Celtic's lowest attendance on a Wednesday night compared to Rangers on a Saturday afternoon? Did you get that stat directly from the DR or did you come up with it by yourself?

..................... celtic please do us a favour as we've got trouble up ahead

look after our blessed title, as apparently we're all but dead

but remember this dear foe,it is only for a loan

as we'll be collecting it next season-to take it rightfully home

you say it isnt tainted that you won it fair and square

that your manager was better and your players showed more care

but if that's how you get your kicks and medals for your team

perhaps rangers should be folded so you could live your dream

but thats not going to be the case as rangers will live much longer

coming back fighting fit growing ever stronger and stronger

so i hope you enjoy this moment there wont be many more

as glasgow rangers are the only team in the world to have won 54.....fact

that is all.....jsm

The premier league title has finally came home
To the stadium across from the Veladrome
It is where it belongs and where it will stay
Until you sort out your debts and your tax you must pay
We'll display it with pride next to the BIG cup
You said it is tainted, we said STFU
You say we are all doomed, a strong Rangers we need
A club full of hatred, bigotry and greed
Out of the hellhole your in, please don't hurry
We all know what happens if he's another David Murray
Whether he comes from the east, or comes from the west
It'll be many a year before you sing "Simply the .....

Agree7 Disagree8

Jsm please inlighten me as to how & why rangers will be 1) be here next year as there's no buyer yet neither the thought of going down the tubes can't go away yet 2) rangers have half a team as it is & even tho they have took wage cuts & come June 1st if D&P are still there or Whyte then there off?

54 league titles yes.....in a Scottish league I'm sure the likes of real Madrid, barca, bayern etc alllll crap them when they draw against the team with the most league titles LOLOL

Anyway champions 2012 & yesterday Celtic oldest player was 27..... What was rangers ?

Anyway away to eat jelly & ice cream

Agree3 Disagree4

The championship this year the Celtic did win
Your cry of "its tainted" is wearing very thin
You lost the league title to add to your woes
With Mr Neil Lennon in charge of your foes
You are still bitter and twisted of this we all see
On the brink of extinction thanks to the HMRC
Why should we not gloat and act all pally
We despise your team and especially fat sally
If however a pheonix club arises from the ashes
We hope it warps your drums and burns your sashes
I write these things but its only a laugh
Like when you say we all need a bath
To extend the hand of friendship would be proper
We are too scared to do it in case you ask for "spare copper(s)"

How jsm...how will you do this ? I think it'll start with who you can hold onto in the summer, assuming you make it to the summer. What if say..McGregor, Naismith & Davis go ?

"The Big Hoose" must stay open and that is a fact
Dipping the till, Whyte was caught in the act
You showed him the red card to show he must go
"I own 85% so the answer is no!"
Along comes Bill Miller, a man from the states
"He's got shedloads of money" to keep open then gates
Look into his past in case he's a Walter Mitty
Remember Craig Whyte, who left you feeling so s**tty
To find a new chairman don't be in a hurry
This mess your in started with David Murray
Accept the bid from Ng, the man from singapore
He'll save your club and keep open your door
Give him 2 or 3 years you'll rise to the top
Give Ally the chance to prove he's no flop
Cause Craig Whyte is an a**ehole, who thinks its funny
To buy up your club with feck all money
He lied to the fans, he lied to your team
He turned into a nightmare what should have been a dream.
But again he appears shouting "what about my stake?"
I'll give you back your quid, now f*** off for f*** sake!

Well its hard to say as a bear but celtic deserved their title. Wats surprised me though is the continued hostility that the resident fools (you know who) have continued to spout. Take your win with good grace and humility and accept our congrats. Its time for you to act like champions of Scotland not bitter children. Or is the only victory your going to be pleased with the end of Rangers? CheltBlue

Believable15 Unbelievable4

There's been a fair bit of hostility too from some Rangers fans, without much provocation either in many cases. Ungracious winners and losers it seems, tarnishing both sides.

