For our league cup game against peterhead tomorrow this would be my starting line up
Gilks
Hodson, kiernan, wilson, wallace
Forrester, barton, holt
O'halloran, dodoo, mckay
thoughts on this line up fellow bears?

08 Aug 2016 21:15:15
Got to be the team tomorrow. Think Warburton said Rossiter would feature though. Maybe have him in place of Holt or Barton. Apart from that, ideal line up.

08 Aug 2016 21:15:22
Rossiter has to start.

08 Aug 2016 21:16:20
Looks good - hope they click and score many goals.

We need to find the core team for the long run.

08 Aug 2016 21:23:40
Hopefully Rossiter, Forrester, MOH, Holty and Dodoo start!

08 Aug 2016 21:24:34
Think Rossiter will start.

08 Aug 2016 21:38:29
Rossiter would be the first name on the team sheet for me and generally I quite like that team since there is little we can do at present about our centre back pairing. I would however be tempted to rest McKay and play Forrester out wide with Holt coming in to the midfield.

In fact that would also be my starting team for the weekend unless we have signed a centre back!

08 Aug 2016 22:08:26
Warbs 15 when you say this would be your starting line up do you mean what you'd like or what you think it will be? If it's what you'd like then fair enough but MW has said Jordan Rossi ter will start and I think he should so I would play him where you've put Harry but I think we played with more pace and dynamism when he and MOH came on on Saturday and so I'd start Harry and put Barrie on the bench. Think Bazza is a great wee player but he was well marked by Gillespie and with our greater depth of squad as has been said if you're not on top of your game you risk losing your starting place. Hopefully this team will click and make a strong claim as the starting line up against Dundee.

08 Aug 2016 23:10:26
I would agree W15. I really hope O'Hallorran gets a run in the starting 11 also. Really rate the guy!

09 Aug 2016 10:39:36
Considering how off the pace Krancjar looked on Saturday, how can he NOT play? Surely he needs games and against weaker opposition he should play. He will be one of the higher wage earners and does is no good not playing.

09 Aug 2016 11:12:13
Agree with the Kranjcar comment.

Wouldn't mind seeing him start tonight. Hopefully get a goal or two or create a couple of chances.

Can't see him start at Dundee though. Doubt he'd start three games in a week of his fitness isn't up to scratch. Dundee is a game we need to be up for and no passengers can be on board when we steam role them.

09 Aug 2016 11:24:32
Team I want to see.

Gilks

Hodson, Kiernan, Wilson, Wallace

Kranjcar, Rossiter, Holt

O'halloran, Dodoo, Forrester

Reasoning, Kranjcar needs games for fitness, Rossiter needs to start being brought into the fold, Mckay needs the shock of being benched for 2/ 3 games has been below par, O'halloran and Dodoo should be starting games just now to give the team pace and energy, also Holt adds that midfield dynamism that was lacking against Hamilton.

08 Aug 2016 21:25:07
I'd agree with most of that I do think Warbs will play kranjcar to get him another game under his belt to get his match sharpness up though.

Think it will be
Gilks
Tav keirnan Wilson hodson
Rossiter Barton
Kranjcar
Dodoo miller forrester.

08 Aug 2016 20:53:20
gabby abgonlahor---hes on a free---ok shoot me doon.

08 Aug 2016 21:06:01
No shoot down but I really don't rate that guy as a player, hugely over rated with very few season's where he made any real impact, got by on his pace which is receding quicker than his arse is growing.

08 Aug 2016 21:19:35
However, we are talking about him playing in Scotland where the skillsets, are unfortunately not the same anymore.

08 Aug 2016 21:40:01
Can think of few strikers with no pace and a big arse that have succeeded Scotland.

09 Aug 2016 10:35:40
I'd shoot him down if he came anywhere near Ibrox.

09 Aug 2016 13:35:00
Click click, bang.

You asked for it.

