Heard terry butcher's interview on sky regarding all current things rangers and he spoke very warm & passionately about rangers and how he so much wishes for the club to get fixed and back to the pinnacle of scottish football, he spoke highly of our supporters also, there isn't a doubt in my mind that terry butcher really cares a great deal about rangers and wants to be the next rangers manager if the circumstances are right ie. the proper people in the boardroom, what would be your thoughts on this ed?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed039's Note - Playing legend, wouldnt touch him with a bargepole when it comes to next manager)

I do not want terry butcher under any circumstances I would have paul le guen back before butcher and that's saying something

Bears even if you are not a share holder please try if you can get down to the Millenium hotel in Kessgington anf make noise. Let's bring more media misery to fat boy and the twins.

That will be music to their ears to think it is going to turn into a ram my where they can cancel the egm and hold onto power for more weeks to cause chaos .

Agree0 Disagree0

OCRSC, Empty vessels make the most noise. If you have a sensible point to get across then do it, but not as part of a rabble. Don't listen to your 'leaders' as, imo. they are not true Rangers supporters.

Agree0 Disagree0

The last thing we need in London that day is disruption by renegade fans causing bother in London they'll just love that and cancell the EGM!

Agree0 Disagree0

The board are looking 4 a few idiots 2 give them reason to abandon meeting and reschedule. don't fall onto their TRAP . PLEASE

Agree0 Disagree0

Let the egm run without any excuses for it to be cancelled if your looking for media coverage picket mcgills depot or a sports direct shop peacefully of course

Agree0 Disagree0

At no point did I say a rable. I have been to work sit ins poll tax sit ins etc and they were silent demos. The point was to gather and get media attention. I still say the more people that attend the bigger the noise.

Agree0 Disagree0

OCRSC

Can you actually read every other post?

Seriously if any more than the 500 max the venue can take turn up the board will cancel the EGM and opt for 28 days more as permitted

Wake up it is EXACTLY why they booked that venue

The Trust are doing a fantastic job informing fans how to proxy vote.

The 51% King has in his pocket will be reached easily by the 40%+ he already has from him plus 3 Bears and one other shareholder which means he only needs 10% more from a few shareholders and proxy votes we do not need 2000 fans there.

Organise, unite and the EGM will be won it is that simple

i am george

Agree0 Disagree0

Ocrsc6. how about having a sit in in your living room on the day of the egm and let the shareholders cast their votes without any (with all due respects)possible distractions that would give the disease that is our board any excuse to postpone the meeting dave king reckons we have the 50plus % to take control of the boardroom why anyone should be urging fans to be there for a protest and possible unrest is beyond me we have come to far and suffered so much to take a risk of blowing it now. we don't need the fans there we need their votes

Agree0 Disagree0

@5 Good advice. Hope he opts for the bus depot.

Agree0 Disagree0

George there were two replays to my post when I replied. All the noisy protests have failed miserably. A silent but well supported protest outside brings good publicity. I strongly condemned the mob violence outs Ibrox at the Rickson game on here. The reporters on this subject must have no faith in the majority of the Rangers support.

Agree0 Disagree0

Anyone who turns up at the egm to cause mayhem will only result in it being cancelled we got a big enough spectacle on sky at the protest at hearts game

whenever Rangers travel the neds from mainly outside Glasgow turn up bedecked in union flags and buckfast bottles, these people mainly are not to be seen at Ibrox on a saturday, they congregate yearly on the streets of glasgow with their wee fat burds wae their arses hinging out and sunburnt screaming for a pxxh, and their weans hiding the buckie, we don't want them anywere near London, believe me Rab c did enough damage

Just one question for our ''management'' and senior players----- Why the hell is Aird taking the press calls? Surely he should be taken aside and told to shut the eff up. He is talking as if he knows all the ins and outs. In truth, he is a very fortunate young man to be playing and should count his chickens accordingly.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I agree completely- too many gobs opening up without thinking these days

Billyb:I agree mate,he shouldn't be anywhere near the team like most of them, but what senior player do you suggest pull him up?How about our captain? He's not got a leg to stand on after his wee laugh and joke with Commons at half time.Or McDowall? He's allowing the board to pick the team for him.Who do you think has earned the right in that team to tell him to shut it?

Agree0 Disagree0

Agreed. Aird could well be one of the players who could lose his spot in the team to one of the Newcastle loanees whichh I don't necessarily think is a bad thing. He's a one trick pony when it comes to beating a defender and it rarely works. Might give him added impetus to kick on if he does get dropped. Very little competition pre-transfer window.

Agree0 Disagree0

McCulloch who should be the senior spokesman has probably went in a huff, as he, s probably found out he, s dropped for the faith game

Your right lads he has to do his talking on the park first

Agree0 Disagree0

Billyb it would be better if they took him to the side and taught him how to take a man on, take a corner and how to cross a ball

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

Gkk, You have hit the problem on the head, there is nobody to take charge. We are rudderless both on and off the park. Surely, this is a sign of the level of leadership we have right through the core of our club. Much as I was not a great fan of Walter Smith, the one thing he always had was a captain who held respect, as did he. Our head coach is a joke, our captain is non-existent and our team are overpaid lushes and the board are worse. God help us!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hopefully better times not far away billy, put Airds comments down to his age. At least he seems to give a s**t about this farce.

