Bears the one thing that Pedro could do that would instantly quash any feelings about his signings and the whole gamble issue is if Ped can get us into the group stages of the Europa Cup! This in its self would make a decent challenge to the tic and finishing 2nd totally acceptable.
No team in our league has qualified for this competition for i don't know how long!
I genuinely believe we can get to the 3rd round then after that we will need the luck of the draw and hopefully this team can do it.

Been thinking and I wonder if McCanns appointment at Dundee was also due to his connections in football? I think it would be beneficial if we are going to loan out some of our youngsters then Dundee would be ideal.
If McCann and also Lee McCulloch come to us then I would be all for loaning them Aiden Wilson Rudden Diamond poss others.
Out of all the young players I would like to see Beerman. Barjonas. Burt. Atayaki and Hardie deserves his chance thus Season.
I would also like to see Dodoo stay but loan him to either Dundee or Killie.

windass doodoo will stay at rangers as they have potenial and mackay is worth 3 million with add ons the waggy 500k garner at least 1 mil as for rest on list they can leave for nothing

I personally think we still need a new RB as Tav is a liability as a defender, I really thought we would have went and got the lad Paterson from Hearts but that's now not happening. Thoughts?

I actually would prefer to see Hodson leave. I think we do indeed need a new RB and wanted Paterson but it's not to be.
I think Tav is better than Hodson and there is clearly a reason he is picked ahead of Hodson all the time.
Maybe we should go for a decent defensive RB and then we could use the player more suited to the formation/ opposition we are against on the day.

Every player for Celtic is as good as Messi though, that is the problem. In truth, we have a long way to catch up with them- and I still believe that they are not a great team. I would hope next season would see us kick on significantly, being far more consistent that we have of late. Losing consistently to a team containing Brown, McGregor, Grithiffs etc is embarrassing.

Credit where credit is due. Celtic went a whole league campaign unbeaten. We cannot be expected to match that next year or get close to it and fielding a whole new team will inevitably lead to some dropped points esp at beginning of season. However, what I do expect us to do is win against the others much more convincingly and close the gap. We should be clear second and make the old firm games competitive. They won't get near the same points tally and hopefully we can apply some pressure on them.

Let's just wait and see. No one has seen any of the new Rangers players and assuming that the team gels we might just be in for a pleasant surprise. We need to keep winning against teams like Hearts, Aberdeen etc., so it comes down to the games between us and them. That way if we beat them then the league is ours! They are not that great when teams go at them as we saw in the first half of the cup final between them and Aberdeen

Fantastic time to be a bear very excited about today's signing Cordoso! Hopefully him and Alves can strike up a good partnership. It's certainly an upgrade to Kieran and Wilson although I think Wilson will be used as backup!

No messing about by Pedro and the board. Alves, Jack, Dalcio and Cardoso all signed, Pena joining pending a work permit, Herrera and Dorrans might drag on a bit, particularly the Dorrans one but early indications are good. Strengthened in key areas (central defence and midfield) and a good mix of ages with Alves having bags of experience, Jack and Cardoso have their best years ahead of them and Dorrans having played at the highest level for the majority of his career.
I can still see a couple on top of the afore mentioned coming in, think going for the likes of Walker and Cummings at this stage would be idea as the pressure would be off these lads with more focus on the more lucrative signings, would let them settle n hopefully develop into key players for years to come.
Rossiter and Kranjcar will be like 2 new signings too and with that our midfield looks (on paper) as strong and competitive as it has done for a number of years. What a great feeling seeing the way we're going about our business in the transfer market. Well done Dave King, the board and Pedro.

I like the way he's going about his signing his first two where what was really needed In our team.
And good on Dave king and the board for backing him quickly and not making him get rid of players before he brings them in shows a lot of commitment from them.
Just hope we can of load a lot of the duds.
Kiernan Halliday forrester waghorn hodson all need too go. In top of hill and senderos and the two loan boys already gone that frees a lot of wages up.
And spending a few million bucks shows we maybe aren't as sling as the likes of the daily rebel would like you too think.
The journey continues getting better one season at a time.

listen guys i don't understand this hatred for forrester i don't think the guy has really been given his chance.
he was very impressive most of the times i saw him but then he wasn't considered better that windass who for me was the bigger flop who didn't go in challenges and was caught in possession more times than i care to remember yet was still picked before him .
to me this means his attitude stinks but i have no proof of this so would like to give him another season

So Bear to me if Pedro does bring in Abella RB and Rebocha LB from a financial point of view we must get shot of either Tavs or Hodson plus when it comes to our LB Wallace may need to go as we cannot sell Beerman but could loan him but don't really want to do that.