08 Aug 2016 20:45:40
Although I had been told weeks ago that under armour were going to be taking over from puma as our new kit makers dave king was quoted in newspapers this morning that moving to another kit maker while a legal wrangle is going on would be very highly unlikely, basically pouring cold water on that happening although he did say he still hoped to sort a deal out with puma over the next few weeks as he thinks they're unfortunate to be caught in the middle with us and sports direct, failing that it would be more likely that we'd make our own kits, if this is the only way forward just now I'd be all for that as it guarantees the club would stand to make a lot of money on kit sales as our supporters would buy it in their droves especially as the money would be going directly into our club, this will be fascinating to see how this one pans out.

08 Aug 2016 21:22:07
Who would want to enter into a manufacturing contract at the moment with RFC when litigation looms on the horizon at every turn - unfortunately that type of business is a poison chalice for any company looking to make a profit.

09 Aug 2016 13:36:29
Wb15 have you ever considered a career in creative writing? I salute your imagination.

08 Aug 2016 20:05:50
Stated on here many times over the last year and even though warbs has made very good signings for our midfield I'll state again that as far as I'm concerned wee jason holt would NEVER be out the rangers midfield, he's very direct and the linkman from middle to front in our team, he's our iniesta if you like as he plays the same role for Barcelona that wee holty plays for rangers, rate him very highly as he's a cracking wee player, the best 65k we're ever likely to spend!

08 Aug 2016 20:24:11
Great player last season and sure will prove his quality this season. Pity he was injured for a couple of the LC matches. Would expect hime to figure against Peterhead.

08 Aug 2016 20:28:36
Spot on really hope he plays soon maybe tomorrow lol😆.

08 Aug 2016 21:39:45
To me there is no one in our midfield that has the work rate or spark as wee Holt we need him in the team.

08 Aug 2016 21:40:06
Holt would be in my starting eleven alongside Rossiter and Barton way ahead of Halliday!

09 Aug 2016 08:24:41
While Holt has been a good player for us I don't think you can mention him and Iniesta in the same sentence. Your comparing a guy who did well in the 2nd tier of Scottish football to a guy that has won everything at the very top of the world game and can be argued would get into a best ever world 11.

09 Aug 2016 11:28:19
Holt is a great we player, for me he went off the boil at the tail end of last season like many players but I still hope he gets involved sooner rather than later, we need his industry in there. I think Windass will nail down that 3rd spot in midfield eventually though so it might be hard for him t be a regular starter, unless Windass is also used as a wide player.

08 Aug 2016 21:33:26
You don't realise how good jason holt is until he isn't in the team. Wee guy has the heart of a lion and always finds those wee spots in the box to score goals from midfield. Very underrated.

08 Aug 2016 17:37:38
I think a lesson from Hamilton was that Rossiter should fill the DMF role and Joey can be deployed further forward and would expect that to be in place against Dundee at the weekend.

Against Peterhead think MOH, Dodoo and Forrester can all put themselves in frame for starting formation against Dundee.

08 Aug 2016 21:41:34
I hope that you are correct reference Rossiter and Barton and I am 100% with you reference the Peterhead game. Indeed I would start with these three guys against Dundee ahead of Miller, McKay and Halliday!

08 Aug 2016 19:42:13
Joey has a good shot on him aswell and tidy on the ball so is more capable playing further forward as long as he has a holt, kranjcar or forrester to help him out, that way rossiter can play his natural deeper role.

08 Aug 2016 17:27:05
I still think the player Warburton should go for in defence is Joel Ekstrand. Cracking defender if he could stay fit.

08 Aug 2016 21:08:50
Benny, ekstrand would b a cracking signing.

08 Aug 2016 19:39:59
Someone at that level etc a premier league defender would be ideal.

08 Aug 2016 15:42:30
Been looking at the stats of CF Samed Yesil, realize he's not played at the top level but 68 goals in 119 games plus 13 assists is pretty impressive. Player is unattached so hopefully our manager and head scout are maybe thinking about him. Yeh he's still young but could turn into a real gem. IMO any thoughts from fellow bears.