1903

Agree2 Disagree0

Without provocation? Is this the only post you've read? Agree with you about there being tarnish on both sides though 1903. duccablue

Agree0 Disagree0

'Without much provocation in many cases' suggests that in others there was some, surely?

1903

Agree1 Disagree0

Surely the OP's post was aimed at the hate spewing, gloating, only happy in others pain crowd and not the vast majority of decent Celtic fans. Decent fans are not being attacked and do not need you to come to their defense, the others don't deserve to be defended.

Or do you have a different take on it 1903?

Agree0 Disagree0

#4: my take wasn't about defending, merely commenting on the unfortunate hostility that comes from both sides; not a response to the OP but an addition, I guess.

So what happens next?

I reckon we need to know asap the outcome of the "big tax case" or more importantly the 3 remaining bidders need to know.

I think we all know it's not going be good news, best we can hope for is being found not guilty on some of the charges (and maybe not being liable for as much back tax or penalties).

Things must be brought to a head soon.

Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst.

The D&P report reveals that since Rangers went into administration - some six weeks ago - the club has lost more than £2.5m.
The £134m potential debt figure revealed, does not include liabilities to employees, including the playing staff whose contracts revert to their original terms on 1 June.
If these playing staff contracts are to be honoured, the potential £134m liability will rise by a further significant amount.
Can someone guesstimate how much more the players wages will add to the final bill by 1st of June? And wii there be players leaving on or before 1st June? It's worrying £2.5 million in six weeks even after major wage cuts!

It seems the tainted title remark is the only straw left for the terminally ill bears.. seems a bit ironic as in WHEN not if they are found guilty of fielding ineligible players all games in which they participated will be 3.0 against them(as in SION this season)..the deluded fans will disregard this, but the sfa wont get to brush this under the carpet, with UEFA keeping a close eye on everything that has went on!so a good few TAINTED titles will be removed from ibrox...all still hanging there faint hopes on a takeover!today its AMERICAN tycoons(hey at least be the LOAN RANGERS)..IF they looked at reality for a moment the debt could reach nearly a fifth of A BILLLION!!(when not if tax case goes against them),a big turn around from we only owe the bank 18million,then bank debts cleared were sorted!!as for the REAL DELUDED look at the comedy gold still being churned out...be back stronger next year millions to spend be 10 in a row!nfl games at ibrox...huge concerts...watp f ck the debts no our fault...boycott all companie we owe....shows the arrogance& yet IM DELUDED....lamo..STEVO...p.s,all little bear cubs dont be spitting your dummies out...GBNL ILWT

I think you will find that Mr Lennon and Mr Lawwell have shown the finest example of how to succeed in a very stagnant league. Mr Lennon has revolutionised the Scottish game with his cavalier free flowing football after years of watching the 'anti-football' served up by a geriatric in a cardigan and his protege Slug McCoist. The flamboyant and loveable Mr Lawwell has shown the way to build a successful team, a team of CHAMPIONS no less without spending money, especially money that the CHAMPIONS don't have. Mr Lennon's title winning CHAMPIONS oldest player was only 27, Gazelle Samaras and all of them have a great sell on value. I think everyone must agree that Mr Lennon, Mr Lawwell and everyone connected with THE CHAMPIONS should be proud of their achievements this season. The way Mr Lennon and Mr Lawwell have carried out their duties this season is a credit not only to the CHAMPIONS, but to mankind as a whole. These pioneering men have shown football the way forward and are wonderful examples of everything that is good in this world. GBMNL (God Bless Mr Neil Lennon)

