Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

07 Jul 2016 23:26:50
Apparently looks like american cb won't b offered a contract and that our real transfer target for a striker hasn't been mentioned by the media yet. Buzzing to find out who it is. Ps watched the game last night and we looked sharp and was really impressed with windass. #inwarbswetrust.

07 Jul 2016 22:35:58
Manager now saying our targets for striker are not any of those mentioned, so anyone got other names to throw around.

07 Jul 2016 23:30:58
Suppose you can rule out the following then.

Bradshaw-mentioned extensively in the media.
Vaughan-mentioned in the media.
Ings-mentioned in the media, but knew it was never happening.

Sure there's more. I'd say say Sam Winnall. Not mentioned in the media, has been linked with loads of clubs, hence the secrecy and has a good scoring record in lower division in England.

Can never tell but sure it'll be a signing to top most of our deals up until now maybe even top the Barton one.

Noticed warburton stating he will use some of the youth lads in the league cup games . does anybody care about the league cup anymore? I know its part of a treble but personally i think its not as good as once was and is just a hinderence and more games and we should use it for our fringe players and youth to get 1st team games.

07 Jul 2016 22:30:23
care about every cup although it should be used to give squad players a gane.

07 Jul 2016 22:36:15
We should be looking to win the league cup and any cup we enter! a take it if we get to final and it's against Celtic for instance u won't want to go since it's not good anymore tell that to the 45000 who went to Hampden for the petrofac final against Peterhead a enjoyed that day and that's regarded a diddy cup.

07 Jul 2016 22:12:11
So you basically just said what warburton said.

07 Jul 2016 22:22:06
U can bet that Celtic will want to win all 3 domestic trophies as part of a treble so yes it is important. We haven't won it for a good few years so I don't see why u don't think it's important. Look how many Rangers fans turned up to the Petrofac final.

07 Jul 2016 17:15:06
I was on the club website there and it said Stewart Robertson will not be standing for a place on the spl board, I take it he never got any backing from the other clubs and has decided what's the point in standing if he's not got any backing, looks like the other clubs don't want rangers to have a seat back at the table but want our fans money through their turnstiles.

07 Jul 2016 18:31:06
All the more reasons to not give them a penny.

07 Jul 2016 20:35:02
I woukd not give any of them one thin dime.

07 Jul 2016 19:52:55
Totaly agree. boycot everyone bar kilmarnock and celtic. fans are needed to overcome the green mob.

07 Jul 2016 15:17:02
Fabio delduca? Would you be the delducas who lived in terregles dumbreck?

08 Jul 2016 02:06:31
Yeah well my dad used to stay in one of the flats, howcome?

08 Jul 2016 06:58:12
Is your dad Carlo? I lived there in 70's went to shawlands school the del ducas lived around the back from us I remember the name.

08 Jul 2016 15:03:09
That's my uncle, my dads name is Ronaldo. He had Buongiorno for 20 years or so but is now up in the Mearns in a cafe up there.

08 Jul 2016 19:44:08
wow small world really dunno if your uncle would remember the quinns of terregles crescent i think my brother richard would have known carlo better than me anyway say hello to him i thought he was a CELTIC SUPPORTER btw? heres to a great season.

07 Jul 2016 13:40:18
Did not see the game, but hear that MOH had a great shift in the friendly last night and looked sharp. Know sometimes he splits opinions but I have feeling he will have a sensational season this year. Can't wait.

07 Jul 2016 14:49:35
I watched the game and he was incredible after coming on at half time, played RW and set up the first goal, I think he'll play well this season and should get more of a chance to start.

07 Jul 2016 15:07:29
Yip guys I had a go on here several days ago regarding the same few people who continually berate michael o'halloran and did state to give the guy time as he's still learning the rangers way of playing under warbs, I also said we'll see what a very good player moh is this coming season because there's no doubt he's a very talented footballer and will imo prove that he was well worth the 500k we paid for him in january there, watch this space! For the doubters, have some patience guys!

