in Moshni and Peralta. As the OP states they were a stand out for us. Also a player I thought showed huge potential was Law, he has a touch of Durrant about the way he reads and plays the game.

Agree0 Disagree0

@1. Both sides made many subs and who mentioned Celtic? Trouble maker.

Agree0 Disagree0

The OP states they could win the rest of the cups, a bold statement after Forfar I would suggest.

And of course someone else can knock out Celtic but the bottom line is either Rangers or someone else has to do so. I'm not saying it's impossible far from it but I don't even think that is your main issue. Would many of you be comfortable going to Ross Co, Aberdeen, St Johnstone on the COMPETITIVE showings we've seen from all clubs concerned so far this season? And then there's the almighty X-factor of having Jose McCoist in charge.

Bear in mind one thing, of all eight Cup exits with McCoist as manager Rangers have been favourites in seven of them, the only game they were not favourites both themselves and Dundee Utd were 6/4 in most big bookies (Tannadice last season). Given they were 6/4 at Tannadice, as opposed to Ibrox, I guarantee they were therefore overall favourites to proceed, so actually they were favourites to go through in all 8.

In Lennon's three full seasons in charge Celtic have did no worse than be semi-finalists in all 6 domestic cups. If I'm correct Ally has sniffed one quarter final in his tenure.

So I think it's safer to presume Celtic will get by the potential banana skins long before you can presume it of a McCoist led Rangers. I'll happily take that chance every day.

I also noticed the caveat of "oh what if it's at Ibrox?" Sure, you never know. How does the reverse fixture grab you? Thought so.

Agree0 Disagree0

Gdog in a week of bad news I get the desire of the OP to put a positive spin on things, I really do. But that is one huge leap of faith he took there.

Rangers have had 2 competitive games under their belt already, Newcastle don't have one for what, another week and a half? Celtic's pre-season was woeful bounced into competitive football with 4 straight wins. There is absolutely nothing to be ascertained from a result in a friendly.

Rangers will be better after Sept 1st, that is obvious but I still don't think a friendly in August means they are genuine challengers. Squad budget wise, absolutely, but that was said last season too wasn't it?

Gaz

Agree0 Disagree0

@3 Just for you.

NEWCASTLE UNITED: Krul (Elliot, 46); Debuchy, Coloccini (Yanga-Mbiwa, 73), S Taylor, Santon (Dummett, 64); Tiote (Anita, 73), Cabaye (Gosling, 81); Sissoko (Marveaux, 64), Ben Arfa (Gouffran, 46), Gutierrez (Sammy Ameobi, 81); Cisse (Shola Ameobi, 73).

9 substitutions.

Ed. Two questions.
I'm not saying it's going to happen but remains a strong possibility. If we are placed in administration how many points will be deducted. Also, if we are deducted points do you think we can still win league one? Thanks ed. {Ed001's Note - according to the SPFL rulebook, if it happens within 5 years of the previous admin, it would mean a 25 point deduction immediately. If the club stays in admin going into the following season, there would be a 25 point deduction applied for that season too. I am not sure that Rangers would be able to overcome that much of a deficit. The opponents would be given a huge boost and each team they play against would actually fancy their chances of finishing above them. For me, it would depend when it happened, if it was early in the season, then it would be more difficult than if it was later on, when the club was already in a decent lead.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I am pretty sure this is the plan. That could be the reason Ally has so many players as there would be a signing embargo as well I think. Even with a 25 point deduction I think they would get up.

Agree0 Disagree0

We could struggle to win the league but worst case we could still go up via a playoff. tambo88

Bears. I always try to walk the middle ground between our clubs. But I need to say that this charity rip off is nothing short of disgusting. joe

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Have you even read the full story.

Agree0 Disagree0

Every word. Ad in a broadsheet not a comic. £25k fees? I see some bears are saying its indefensible, good. I'm sure it doesn't represent my mates or decent fans but you really should be up in arms? Do you think this has gone unnoticed by other clubs? Will be along time before a continental club comes your way for a charity match again because some pigs have ther fat faces in the trough. The apathy of your fans beggars belief

Agree0 Disagree0

Everybody has read the story and it reflects very badly on a once great club.

Agree0 Disagree0

This was common knowledge and reported all over the media before the game took place back as early as Feb 2012,

it was also recognised that if the game was cancelled the charity would have been out of pocket

Did you make any comments then Joe?

"The Rangers Charity Foundation has and continues to do great work and with the support of the fans has donated over £1.1m in cash awards to charity and over £1.9m of in-kind support, making a combined total of over £3m since it was set up in October 2002. "

Banner at game tonight calling SFA and SPFL corrupt. if ever a case pot calling the kettle black!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Perfect timing giving that charity money never made it to the charity, think the fans would focuss on more important matters and move on to see how corrupt the club has been.

Agree0 Disagree0

If you actually read the full story, it states it was Duff & Phelps who advised that for the game to go ahead then certain implications had to be agreed. It was also THEM who took the money for the Charity match and not Rangers so give it a rest

Agree0 Disagree0

And who gave them the money? Who transferred it? Rangers CHARITY, talk about denial

Agree0 Disagree0

Duff and phelps received the money but the trustees were legally in control of it and broke the law by giving it to D&P. this lying about the issue is just as bad as what happened.

Bit off topic what with all that's been going down at the club but I thought I'd mention Leigh Griffiths has signed a new 2 year deal with option for a 3rd at Wolves so the pecker on here lying through his back teeth about sources, wages and fees agreed was just like I called it at the time. talking Beverly Knight!

I remember your name but not going to bother, you know who you are.
