After the start Jordan Rossiter has had at the club it's got to be said it doesn't look good for the lad? No sign of a recovery for a calf injury and i wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't play again this season?

09 Dec 2016 07:29:28
Who knows if it is a calf injury and why he's been 10 days away from full fitness for the past 3 months. Last season we never heard a word about Temmpleton's injury or recovery and as far as I know he no longer plays football. I read Windass slipped on a bit of astroturf and pulled his hamstring and a while back Wilson injuring himself warming up for a match before kickoff. Some strange injuries going on but 3 months out and counting with a calf injury seems as strange as they come.

09 Dec 2016 10:13:39
Did he not return from the calf injury then twist his ankle?

09 Dec 2016 12:56:36
Just the other day there MW said he will be fit in 8-10 days. Hopefully he comes back stronger and can fulfill potential.

09 Dec 2016 14:32:37
Kfraser

Templeton is still unfit and unable to train.

09 Dec 2016 14:48:25
Keep in mind rossiter hasn't had a break from football and didn't get a good pre season because he was with england youths in the summer so it will take its toll on him am sure after he gets a good rest and a decent pre season the boy will be class for us his season hasn't stopped and all players pick up wee injuries the more into the season we get only natural and before its pointed out he's no been playing lately and that's his rest a get that but a mean next season.

09 Dec 2016 17:30:38
Harshreality templeton was released from his contract in may mate.

09 Dec 2016 20:51:54
He's without a club and - I read - turned down an offer from Edinburgh City.

Bit of a strange one this. Not sure what went on in his last year with us.

09 Dec 2016 21:04:12
Regarding Rossiter. Apparently he is always going to be prone to injury. I'm not sure of his condition but it involves his muscles. Before you hit disagree, do your homework.

09 Dec 2016 21:27:27
Bruisedbear, lots of rumours, but it is a shame what happened to, potentially, a great talent.

Jordan Rossiter's Injury Durations,
Looks To Me Like He's Very Injury Prone,
Anytime He Gets Better He Seems To Pick Up Another Injury Pretty Quickly.

10 Dec 2016 01:14:56
How is there 2 disagrees with my comment about templeton being released in may lol. But no disagrees abt him still being unfit lol. Jesus.

10 Dec 2016 11:01:29
Bryan1978

I am aware he was released but he was supposed to be going to train with Raith Rovers however he wasn't fit and couldn't train.

10 Dec 2016 12:29:55
Think Templeton liked the drink n the fame more than he enjoyedplaying n training. Shame he could've been a cracking player.

08 Dec 2016 20:25:51
Is that Serge Atakayi it the training gallery? If so good to see some more of the young guys getting a chance.

09 Dec 2016 04:44:50
Aye good to see mate these boys should be training with first team as much as possible trouble is coaches only want to work with so many players at any one time, so there is limited opportunity for young guys to come into 1st team session! Quicker we get the cream of yougsters intergrated in training the better imo, but will only happen if we move a few players on or there are more players on treatment table.

08 Dec 2016 19:31:58
Is it just me or are the daily record touting Billy gilmore. He's a young lad with bags of talent and this sorry excuse of a paper seem to be putting his name out there in what I feel is an attempt to attract unwanted attention to this young lad. It's tough enough for us to keep our young talent as it is without them lot advertising him every other week.

09 Dec 2016 08:41:25
If I'm being honest they upped young Dembele fair more than Gilmour which annoys me. Gilmour has bags of potential, a sponsorship deal with Adidas already (Rarity for a young Scottish player) played with the u20's the other night, and will no doubt be in the first team in 2-3 years.

09 Dec 2016 14:42:02
In the team if he stays that long mate! Hopefully he does though! He certainly already looks an amazing prospect with half of all the big clubs in europe chasing his signature! Remember the name, billy gilmour, because everyone's going to know who this youngster is in a few years time!

09 Dec 2016 15:21:30
Two words.

John Fleck.