Agree0 Disagree0

JG, I agree but in our current set up who would be the coach?

Agree0 Disagree0

Can yous not find anything else to moan about except from finding anything to moan about Fraser aird?

Agree0 Disagree0

We must have someone in to the end of the season even wee orange jimmy calderwood would do a job and someone put a sock in airds mouth I would hope he is replaced by one of the loanees

Agree0 Disagree0

10] It is not a moan, it is a fact that our younger players need guidance, both on and off the park and we do not have anyone to keep Aird straight.
If you want to see us moaning you'll find that elsewhere.

Squeaky bum time for Jam Tarts today. I see they won 3-2 with a winner from a penalty in 94 minutes. It ain't over yet. Anyway, I bought 750 shares today via RST so that's my beer money gone for a couple of weeks. lol.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Sorry, just realised that Livingston got the penalty and Hearts were 3-1 up before then. Anyway, not exactly a romp.

Doiger your right mate I think they are just about to implode and with our games in hand and with a little luck they will be caught and now we have these nufc lonees in ( albeit thro assley ) we could put a winning run together and go straight up long shot mind you but I haven't lost hope . Yet

Agree0 Disagree0

You're right Bornblue. We must never give up hope.

Agree0 Disagree0

Doiger hearts need 29 points from 13 games to win the league, that's if we win all our remaining 16 games, including the two against them, never give up hope but realistically it is a big big ask,

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

Squeaky bum time?

You are away with the frank brunos, err, fairies there. Hearts points are in the bag and on the table. We have been promising great runs and wins all season and their run will come to an end blah blah blah.

I am sick to death of our deluded quarter commenting on what will or should be, when we are not doing it on the park. They in a matter of weeks will have, for the first time this season, a full squad to pick from. Their whole season has been ravaged with injuries and suspensions. How on earth do you think it will magically get worse for them with a full squad to use if what they have achieved so far was with a depleted squad that your blue blinkers can not see?

Never give up hope, but never give up sensibility, common sense and reality in the process.

Our team is utter crap I wish every hearts player was in our team they play for there Jersey our team plays for there overpaid wages we won't catch them why anybody can cum on here an say we can are off there trolley

Agree0 Disagree0

As I said hearts are there to be caught get someone in to the end of the season and charge

just for laughs - anyone can google " Charles Green's Irish business connections " it's worth a read. Sadly I worked for this spiv at the Irish firm mentioned. He was a fly by night then, and still is.
Strange how backgrounds are not investigated thoroughly when anyone claims to have cash??

This link on the Stock Exchange website has details of how to arrange to vote or arrange a prox vote:

http://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/news/market-news/market-news-detail/12241662.html

This is an unbelievable company notice. The actual address of the venue for the meeting is conveniently buried way down the page and the open slurs and attacks on King are just pathetic.

I live on the south coast of England so I'll be at the venue on 4th March along with some of my mates!

WATP.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Is all shareholders entitled to go to this regardless of amount of shares they hold?

Agree0 Disagree0

Seems this mob on their way out may have chosen the small London venue in anticipation of hundreds of boozed out Bears converging on proceedings. Don't give them the ammo to have it postponed, quiet dignity in victory should prevail.

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye the boozed up mob will be a credit to our club NOT!!! I hope the louts are no where near the meeting as it would turn nasty & we can do without the negative publicity. But alas I feel this will be another monumental fu# up.

The egm held in London as the rats too scared to hold it on Glasgow

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/rangers/11396950/.html

And the cherry on top easdale and llambias advised to stay away from ibrox. No one should be physically scared to attend Ibrox as I would hope the rangers family have more dignity than physical violence but they don't have the balls to face the vocal anger of the fans. A resounding chant of cheerio cheerio cheerio not to their taste eh.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I have posted regularly on here that at some point we have to put our trust in someone other than the current Easdale coverup. While not totally convinced by King. I think he is our best and quickest option for stability and better football.

It is now critical that every shareholder who wants change either turns up in London to vote or ensures their proxy vote is properly registered. I seem to recall that the previous EGM attempt by Murray/McColl was very confident of success but failed. We cannot leave this to chance. Please all shareholders make sure your votes count

Agree0 Disagree0

Moos I think these people are hoping enough shareholders don't turn up to vote, because they don't want to lose control cause that would mean the new board (dave kings crew)getting to see the books, and seeing every way they have shafted us, so I suggest any shareholder that might not be sure on getting to london, should get in touch of a supporters group (of there own choice) and get the p
Forms filled in giving proxy to said group to vote in there behalf (we need these people out IMHO.