{Ed001's Note - has a real problem with injuries. I was really excited about him when Liverpool signed him, but he has barely been able to play footie since then due to injury. I don't think he will ever be fully fit.}

08 Aug 2016 15:36:22
Let's not panic fellow bears. The manky mob were lucky yesterday as per. Yes rangers wernt good enough. But let's just hope it was one of those games. we won't win them all just like the dark side. A good result against Dundee and all will be forgotten. And for all the **** who are wondering what #55 means. it means we are going for our 55th title as a club (as well u know, I know it must be confusing for the simple people who support the septic) and the obsessed just can't handle the fact that the club they hate most are back where we belong and of course are the most successful club in the world. Argue it with uefa not yourselves. # #55.

08 Aug 2016 15:57:50
They still ended up with three points so we are already trailing them. With the amount of the play we had we should have won against Hamilton with goals to spare. We can see that, Mr Warburton can see that and the only way that we will finish in the top two is if we invest and quickly in a centre back and a striker that are significantly better than what we have just now. At least when Crooks is back we can always hope that he can play at centre back although that might be a waste of his talents but the two incumbents from Saturday should be no where near the team. As for the striking role, Miller simply is not the answer any more and we need someone that has youth, experience and an eye for goal. That said, there are players that can score that were not in the starting line up on Saturday and players where the 'big league' was all too much for them. Neither Halliday or Krancjer looked fit for purpose and McKay didn't want to know. It will be a long season. King has made it plain that anything other than top two is unacceptable so we need the players to get us there.

08 Aug 2016 16:48:28
They may have been lucky but Sinclair is a decent player and that's why we need to invest in 2-3 players of quality- because that's what turns a draw into a win.

08 Aug 2016 17:02:47
If Scott Sinclair is what you get for £4 million then I'd rather have freebies! Villa didn't want him, he's just a cash greedy journeyman with average ability as his career suggests! i'd rather have Windass any day!

08 Aug 2016 17:14:40
People need to calm down a bit I think. Yes we need a CB and a striker but I'm 100% sure that we'll get one. MW and FmcP are not silly, they will be working tirelessly on a number of targets, trying to get the right ones in. Those two positions aside I still think we have a great squad this year, and one that will compete for the title.
End of the day it was a bad two points to drop on Saturday but it's not the end of the world and if anything will probably speed things along on the transfer front.
Once the transfer window closes I'm sure we'll all be happy with the squad.

08 Aug 2016 18:22:21
Stop getting yer knickers in a twist abt sinclair. villa r stinking and they don't want him. he scored a goal on the breakawy big deal.

08 Aug 2016 21:46:06
Problem is that with our two centre backs we will lose quite a few goals on the break, forget about Sinclair but let's not kid ourselves that he is a bad player! We shouldn't worry about anyone if what recbob says comes to pass but we really do need to sort out the centre of our defence if we are to be anywhere close to Champions come next May!

08 Aug 2016 18:02:45
its all right saying don't panic but if u look at every game individually the hamilton wa one that should have been 3 points our next game is not away to dumbarton its away till dundee which will be tricky after 2 games we could be 5 points behind the pack.

08 Aug 2016 22:14:30
7 wins from the last 16 games is woeful form. Playing against SPL clubs week in week out won't be a stroll in the park. Everyone from msm too pundits etc have written off all the other SPL clubs and it's between cfc and Rfc. Attitudes like that are arrogant and disrespectful to the rest of the club's. .

08 Aug 2016 14:46:00
Oduwa and Ball were loaned on around 10th August.

If were getting a loan signing or two soon, going by these dates, we may have them ready for Dundee.

Can only wait and see I suppose.

08 Aug 2016 18:25:02
The cb we get in needs to be a certain starter not sum1 to "challenge" kiernan and wilson. if so we're in trouble. i think this will b our most important signing of the summer, we need to get it right🙏.

