Just how injured is Grezda? Are we talking Achilles or bruised arse?

08 Sep 2018 04:56:16
He just got over a bad ankle injury, he's not match fit yet so that's why he was sent home most likely.

07 Sep 2018 20:00:25
so what are we doing signing a 2m Albanian who hasn't been fit since March? when there were other capable wingers available at Newcastle and Kilmarnock ready to play and for much less signing on fee? doesn't make a blind bit of sense
He may well be top quality in Albania but is of no use on a long term injury table, is his young cousin called Rossiter by any chance.

07 Sep 2018 20:23:38
who did jones end up signing for then? what about rolando aarons? he has been loaned to czech club so we bought a player for 2 mill on a 4 year contract who is not fit don't see a big problem really? and please don't say he has an ankle problem! he is not fit enough end of!

07 Sep 2018 21:17:17
he has been unfit for almost 6 months, just not good enough in my opinion, bear in mind i'm no medical expert but its just an opinion, no need to be abusive or nasty.

08 Sep 2018 05:00:21
He's just over an injury and needs match fitness, that's pretty much it.

We'll probably be seeing him within a month.

Maybe you should chill a little before you toss him on the permanently injured list.

08 Sep 2018 13:15:43
the silence is deafening regarding our injured and not matchfit players. I would like SG to come out with some clarity regarding Coulibaly, Rossiter, Dorrans, Sadiq and now Eros, telling us when we expect to see them competing for first team. I realise he has fitness levels maybe above others, but let us know, instead of weeks away comments.

Everyone lumping on Belgium tonight aye. Lukaku will destroy john sutter lol.

08 Sep 2018 06:18:46
I did, nothing to do with not wanting Scotland to win, I do, just easy money that's all.

07 Sep 2018 09:07:05
I criticised Tav for being out of position for their goal last Sunday but he is a great player going forward and a terrific crosser of the ball. He should play further forward and play Flanagan at right back. Would McCrorie have made a difference sitting just in front of the back four? We didn't deserve anything from Sunday's game as we sat far too deep but I'm sure SG will learn from this.

07 Sep 2018 09:45:27
It's a conundrum. He's a good player and West Brom wanted him. Flanagan is a better defensive right back and Candeias is a better right mid. I don't think Tavernier warrants replacing any of the midfield.

07 Sep 2018 13:31:35
The monster SG created was making Tav the captain. Does he drop his captain and find that flanagan at right back works better as does candieas infront of him. Where does he find a way for his captain he made a big point of appointing in the first team. Am not against Tav as captain at all its just its harder to drop him than if he was say vice captain or just not at all. Still think Shagger should have got it.

07 Sep 2018 07:31:19
Lafferty just back gets let loose with the 55 talk.
Someone please tell him to button his lip! We are a BIG work in progress, so nobody should be mouthing off till we actually do something!

07 Sep 2018 08:15:02
do something? are we not the first british club to get through to the europa league stage from the first round? is that not doing something or is it not enough?

07 Sep 2018 10:44:45
If the players feel they are able to achieve 55 this sean then surely that shows the confidence, belief and unity within the squad? There are also few experienced guys in there to keep everyone grounded, none more-so than SG.
Would rather have them believing in themselves rather than willing to accept 3rd place.

07 Sep 2018 11:58:25
tic played the same as last year with the same effect and no answer from us except we only lost to a dodgy goal. mmmmm progress i'd say, with more to come and any different result going forward will leave this game questionable. plenty to pay for and seasons timplosion still possible.

07 Sep 2018 13:32:42
We all expect them to believe but we are sitting in 7th place and he is blowing about 55.

07 Sep 2018 13:56:09
Finty, we're 7th after 4 games, not 4 left! Get a grip!

07 Sep 2018 14:29:21
get a grip, we have just qualified for europa league group stages, played a lot of football as well as travelling so early on in pre season. qualified europa pre season may i add. the start of league campaign fixtures were a joke, gerrard has done wonders since he took over. once everybody is fit, we are different animal.

07 Sep 2018 14:36:28
Aye Finty, just think, there's only 102 points left to play for.

07 Sep 2018 19:33:22
I actually worry about the mental state of some on here!
You @fintytint are actually worried about being in 7th place after only 4 games? Have you erased the Europa League run from your memory already?

08 Sep 2018 00:11:01
Did I say am worried? Am not worried. Did I say I don’t think we can get 55 this season? No. I think we can. What am saying is I don’t think talking like that in the papers is a good thing. Keep those thoughts in house. Get yourself fired up for games, believe in yourself. I agreed with bar72 were a work in progress and doing all things considered a dam fine job.

07 Sep 2018 06:27:04
I think it may suit tavernier to play 352 but he would still let us down defensively as he would still have defensive responsibilities that he neglects.

07 Sep 2018 08:31:34
These guys are drilled meticulously in training about shape when on the ball and off it. If Tav’s job is to drive fwd then it’s the job of another to fill in those spaces. The space being left in behind Tav needs to be managed better as a team. He’s a massive asset going fwd so let’s use that!