10 Dec 2016 10:17:46
John fleck has made a career for himself away from us good luck to the lad.

08 Dec 2016 19:24:09
Hear a few people mention Jason Cummings what about giving young Hardy a game he's a cracking goal scorer.

09 Dec 2016 10:14:45
Cummings is a natural born goalscorer imo he would be a great buy. Hardie is a good young player but has to prove himself.

09 Dec 2016 10:44:38
Cee. How can Hardie prove himself if he isn't given a chance in the first team? Surely Warburton can give Hardie and Burt a chance in the first team soon? The league title has gone and I think they are both good enough to be part of a Rangers team that should still be the rest of the SPL. What is the point of having promising youngesters if they are never given a chance to show their promise?

09 Dec 2016 12:58:32
He could prove himself by scoring for his loan club. For me he hasn't impressed enough at st mirren to be near our team.
I like hardie but need more from him.

09 Dec 2016 14:44:23
Forget all about that troublemaker cummings, leave him where he is! We've just got rid of one!

10 Dec 2016 10:19:05
Doiger we can give him minutes to get experience but eight now we need a goalscorer which Cummings is and imo the best in Scotland outwith Griffiths.

08 Dec 2016 18:34:23
I was just looking at the training gallery pictures for the hearts game on club website. Excuse my ignorance, but is that Fraser Aird in a couple of the photos? If so, i had no idea he was back, even though vancouver's season is over. His training strip has no initials either as far as i can see. I heard he had a good season in mls? Anyone know?

08 Dec 2016 20:08:44
Been back for weeks since the White caps season finished. Given he's not been near a match day squad or even played with the 20's as an overage player can't see other than another loan somewhere, sold ( White caps quite liked him) or released.

09 Dec 2016 04:46:32
Probably end up being released although we don't have much cover for full back positions.

09 Dec 2016 08:43:22
He done pretty well at Vancouver Whitecaps. And personally I reckon the MLS is a better quality league than the SPL, so if he can make it over there, surely he is worth a try?

09 Dec 2016 11:23:50
to the person that disagreed, what part did you disagree with?

09 Dec 2016 19:38:17
MLS does attract some big names. i'm skeptical if any teams in the MLS would win our premiership though. Just my opinion. But it is a decent league . If Aird has played well there MW might give him a chance. All the best to him.

09 Dec 2016 20:44:09
It wasnt me that disagreed with you though, haha.

08 Dec 2016 13:31:38
I don't know that everyone else here will agree, but I think what warbs is doing with players such as dodoo, rosstier, atayaki, windlass and potentionally hepburn Murphy is to really set up a young core from the ground up and build a team around these players. Forget the money because without Europe we can't compete with the buying power of the other mob. But if we are able to get these young talented boys in for next to nothing and develop them in the right way. We will have a solid squad for years to come.
And who know we might be offered big money for any one of them in the future and if we are we will be making a massive profit.

Just my thoughts, gers fan from down under!

08 Dec 2016 13:53:52
love the optimism aussie bear.
u dint happen to be one of my cousins from over there do u?

related to the stirlings at all lol?

08 Dec 2016 15:01:50
Thanks mate!
Not easy to keep track over here, but from what I see they're building not just for now but also for the future when we do eventually start to play in Europe again!

Which part of Australia? My mothers side is Fry, from Greenock.

08 Dec 2016 16:43:19
they live in Brisbane
well they did not sure where they moved to from there.

tell me aussie bear are there any jobs going over there?
coz I want the hell outa here.

08 Dec 2016 18:51:43
They know the O'Connors from greenock?

08 Dec 2016 19:10:38
I'm from Melbourne haha, there's always work here!

And they could do spoc, I'll have to ask. I'm also related to the crightons.

08 Dec 2016 20:34:26
Kenny crighton owns his own scafolding firm i'm from greenock aswell skip. ps do hope that wasnt your dog in that kangaros headlock with the two of you going toe to toe.