08 Aug 2016 16:53:02
I'd take ball back but we need a big strong cf who can ruffle the defenders and take chances.

08 Aug 2016 14:05:04
I am going to be very disappointed if we don't get at least one good defender in. The defence we have just now is simply not good enough to mount and sustain a challenge for the title.

08 Aug 2016 14:48:27
Be disappointed of we don't sign at least three more players given Waghorn injury.

A centre forward, two centre backs.

08 Aug 2016 16:16:20
That would be ideal thorn but a good centre half is paramount.

08 Aug 2016 18:51:49
Our wingers need to start getting the ball in quicker and stop cutting back because it just give cbs time to get goalside again. get the ball in quick when ther running towards ther own goal.

08 Aug 2016 16:53:38
But 2 would be better.

08 Aug 2016 11:10:22
I. Think MW has got a selection headache for deciding his best midfield and attacking line. More so midfield. Andy player that is in the slightest off boil should be benched for the next game and others ie; forester and MOH who have been doing well keep there place. With Rossister looking hungry and Widnass and Dodoo keen and eager players like Miller can't be less than a 100% anymore. ImO Hill should not be played unless desperate. Looked way off pace, Krankjar not played until fully fit making him keen to get on the park. Watching clips of hearts and them yesterday Hamilton is just the start of it as they both looked better than Hamilton and we couldn't score or create all day.

08 Aug 2016 11:26:25
Think Rossiter should play the holding role with Barton and Halliday the advanced midfield roles.

08 Aug 2016 11:55:11
Would play Holt before Halliday.

08 Aug 2016 12:14:51
Halliday no way. we need abit of zip in there and he's just not got it. takes to many touches and forever getting caught in possesion.

08 Aug 2016 12:36:10
My Team V Peterhead

Gilks
Hodgson (LB) (Wallace deserves a rest)
Wilson
Rob K
Tav
Rossiter
Forester
Holt
Windass (Same reason as Wallace regarding McKay)
Dodoo
O'Hall.

08 Aug 2016 13:52:08
I don't understand I know we had a hactic ten days buy if people need a rest at the beginning of the season they shouldn't be professional athletes. to i'd keep Wallace and McKay in my team.

08 Aug 2016 13:58:06
my team would now be ; matt gilks
tav Kiernan Wilson Wallace

rossietr

forrester holt

moh McKay

dodooo

if holt is unfit then windass!
id much prefer to have to better center backs but that the way its going to be this season as we can't afford to spend any money which suprises me as I really believed we would be backed by the bord in this transfer window so we could come back with a good chance of actually winning the title.

08 Aug 2016 14:25:34
Windass has more chance of being unfit than Holt. If you are going to be posting these teams all the time at least keep up to date with who is actually fit/ unfit or recovering etc.

08 Aug 2016 16:36:54
whats wrong with windass? just2see and I was talking ingeneral as holt has been out with and injury for a while and I saw windass play couple weeks ago so what is worng with him? my point I was making is that the two quality signings that we made for me just aren't up to scratch as yet think they will be but aren't yet so shouldn't get a game.

08 Aug 2016 22:29:15
Windass is a definitely no-no for 2moro as he's not trained since east stirling game. prob won't even b fit for sat.

08 Aug 2016 13:23:59
Dodoo has got to start I'd give Barton a rest but I'd play niko just to get his fitness up to speed as he looks a mile off the pace as for the rest of the team I'm not sure.

08 Aug 2016 17:47:25
Windass has done his hamstring. He and Crooks both have bad history of injuries.

08 Aug 2016 11:01:07
Is the game on tv/ live stream 2moro night? can't make it due to my boss not giving me the night off (typical Tim being an idiot)!

08 Aug 2016 12:34:46
Vipleague. mobi.

08 Aug 2016 15:02:10

Cheers lads.

08 Aug 2016 10:57:15
Contacted Puma last week when the news on the replica kits broke. Attached is response received this morning. Think this means we purchase no replica kit or puma products from any sporting outlets.