rusty the tim here!!ok rangers fans im going to try and write this easy for you's to understand but theres a good chance you's wont!!rangers are in a bad way! agreed?so if a cva is agreed wheres the money going to come from to buy these million pound players and give them 20'000 pound etc wages??not a chance, scottish football has no money, celtic are only surviving because they put a good buisness plan in place a few years back..they only spend what they bring in or can bring in ie sell on value of great players likes of mulgrew, rogne, mathews, ledley, stokes, hooper, sammi, brown, kayal,ki, etc there all great players who are all valued at over 7million.yes celtic have got debt but 1 player going would wipe that and our great support pay for there big wages..so tbk have 10mill for a cva ok,wheres the millions for spending to make you's bigger, better, stronger??share issue, rfff shows you's are willing to put into the club..pml i would love to see craig whyte back to see all the die hard rangers players walk and the big l to happen to see you die hard supporters walk!!!we dont do walking away!! take the blue goggles off and put your normal glasses on and realise rangers are a business and will be run that way and if it means the big l then it will be,if you's are so dead against it stop moaning put into the rfff raise 134 million pay debt then run the club. hail hail glasgow celtic champions, glasgows green and white,o the 5* are coming off!!!rusty we can see you walking away the tim

Just spent a leisiurely couple of hours
reading the Sunday papers, so after
revelling in the magnificent Celtic
winning the league so easily... I turned
to all the "experts" on Rangers chances
of a CVA. There was as usual all
different opinions, but one thing all
agreed on was to make a CVA attractive
for everyone including HMRC a minimum
of £25m must be pledged by bidders.
All 3 main bidders have only offered
between £10/£12m which equates to
10p in the £, going on those figures
HMRC would only get £7m back. As they
already turned down an offer of £10m
months ago this is a no go.
The bigger £25m would give HMRC
about £15m back, so to get HMRC
on side all 3 bidders will need to
double their offers.
Looks like some serious talks need
still to take place.... Timalloy

Believable6 Unbelievable5

When did hrmc knock back 10 mill ?? U ave no proof

Agree2 Disagree4

David Murray made the offer last year well documented in every paper not just tabloids.,.... thats why it is felt that the case is lost and HMRC are going for the jugular..£10m even more than a projected CVA might generate therefore HMRC confident of a much much payday

Agree2 Disagree0

Utter rubbish again if Rangers go into liquadation then secured creditor (?? whyte) gets his £30mill players/staff become secured creditors (TO MAKE 75% save £1 million wages must be at least 16mill ayear)x5 year contract =80 million total 110 mill at least assets 120 mill leaves at most 10 MILL and we have 8mill in debenture scheme who could be classed as secured creditors leaving £2mill for prefered creditors and thats only if you get full asking price in a fire sale HMRC will bite our hand off for 10p in the pound

Agree1 Disagree1

HMRC don't do CVA deals with companies that haven't been paying tax. In addition, HMRC might just say no to any deals to lay down a marker to football clubs and companies in the future as a warning. You may all disagree but nothing's out of the realms of possibility.

Only the teams like dunfermline who set thier budget on having Celtic Or Rangers visit thier ground would suffer, but it wouldn't be too bad for them because they would know if they are going to have that money coming in at the start of the season and would budget accordingly. Well done Celtic for finally stumbling over the line! As for next season, well hopefully the rumours are true and Lennon is going to stay because we need to hit the ground running and I feel that Super Ally has the measure of your man. So enjoy your weakend and lap it up because 2 trophys in 2 years at the peak of your game with players worth 10's of millions in your squad does not Champion material make!

Believable11 Unbelievable13

Wake your talking rubbish, its going take at least 3 to 5 years for rangers to get going again.

Agree3 Disagree3

Rusty the champion tim!!how can youy say my squad is worth 10's of millions of pounds???we got them cheaper than you thought!depending on who you read there value is ?? there only worth what a club will pay for them and if you put rangers best 11 and celtic best 11 you'll see there buying price rangers have spent more!!!tainted title??so if rangers tax case goes against them does that mean in the years they abused ebt's does that mean they titles are ''tainted'' hail hail rusty the laughing tim p.s how many trophys has ally won as manager???