08 Dec 2016 23:29:46
Kenny is my uncle! Do you know him personally? Tell him May and Billy's grandson in Aus says hello if you do.

And thankfully no it wasn't hahaha, they're usually quite relaxed when I've seen them.

09 Dec 2016 06:12:48
Is it Kenny Crichton that's originally from Castlemilk lads?

09 Dec 2016 14:24:00
Not too sure what that is, but he's big in the boxing scene.

09 Dec 2016 16:05:17
Dont think its the same 1 mate. the guy i lnow is originally from Castlemilk and is abt 53.

09 Dec 2016 16:44:59
Ausie bear where in greenock my friend i'm from larkfield.

10 Dec 2016 02:27:11
Well me grandmothers sister is right across from mortons home ground, I think they're all around that but. Unfamiliar as I haven't been over yet! But the old firm is on the bucket list.

08 Dec 2016 13:30:54

09 Dec 2016 14:22:31
Might we not be forced to sell most of these for a development fee only if other clubs pushed it?

08 Dec 2016 10:36:59
Good news that sports direct profits are down by 25%, I'd hate anybody to lose jobs, but we need to cut off that big octopus arm for the greater good. Don't go into the shop, don't buy SD goods anywhere, let's make sure his next financial result is 25% down again. He only has one bottom line, profit, let's deprive him some more.

08 Dec 2016 13:09:35
its not just down to rangers fans boycott mccomb, the fact is everyone now knows what a bellend this guy is. i too hate people like this and hope his next crap is a hedgehog.

08 Dec 2016 21:51:35
I heard it was nearer 35% dip in profits. The sooner he is away from our club the better. Mr Teflon Green should be ashamed of himself for getting us into such an onerous contract.

08 Dec 2016 06:29:04
People say putting youths in full team only hinder them and hold them back. absoloute nonsence. try telling that to likes of rooney deli ali ryan gauld both souter brothers callum paterson etc etc etc. let's get them on the bench and when were winning 2 nil get them on. thinking was it not neymar that took a penaly and scored for brazil at 17.

08 Dec 2016 08:19:27
Ryan Gauld? sorry where is he right now? Difference with Alli, Rooney, Sauter's, Patterson is that they were good enough for the step up. Some players need that extra bit of time to make it.

08 Dec 2016 09:45:06
Put on when winning 2-0 ?

Not going to get much game time then.

08 Dec 2016 09:46:21
That's true only show some kids take longer to shine, hence sometimes they don't shine until they leave Celtic and rangers.

08 Dec 2016 12:12:57
These kids that we have at our club are good eneough under 20s won 3 nill again Gilmour who is 15 started in this game zak rudden scored a double and yet again Liam Burt scored 1 why we are signing players players from lower leauges In England is anyone guess these signing are not coming up and playing amazing so maybe time to look at difrent markets or save money and look at our youths.

08 Dec 2016 12:41:59
We will never know if kids are good enough unless we give them a chance. We as a club imo have always been slow to give youth a chance. Murray park should be producing more.

08 Dec 2016 17:32:02
Yep charlie Adam n ross mcormsck prime examples of that! Never got the game time they deserved left for peanuts hink mcormsck must be about 30 mill in transfers now.

08 Dec 2016 10:29:24
Delboy1979,i need to pick you up on something here. Its always rangers then celtic when you're speaking about them, in that order mate! LOL.

08 Dec 2016 23:36:48
Fleck and Wylde to name but a few prove that flinging a kid in doesn't always work long term. They may be exceptional at their age group but first team is a whole diff game.
Gilmore is exceptional but he's only 15 and is built like a kid! Let's hope he is integrated soon but with caution or he may get same treatment as McKay (fans desp to get him out of starting XI) .

09 Dec 2016 19:11:48
Unless you are talking about league positioning Coops ;-)