We are sorry you feel this way. We respect your decision and would like to take the opportunity to let you know that PUMA is releasing replica kits into the market in full compliance with the Sponsorship and Licensing Agreement PUMA has with Rangers Retail Limited (RRL) - (a joint venture between Rangers Football Club (RFC) and Sports Direct plc (SDI) ) .
The kits were actually designed in collaboration with Rangers Football Club over a period of months and final approval was received from the club last year in line with production schedules. The playing kit was delivered to the club, and the players have played all pre-season friendlies in this kit.
PUMA's agreement with RRL remains in full effect. Accordingly, after taking legal advice, PUMA continues to uphold its contract with Rangers Retail Limited and has fulfilled its obligations to manufacture and deliver the kits to the playing and coaching staff, as well as to PUMA's retail customers with the knowledge of all parties, including RFC.

We wish the team the very best of luck in their return to the Scottish Premiership.
It's set to be an exciting season for both you and the club.

08 Aug 2016 16:05:41
I am sure it is a standard reply but they must know that any self respecting Rangers fan will not buy while that sleazeball Ashley is ripping off the club. Just a shame that they and every other company that has the misfortune of dealing with that louse do not terminate their contracts with him! At least Greaves has the self respect to do what is right for Rangers.

08 Aug 2016 17:05:55
Agree TOM42 Greaves who have proven themselves to genuinely care about their city Glasgow . I am optimistic that a solution will be found if we stand united on the issue.

08 Aug 2016 14:29:43
Fd I don't blame puma in any way. Its their job to supply kit to retailers etc. The only ones in the wrong are sd who are trying to sell tops without the image rights to do so.

08 Aug 2016 14:36:09
I have an idea concerning the whole strip thing but don't know if its legal maybe you can have some input tell me if I'm wrong or not but if the fans aren't buying stock from SD rangers have to buy excess stock will it be at full price or build cost eg couple of quid. If its just for a few quid why don't rangers then sell those tops to fan who wish to buy them at full price are they legal to sell or would that be braking the law?

08 Aug 2016 10:02:37
I've seen a lot of fan's having digs at the result on Saturday n tbf they are right to be annoyed, but realistically we should be happy with the result! I'm saying this cause we have just took our first game in, back in the top tier! Think back to when our club was papped down to the lower league's, as much as we were in dismay n thought "What the f##k"

08 Aug 2016 12:16:13
We are Rangers u can't seriously be happy drawing at home to hamilton.

08 Aug 2016 12:49:12
of course we are not and should not be happy. let's look forward now to Tues and then Dundee on Saturday which will be massive.

08 Aug 2016 14:04:54
I we don't beat dudndee on Saturday I can't see us winning the league as celtic only got beat what three times last season so we need to go on a good run from here until the old firm at least to get the confidence in the team as I think we lack the belief right now.

08 Aug 2016 08:57:09
Hi Bears

Few points about Saturdays game. Obviously a disappointing start but the way we played was more disappointing for me than the result we looked tired and scared to get on the ball. Kranjcar will be a player but he looks unfit and overweight to be honest I hope Holt is fit for the Dundee game. In imo he was one of our best players and buy in a long time. Would also like to see Dodoo I don't know why we are starting miller through the middle instead of Waghorn anyway and we don't know how long Waggy will be out for now. Forrester came on and changed the game.

Dave King said he would be surprised if we didn't bring at least one more signing in before the end of the window I would like to see him pay a transfer fee .

Last point I think Foderingham was well within his rights to give Halliday some stick, he had to pull of a great save because Andy lost his man .

08 Aug 2016 14:07:55
halloiday for me isn't the answer this season one of the slower ones in the middle and we need people comfortable on the ball with pace. i'd play holt windass, forrester in the middle first and also bring in rossiter to start in that holding role.