Agree4 Disagree5

Hmmm 2 trophies in 2 years? Isn't that what Rangers have done? And here's me thinking winning the league makes you the champions. And as for tainted titles and administration, and the 'burden' carried by Rangers prior to Christmas. NOT ONE of us thought you would go into admin outwith the BTC. We all knew it would be at least April before a result was known. So there was no burden. What cost you was injuries to Lafferty and Naismith, and Jelavic's desire to move on. Without those three and combined with poor form you dropped enough points to allow Celtic back in. There was no reason for Rangers not to be 9 points clear going into the Derby at Parkhead. We did the business, you didn't.

GoldCoastBhoy

Agree7 Disagree2

I think you only won last season because you had an experienced manager and we didn't. It wasn't a fair fight lol

Sorry troops. Now this is only my
opinion. I honestly believe the Hoops
title win was severely helped by the
situation at Ibrox. Yes a 15 point
(technically 9) lead was given up. People
will argue that this happened before
administration kicked in. Administation
was hanging over Ibrox long before it
actually happened. Couple that with
the injury (which i admit was self
inflicted) to Naismith. I dont think
Celtic are a particularly good side and that
has been proved in recent weeks. which
doesnt say much for the rest for Scottish
football. Rangers blew them off the park
3 weeks ago in a game Tic really had to win
(despite what some might say)
In a nutshell, the Naismith injury aside
had this been a "normal" run of the mill
season. Rangers would have run away
with it.

I'm a gers fan and I think your talking nonsense, if Celtic win last 5 games they will have 96 points, how many points would gers have got without deduction? Is go for 83 max, so away back to back and put your dummy back in, you sound like a Celtic fan when they lose. P.S. Lenny and miko your a joke, your nowhere to be seen for 3 weeks and then all of a sudden your back on yesterday again.

Agree5 Disagree0

Well said that man,
not to mention we had to sell our top striker yet again and also missing lafferty leaving us without any strikers and in general a threadbare squad to choose from

Agree1 Disagree5

A game Celtic had to win? Could you explain why?

Take the lemon oot yer mooth! lol

Did you see the chances mr laughalot had yesterday the guy is a joke and you love him . i would have scored at least one of them and i am 67.......b

I wish all the Bears on here would stop spouting pure p##h about how sceptic were handed the league. Even if they were it's our club's fault, that mob done nothing wrong. Do you realise how bitter you come across with this stuff. Anyone spouting on about tainted titles and that can't be a real, true Gers fan, real fans wouldn't lower themselves to that level. Its probably dhims on here stirring it, no true Bear would stoop so low. RTID

Agree2 Disagree2

No strikers lol we had 9 out injured yesterday,as for the lack of players you cant even afoard the ones you have ,pay your bills and dry your eyes

Agree3 Disagree1

Mika, Celts HAD to win it for the GIRFUY factor. All they had to do was play "the Celtic way" for 90mins to win the league at the home of the bitterists rivals and they BOTTLED it. Played off the park.

Agree1 Disagree2

Lol, what a load of codswallop. I think we all know Rangers needed it way more than Celts!

.....and I think your club could learn a lot from our total football, instead of your usual "anti-football" style - not my words BTW!

Happy Easter!

I love this club with everything I have but I'm in real financial difficulty myself and I was awarded around £3000 in pip claimant charges and I have donated £1000 of that to the fighting fund even though I could be doing with the money to pay off debtors my wife isn't happy but she doesn't understand fitba and what the famous Glasgow rangers means to me we need to keep.the club alive but if the club does go under I WANT MY MONEY BACK as I have piled enough cash into the club over the years by way of match briefs ect I have also on occasion booked the Ibrox tours and donated the tickets as I feel others should realise what our great club is about but I will always support Rangers fc 1872 " the gallant pioneers" bit I.refuse to support a newco fc as it couldn't be the club I was brought up to support and have done all my life and things are so bad that I have actually started to look for other clubs to support and I have whittle it down to arsenal, spurs, westham, motherwell or sunrise surprise Crusaders FC North Belfast S this is my local team but I M Scottish and.the 1872 bears will.always be my club but I would invite all descent fans over to watch the Crues as they are the most exciting team in NI IAOOTP "I AM ONE OF THE PEOPLE"

Believable4 Unbelievable10

I'm sorry, but you're a fool! No wonder your wife's ragin, I'm a Celtic supporter and I would NEVER put the club before my family - and I love Celtic!