07 Jul 2016 16:14:40
just look at ally mcoist he didn't hit the ground running at ibrox and Larson took a season to come good for celtic i'm not saying he is gonny turn out like them but u never know he might be the goalscorer we need, he certainly knows where the net is himself!

07 Jul 2016 16:14:54
He was excellent. Beat 2 players easily each time he got the ball and set up the first goal. The team played dome nice football considering and a lot of it came through Windass. He popped up all over the place, ran with the ball at his feet, played clever passes and generally looked very dangerous! Thought Clint deserves a mention too, not a big or quick guy but put his head in and made tackles when it was needed.

07 Jul 2016 16:19:22
So do I mate, think hr was an inspired signing, he could well be a major player for us, i'd like to ser him playing off a tall strong striker, and shooting more.

07 Jul 2016 12:29:41
There's not been much concrete information on transfers lately but lots of names being thrown about.

So is there any chance someone could nip down to the petrol station and see what's happening?

07 Jul 2016 13:45:34
Do Warburton and co travel back today?

If so, do you think we'll here something later today, tonight or early tomorrow?

Press will swarm them on there return, will be very difficult for Warburton to dodge the striker question, or the Grigg question.

07 Jul 2016 14:42:39
I can't see Warburton telling someone waving a microphone in his face what players he'd like to sign.
I guess you never know though.

07 Jul 2016 21:52:46
Hey I'm out and about aw the time fuel up once a day, never caught up wi anyone yet, it's quiet on the petrol forecourts just now but I'm sure as fi it will liven up and get some jucy goss.

07 Jul 2016 12:04:16
Why is every Bear saying that we can't afford Will Grigg at the moment? He joined Wigan for a million. MW knows it'll cost more than a million, at least double realistically.

Why would he go as far as even enquiring if we didn't have the cash? I think most fans who have been watching the last few days are starting to believe we enquired at least.

But loving the speculation though. While back we all thought it'd be a freebie, which it still might. Then it was, we can pay but can't afford 900,000 for Bradshaw, now it's starting to deal with the fact we may be able to pay 2-3 million for a striker. Outstanding. Goes from zero to a hundred in no time at all.

07 Jul 2016 14:15:17
Will Grigg is a good striker ill give him that, but if Rangers are honestly going to splash 2-3 million on a striker then i would look at someone else, 1 million is the max i can see us spending anyway if we even do spend any money.

07 Jul 2016 11:10:23
Although I love the idea of Auchenhowie being named as The Davie Cooper Academy or similar, are we not missing a trick by not looking for a sponsor for the training centre? At least that would be a commercial contract we would have ownership of and ability to manage?

07 Jul 2016 11:39:56
Totally agree.

07 Jul 2016 11:55:30
didn't think of that! give mr king a call please let him know!
I am serious give the man a bell and say to him get emerites to sponsor it! lol.

07 Jul 2016 12:08:20
wouldn't mind if we sold it to a sponsor although the davie Cooper academy has a nice ring to it.

07 Jul 2016 12:41:53
Why would anyone want to sponsor a training ground?

Companies sponsor stadiums because they are on TV regularly, so get reach to customers through the deal. However, this is not true of training grounds.

Perhaps this is the reason King and Co have not yet considered trying to get a sponsor.

07 Jul 2016 13:23:44
Aon sponsor man utds training ground so why would others not want to do the same?

07 Jul 2016 13:36:31
how many times a week do we see on tv Murray Park and hear the name Murray Park? . The naming rights have a commercial value, the club should monetize and create a revenue stream.

07 Jul 2016 15:29:32
I have made contact. It is commercially viable for the right brand and value. Murray Park is currently synonymous with the training facility, correctly done it could be known as something commercially appropriate going forwards. Personally, I'd like to see this happening.

07 Jul 2016 17:26:30
Man utd are totally different, the company sponsors cover everything yo do with them, I said months ago mp should be renamed after Greigy or Coop, or both, and don't forget big colin Jackson, the original and real Bomber.

08 Jul 2016 01:17:41
I can't agree with selling off everything just to make some more cash. The academy should be sacred. What does it say to the young players other than 'its all about money'? It should be the Davie cooper academy. A name that shows them the history and inspires them.