08 Aug 2016 07:49:23
Saturday's result was of course disappointing but maybe we were becoming to gung-ho about our return to the SPL. Also, the starting XI wasn't much different in personnel from last season's team. I'm keen to see a line up against Dundee that includes Rossiter, Forrester, Windass, Barton, Dodoo, O'Halloran and Crooks from the start (don't know if Crooks is fit) . Also, play Jason Holt. He was outstanding last season and can score goals. We need to be realistic. Four years away from the top flight, not much money to spend on players compared to the past. Celtic still have a lot more money and signing Sinclair and Dembele and Brenda shows they'll be hard to shift. Having said all that, this new team will need time to bed in. I just hope that by the time it does the SPL title isn't out of sight.

08 Aug 2016 14:09:44
its the defence that need shaping up as its basically the same as last year with an old man added to the squad I don't think that any of our defenders are even close to being good enough for the style of football we need to be playing.

08 Aug 2016 16:11:11
We have known since miway through last season that our two centre backs were not good enough and it is quite clear that Hill is not the answer. We needed a quality signing and should have pulled out all the stops to bring one in. If the spine of the team is not right then the entire team suffers and the weakest part of our team right now is goalkeeper, centre back and striker. Our best sides all the way through the 45 years that I have been following Rangers had quality in these roles and the current incumbents wouldn't have got anywhere near a Rangers jersey in the past, (although that is a bit harsh on Miller who in his younger days was a quality player but Fotheringham, Hill and Kiernan sadly do not come close to being good enough.

08 Aug 2016 06:54:09
Drop kranjcar and play holt in that position, waghorn out now for a few months, Forrester out right, O'halloran through the middle! Easy, we r one dimensionally as usual without a plan B, thought we would challenge for the league this year, NO CHANCE of that after watching us on Saturday, no passion, no urgency, no penetration, the stage was set, the fans turned out in their numbers, first game live on skysports, DAMP SQUIB. if we had the right team on from the start, and our manager even said to players to try score a goal, we'd a won, it's that simple. Clint hill was terrible, he'll b good if we're holding on to a lead and we have to defend set plays, he's got height, normal play, he shouldn't even b considered, I'd rather have Ali Crawford than kranjcar, thought he'd s strolled it up here, am right in a sense, cause he was strolling about the oark DOING NOTHING, but not that type of stroll, weak, too slow, not interested, shame as well, cause he was a player! We won't finish first, that's for sure NOW, but top 3 should b realistic.

08 Aug 2016 07:50:38
O Halloran isn't a striker why play him through the middle?

08 Aug 2016 07:50:44
I hope the players are not as defeatist as you Colin or we are in trouble 😱.

08 Aug 2016 08:05:10
O'halloran played through the middle when he ripped us up, plus his pace and goal threat means he is a striker or can easily play as a striker, well if uz watched that the other day and thought for one second it was good enough, u r deluded, the usual, plenty of the ball, 20 shots at goal, and score 1? It doesn't add up, and our usual at the back, conceding a goal as per! Wake up, wrong team selection from the start, y where 2 players aloud to b on McKay the WHOLE game? Without MW changing him over, or changing the way we where set up! Don't have the blue tinted glasses on lads/ girls, everybody saw it on Saturday and it ain't good enough!

08 Aug 2016 08:24:29
It was the first game of the season. The only "top 4" team that played well was Hearts, and they got beat. Aberdeen could have lost. Celtic could have lost aswell, we should have won. it's not the end of the world mate. still plenty more games to go.

08 Aug 2016 08:38:13
Aye but we are not throwing in the towel after 1 game for goodness sake. We are putting a good team together, the fans are excited that's why 50000 at the game and 30000 for midweek cup games, as you say we have had w9veffirts on goal so we can't be that far off, early days might need a bit tweaking but the goals will start to go in.
We have to realise uncomfortable as it is that Celtic have resources we don't at the moment but it's our teamwork and sticking together that can get us there. We can win the league but we might not. We just have to keep improving and we will get there.