Agree5 Disagree2

If the club goes under how are you going to get your money back? Are you a real fan? You don't even know the name of the cub you profess to support...

Agree2 Disagree0

The OP here is a disgrace of a human being. To make your family go without is despicable. People scrimp and scrape to provide what they can for their loved ones and you put a football team in front of them? You are one sad and twisted person, if your wife has any sense she will pack her bags and take the kids to a place where they can be unconditionally looked after, not just when your football team doesn't need money.

Whos glasgow rangers ?? They r no such team

in ten years when we look back on this season, do you think neil lenn+n will be remembered as the manager that won the league when rangers were in administration? by the way, well done celtic, yous are worthy champions!!!

Believable5 Unbelievable10

Honestly...no

I think it will be remembered as the year he had a really bad start to the season.that bad of a start if killie went 4-0 up he was going to quit, then lost 9 players or so through injury, pulls back a 15 point lead, goes top of the league BEFORE rangers enter admin & then in April wins the league by beating killie 6-0 with celtics oldest player on the park only being 27 which is Sami.

Celtic lost nearly every player in the starting 11 over this season rangers lost Naismith through injury because 5 min before his injury he tried to wipe a Aberdeen player off the park & karma came back & got him & look what happened ? Naismith out for months jelavic spits the dummy & says he wants to go then then the rest is history. Also even rangers legend said during the transfer window if rangers sell jelavic the leagues over & that's even before admin was even spoke about.

Lenny

Agree8 Disagree8

Am I right in thinking you truly believe the only team who could have been 'worthy' winners of the league this season are rangers ? Its not tainted my deluded friend its TINTED GREEN & WHITE :-)

Agree7 Disagree5

No Lennon will be known as the manager who won the league despite the threat of bomb and bullet. GBNL

Agree7 Disagree7

Not the victim card AGAIN please stop i'm filling up here pft!

Agree2 Disagree6

I think some celtic fans come on our site with blinkers on, we ( Rangers were always going to get to this point ( losing the league) walter smith win us leagues with less and less money and a lower calibre of player being bought but this year with a calibre of players like ortiz and bedoya coming in they wouldnt even stand out playing for dunfermline. Craig Whyte is a secret celtic fan he even sent some of our better young boys out on loan when we needed them most.

Agree0 Disagree6

#5: Ah, the myth about no money for Sir Cardigan. Keep it up and you'll eventually believe it.

Agree4 Disagree0

I think it will be a season remembered for Mr Lennon becoming a successful manager. After being a successful player and captain it was the natural progression for Mr Lennon to be a successful manager, especially at his beloved Celtic. I think it will also be a defining moment in Slug McCoist's career, after throwing away a 15 point lead and his poor record in Europe, not to mention the transfer market, no new owner will have any trust in Slug or his methods, even Mr Whyte didn't want him as manager, which shows that as well as his brilliant business brain, Mr Whyte also knows his stuff when it comes to on the field as well. I fully expect Slug to be back working as a media pundit next season, he has firmly been put in his place by Mr Lennon, who has conducted himself in a manner befitting the manager of THE CHAMPIONS. The humility, dignity and class that Mr Lennon has shown throughout his tenure as THE CHAMPIONS manager is a shining example of how other young managers should go about their business. Slug McCoist could learn alot from watching Mr Lennon and the fine manner in which he conducts himself.

Agree5 Disagree2

No it will be remembered as Fat Sally's disastrous venture into management. 15 point lead thrown away and now trail by 18. A 33 point swing to the other team, unheard of in modern football. When Sally fails again next year, how many of you will still be telling us he is a great manager?

Agree3 Disagree0

How many times does it need to be said the Rangers did not drop a 15 point lead it was 9 points RANGERS dropped.