07 Jul 2016 09:32:30
Anyone know if there are any highlights for lastnights game? I wanted to watch it but couldn't and now i'm gutted lol.

07 Jul 2016 11:20:06
Did anyone watch the game, how did onyewu get on?

07 Jul 2016 11:23:23
He looked fairly solid, fell asleep for their goal though.

07 Jul 2016 11:34:01
Laudrup, apparently rather well for someone who hasn't kicked a ball in 15 months. Warburton is apparently thinking of giving him a contract, maybe a 6 month one to get the ball rolling?

07 Jul 2016 12:05:46
Only caught first half hour before my stream crashed, but Onyewu looked comfortable, though untested really. Windass looked really good, much more of a ball player than I was expecting. Can spray passes about with pace and accuracy, and also has a good burst of pace.

07 Jul 2016 12:34:44
Cheers lads i hope he does earn a deal as we need someone good in the air. i also wanted to say that charleston battery, in the interviews, have been thouroughly professional and spoke well about our management and players, top class! roll on 55.

07 Jul 2016 12:44:13
You can't gauge anything from a game against a pub team, other than player's fitness.

Reading anything other than this would be like assessing Usain Bolt's running ability in a race against me.

07 Jul 2016 16:22:24
I agree it wasn't about the result just seeing how well certain people play with others around them!

07 Jul 2016 07:49:03
Watched the game last night (eyes like dugs baws in work this morning ) ok the opposition wasnt the best but i was very impressed with josh windass he looks good on the ball, very pacey, always looked for the ball and finished well.

07 Jul 2016 10:40:29
didn't get to see the match but hopefully we gave the full squad a run out!

did windass stick out the most for you?

how did niko kranjcar play is he the player he used to be still?

07 Jul 2016 10:58:32
Windass had an excellent game, so did MoH. Kranjcar never played mate, he's still recovering from injury.

07 Jul 2016 11:15:08
Kranjcar didn't feature mate, not back t o 100% yet.

07 Jul 2016 11:57:20
cheers guys rossiter isn't over there either is he? so still got potentially the best two players yet to team up with us.

07 Jul 2016 03:16:08
Windass was superb tonight, going to be great to have him and Barton in midfield. He was class going forward and deserved his goal and more.

07 Jul 2016 09:01:15
will grigg will be a rangers player by friday afternoon also expecting another striker through the door before the weekend is over. also expect one or two more to be sent out on loan with dundee united interested in ryan hardie on loan. i would tell them to get to f#ck. anyway cannot wait for season to start.

07 Jul 2016 10:45:49
I hope your right with the other striker aswell as griggs but I hope you are wrong about hardie the boy deserves a shout in the cup games this year i'd say! plus give dumbdee united nothing at all! if he has to go on loan then send him to another league.

07 Jul 2016 03:01:00
Good to see josh windass on the score sheet tonight and Harry forrester as well. Can't wait for the new season.

07 Jul 2016 07:59:49
Why would someone disagree with being happy with our players one new and the other back from injury, do some people within want us to fail or is it just about arguing black is white.

07 Jul 2016 12:09:34
To be honest its probably Celtic supporters disagreeing, was over on their page to have a look at who they might be linked with, and to my astonishment they were more concerned with our friendly last night more than anything. let's just say a large amount of them lost out on a few quid haha, get it right up the lot.

07 Jul 2016 09:57:32
Obviously its moon howlers lurking about clicking disagree, isn't that what they do?

{Ed033's Note - i don't think Wolves fans come onto this page :)

07 Jul 2016 10:47:51
Gary75 it let's you know the dark forces are snooping mate, though it a site for us to give ours views, there are always others at hand trying to kick us, as you must have noticed more so after the last 4/5 years, like women mate, they struggle without us, always remember mate we are people.

07 Jul 2016 11:28:46
Because people like you bite when they do it and that's why they hit disagree button to get a reaction just ignore it.

07 Jul 2016 02:21:50
Anyone got a link for the Charleston Battery Friendly?

07 Jul 2016 10:49:43
Bit late games finished.

07 Jul 2016 12:09:58