08 Aug 2016 09:58:07
You make some good points Colin but as I said in my other post perhaps we were a bit gung-ho on our return to the SPL. We are a work in progress with limited funds, certainly compared to Celtic. Celtic were lucky to beat Hearts who were the better team in the second half yesterday. Sometimes you need a break too. Celtic might have already used their allocation against Astana and Hearts! Let's see the new signings all playing against Dundee next weekend.

08 Aug 2016 12:21:25
O Halloran's goal threat? I take it your not aware of the goal scoring record then? He has never been prolific in this career so far.

Ali Crawford all round play was excellent. He caused us lots of problems with his sharpness and direct running. He would be a great addition to the squad.

Ali Crawford? The same guy who was in the away end at Tynecastle yesterday. Jesus wept.

08 Aug 2016 14:17:58
please shut up guys the boy Crawford is okay and had a good game against a terrible rangers team yesterday but I wouldn't sign him he would ever make my bench!

I know its just the first game but I hope we dramatically change as we will be struggling to even put up a fight this season as we where no where near good enough on Saturday.

I hope barton and niko can contribute this season they where way off the boil. even use the sparingly as subs until they get up to speed.

The first two names on the team sheet for me should be Barton and Rossiter and if we are looking to the future then we should be building our team round Rossiter.
In the absence of a proven goalscorer I would start with young Dodoo and give him the opportunity to excel and I would expect the non performers like Krancjer, Halliday and McKay from Saturday's game to up their performance significantly or they would not be playing on Saturday. In fact I would rather see Holt deployed alongside Barton and Rossiter in midfield than Halliday and I would have MOH and Forrester on the flanks with McKay on the bench with Krancjer. When Crooks is fit I guess he has to be deployed at centre back, which might be a waste of a good talent but a blind man can see that our current centre backs are out of their depth! Until then I would be tempted to try Wallace at centre back since we have a more than able replacement at full back with Hodson.

Id like the gaffer to show some balls and bench niko, and halliday for 2moro&sat. i'd persevere with miller as i only think he was starved of decent service on sat hence the reason he didn't have a great game.

When does the transfer window close?

08 Aug 2016 14:18:15
end of august.

08 Aug 2016 05:59:09
Same time it normally closes every year.

08 Aug 2016 19:02:31
31st Aug.

07 Aug 2016 23:53:29
Think we should promote a youth cb and give him a shot, perhaps against Peterhead. Can't get any worse and good uncover a gem.

08 Aug 2016 09:42:37
It is being flung in the deep end by doing that, Warburton has said if there is someone good enough then they're old enough. MW and DW don't see anyone ready to step up to CB otherwise they wouldn't be looking further a field.

08 Aug 2016 14:24:23
warbs and wier have really surprised me this year made some really good signings, but what where they thinking, seriously guys the one area we where lacking quality was cb's and a real proven goalscorer and all we have signed is basically midfielders, one untested striker who prefers to be on the wing, and a cb with 0 speed and 0 quality! i'm not a manager but aren't you supposed to fix the weakest part of the team before strengthening the strongest part of your team!

08 Aug 2016 14:26:16
oh and btw I love what warbs and weir have done but we can't let the fact we love them hide the fact that if we don't get a really good defender in soon then that is a serious oversight on their part and they should be criticized for it!

07 Aug 2016 23:39:58
We all know the defence needs strengthened but we don't desperately need a striker! We just signed a player that was highly rated at the EPL champions and is at a great age. Are we going to get any players of a higher pedigree? Dodoo will be our man given the chance! People are linking us, on a daily basis, with all these average penalty box strikers that don't fit our fluid style. In fairness any of the guys we have are good enough to score goals in this league. Miller has been very poor but in his defense we haven't create anything for him and McKay and Waggy etc need to answer for that!

08 Aug 2016 00:58:05
We still need to sign a striker.

08 Aug 2016 14:39:05
defo defence first priority and then the striker but get the defender or preferably defenders in the door first.
if this is the team we have for the rest of the season we won't finnish third.
